Simple, no fuss campground. Got quick responses via email and coordinated a self check in and money drop. Bathroom and laundry facility are clean but since it s single use you can have a wait.

It was a good place to overnight, I was here for two days, I was here an extra day because I had an issue with my truck I was quickly able to fix. The only reason for 4 stars is because the second night it filled up, a couple of the campers were a little on the loud side, one parked next to me in a strange angle and there generator noise was going right into my RV bedroom , if they had parked like everyone else the exhaust of said generator would not have been pointed at us. This may have been an isolated incident? We are on our way home after wintering in Quartzite with the tens of thousands of boon docking going on there we never had that problem? That's just my experience probably not typical.

First class service!Chris is so friendly and welcoming! We stayed here for about 2 months and would be happy to stay again anytime we are in the area. You are far enough out of town to stay away from hustle and bustle but close enough to make grocery runs. Surrounded by mountains, there are plenty of outdoor activities. He has propane on site and is happy to assist you. Tons of room to throw the ball for your dog. We did use the washer and dryer for bulkier items, and they worked wonderful. 10/10 recommend staying here

This property is simple, but oh so sensational. How great to have land to stretch a bit instead of rows of neighbors. We camped as a group of 5 camper rigs for 3 nights, and were totally wowed by the expansive views and wildlife sounds at night. Nice shower and laundry up near the ranch house too. We really enjoyed the bar & grill in town one afternoon. Don't skip that. Thank you for sharing your ranch.

Enjoyed our stay at the Bar 8 Ranch in Superior AZ. It was everything we were looking for, quiet, peaceful and right in town. Owners were great. We would definitely stay there again!

Very quiet. Never met the actual owner but arranged things over the phone. When I forgot to drop my payment into his box, he was very kind and allowed me to pay electronically. Site was close to level.

Love it there , peaceful, and the horses and donkey were friendly enough to pet. We came there through harvest host and the people from the ranch didn't charge us, and we we're able to stay two nights, thank goodness cause I had an ear infection. Oh and they helped us with water too.

We are staying here for 2 nights with our RV. It's our first night here and have had a great experience so far. We hung out with the owners Chris and Tracy (and their sweet doggies) and they were super cool people. Very hospitable and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait to hang with then again tomorrow night.

I would give this place more stars because the owners are super, however .. Dryer doesn t do a great job, laundry room is moldy, and, for some reason, people can t be bothered to clean up after their dogs (which is both LAZY and disrespectful).The offending dryer is the stacked one.While I understand there s only so much that can be done regarding people s pet messes, claiming you try and stay on top of it while your large, white dog is NEVER on a leash (coupled with your comments about how your dog knows he owns the place) doesn t indicate at ALL that you re anything other than a major part of the issue. Your reluctance to take responsibility for your dog is the reason you re losing the third star.

My wife and I stayed recently while bicycle touring AZ. Chris is an excellent host, made us feel very welcome and at home. Big grassy open area for tent campers, and a pretty cool fire pit complete with all the firewood that one could possibly need. Beautiful redrock scenery in the background mountains as the sun went down. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay; a great spot for cycle tourists (and anyone else) looking for a relaxing, peaceful rest.

If you are looking for a small, quiet campground with an easy going atmosphere then this is a great place! We chose to stay in our RV in an open field near the horses with great mountain views. You can park wherever you want and if you need full hook-ups, there are designated sites for that too. There are some nice hikes in the Superior area, Picketpost Mountain being one of them.

Loved this quiet, beautiful Harvest Host. Close to town but peaceful. Great communication. Has a great Saloon in town, tasty burgers and cold beer!

We found this wonderful hidden gem on airbnb and what a pleasant surprise! Chris and Traci were amazing hosts. We choose to layout under the stars and for being so close to the city they were shining brightly.

Cons: For RV dump and fill, MUST call ahead to check if a dump station is open. You have to back into an actual RV site to dump. Tow vehicles must be detached.Pros:. Dump and fill are $5 each, very affordable. Facility is very clean and quiet. Facility is a family ranch. Folks are friendly. Dry camp and FHU are available.

What a great place to stay! We spent the night in our RV by the pine trees, and had great views all around. Couldn t have asked for a nicer stay.

Booked two months, wish I would have done four. It's quiet and peaceful with no micromanaging, love listening to the coyotes in the evenings....I'll be back!

Quite place to be. Daily weekly and monthly rates. Owners live on site and are nice and helpful. On-site propane tank refilling. Nice place to escape the city.

One of the owners, Tracy was extremely nice and offered us the opportunity to stay at Box 8 even though they were technically closed that night. I would gladly stay if I were passing through Superior again!
