I went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and tire pressure light.I was called and told that I needed a new battery since it was showing a low charge. I replaced the battery two years ago. When I went to pick up my car, the papework indicated that battery showed 82% charge (that is not a low battery). Likewise, tires were not rotated nor was the tire pressure light addressed. I was told that is was all done! Too bad that you can't trust anyone anymore. I will not be taking my car there ever again.

We needed our 2016 Audi A3 fixed and they beat every estimate I got, offered warranty on what was fixed and were very fast and responsive. Good customer service and we re open and honest. Highly recommend.

Called on Tuesday (1/9/24) Mark told me they were busy and to bring it in on Thursday (1/11/24), no problem. I bring my truck in for them to diagnose a fan switch issue (Joe s auto repaired the issue previously and the issue started up again). Brought it in at 9:30 am on Thursday as instructed. I was told by Mark they were running a couple hours behind and he d give me a call once they looked at the issue. Approximately 2:30 pm I call the shop (cause no one has called me yet) Mark says it will be a couple more hours until they can look at it. I should have known what was about to happen next. 5:58 PM I call the shop, mark says hey, sorry bud, we were busy and didn t get a chance to look at it, we will look at it tomorrow morning. So . No one was gonna call me and tell me my truck was going to need to stay overnight? I then told Mark I was gonna come pick it up because it s our only vehicle, I d be getting an Uber and get on my way. He says how long? I m about to leave I said as soon as an Uber can get me, maybe 30 minutes til I get to the shop, he says ok, I ll see you when you get here . Calls me back 5 minutes later to let me know he needs to get across town and will leave my car keys under the wheel well. Worst customer service I have had in awhile. Hopefully it s a one-off instance, but this was pretty terrible in my opinion. If the part wasn t under warranty, I would have just gone to Sun Devil.

joe's auto is amazing. They are courteous there up front and give you an estimate of what is needed. They only do what you approve,they explain what is needed now and what you can come back to get done later.

All I can say is that Joes Auto saved me and my car. The car was really smoking a lot. I just made it to their shop right before closing. I could not have been treated with more respect or kindness. Mark and his mechanic ( who was also wonderful) had to push the car into the stall. By 11:00 am the next day, they found the problem and fixed it and I was very happy with their service. And, yes, I am a senior citizen woman. I would never take my car anywhere else. (Gail Brinton)

I highly recommend Joe s Auto! I m an elderly woman with very little understanding of car issues. Jeremy patiently explained what the problems were and what needed to be done. I feel he was totally honest and plan to use them for any other car problems that may arise.

The guys at Joes Auto Shop were awesome! The commutation and transparency were 10/10 and they got my vehicle in and out in a timely manner. I highly recommend checking them out for any of your auto repair needs!

Oh my....Took my car in for new shocks, it rumbled and rattled worse after the new ones got installed. It sounded like the shocks had not been tightened down. Looking underneath The lower shock mount looked odd, I could slide it back and forth. So I took the car back to them. They didnt seem surprised that I was back. When I came back to retrieve the car they called me to take a look at what they found. I was informed they found nothing wrong with the shocks, but, they pointed out the CV axel would slide back and forth in the differential. They told me the whole differential would need to be replaced. I did notice however that bushings had been installed in the shocks. So I took the car home to ponder the differential problem. The car didn't have any of the rattle or rumble anymore by the way. Researching the differential, I confirmed that the axels do indeed float in the differential to accommodate the movement of the suspension. There is nothing wrong with differential at all.I don't know if they were spoofing me, or if they were covering for a simple mistake. Or just trying to con me out of several thousand dollars. But they will not ever get another opportunity from me.

Every time I go to joes Auto shop Im assured an honest outcome of the needs of my car they don't scam or try to make a buck off me the mechanic tells you just what the problem is they,er very professional fast and Reliable give the a shot you won't regret and the prices and very affordable waiting room and restroom are clean staff is very friendly I'm having work done at this printing

We bought a car for our son that needed to pass emissions. Joe's auto is who we chose. They were very professional and only charged exactly what they said and they also searched the valley for parts they needed. Finally after about a week give or take a couple of days. They fixed the car and took it through emissions. As of today the car is totally registered and on the road legally. Thank you very much Joe's Auto we appreciate you and your work.We would recommend this place of business to our friends and family.Three business manager at the Surprise location is Mark. He will be honest and up front with you and your needs. I recommend you speak with him.

ZERO STARS! ZERO STARS! WARNING TO SENIORS WHO DO NOT KNOW ABOUT AUTO REPAIR!!!When I walked in I overheard another senior having a terrible time with his service. This was an omen I should have listened to, in addition to the fact that the shop was virtually empty, that should speak for itself. I feel so stupid and ashamed that I feel I was lied to, cheated and fooled. I received no written estimate or written statement of work to be done, all verbal, so that way later it was easy for the manager there to deny what he promised, I felt gaslighted and barked at in such an unprofessional and rude manner. My advice is , if you do not want to walk out of there feeling ashamed and fleeced like I was, then stay away.UPDATE-------------------------------------------------Service Advisor , Mark P. , at Joes Auto Surprise...you were so unprofessional and rude towards my questions about the bill, even resorted to the most sophomoric and clownish antics. Yelling, taking my keys away implying you are holding my car hostage so that I do not steal it, walking out of the room and telling me you are done arguing and to call you when I am ready to pay, taking money out of your wallet and saying you will call your kids to see if its ok that you pay my taxes!! Totally clown-like antics.The taxes were only about $68, I would have gladly paid $1268 instead of $1501!!! Of course I signed the invoice, I paid with a credit card in order to release my car from your hostage taking. I am ashamed that I allowed myself to suffer such an experience of gaslighting being taken advantage of and I feel completely cheated out of a fair amount of money.I took in a 2006 Hyundai Tucson, 6 cylinder.I told you I was not sure I wanted to invest in repairing the car if the cost was too much. You said it would be $1200, that's it, and of course to a customer, that implies Out the Door price so that I can make a decision... You later said that you said "1200 plus tax"...which is absolutely not true, I can swear in Jesus' name.I absolutely never retracted or tried to retract approval for work as you say,...yet another absolute misrepresentation of what happened. I swear on the Holy Ghost that this is true.In your quote, you said (verbally, of course) that the timing belt change also included a new water pump, yet the invoice only lists that a timing belt, (no water pump) was installed. This is basic, fundamental, good practice to replace the water pump when the timing belt is replaced. In your supposedly detailed invoice you do not state that a water pump kit was used, nor how many actual hours of labor were used and at what hourly rate, so $676 for labor , which was all very quickly done , is hardly justified. The cost of the timing belt you list is $569 for what should be a $120 dollar part. Or, basically, you CHARGED me for a water pump kit, and the extra labor, but you apparently did not put one in (no mention of it on invoice, and NO TRUST from me that you actually did it)(I have the invoice if anybody wants to look at it for proof!!!)Of course you do not provide receipts of how much the parts cost you or what you purchased. I suspect you figured the water pump on the car was good enough and you only installed the timing belt. Then you charge a 5% Shop Supplies fee on the total invoice , a total of $71....really? No $15 or $20 max limit on general shop supplies huh? Of course not!So the cost went from $1200 to over $1500...and that is WITHOUT A WATER PUMP kit installed ! How is that fair???I think you should really be ashamed of yourself.I plan to complain to the Better Business Bureau so that my very legitimate complaint is heard.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the place to go! Outstanding customer service & excellent service. Got an estimate of $1700 from a major auto chain to fix my AC. Brought it to Joe's for a 2nd opinion. They fixed it for $60! I had my vehicle towed to a place near Joe's in Surprise, and after a full day and it having not even been looked at, I called Joe's and spoke to Mark. Mark said he would get it in and looked at. I had it towed less than 1 mile, and I am so glad I did. Mark was very communicative, and stuck to his word. I was on the road again the next afternoon as promised, and the price was fair.Mark was great to deal with, and Joe's now has the business for my company's entire fleet. I was so happy to see they have locations around the valley, so all of my trucks all over town can be serviced!My new go-to mechanic, and Mark is the reason I will be bringing all of my business here!Services: Auto water leak repair, Engine repair

Cool and professional guys but definitely wasn t worth choosing this shop wasted time and some money to still not know what s going on with the car. - UPDATE - Mark stated we don t have the resources to fix this issue but we can refer you to another shop it was never about budget and time it didn t have the issue of not clicking and turning over before hand now that it out of your shop there s another issue on top of the original issue. Before I went into the shop mark also stated it should work and drive it s all good yet the car still isn t running! No point in making it seem like it was self doing , just state you don t want to work on the car because your technicians can t figure it out.

My first time using this shop and It will be my go to shop from now on the manager mark is a great dude the staff seemed nice and like they posses a family environment. Mark is a straight up honest guy. If he tells you your car will be done in an hour, you will get it back in 50 minutes. He always repairs what he says, the right time every time. It is the only place I take my trucks.

I first used this shop to get some brakes done on my 2003 saturn ion. They were very transparent with Mr on what needed to be done and the price was fair.I have also used to for looking over two cars that I bought and thanks to their extensive inspection I ended up returning one car to the dealership because Joe's found it to be a safety hazard.I have another car that needs a lot of work and plan on having them do the work. I flew to Sun City from out of state to settle my deceased father s affairs and needed his car for transportation. The engine warning light was on, so I took the car to AutoZone where I learned there was a problem with the thermostat. AutoZone recommended Joe s Auto Repair of Surprise for the repair. I needed a quick turnaround because I would be leaving in a few days. Mark was friendly and accommodating. He worked my car in the shop schedule so I could drive it without worrying about the engine overheating. I was very impressed with the service I received! Highly recommended.Service: Engine repair
