There is a reason this shop has 5 stars. When you take your vehicle to Luis, you get more than just car repair. You get to know him, and he is a very good devoted family man. He is hands down one of the most genuine human beings I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. I am so grateful with the first experience I had, I will never take my car to anyone else. I recommend him very highly!

Great mechanics are very hard to come by. Honest, hardworking, and caring mechanics who do their job with integrity are almost non existent. That's exactly what you will get with Luis at 2B. He will never overcharge, will never do anything that doesn't need to be done, and he will always make sure the job is done the right way with the right parts. We are moving to Tennessee and will miss having such a solid mechanic. Thank you brother!

This man is one of the most HONEST mechanics that I ve EVER met!!!! Over the years , he s literally tightened screws and done quick fixes without charging me because it doesn t cost him. So when he gives you a price, you can literally take it to the bank. He cares about his customers like none I ve ever seem before. This review is from 15 years of experience through multiple vehicles.

Luis is amazing! He will tell you what's wrong with your vehicle before trying to charge anything and also makes his recommendations prior to fixing anything. Will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

Couldn t recommend this place more. I originally tried a different shop that wasn t able to lift up my camper van to work on and they recommended this shop to me and said that s who they get all their work done from and would trust them with their own cars & now I see why. They were extremely kind and helpful and charged me wayyy less than most shops would have. I felt like I wasn t being taken advantage of as woman like I usually get at auto shops. Just an all around 5 star place! Especially for affordability and honesty!

I have taken most of my cars to Luis. I have a Nissan Titan and he has replaced my shocks. Headlights. Lock actuator. Window motor and even my radiator. He charges fair prices and does quality work. If you are looking for a good and honest mechanic, look no further. Luis and family took care of my car in a timely and professional manner and saved me hundreds of dollars in the process. They went out of their way to save me as much money as possible on my cars repair (2015 Toyota Corolla/fuel pump). They had great communication, keeping up to date with the process and costs. I am so happy to find a mechanic I can trust. I will be using 2B Transmission and Complete Auto Repair for all my future car/truck issues.Service: Engine repair

I just want to HIGHLY recommend Luis and his staff at 2B Transmission and Auto Repair for their HONESTY and excellent service on my 2001 Toyota 4Runner. I had a noise in my transmission in gear and was starting to drive me crazy and embarrassing to drive around. Luis suggested that he remove my transmission and take it apart to inspect my torque converter and see if there was anything worn or damaged that could cause my issue. If there was no issue then it would be something more in the transmission internally. Other shops I called around that more specialized in Toyotas NEVER suggested doing what Luis recommended. Other shops even automatically assumed it was a bad transmission and such would cost a few thousand to fix. Happy to say that it was a bad bearing in my torque converter that was worn and causing my issue. Now, I am beyond ecstatic that it wasn't more than a bad torque converter. I highly admire a shop that shows the integrity of the auto repair. As a former auto-technician, I would highly recommend 2B Transmission and Auto Repair to my friends and family because that is how they treat you! Thanks again!JohnService: Transmission repair

My wife and I have been going to 2B Transmission for about four years. We have always had great experiences. Luis is very straightforward with what needs to be done right away and what can wait a while. He works very quickly and always seems thorough. Despite moving to downtown Phoenix, my wife and I still go to 2B for all of our automotive work because we just rust Luis to do things right the first time, charge a fair price, and give us an honest assessment of necessary repairs.

Luis is the best. This is my 3rd time coming here with 3 different cars and never been disappointed. I know about car mechanics, I work on my own cars and motorcycles(Dont know anything about body work), but I don't always have the time. I know him to be honest because he's always been spot on and the best deals I've seen anywhere. So good, I drive all the way from East Chandler, he's the only one I trustable has never let me down.

I just moved to Arizona and as soon as I got here, I immediately had car problems. Being new, I didn't have my usual mechanic. I was scared and nervous in a new city with car problems. I had called at least five places and they were either too busy and it would be a week wait to get it fixed, hours were when I was working or they didn't think they could fix my issue...until I called Luis. I dropped my car off on a lunch break, as I was waiting for my ride to grab me to take me back to work, Luis and his family (his brother works there too and his wife was helping on the admin side of the business) offered me lunch. I couldn't resist the homemade goodies, his wife literally shoved a plate in my hands. When I got off work Luis had figured out what was going on, let me know the cost (which was less than I was expecting) and my car was fixed the next day. Unbelievable service. Luis and his crew treated me like family. He will forever be my go to guy.

Luis does a fantastic job. He is able to find the issue and diagnose it correctly and is very fair. I have had several mechanics over the years and he is my favorite by far. I Highly recommend 2b transmission.

I've waited far too long to offer a review of this business. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles to 2B for years, since shortly after they opened.Luis and his brother are simply the best, period. Imagine that you have a good friend or family member who is an expert and experienced mechanic, and you know that if they do the work it will be done right and you will get the lowest possible price. That's what you experience here.Example #1: My wife's high-mileage Trailblazer needed ball joints and bearings, in addition to other suspension work. Had I taken it to a dealership the bill would've been over $2,000 easily. (I know, because I worked as a service advisor at a couple of dealerships) 2B did the work last year for under $800 and the car has performed fine since.Example #2: Recently I took my older, high-mileage Toyota SUV in because the check engine light was on and it was time for the emissions test. Turned out to be a bad catalytic converter. Typically that means a repair bill of well over $1,000. ('Cats' are expensive because of the elements they contain) Luis called me with the bad news after doing the diagnosis.Then he called me again, but with very good news: he found a reliable 'aftermarket' (i.e.: much more inexpensive than an "OEM"--Original Equipment Manufacturer--version) converter. (Note that I specified a reliable catalytic converter. Many aftermarket cats are poorly made with cheap materials and will fail prematurely, often before you can get from the repair shop to the emissions testing station. Luis made sure he found a good one.) I had him change the oil with synthetic. He replaced an air filter, a radiator cap, and--get this--even fixed my broken radio antenna. I forgot to mention the antenna when I dropped off the vehicle, but when I brought it up over the phone, he informed me that he had already repaired it. Total bill: $617.00I'd give these guys 10 stars if I could.

Exceptionally honest people. The shop and nearby area are loaded with cars, which means they have a lot of customers. Personally, I am completely satisfied with work that was done and grateful to all helpful advises that Luis gave me. Thank you.

Amazing service!!!! They walk you through what they need to work on and show you your parts and what they're supposed to look like! I got lucky enough to walk in but it only took 2 hours and they had to order a part for me!! This is definitely know hard work and incredible customer service! I will only go here from now on!
