Looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic can be a daunting task. Many people have had negative experiences with mechanics who didn't do a good job or charged unfair prices. Thankfully, the Internet has made it easier for me to find car mechanics who are skilled and offer fair pricing.If you're in search of an auto shop that is not only friendly and professional but also honest, look no further than Sierra Service Center! My experience with their team was over a 3 day period and I found the mechanics are are full of integrity and expertise.Let me share a personal experience to illustrate the level of service you can expect from them. I brought in my 2002 Mazda Tribute to have the air conditioner replaced. I was worried about the potential cost and dreaded the outcome of the diagnostics test they had to have. Mainly for the reason my mom was footing the bill. However, the diagnosis revealed the true condition of my vehicle and the consequences of delaying certain repairs. Despite my initial concerns about being taken advantage of, I soon realized that the larger estimate was a result of my own negligence. You know that feeling of wanting to show your parent you were accountable and took care of stuff in your life? Well my gut fell to the ground in disappointment in my own self. Reason being my mom was helping me with the expenses. That being said I am so very happy I landed at Sierra Service CenterWhat impressed me the most was the thoroughness of the inspection. I received a detailed printout of each system and the diagnostics of what needed to be done. Matthew, one of the mechanics, took the time to patiently explain the necessary repairs to me and my mom, who have limited knowledge about cars. He went above and beyond to ensure we understood why each service was needed.If you're unsure about where to take your car for repairs, I strongly believe that Sierra Service Center is the right choice for you. They prioritize transparency, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. And after your service is done you ll get a wonderful text from Jay double checking you are happy.Matthew & Jay I want to thank you for going above and beyond to see mom and I were educated and understood what needed to be done.

Worked on my car for over a week, and did an amazing job on my repairs. Mechanics there are awesome.(Update. I needed additional work on the headlights and AC compressor. The track record of good service continues. They have accurate estimates, and they offered free lifts to and from the shop as needed. Great customer care and service!)

Customer service is great and they were fast for me but they charged me so much for just front rotors and brake pads that it really hit me hard . I have an old vehicle where parts should not run that much. They originally quoted me $1200.. I was in a really tough spot and just was thinking about my safety ended up costing 800+ cause I didn t bleed the brakesI know things can be expensive, but this

If 6 stars were an option I would give a 6+ star rating. I was visiting from Gilbert, AZ and needed emergency service before going home. I was greeted by Jimmy and immediately set at ease with his genuine smile and pleasant demeanor. I explained the issues and they did a comprehensive inspection and advised on how to proceed and offered assurance that my concerns could be addressed after returning home. If you need emergency service while visiting the area, look no further.

FANTASTIC service from Scott and his team! I got my car seen after the transmission died and they kept me updated throughout the entire time they had it. It even came out lower in cost than originally anticipated, which was great! Great crew and wonderful service, I could not recommend them enough!

Been a few years and i tried to do a review at the time and the system wasn't working, but in a nutshell, they worked on 3 vehicles and afterward i had problems with all the vehicles. I've limped along with the problems but are finally getting the last of them fixed. Initially my jeep wouldn't start so had it towed there and turned out it was the battery. But, they recommended $2300 worth of work that i had done because I had someone going to use my vehicle. They guaranteed no leaks and it had leaked ever since. Finally took it to brake masters and they asked who had worked on my vehicle because the brake bolts were loose and never tightened and that was my leak. Before I realized I'd been ripped off, I had them work on my 2 old vehicles for a tuneup.They guaranteed that they knew what they were doing. Ever since they had them, for months, the cars have had problems starting and don't run right. Spent thousands of dollars for nothing. Now I have someone else checking it out and it appears sierra service center messed up basically everything they touched. Thousands, thousands of dollars out the window. Haven't been back, never going back.I guess you don't keep very good records then. I tried to do a review and it wouldn't let me post it. We dealt with Ernie, and in fact, he contacted us wanting to know why we hadn't been back, and we explained that we were unhappy with the services and had worse problems with the vehicles since he'd had them. He never said anything about a warranty, and given that we had worse problems after you'd worked on the vehicles, no way were we going back. We have simply warned others by word of mouth.

I had an awesome experience at Sierra auto repair from my first phone call with Scott/Service Mgr. to deliver discuss the issues with my Mazda, Miata MX 5. Scott was courteous and professional. He listened attentively. We verbally discussed the issues I was having with my vehicle security system, and not being able to start my vehicle.I made an appointment to come in to have my vehicle inspected and a diagnostic on the vehicle if required. I was very pleased that the anticipated cost of the repairs were far bellow what I had anticipated . In the past I have been overcharged and taken advantage of when getting my car repaired. I am very pleased to say that if you are someone who doesn t have much experience with a vehicle repair, you can indeed trust Sierra auto repair. They will not overcharge you, Scott will share you the facts of their findings. I was very pleased with the outcome of the repairs of my vehicle. Also, the interaction that I had with everyone on their team was positive, and everyone greeted me with a smile, courtesy and respect. I would, 1,000# recommend Sierra Auto Repair .I was so pleased with the service, that I have other auto repair request that I am going to trust my auto repair with them. If they know what s wrong, they will tell you. if there are test that need to be performed ,they tell you. You will be aware of the cost of any diagnostic test, and get a quote on any repair that need to be performed. There is no surprise, surprise, additional cost to the quote that they give you. You, the customer are made a part of the process from start to finish.Thank you to Scott & Team, for a Stellar Customer Services Experience! I drove to Sierra Vista from Tucson with my grandson on a possible vehicle purchase. We took the truck to Sierra Service Center for a pre-sales inspection. This play is top-notch in my opinion. A VERY detailed report (with photos) of all issues with the vehicle - and at a super reasonable price. Very courteous employees too. I wish they were located in Tucson! If I ever have the need to go to SV again to buy a vehicle, I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Sierra SC!

I cannot say enough about Sierra service. Center.They were so helpful, honest, and so patient so understanding willing to help me in anyway dealing with my insurance company. Update: After seeing the owners poor excuse at attempting to redirect blame, I stand by my statement that the service conducted was NOT explained over the phone, nor was a price given. Only a reference of a price required for the necessary refrigerant (not given due to "needing to do math conversions).Disappointed in the misleading information and lack of straightforward costs given. Was led to believe service would be minimal (AC refrigerant refill) only to find out there was an extra 195 dollar charge added on for something not mentioned over the phone. Will never return here again and will not recommend anyone else to do so either.

Don't be fooled by the friendly, clean exterior, this place will try to squeeze every penny they can from you through exaggerated or outright incorrect diagnoses. People need to be warned how slimy they are. Working with them made my physically ill.I took my SUV in to a) have an oil leak diagnosed and repaired, and b) to get an oil change. The oil change was ~$90, which, having just moved from NY, was acceptable. I found out upon dropping my vehicle off, that the diagnostic would be ~$190. But whatever. I had a new Jasper engine under warranty that would help cover the costs of repair.Their diagnostic was professional enough, appearing to be thorough with pictures and a pdf. I liked that.But they were incorrect.Part of the diagnostic said that I had brakes in such dire condition that they "didn't feel safe" letting me drive away. The man on the phone was "very hesitant" for me to leave. This pressure made me very uncomfortable and I told them I would take it to Brake Masters for a second opinion and a lower estimate.But it was the oil leak diagnostic that ultimately disgusted me. They claimed that both my oil pan and my passenger side valve gaskets were faulty. (Did I mention this was a new engine?) Not only would it cost thousands of dollars to repair, but I'd have to pay for a *second oil change*.Excuse me? They changed my oil without making sure the leak was fixed?While ultimately this was a good thing because I didn't have to have unnecessary work, at the time I was livid that they would even do that. They said, "Well we can waive the second oil change but then you'll have to pay the diagnostic fee." Excuse me again? Waiving the diagnostic fee with the repair was never something I'd been offered, and this tactic only increased my discomfort. I cut my losses, told them I'd pay them for the diagnostic and the oil change, and took my vehicle elsewhere.So how did they end up being wrong about the oil leak diagnosis? For $70, Brake Masters found and tightened the bolts on the valve cover. The valve cover is above the oil pan, so a leak there would drip down and make it appear that both were leaky. They even cleaned the bottom of my engine.But no, Sierra Service Center was more than happy to tear apart the oil pan of my brand new engine to fix things that weren't broken. And charge me for a second oil change. Neither of which were necessary.Other information: I'm the daughter and sister of mechanics. My dad knew the Jasper motor was the best out there and suspected the problem was that the valve cover bolts were loose. Ultimately, my brakes had enough life in them for me to make the 20 hour drive home and replace them with him. I know how to do that now, so yay.Also, Sierra Service Center charges more per hour than the dealership I went to in NY. ~$170. Just so you know. The military rate is ~$152.

Avoid this place like the plague, the service center has asked me to elaborate on my rankingI attempted to have brake pads changed at this location an indicated to the individual that I had purchased brake pads and have them in my possessionThey were more than willing to perform the work, until the individual I was dealing with suggested that I would need rotors also and I said I did not and at that point they were incapable of doing the brake pad replacement unless I bought those through them which it is a NAPA service center, I explained that I had NAPA parts that I had purchased myself at NAPA Sierra Vista but because I was not going to purchase rotors from the Service Center that I didn't need, they no longer had any interest in doing the work I needed oompleted.So in short if I wasn't going to allow them to sell me something that I did not require, they were not going to do any work on my vehicle whatsoever, sounds like a great deal to me, doesn't it to you?

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Work was completed in the time frame promised, at a fair price and with the extensive inspection I appreciate. Rocky at the customer service desk was very helpful and polite. We worked with Ernie last year and were pleased with the customer service and work completed. Ernie has since retired, so our recent experience was not good. It took 6 days to order and replace a water pump and associated hoses, swap out a headlamp, and change the oil. We had even waited 2 days for them to take the truck by appointment! With every status check, the time to complete, parts needed, and cost went up. We don't know where the problem lies with this shop, but clearly they need to train the mechanics and front office in estimating and scheduling. They use automated diagnotic tools so they don't take a thorough look at the scope of work until they get into it. We rented a car from them and they only charged us for 2 days, which was nice; hence two stars. Still, we won't be going back to Sierra Service Center.

I was towing a trailer and having problems and I was 1500 miles from home. I went into their shop thinking I needed a new transmission. They ran some tests and determined I needed a new cooling system for the transmission which was a less expensive repair. They even drove to Tucson to get a part faster than normal. Then, they stayed late to complete the repair and get me back on the road as fast as possible. I was able to get to my next reservation and meet up with my friends and continue my month long road trip. THANK YOU!Service: Transmission repair

This is one of the worse mechanics i have ever been to in my life. If you're a woman beware they will take advantage and overcharge you for below par work. I recently took my car to this mechanic in Nov of 2022 my car started shaking and wouldnt start. I had been to them a few years ago and worked with an older gentleman. He was great had no complaints. So decided to take my new car there in November when i had issues. Had the car towed there thru AAA and informed them i needed a new computer according to Priority. But they insisted on doing their own diagnostics. I was informed i would need more work then $900 for the pc and it would total $4200. But in the end I paid over $4600 they even charged me for the tow from AAA i dont even know how they did it. When I received my car back i could tell they had been personally driving my vehicle they had clothes and jacket in my backseat and the miles. My owners manual was gone they refused to acknowledge taking it or to replace it. The red lightening sign keeps popping up on my dashboard; I have to do a relearn process I found on Youtube at least once a week. My radio doesnt work correctly when I try to turn the station or volume never had that issue before they worked on my vehicle. I called them about it no more than 30 mins after leaving. They said their work doesnt affect the radio, but I was told the pc controls the entire electrical. And now my car is so loud driving on the highway I cant hold a convo on the phone or with a passenger. Im looking into ways to legal action in Arizona, if anyone knows please contact me. But I will never go to this business ever again unless to serve them legal papersService: Car towing

These guys are totally trust worthy and very detailed. I always leave feeling like the work I got done was done correctly. I never have issues with my vehicle. The service is preventive instead of reactionary so if you're looking to stick with a vehicle a long time and get the most out of it, then go with someone you can trust like these guys. They will recommend everything you need done to your vehicle but let you pick and choose what work to have done at that particular time and don't try to pressure you to do it all right then and there (in case you can do some of it yourself or don't wish to spend that much on a given day) which I really appreciate.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I just had some service done on my 2010 Silverado. From the minute I walked in to make an appointment yesterday afternoon, dropped off at 8am, today until all work was done by 2 o'clock this after noon, I was very impressed with Ernie and his crew. In fifty years of driving I have been to a lot of dealers and repair shops. Sierra Service Center is bar none the best!!! The courtesy respect and professionalism, on display there reminds me of the expression "old school"I remember when you pulled into a gas station and the attendant greeted you in a bow tie and a uniform, asked you what you would like what grade and how much, brought the oil dipstick to the driver for him to see, checked fluid levels, checked tire pressure, and last but not least washed all the windows AND the mirrors. Needless to say those days sadly are gone. However after today, there could still be joy in Mudville tonight ( old Poem)Sierra Service center lives up to its name. A short time after I dropped my truck off I received an email with pictures of all inspections and or corrective actions at my discretion. No signs "no customers beyond the red line" stuff. The pics were better than I could have seen myself in person if I was there looking over the mechanics shoulder.After I talked to Ernie, work approved, service completed, truck back in my hands early afternoon.This is the only time I can remember that I left a repair shop felling I got my moneys worth and all work was done property. I will be going back on a regular basis, customer for life.Preventive or unexpected, go to Sierra service center. If I could give six stars I would.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I appreciated that they were able to fit me in on short notice and get the work done on my car before a long family road trip. Price was about right for the work done. Ernie and Robert were helpful and communicated very well. The job took a little longer than expected but they kept the shop open to complete the work on my car. The main office and customer waiting area were clean and spotless and comfortable. I would recommend them for your car service needs.Service: Brakes

WoW! Not enough room here to fully express how we were treated and the quality of work, so I'll just say, "Wow".On our way out of state when we blew a caliper, they right away took us in and replaced it and had us back on the road. I had a hum coming from my truck. Dropped it off with Sierra service center. They determined it was the rear end. I have an extended warranty. They estimated 2600$ in repairs. The shop told me it was going to be 4400$. Then when I threatened to have it towed to a different shop that quoted me 3250 at most they dropped the bill to 3400$. I agreed since the towing and diagnostic would cost me more that the difference. We agreed on Friday. They said they would get the parts ordered. They told me it would be finished Monday or at the latest Tuesday morning. After repeated calls Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday they finally got it finished Thursday at 5pm. Ended up costing me an extra 5 total days of a rental car. I will not be going back there ever. And if you do go there be sure to check the bill and call other shops for estimates after the diagnosis. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a repair shop.Service: Auto maintenance

SIERRA SERVIS CENTER CHARGED ME $274 to replace one fuse! Ask them about it .My name is Dana Craig. I brought in my 2,000 ford ranger as I was unable to fix my break lights myself. I had checked the fuses but I failed to identify that a fuse had fallen out. Such a simple fix. So Sierra auto service took care of the problem. Then charged me $274 for them to replace one fuse and one bulb! No kidding these geniuses charged me $250 in labor in order to install one fuse. I had already replaced the bulbs before I brought it in. And told them so.Here is the kicker: they blamed me! I told them I checked the fuses , so they didn t check the fuses until they replaced the wiring . It s my fault for fooling these professional mechanics by saying I checked the fuses.I am not a mechanic yet they used my testimony to screw up the most simple fix. And made me pay for their mistake.Please let Sierra auto service know how you feel about this. I want my $$ back. Thank youNo stars at all

This place is absolutely amazing. We have used them several times and always had great service. I can't even say enough about how great they are after today. Another place broke the bolt for my lungnut when putting on new tires and then refused to fix it or pay to fix it. Sierra service center not only got us in for it to be fixed today but also stayed 2 hours after they closed to make sure it was done today so we could hit the road for the holiday traveling we needed to do. I have always had friendly service there but they went above and beyond today. They also took my husbands back to work since it was going to take some time.
