Service was extraordinary, I really appreciated the updates as they worked on my car. They even sent me photos. The work was done well and I'm happy with the job they did. My only complaint was the cost, I felt it was way too high for the job done

Great friendly out going and loved the people had a problem with my o2 sensor for over 6 months couldn t get it fixed by fire stone and they charge me a lot of money for nothing they got me in and the first day they had figured it out and at a fair price got my engine light off and was able to go through omissions. I highly recommend this place and Keith was awesome. Kept me informed.please go you won t be disappointed Service: Auto engine tuning

Brought my vehicle in to complete a health inspection and check specifically for a creaking noise during steering and also periodic slow acceleration. For the health inspection alone it cost $360 for them to test drive the vehicle and raise it in the shop to have a look. Estimate for recommended services totaled over $4000. I was able to be told a description of everything wrong with the vehicle which is good, but the inspection alone shouldn't have cost $360 when I have multiple sources stating online that the specific inspection procedures that they did shouldn't have cost more than $150. As for the "repair" costs, I might as well get a new car.

Have used Keith in the entire staff for a couple years now for my three automobiles. Extremely pleased with them. If a big job becomes bigger, they will call and discuss prior to any repairs. They do a complete complementary inspection for your car each and every time you take it in including oil changes. Would recommend highly.

I am so grateful we found Thunderbird Automotive after moving to Surprise. We have three vehicles we take to this shop and have had an excellent experience with every service for the last 4 years. My most recent experience was when I took my 16 year old daughter s car in for maintenance. Both Keith and Brandon addressed my daughter directly, explaining in detail what her car needed and why. They took the time to teach her the importance of maintenance and made sure she understood the difference between each service as what was needed and what was recommended. I appreciated that they treated her as the car owner and provided details to help her understand her diagnostics. This will be the only place we bring any of our vehicles for years to come.

While in for routine maintenance they found problems with the struts and suspension and were able to fix that while they had it in the bay. It was reasonably priced and saved us another visit. We have used Thunderbird Auto for years when ever our car is not under warrantee from the dealer and we really appreciate their honest and capable work.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I Love My Car! It's like a Best Friend; reliable, a few dings and always there when I need her. The amazing team at Thunderbird Automotive of Surprise has taken excellent care of my old '02 Lexus for many years and keeps her running in top shape. I can't imagine life without my car OR Thunderbird. Thunderbird Automotive is my "go to" place. As a single woman who needs to have car repair done and not be taken advantage of - these guys are the real deal. They are always courteous, professional and help me each and every time I go in. I know if I have any questions or concerns, I can stop in, and they are always willing to help me. I have been getting routine service for my 2013 Cadillac at Arrowhead Cadillac. Nice people, nice service department, nice dealership. But it was time for my 60,000 mile service and they gave me a flat "package" price of $1,475. Whoa!!! I had several referrals to Thunderbird, so I decided to give them a try. Great place. They did the same work for half what the dealership wanted. But that wasn't my main criteria. I could get lower pricing than a Cadillac dealership a lot of places. This place is clean and very friendly, and it's genuinely a pleasure to do business there. They proactively look for existing or potential future problems, which is big for me because I'm a car idiot. But they are not looking to add on unnecessarily or pad bills. I actually enjoyed doing business here, and they have a customer for life unless something changes.

Everyone who works there is nice, knowledgeable and most of all concerned about resolving whatever auto issue you may be having. My experience has been they are fair, do excellent work and only the work needed. They will however be good enough to give you advance notice of any issues they may see in the works which is good. So they can be addressed and not leave you stranded somewhere. Highly recommend this shop/group, very glad I found them. I was just trying to get a 'last minute' oil change 4 days before Christmas. I had gone to my usual shop and they wanted to schedule me a week out. I had heard of Thunderbird, they were only about a mile away, so I thought "why not?". Long story short - I have never been to an automotive shop where I felt more welcomed, where they were willing to bend over backward to help a customer and were absolutely professional and easy to deal with. They said they had just had a cancellation for an 8:00 oil change (it was 7:45) and could work me in and that it would take about an hour (out by 9:00). 45 minutes later at 8:15 my car was ready! They will have me as a customer for a long, long time...thank you Thunderbird!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I needed one part replaced. Everywhere I went, there was a week's wait. I walked in to Thunderbird Auto, told them what I needed and they had it done within a couple of hours at a better price than the other places. They also checked over the car and gave me a complete list of what else needed to be done to it at no extra charge. They are very professional and honest and they gladly go the 'extra mile' to ensure the customer is satisfied. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will definitely be back.

I have done business with Thunderbird Automotive for over 13 years and I have always been happy with the results no matter what the repair or problem was with my cars. The new owners, Dirk and Brandon have embraced that responsibility and reputation that was entrusted to them upon taking over the shop and have carried on that trust and professionalism to which I feel secure in taking my car there for any or all repairs. My recent experience could not have been any better. They did not have to tell me that my repair problem was under warranty and that they would replace the parts along with the labor at no cost to me..Please tell me what shop or dealership would be so honest after 3 years of warranty..I would have never remembered such a warranty. Brandon and Dirk deserve our business and they will not disappoint you. The shuttle service is a nice perk too...

I am so happy with Thunderbird Automotive of Surprise.� I trust them implicitly and they have never let me down as to service and/or explanations of my auto problems.�Jimmy is so helpful every time I call or come into the shop.� He deserves SPECIAL kudos. �And thanks to owners, Dirk and Brandon. My car is 17 years old and I plan to keep it going with their excellent help.

I've got the recommendation about Thunderbird Automotive and it was a good decision to visit that place.Let me start with the price for the service got - it was an absolutely fair price. Adrian explained everything step-by-step, what needs to be done first and what can wait for later repair. No "pushing" additional services on me.And on the top of all that they sponsor one of our local baseball teams.Going to return to use their service in the future.

I am very happy with their auto service and how fast they get the work, but done right the first time. My wife drives 32 miles to and from work each day so we are having to get an oil change on her car every two months so we have gotten to know these guys and they are very helpful with making sure her car safe for her each day.

$2560 in parts and labor. Keith was the representative that I spoke with, he was not very friendly, he didn't give me the inspection that he promised. They replaced my distributor, spark plugs, wires and, water pump. The picture below shows the water pump which they did not tighten all the bolts on. I had to do it myself. My long search for a trustworthy, reliable and efficient auto repair shop ended when I was told about Thunderbird Automotive in Surprise. A client of my wife at Pure Physique Pilatez in Surprise said she knew of an honest auto repair shop that was within a couple miles of my home. A few days after my wife told me of this recommendation I had car trouble. I called Thunderbird Auto and they arranged for a tow to their shop. Thus began my relationship with Thunderbird. I especially like the software that tracks necessary periodic maintenance for my vehicle. When I expected to be told of expensive, unnecessary repairs, nobody at Thunderbird tried this tactic. They informed me of periodic maintenance that the manufacturer recommends which I am now following. This place is highly organized with a no nonsense approach to automotive repair. I'm also impressed with the cleanliness of this whole place of business. I highly and energetically recommend making this your repair shop. You won't be disappointed. Dennis M.

First, we are not employed or affiliated in any way except as a customer, and have not received any compensation for our review.We have a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander that needed it's first really major work that we knew would be pretty costly. The car is over 12 years old and has been a very reliable automobile but we knew it needed work.We had a couple oil changes done at Thunderbird and really liked the way we were treated..We had to have all the work done quickly so we could drive to Utah for a funeral, and we knew if we didn't get it checked and repaired we'd probably have problemsThunderbird Auto came to the rescue in every way. They worked us in so that the repairs would be completed in time to attend the funeral in Utah.The work was done when they said it would be. Their prices are inline with most other auto repair companies.We only have one vehicle so they took us home and picked us up when the work was completed.We moved to Arizona a little over a year ago and needed to find a good auto repair company, and we were lucky when we found Thunderbird Auto. We feel we really can trust them for any needed auto repairs.The minute I turned the engine on I could feel the positive difference in the way it was running. Thunderbird Automotive of Surprise's owners and employees are very inviting, personable, and easy to converse with. We were relieved that they have appointments and a shuttle service to and from home for single car owners. They were proactive in providing a total car inspection to first time customers and showed us photos of wear and tear on internal parts. They were also honest on providing information on things that were in great working condition. Thunderbird Automotive gave us a list of recommendations in order of priority towards fixing our car. We see this as a valuable visual to have and work towards. They were flexible on allowing us to decide on what we would like fixed immediately and in the future where needed. Overall, we enjoyed our experience with Thunderbird Automotive of Surprise and have chosen them as our primary car mechanic. We highly recommend them to others!

I needed my AC recharged as I noticed it just wasn't cooling like it used to, and we've been having record breaking high temperatures this summer. I called a few repair facilities to be able to do a cost comparison. I checked the coupon book mailer and found a coupon for an AC inspection and recharge up to 1 pound of R134a freon. The coupon was a great price compared to the the normal price and per the competition. They were able to give me a timely appointment and they fixed the problem in about an hour. Apparently, my freon was down about 50%. They refilled the freon and the system is much better, about 46�F now. They told me I should bring in in for a recheck in about a week to look for leaks after using it while the dye is still in the system (no charge, no appointment necessary, and will only take about 10 minutes). When I got in my car, I was happy to see no dirt or grease marks on the upholstery, carpeting, door handles, steering wheel, etc.I would recommend Thunderbird Automotive. I was having issues with my car not wanting to start properly. Keith made sure to do a full diagnostic and found the problem to be the crank sensor. We were fully informed on everything that had to be done. And we got my car back within a few days. Thunderbird Auto has taken care of our 2016 GMC Canyon and 2013 Jeep primarily for maintenance, during the past year. They quickly diagnose the problem and give you exact pricing before they begin the work! No surprises! They are very friendly, thorough and point out areas of future maintenance, and when to get the work scheduled. Thunderbird also offers to drive you home, if the repair is going to take longer than expected. Their pricing is competitive and they will even go so far as to give us approximate pricing on services that they do not specialize in. Car repairs are never enjoyable -- they're always needed at the most inconvenient time and there's always the worry of "how much is this gonna' cost me this time". At least at Thunderbird, the people are friendly and pleasant and try their hardest to make a bad situation easy -- from long experience, I know I can trust them when they tell me what's needed and an estimate of the cost. In emergencies, they've always fit us in and been honest in their time and scheduling estimates.

Brought my Ford Transit Connect in to be checked out as it was running rough. Matt and his team did the most thorough inspection I have ever seen from a auto repair shop. They documented everything that was wrong with my vehicle and even took pictures. Never had a shop do that before. Yes they corrected the most important parts for my safety and the vehicles performance. The truck runs better then ever now. Thanks to all of you at Thunderbird Automotive of Surprise.
