Grate staff. Straight forward no trying to up sell me. They actually took me out on the floor with my van lifted and showed me a few thing to watch out for in the future. Was there about a hour for a oil change and air filter change.

Friendly service over the phone. I had a walkin for a free diagnostic. There was free wifi, while I waited a short turn around time. Given other information I had already given over the phone, they were able to inform me I needed a check engine light reset, which I missed when I had changed the oil myself.

Max Automotive is a great company that makes you feel like family. They make sure to communicate with you at every step before doing any of the work. Their prices are competitive and the work that I have had done was accomplished on time and completely fixed the problem.

An amazing family-owned business. Not only is the work top notch but they are very nice people. You feel the love when you go in ....unlike other mechanic shops you don't feel like you're going to get screwed over.....

Two years ago, I brought my car to this business. They were recommended by ARC in Sun City West. I had a check engine light. The problem was a vacuum leak in the EVAP system. I was told that it was a very expensive repair. To make a long story short the spare tire had come loss and broke off the two lines from the gas tank to the charcoal canister. All they did was read a computer code and didn't even bother to do a visual inspection. I called Max's and Terry said that reconnecting the lines wouldn't make any difference. I reconnected the lines the check engine light went out and I just got my car emission tested yesterday 10/04/23 and it passed. The gas tank was venting fumes into my garage. If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. I would not bring a roller skate to them for repair. AJService: General repairs & maintenance

I really don t trust mechanics and usually just do all the work myself but I had no time to do a couple things on my vehicle quickly.I heard a lot of good things about max automotive so I figured I give them a chance. I was glad I did because I found my new mechanic.They didn t try to sell me things I didn t need, they just got the jobs I needed done for a fair price and my vehicle was done the next day. Amazing service!

NO LOYALTY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! I ve been going to Max Auto for the last several years. They recently ordered a part for me to get exchanged and sat on it for about a month. I told them that I needed to save money for the next couple weeks and will contact them soon to set up an appointment. I called today to set my appointment because I ve been SAVING ALL WEEK, and they tell me they ve SENT THE PART BACK. They tell me they ve been sitting on the part for too long and that s not how they do business. Then Kathy continues to accuse me of past experiences, saying that I never paid for a past job they did?? This NEVER happened. Kathy continues to be accusatory and tells me to go get my part installed by the Dealership.ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO LOYALTY!!!! I am at a loss for words at how terribly I was treated.

I don't trust mechanics. But I trust Terry.We now live in Tolleson, but still we take our cars out to surprise to see Terry. Wouldn't trust my car to anyone else. Great Family

Ok so how many of you out there have taken your car to a place and wondered if the work done was necessary or you thought that you were over charged. I've been there until I found Max Automotive. I can't remember how I heard of them but I sure am glad now that I did. This is a family owned business, they treat you like a friend or neighbor, they are the real deal, so friendly, so honest. I will never take my car anywhere else. Terry, please, do not ever retire! The company is the best, the people are amazing!

Made an appointment for an oil change and was met with a very courteous, accommodating person, I would later learn was Cathy (co-owner). When I went in to get the service, I met Cathy in person and again received a very professional greeting. I not only requested the oil change but asked that the mechanic look over the entire vehicle since it would soon be put up for sale. I was amazed on how quickly the service was completed and I could get on with my day! Thanks Max Automotive for the excellent customer service!!Service: Oil change

I was referred to Max from a friend so I thought I d give them a try for an oil change. I just wish I knew about them sooner! I couldn t have asked for a better experience. Checked all the boxes from setting up the appointment to the location to a friendly welcome to a nice clean waiting area to only having to wait about 25 minutes to a great price! I ll be coming back for all of my automotive needs for both of my vehicles. Thank you so much Max!

Outstanding customer service. Took my vehicle in for diagnosis for low idle vibration, thinking I had emissions or fuel injector problems. After about 10 minutes the technician advised systems were good and just had a bad motor mount, which is common with Dodge Durangos. No charge for the service.Thank you for excellent service. This is a mechanic shop I trust. They do great work, and if you're lucky, you'll get to see their namesake.Nobody wants to drop $$$ on their ride, but if you have to, Max offers cash discounts on some of their services. You just need to ask.And I was able to get a synthetic blend oil change for just under $45, which is much more affordable than any of the competitors I called for a quote.

I feel like a family member wherever I bring my car in for service. Better than the dealership. I would recommend any one who wants fairness and honesty to give Max Auto a try! "Customer service is excellent"

I am someone who likes to do everything my self and generally don't trust mechanics. I also know I can't always do everything. I have taken my mustang here a few times now and have had nothing but great experiences. They are polite, timely, very reasonably priced, and - most importantly to me - they take pride in their work. They will be my go to from now on.

Absolutely thrilled! I won't be going anywhere else from now on.For years we've taken our cars to the dealership, only because we couldn't find a reputable mechanic. After having a terrible experience last week at the dealership, I told them to give me back my car and I won't be returning.I hopped online and found Max. Family run business, which I think is great. I called and spoke with Jenny, she told me to bring it right in. When I got there, I was greeted by her mom Kathy. Within minutes, her husband Terry had my car up on the lift. He had me come back and showed me what he was looking at. Then he took it out for drive. Came back in a few minutes and had me ride with him, to see if we were on the same page with the noise.I left my car with them at 5pm and I had a call the next morning that it was all done. When all was said and done, the price they charged me was more than fair. I was extremely happy.My family will be taking all of our vehicles to Max from now on... seriously a relief to have found good people.

Having just moved to the area, it was wonderful to go to an auto repair shop that was clean, honest, and reliable. The staff was super courteous and explained all the charges. They told me about some upcoming repairs that I may jeed but assured me they were not needed immediately. This is great so that I can save and be prepared. Great team working and place is nice.

Wow!!! I have always had a very hard time finding a trustworthy and honest mechanic. This establishment is family owned and easily one of the most professional places I have ever been to. I came in for a simple oil change and terry even brought me to the floor and showed me that I should replace my shocks very soon and also gave me a price estimate. From the moment I called to the time I came in everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely going to come here from now on for all my auto needs and will definitely be referring my family here. Highly recommend. They are extremely price friendly and even give a discount for paying in cash.

We ve been coming to Max Automotive for several years, since right after they opened. We won t take our cars ANYWHERE else.The family is friendly and they always seem glad to see us. They care about their customers, and Terry does good work at a good price. We trust them to keep our cars running and safe. Oh, and we love the dogs, too!

My boyfriend and I both trust the people behind this company name whole heartedly! Over the last 6 years I have been going here for all car repairs! Friendly, honest and trustworthy is frail in comparison to Terry, his wife, kids and crew! I have to say that we are lucky to have them! We send everyone we know their way because we know the quality, is at its best here! 5 stars is an insult because they are beyond!

Both my family and I have been bringing our cars to Max Automotive for maintenance and repairs for the past 5 years. They're a pleasure to work with, always give us the royal treatment and their integrity and expertise are one of kind. We've had many potential "disasters" with what we thought were major repairs needed but Terry has always found the best way to fix our cars without any of the surprises that other repair shops seem to thrive on. They are honest, trustworthy and do a fantastic job while making the customer feel special. I highly recommend them and know they will do the same for you!!

The staff is very friendly, and the prices are fair, they break everything down for you so you are clear what you are paying for. As a female going to a mechanic can be very frustrating because they try to upset you so much extra stuff that you don't need. That was not my experience here, they fixed what I asked to be fixed and only repaired what actually need to be done. I will definitely be back if I need anything done to my car.. great experience.

Recently, I had a female family member ask for a mechanic and I couldn t recommend these folks unfortunately. My car had already been to other mechanics so I knew what 2 other places said but we wanted a closer place to our home, something family owned and hopefully a better price. Regarding price, it wasn t better than a Mieneke for example. It was when the repair plan changed and I expressed a desire to have my husband brought in on the plan because he knows much more about mechanical car issues than I do and I knew that I wouldn t be able to adequately answer his questions anyway, and that s where things apparently went wrong. The lady said great idea please have your husband call- so I did. My husband called me 10 minutes later after he spoke to the mechanic and said he liked the place and he told them to go ahead with the repairs and they told him it should only take 3 hrs and to have me call later on so I could pick up the car. I did as instructed and when I called expecting that my car would be ready I was told that my car wasn t worked on at all because of my lack of trust in the mechanic and that it was unprofessional to have my husband call. I was shocked and upset because they said yes to speaking with my husband and kept my car without decency to call and not have me waste my time that day. I asked the woman I spoke with if my husband was rude or what happened to cause this result. She said no he was perfectly polite but the only reason she gave was that the mechanic said he asked too many questions and that they don t work with people who don t trust them. My husband was also shocked when I told him this had happened because he thought the call went well. Trust is a process. A customer doesn t just show up and hand over their car to be fixed without asking a few questions about the plan. Overall, I think things happen for a reason so I m thankful we didn t go down a path with someone who would treat us this way. This experience made me feel bad and put down because it was like I got scolded for having my husband help me and that s not right. I felt totally uneasy and it still shocks me. I can t recommend them to any women who ask me my opinion. I gave 2 stars because benefit of the doubt, maybe their work is sound. I m sure I ll be met with we think you made a mistake we can t find record of you anywhere or something the like, but there is nothing to be done except work on people skills and not repeat what happened with me to other customers. Maybe it was an off day for them, again that s why they get 2 stars not 1.

My car was dead. They came out within 15 minutes, jump started me and serviced me right away when I arrived at their facilities. They perform normal maintenance activities and install the new battery. The total time spent on this whole activity was less than 2 hours. I've had similar service with this company in the past. Best place in town for car maintenance!

Came to this place based on reviews for an oil change. It is definitely 5 star worthy! Everyone is very nice and informative. Was told by another shop I needed to have about 800 dollars work done on my vehicle, well guess what, Terry said I didn t need to have it done and wasn t even close to needing it done. So glad I came here and will continue coming here for our family car care needs. Thanks Max Automotive!

Max Automotive was recommended to me by friends. I have been going here for some time now and these people are extremely competent, accommodating, professional and they care about their customers. Terry and his family are the real deal folks. If you want an honest auto service to do business with they would be a good fit for you. If you want someone to treat you like family then they are a great fit for you.Do yourself a favor, take the time to stop by and meet them. Talk to them and go over your needs. I love this place! I drive 35 minutes to bring my car to them for everything. The most trustworthy, kind, and helpful mechanic shop I have ever been to. Been going to them since I moved to Arizona, and I won't go anywhere else! I refer everyone to them as well! Plus, who doesn't love when dogs are in the waiting room?
