Has had my car for two weeks now and haven't gotten back to me on what's going on for my transmission. Not only shooting me in the foot due to lack of transportation but time. But told me what the exact issue was And we're honest with me

Don't even bother going here. Worst shop by far ran by morons had a complete rebuild done and when a get the car back a week later the driveshaft fell out while diving the reason is because these idiots didn't even properly torque the bolts on my driveshaft and it unbolted while driving. The rebuild quality is terrible the transmission they rebuilt transmission slips every time I drive. This place is ran by children who cannot fix vehicles your better off lighting 4 grand on fire than paying this idiots

Took my vehicle to AAMCO when my car wouldn t accelerate. Ron was very friendly and provided me updates on the status of my car s diagnosis. He explained exactly what was wrong with the car and advised me on what to do to resolve the issues. I would definitely recommend this AAMCO location to others and would take the car back.

Please avoid this place how ever you can , I got a full transmission rebuild left my truck for 3 week with them, cost me almost 5000$ came to pick it up there was a transmission fluid leak again and they will over charge you for unnecessary repairs, please don't ever trust this people. And the manager Ron is the fake person ever he seemed nice at first he even will offer you free towing ( which is not free) but as soon as you refuse and extra service on your car he's true side come out and act crazy.

WARNING READ THIS FIRST Ron the Manager of AAMCO @Grand ave/134th Dr & Bell Rd. seemed like an upfront guy at first, but once he had possession of my car then the Demon came out.I took my car in too learn that an $800 dollar "Valve Body Job" would most likely solve my problem. After which it had sat at the shop for three weeks before they even started working on it. I had called them and went in several times to request an ETA to no avail. At one time he was boldened enough to tell me "what do you expect the car is broken". On the third week I received a call from Ron that they will have my car ready before COB that day. Ron proceeded to tell me that he needed to find a receipt of an additional part that my car needed and that he would add that to the cost of my bill. When I arrived to get my car out I viewed the bill (which was just a hair under a $1000 dollars). The additional part was listed on the bill. I then asked to see the receipt for that part in which he previously claimed he had to find before adding it to my bill. He then got belligerent with me. While he was briefly in the process of searching for the receipt that he ultimately couldn't come up with. He was then quite perturbed and decided that he would not take any of my credit cards and insisted that I pay cash. He then instructed his guys to impound my car in a brick wall storage yard that was just across to the front of his office. Nonetheless it took me several weeks before I could raise the cash to get my oiled stained dirt ridden car out. To my worst nightmare, after paying close to $1000 my car still has the same problem as before. Warranty or not do I dare take my car back to them to honor that warranty to loose it for another month or possibly have another $1000 bill? What's so obvious is if you've ever been to this AAMCO shop it looks like a salvage yard with what appears to be abandoned dirt ridden cars strewn up and down the lot, to a point where it doesn't afford any parking space. You can verify that on google map. I guess I'm not the only one to have had my car impounded by Ron's mischievous acts of terror.WARNING TO THE WISE - Don't get caught in Ron's trap Said the Spider to the Fly.I'll see you in COURT Ron!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------HERE IS MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER!!WARNING...DON'T BE FOOLED!!HERE IS ANOTHER REVIEW I FOUND IN YELP BY ANOTHER RECIPIENTThis AAMCO Transmission Shop @Grand Ave/ 134th Dr. & Bell Rd. is run by a Manager Named "Ron Krzyzewski"If you haven't noticed in their website REVIEWS. Most of the positive reviews are FALSELY MANIFESTED. If you notice these positive reviews have multiple review counts against them. This is a misleading attempt to boost their favorable ratings and mask their true assessment. You can view a more accurate rating for this shop at "YELP SURPRISE". YELP will give you a true assessment of Ron's despicable acts on unsuspecting customer's. In Addition, if you also haven't noticed at their WEBSITE PAGE the reviews are self generated by them and theiris no way of adding a review at this site. So all you see is their self generating positive reviews which gives unsuspecting customers a false narrative of their actual performance.Service: Transmission

Worst place to take your car! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! They had our car for 9 weeks! We just brought it to willheim and found out that the transmission is shot, leaking fluid like a faucet, and rags were stuffed under the crossbeam to hide the fluid that was leaking! Proving they knew it was still leaking when they gave it back to us! We spent $4100 on nothing except a waste of time and a major headache!

Love this place everyone is so very helpful and understanding to your needs. Ron was main point of contact and I must say he is an amazing guy, he went above and beyond for me, he is the main reason I will be recommending this company over and over again. If you need service and wanting to be treated properly, GO see RON and the staff. They won't disappoint!!!(if I could I give this company a higher star rating) x Service: Transmission

Great group of people, as fast as can be in the times we live in. Very kind and informative about what is going on with your vehicle. Best of all they gave me a fair price, broke down the price of each repair and the total. Then gave me the option on which route I wanted to go. They weren't pushy or judgemental. Thanks again. I will definitely come back and bring more business!

Got a filter set from Amazon, had done about 5 times before for different vehicles, and found one of the two filters was bad. Took it ot Aamco, expecting the worst, the guy behind the counter( I believe the owner), was like it is a possibility, but lets start simple first. The first day called to let me know they diagnosed, need permission to proceed with the transmission service, and see if that fixes it. Called later that day to say it is working as should and looks good . We did discuss that it still needs to be run for a while to make sure, but they have definitely earned my trust.

This place came as a recommendation from another shop, and despite reading all of the bad reviews, I'm happy I brought my daughter's car here.Aamco got the car in same day, diagnosed the issues quickly, and kept up with consistent communication. The information Ron relayed was very up front, detailed, and easy to understand.

Rushed work, poor customer service, defensive stance from the beginning when approached about the issue(s). Humans make mistakes, but there was no ownership on the companies' part. If you pay $3000 for a repair, it's expected that the transmission would be in tip top shape and put back together correctly. This was not the case in our experience with them. I would recommend to AVOID THIS SHOP!

I'd stay as far away from this place as possible. I've used other maaco shops in the past with great service. Not this one. I took my transmission in for a bench build. The owner assured me that he build it right. Not crappily paint it covering the seals and gaskets. He assured me my quote wouldn't be any more than 150% different. And that they would back their product for two years. He not only charged me 31% more than he quoted, but used dollar store paint to paint it. Even though I specified a paint I needed. They didn't even wash it before tearing it down, building it and painting it. When I called him about it since he was not there he said when they slow up he could take a look. Why would I want you to work on it again? You should have done it right the first time. Luckily some soap and water washed the Crayola paint off, and with some scrubbing and new seals it is correct now. Get a new day job. You lost a long time customer.

Dishonest company. Brought in our vehicle because our transmission is not shifting and makes a very loud noise when accelerating. We told them this. Mechanic told front desk that it runs perfect and there is nothing wrong with it at all. Said they drove it multiple times at length. First and foremost we have on camera every time they turn the car on to drive it. First lie- it was not driven at length. Second lie it s perfectly fine - we have on camera our car doing exactly what we told them it was doing. You can hear/see plain as day him over Revving it and it not shifting. Receptionist only defended mechanic, stating he wouldn t tell her something if it weren t the truth. She also said he checked all fluids, if this were the case he would have seen our transmission fluid was low and it would have been notated. Receptionist, although kind, did nothing but defend the mechanic and his lies. Everything that was done with our car is on camera. I explained that he may have verbally told her one thing, but it completely contradicts what we have on camera, and he in fact was lying. Drove our car home- same issue is still present with our vehicle as it was when we dropped it off.Service: Transmission

I can share with anyone the email I sent to Aamco 14 months ago, after I picked up my vehicle from them, that is yet to be answered. The work wasn t done right the first time and took 2 weeks. The vehicle broke down as my family and I were attempting to go on vacation. As a result the trip was over. They never offered a loaner/rental reimbursement, but they did offer a refund that they would handle later , because they knew this was my only car. They brought it back and took even longer the second time to fix it. They were just as terrible with follow up throughout the entire process. I had to stay on them. They would always make new excuses but also told me flat out more that once I wasn t the priority. Even though the second time, I was there under their warranty because of their work. Also, The lot was broken into and my catalytic converter was stolen. They said they sent it to a reputable shop for that repair but it was a total hack job. Never saw that ro/receipt. The vehicle is currently about to throw multiple codes because of this exhaust job that Aamco did. I had no clue how bad they did here either. A recent trip to a Penske dealership found this issue while the vehicle was in for a flashing transmission light. That s right! My transmission just 14 months later is already losing pressure in 4th gear. Aamco can t fix anything. They even break things that are working. Lastly, they damaged the body of my vehicle for the months that it was there too. The cars are packed on this lot. No notification of that damage, no response to a 14 month old email or the follow email a week later, no promised refund, and ultimately no transmission fix. Stay away from Aamco!Services: Transmission, Exhaust

Called to get a quote for a simple transmission fluid and filter change. They insisted that the vehicle had to be brought in first to "see what it needed." I told them there were no issues with the vehicle, but due to miles I wanted to do some preventive maintenance. So I again asked for a quote for the specific straight forward routine service and again was told that the car need to be analyzed to see what it needed. Sounds like they just want to get you in there to "discover" issues that need repair. Yeah, right. I would not trust these folks at all since they can't seem to be straight up regarding a routine service. Run away!

If you have a 2017, or any other 2012 and later model Ford focus with a dual clutch type of transmission, this is the place to get it rebuilt. They rebuilt our transmission for about half the cost as the Surprise Ford dealership wanted. Their workmanship is fabulous and our car drives like it was new now. There are knowledge of the dual clutch and also powershift transmission is very good.Service: Transmission

Took my 94 Chevy here due to a old transmission. Recommend by my friend who had his transmission repaired about a year previous. Ron and his crew did an amazing job. Got a new transmission and it's like butter. They looked over the whole vehicle and let me know what it needed asap and what could wait. I will take my vehicles here as long as Ron is there. Thank you so much for your help Ron! All these people on here badmouthing him have no idea what it takes to fix a vehicle. Cheap work ain't good work, good work ain't cheap work. Remember that next time you want a 1200$ transmission. Keep doing what you guys are doing.

We don t schedule sick days. Why would you say that to a potential customer? I came to see Ron. He wasn t there. I find this happens a lot. When I come in to see someone, they are sick or not there. My disappointment is validated and not personal. So I asked if someone could still look at my car since I came from Phoenix and looking for good service. After coming all the way to meet someone for help, being told this didn t make me want to stay. Thanks anyway Ron, who was helpful over the phone. I will keep looking.

Went in to get a free vehicle courtesy check on My Lincoln Continental. Turned out the transmission needed to be rebuilt. Ron the Manager was great and gave me a great price to do the work plus gave me a great warranty. I was really concerned because I really couldn't afford the cost to repair my vehicle but Ron got me financing for the repair. These guys are great and I recommend this shop to everyone thanks Ron.

Ron needs help, he's always there and is an honest and transparent manager.I don't like their distributor, they sent the wrong part and sent the part two days late. I have mentioned to both the manager and the GM that they should change distributors. Which isn't easy but whatever. This staff is respectful, the place is clean and other than parts everything was done in a timely manner.I shouldn't need to go back because my transmission was rebuilt.I was thinking of having them look at my brakes.

Please don't make the same mistake I did and bring your car here. They will lie to you for months while they hold your car hostage. Stay far away from here or you will absolutely regret it 1000%

I am a few months overdue to share this review. Ron and his crew took care of my auto needs with my Chevy Impala after having been completely mistreated at the local Peoria Chevy dealer. Ron ensured that my questions were answered, was timely with the repair, and reassured me that he can assist me in the future. I was very satisfied and will definitely return. Thanks Ron!

We took our Jeep into Surprise Transmission LLC (AAMCO) to work on our transmission. This was our first time working with this facility. The manager, Ron Krzyzewski, made us feel comfortable and even though he was extremely busy, he took the time to talk with us to throughly understand our problem. We had some additional problems with the transmission which were covered under their warranty. Even though it was warranty related, Ron still took the time to help us. The transmission is working great now. With the trust we had in Ron, we also had them do additional repairs to our Jeep. The Jeep is like new now! Ron is professional, knowledgeable, and no matter how busy he is takes the needed time with each customer. The entire staff are friendly and perform quality work. We highly recommend this facility for all of your vehicle repairs.

This is the spot I take all my vehicles to. The Manager Ron is a wonderful mechanic and is honest about what needs to be fixed. He doesn't try to pull any tricks. I wish the company would give this man a larger location. It would help him get things done faster and be able to hire a larger team.
