The trek to Beaver Falls is not for the faint of heart, since there are several tricky descents that require using chains, ladders, and propped timbers (some anchored, some not) to allow for passage, but it is an absolutely magnificent sight to behold. Permits via the Havasupai Tribe website are needed to visit this area if trekking through Supai, and it requires a hike of around 12.5 miles from the Hualapai Hilltop trailhead to reach this location (although it can also be reached the other direction, from the confluence). Descending via Mooney Falls, visitors will cross the creek at least three times to reach Beaver, and most choose to climb about the terraced falls area upon arrival. Unrivaled natural beauty Havasu Canyon at its best!

Make sure you swim up and down the creek around this waterfall. So much to see. There is a little cave behind the main falls at beaver. Further down creek of beaver is a 30-40ft jump spot. Deep enough for all your wild tricks.

This place was a hidden gem. It's mostly flat to get there with a few "obstacle courses" along the way that included some ladder climbing and scrambling. But nothing too intense if you made it down Mooney Falls. The bright blue-green water in person was just surreal.

Falls upon falls upon falls! This place is truly majestic! The 3 mile hike to the falls is breathtaking in itself (and not from difficulty!) Well unless you re afraid of heights or caves (you have to get down Mooney before getting on the trail.) Be sure to grab a pair of the shared gloves on your way down Mooney (you ll need them for the wet rope chains!)The trail starts out on the same side of the canyon but there are several places where you ll need to cross the river and some aren t very well marked. There s usually a hiker or 2 that s been before that will help you find your way.Be sure to bring water shoes! I wore my Keens and they were perfect. Others had regular water shoes and said they got less blisters when they wore socks. My hubby changed from flip flops to dry hiking shoes several times to keep his feet dry. The water is at times waist high so be prepared to get wet! The water stays about 70 degrees all year long but boy is that cold in the fall. It s a numbing cold that s kind of refreshing though! It s all worth it for the scenery at Beaver! We would ve loved to hike to the Confluence - next time for sure!We hiked down to Mooney around 9am (only 15 minutes without a line.) We leisurely hiked to Beaver, taking many pics along the way (including pics of the bighorn sheep! See pics for the baby!) and we arrived to Beaver around 11am. There are plenty of picnic tables throughout the trail so bring a snack or enjoy lunch in the outdoors. We made it back to Mooney before 4pm and had to wait a while to hike back up because of a line of hikers coming down (maybe to take night photography? Or get that one last pic before heading home?)This place is packed with adventure & beauty! Make the trip!Hope this was helpful :)

Beaver Falls was a nice hike.. jumping to water crossing mutliple times was fun. Make sure hands free to get there. Few area were ladders so climbing it is. It was fun while it lasted. The water was so incredible. The color was just amazing. I love the little table at the top. Pretty cool and relaxing place. My friend and I enjoyed the whole place. We love this place. Hope we can go for it next year again. Since the reservation is really tough to get the summer time.

Amazing beautiful. The hike was nice and gradual. Some of the ladders to get there were a little sketchy.

Water is very cold. Watch your step here. I still prefer Mooney. Hike is long and make sure you start the hike from the Mooney ladders, not the island side.

Definitely worth the trek down to Beaver Falls. It takes some skill to navigate ladders in the terrain and you definitely should have 2 hands available. Most people left their walking sticks at camp.

Accolades simply don't do this falls justice. It was by far my favorite on Havasu Creek. First, watch out for circulating currents under the falls and second be advised that there are 2 approaches from the north. I missed that and regret not coming back on the second one.

Beaver Falls is another waterfall located in the Havasupai Indian Reservation in the Grand Canyon, Arizona. It is downstream from Mooney Falls, and is known for its cascading tiers and turquoise pools. To get to Beaver Falls, visitors typically need to hike for several miles along Havasu Creek, passing by other waterfalls and notable landmarks along the way. The hike can be challenging at times, particularly in areas where the trail is narrow or requires crossing the creek. However, the natural beauty of the area, including the lush vegetation, colorful rock formations, and crystal-clear water, make it a popular destination for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Beautiful tiered waterfall. The path here is longer than they tell you. Its about 3.5 miles each way rather than 2 each way with a few river crossings. You'll want to leave the campsite relatively early to get here so you still have enough sun to hang out for a few hours.

A fantastic hike, can be strenuous and good shoes required. Also if leaving from Supai village remember to take good and plenty of water. The views on the way are spectacular.

Astonishing. The whole area needs a long stay to watch the various falls from different views. A must to see if you are in the area.

Worth the extra mileage to get there. Gorgeous falls. Places to jump. Again, crowded on the weekend.

It's peak time for tourist season and so there are ton of visitors who come to Beaver Falls. I've seen the place with many tourists and with no tourists. The place is gorgeous either way, but tourists like to try and claim spots in the area which can get a little annoying. But, if you just remember to enjoy nature and the water and scenery, it's a definite must visit.

The farthest of the main falls of Havasupai, Beaver falls can also be the one of the funnest places. The larger falls, Havasu and Mooney, are awesome and majestic. But they are too big and powerful to swim close to them. Beaver Falls, on the other hand, is a series of smaller falls and pools, perfect for swimming, jumping, and diving. The hike from the campground to Beaver Falls is about 3 miles each way. It's mostly easy trails, but there are a few areas where you will have to climb up or down some steep cliffs with the help of ropes and/or ladders. It's not difficult for most people, but be aware if you have any physical limitations. There are also a few places you have to cross Havasu Creek, so bring good water shoes.

This hike takes some effort- it's an hour or two from Mooney depending on how fast you can hike and how careful you are when crossing the creek. Once you're there, the effort is worth it. The falls are so beautiful and there is plenty of space for swimming!

The 2hr hike to Beaver Falls from the havasupai campground is fantastic. The initial trail is somewhat flat, with some undulating terrain. You will need to wade through water three times - water friendly hiking shoes will be extremely helpful as the riverbed has gravel. The water will reach high above your thighs/quada. Many people wore their hiking boots from the campground to Mooney Falls, then switched to their Teva/Chaco sandals for the hike to Beaver Falls. Note that there is a steep climb to get to the top of the falls which becomes a bit of a traffic jam. I advise people to arrive at Beaver falls before noon to avoid the crowds.

Beaver Falls is arguably the fifth set of falls, although many claim that it is not a waterfall, but merely a set of small falls that are located close to each other. The falls are located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) downstream of Supai, and are the most difficult to access. After the descent to Mooney Falls, a visible trail leads downstream.About .25 miles (0.40 km) down, a small stream feeds into the creek, over the side of the cliff, effectively creating a place to shower. The trail leads to the right towards the creek, then back towards Mooney Falls to get to this mini-waterfall.The next 3 4 miles are remote and rugged. The trail is not always easy to follow and requires multiple crossings of the creek. At one point, after a large, oddly out of place palm tree, a rope had been placed for climbing a rock wall in order to further traverse the trail down the canyon. It should be noted that this has now been replaced with a much more navigable ladder.Farther downstream, a rock chute/slide provides one access to Beaver Falls. Easier access is further along, just before the trail turns north to continue down the canyon. River rafters have beaten a path to the ledges where they jump. Turning upstream from here, it is possible to gradually get to the creek bed and follow it further upstream to the falls. The pools here are small, but still offer good swimming. Please visit , it s worth of visiting. Please note there will be no network connectivity & this place is remote so better prepare well before visiting.Beware of rattle snakes on the way, keep an eye always on the path..

The falls are dwarfed by mooney and havasu... nevertheless beautiful... the hike is also interesting with 3 river crossings through water... you see several rocks of different colors from earlier... good places for rock climbing (havasu authority advices against and definately no during monsoons)... make sure to begin back to camping grounds with sufficient day light

Great looking falls. I would say the least impressive in my own opinion; however, glad I hiked to them.
