On the go is the worst shop ever! They haven't been able to fix my Ford Taurus! People that work in the shop are 18-20 years old, the good ones left the shop. Long story , short with those people my son lost 1800 and now we have to bring the car to another shop. I am ready to take them to small claims court. My name Daniel Bombar. That shop should go out of business quick!

These guys were great! I had a fuel pump go out on my 08 ram 1500. They got the part and took care of imy emergency! Done in a couple of hours. Even on a Saturday! Amazing customer service! I will be going back when needed. Thank you.

Absolutely great prices and workmanship. The shop is very communicative when they find something or recommend changes. Would definitely recommend versus the dealer.

I have a car with manual transmission that started acting up. Turns out it was pretty bad and quite expensive. However, that was not their fault. Parts are just expensive. The guys at the shop were fantastic. They even drove over night to Las Vegas to pick up parts in order to have it repaired and back to me on time. Shout out to Donald who was fantastic. They gave me a ride home. They offered to pick me up. They were friendly. I feel they were honest and worked hard to save me money yet still get the car repaired properly. They were busy so it did take a bit to get the work finished, but I feel good about the work they did and am happy with the results. I'm glad I picked them and definitely would use them again without hesitation.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Wanted to love this place. It's the closest place to us, and all seemed good at first. Repair done and on our way. Unfortunately, we had to bring our vehicle back multiple times for the same issue. They never had a sense of urgency, so we were without a vehicle for several weeks altogether, which puts a strain on the household for transportation, getting ubers or rental cars. They never actually fixed it. We took it in, had to take it back. Then back again and back again... not going back a fourth time. The attitude was annoyance from them. All this within a couple of months' timeframe and also being questioned on how we drive the vehicle. Just, a bad experience all the way around. They just kept doing the same thing over and over which obviously was not the way to fix it. Tried speaking with the owner and always told he's not available. Others should be cautious. We will not ever go back and have referred friends and family elsewhere.

On our way home to Canada transmission in our truck sprung a bad leak. Happened on a Saturday. Truck was towed to their shop. I called Devon Monday morning explained what happened and how we needed to be back in Canada by Sunday. He listened and understood our situation. Started repairs on truck immediately by 11:00 am transmission was already removed and diagnosed. Lots to repair. Truck was completed before noon on Tuesday. Can t thank them enough for the speedy thorough repair. Great place.Service: Transmission

If I could give them ten stars I would! I brought my Subaru in for a transmission swap and they were beyond knowledgeable and accommodating. The labor price is comparable to other shops and they did an amazing job, I would highly recommend them!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Fixed my transmission for much cheaper than any other shop quoted me, and very fast! And even though I already knew about it, I also appreciated them pointing out a separate issue with my truck. Nice people and business.

I took my standard car in to have clutch repaired about 2 1/2 years ago. My car is a 2011 that I bought in 2012 with 17k miles on it so all the driving has basically been done by me. Never had a problem until end of 2019. Had the clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder replaced for a little over 2k. I drive about 15 miles a day to go to work and back. I have put less than 20k miles on my car since their repair job. I am now having clutch problem again. Called them up, of course no longer under their warranty and it was suggested the problem was the way I drive. It's funny how I drove this car for almost 8 years with no problems plus the vehicle I owned before this one was also a standard that never had any clutch issues. Not sure what they said they replaced and what was actually replaced were the same but what I am sure of is that I will NEVER go to this business again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Who knows, they may do good work on some repairs but I wouldn't trust them for clutch repairs.

Amazing work! Dropped off my transmission Monday, Got it back Friday- next day put it back in my truck and drove to Idaho! They did a great job for a far more reasonable price in the valley. Trust me~they are the masters~ and I do recommend.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

They could get my transmission done within the week. They talked with my master mechanic from another state, because I know nothing.He said they seemed very knowledgeable and were a reputable company. I have sporty, turbocharged car. I never take my cars to a shop, I always do all my own work. But I ve been low on time lately and brought my car here. I told the guy, that this was a big leap of faith for me. He reassured me all would be well. So I made an appointment a week out, dropped my car off, it sat for almost another week without being brought in the shop. Finally they got it in and called me with the diagnosis. I gave the go ahead to make the repair. Another week getting it back together and I have my car back. $1,200 to replace a throw out bearing and transmission fluid change. Pricey, but I understand the reason. I get my car back and it s still making the same noise (bad bearing), they put 40 HARD miles on my car. How do I know they beat on car u may be asking? I have a digital read out on my dash that displays my average fuel economy, it s NEVER less then 20! I have a 4 cylinder after all, it s at 12 mpg! 40 miles with an average or 12 mpg!! And it s still making the noise..?!?I take it back and they tell me yes the part we put in must be bad We will file a warranty claim, I ll call you in two days. They never called, I called them. He said yes I m sorry I forgot, I ll do it now and call you back. That was 4 weeks ago and I haven t received a call. Since then the car still makes the noise and in the meantime I ve noticed numerous bolts missing, bolts stripped out, and pieces busted on my car. My car is basically a like new car with 80k miles. But I now have a check engine light on that came on a week after picking it up. It s a vacuum leak somewhere.. Hmm . It short, avoid this place. I will go back to doing things myself.Service: Transmission

Donald and the crew at On The Go really went out of their way to reassure me that I was going to get the best service possible. As a sales person myself I hate when people over promise and under-deliver. These guys said what they were gonna do and did what they said. Was it an expensive repair for me? Yes. All around great experience. I can t say enough about how professional and reassuring Donald was. I was very pleased with the great job these guys did in replacing/rebuilding my transmission on my truck. So much so that I ve recommended this place to several colleagues and friends. Keep up the great work. We need more businesses in the west valley and all of Phx like this one.

I took my 2007 Jeep Commander. They had to rebuild the transmission. It has been a month since I got my Jeep back and have to say I am very pleased with the way it drives. It shifts a whole lot smoother than it ever has. The cost was a whole lot less than any other place I got quotes from. The are definitely reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone needing transmission work. The only reason I did not give them five is because they did put some grease on the inside of my Jeep. Nothing that I was not able to clean, but should be a little more cleaner.

Excellent customer service. Fair prices and honest people. Hard to find these days. My truck popped a few transmission codes and Donald found out it was only the ignition switch. Thank you to Donald and Team You all were awesome. I would definitely recommend to anybody!

They replaced my transfer case in my dodge magnum. Donald did a good job at a fair price. There was another problem with the exhaust rattling and they got it taken care of at no additional charge. He went the extra mile to be sure I was happy. I recommend this shop.

Our son took his 2016 Hyundai Elantra which had 95,000 miles to Donald at On The Go Transmissions. Donald immediately told my son that he should take the car to Hyundai because his transmission should be covered because his vehicle was under the 100,000 mile mark. By doing this he saved us money on repairing a transmission. Donald s honesty with my son and excellent ethics Will definitely deserve our business should we ever experience any transmission services we may need for future vehicles that are not covered under warranty!!! Thank you so much Donald!!!

Took our Cadillac there to have a used tranny installed. Donald was VERY upfront, honest and real. Even said he wasn't going to do the work we were contemplating because it wouldn't be worth it for an '04 caddy with 117k miles already on it and he doesn't do customers like that (meaning it really wouldn't be worth the money he could make off us). Prices were very reasonable and they also offer a great financing program!! Definitely gained our respect and business now and in the future! Donald and his team of mechanics are top notch. Highly recommend!

Took my truck in with shifter indexing issues. Donald was able to have one of his technicians diagnose the problem (giving me worst case scenario) and an estimate for repair. They had my truck in the shop and working on it immediately. Repairs were done in stated time and for less than quoted ( he said that the problem was not as involved as worst case). Very happy customer and would recommend them.

I went to bring my 03 Tahoe to ON THE GO TRANSMISSION and I can honestly say Donald and his team of guys do an excellent job. My transmission was shot to pieces. Not literally. He had my truck up and back to factory settings swiftly and prompt. I will definitely recommend anyone who has transmission issue come see Donald. He'll definitely take care of the problem.

I really appreciate the time and consideration Donald and the other employees put into rebuilding my transmission. He was considerate about my financial situation and tried to keep the cost down. I was shown some parts they replaced and it was obvious that work needed to be done. Sometimes it's a concern, not being familiar with car issues, that I may be taken advantage of. I was not concerned about this at all. I feel like you can trust them and their work.

WONDERFUL SERVICE!!!! I brought my car in twice and they identified and fixed up my tail lights free of charge. I brought in my second car because i had a leak and they identified and personally showed me my battery fluid was just leaking because it had too much water in it. I really appreciated it and asked how much i owed them for talking their time looking at it, free of charge. They focus and excel at good honest service and they have earned my trust and business.
