Liz and Carlos from the Aamco shop on Broadway near Kyrene were very courteous and informative on my car s transmission issue. The shop is busy but effective. The mechanic worked on and returned the vehicle by the estimated time. Also made great recommendations for follow on work. Will definitely return and recommend to others.Thanks!

I waited for assistance for almost 15 minutes. Had to leave.2 men in the shop we're working on a piece of trim on a car. Being that it was a transmission shop, made me think that it was their personal vehicles. Of course I was unsure of this. I asked for assistance from them. They told me to talk to the person in the office. And the person in the office was on his personal cell phone. Came out to talk to another person. Finally I just left after about 15 minutes

my 05 Chevy 1500 started acting up on me comin back from work and I was thinking on replacing the whole trans for a moment but I took it to AAMCO in southern and Carlos give me a call back the same day explaining the issue that was just a bad sensor and saving me lots of money , this guys are good & honest for sure coming back again

Wow! We knew we were in trouble in Blythe CA when our transmission began acting up. We went to two auto repair shops there and they could not help us. We nursed the car to Tempe AZ and barely made it to AAMCO on W. Southern Ave. Carlos immediately reassured us that they could replace the transmission and they did. He was most reassuring and pushed to get the job done. They pulled the old transmission out within an hour even though they were very busy already. That evening they got the replacement and had it installed and ready to go by the middle of the next morning. There were three of us plus two kids below the age of six. Carlos kept us informed the entire time with timely texts and phone calls. He is exceptionally polite and courteous, very professional! We were so greatful for his help and quick service. We continued on to Fort Worth TX and arrived with no problems with the AAMCO transmission. This was my first experience with AAMCO and this particular shop was recommended to us by a mechanic friend we contacted by phone during our ordeal from Blythe to Tempe. I don't know about the other AAMCO shops in the Phoenix area, but I certainly recommend this one. I am so greatful that Carlos came to our rescue!

Would like to give a shout out to the guys at AAMCO!!! They did an amazing job with my car services and the turn around time was impeccable. This was the first time I used an auto shop that wasn't the dealer I'm impressed on how great the experience was. Jay was informative and helpful and put my mind at ease about the services my car needed. I had to take my vehicle in due to my motor seized. I had just bought it used less then 90 days prior to. These guys had a full estimate done with in 24 hrs of it being towed in. They kept me informed the entire process and worked with my extended warranty company to file a claim which ended up being approved. Once my new engine was shipped they said a week and it was completed a day early! Nice guys, good service and my vehicle is running great. I'm surprised at how easy they made it for me and I am forever grateful to them for that. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle for service as will I for any service maintenance going forward. $5000.00 repairs gone wrong. I like ammco, just not,Tom the store manager. He is a salesman. Conman more like. Changing parts that didn't need changed and charging. 4x4 makes noise now. Just a all around RIP OFF.....DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION.It's the little stuff like, I wanted my parts back, he said fine. No parts received. I had to go dumpster diving. Hose clamp he said broke so he had to replace. NOT SO. If he lied about something small like a hose clamp, what else is he lieing about?( pictures attached).I put new plugs and coil boots on myself less than a year ago. He replaced. No reason and approval, yet I got billed.
