OMG ! They are great ! i was having trouble with my 2006 F150 one shop did 3 engine change ( long story for here) and was still throwing codes. and my trany went out. They found out that my catalytic converters were plugged and it fixed EVERYTHING ! I have my truck back, I have POWER . I will recommend them to everyone. Great shop great service .

I am visiting family in AZ, the transmission when out on my 99 tahoe, I took my vehicle to Southwest Transmission. They determined the transmission had to be replaced. They had my vehicle back to me the next day!Amazing. I look the vehicle out in snow to test my 4wd, the transmission performed perfectly! I highly recommended Southwest Transmission

My 99 F350's transmission was toast after pulling a full sized bus 19miles, (who knew). Towed into a high integrity shop unbeknownst to me. The shop owner charged what was the fair price for repairs.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Our 5-week retirement trip was interrupted with a transmission that went out. Southwest in Holbrook looked at it and got parts ordered so we could get back on the road. They were friendly, informative and professional; even worked late so we could get back on schedule!

I own an auto repair shop in Colorado. A customer had their transmission rebuilt at Southwest after it failed, and it made it to our shop (on their way to Michigan) before it grenaded again. Now, I do not know the initial cause of failure. It could have been that the torque converter seal blew out and dumped the fluid. It happens. Regardless, when I got the vehicle, the torque converter seal was blown, and the entire transmission was full of metal shavings. Something went horribly wrong internally.I gave these guys a call, and Gino told me to go ahead and tear it down and report back. After teardown I told him the torque converter was shot, the front pump was damaged, the 3-4 clutches were burnt, the input drum had heat damage, and the valve body was full of metal shavings.He gave us the go-ahead to rebuild it again, which we did. We sent our mutual customer on their way, and a couple days later I sent them the bill for our warranty repairs.They settled the bill with us, no questions asked. Our customer made it home to Michigan safe. It is extremely rare to see a shop stand behind their work like this these days. Our shop is not within the ATRA warranty network, so these guys paid out of pocket for my repairs.If you want ethics, honesty, and integrity, go to these guys. If I ever have a breakdown in Arizona, I know I will.Service: Transmission

Did repair in a reasonable amount of time and Good price! Just drove it 2000 miles. Shifts smooth as butter now!

The trans in our truck went out about 60 miles from their shop on a Wed afternoon. By Thurs am they had it in their shop and by Friday afternoon they had a rebuilt trans that was in stock in the truck, and it was ready to be picked up. It dosent get any better than that. They did a wonderful job on my car and made sure that everything was running well so my baby and I aren't at risk of a break down randomly. I really appreciate their work and how polite they were. Will definitely be going to them anytime I need work done on my car.

These guys are awesome. I took a 2003 Ford minivan to them.. they bid me a price to do the work, I agreed and they got started. What was to proceed can only be described as hell. Every thing went wrong from the start for these guys. As progress was being made Russ would call me and let me know. Progress was slow. At one point they had to rent me a vehicle so I could make a trip down to the valley. This was not an easy job for these guys. I'm not going to get into the details but I will say in the end I think this job ended up costing South West money. It wasn't easy for either but Russ did all he could to compensate. He never raised the price once. He changed my breaks as a courtesy, he ended up having to put a new computer in italy no charge, and eventually had to scrap the transmission he had put tons of hours in rebuilding. Again he only ever charged me the original bid price and did a lot of extras for free. Things don't always go as planned but these guys know how to roll with the punches.. TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE GUYS!! They are truly the best!Service: Transmission

They rebuilt our tranny and treated us fairly. Time will tell on the tranny job but so far so good. Gino was helpful and very nice to deal with.

Great team of mechanics and business faces. They will make certain customers know exactly the problems and will walk you through the process of whether to rebuild or replace. They have access to classic and hard to find transmission parts too. Very reasonable pricing and quick turn around.

I only called for advice when my transmission started slipping. The conversation was constructive and helpful. I didn't actually have them do any work bc the towing fee was over my budget... but I would use them again.I used to take my van (vanlifer) to their shop in Payson

Very helpful and honest. Dodge in snowflake was dishonest and tried to rebuild my transmission due to low shift pressure. Turns out not to be the problem at all. Very money hungry dealership! This guy is as honest as they come! Saved me over 7k to rebuild. Thank you so much!

I am terrible at Names but I believe it was Tyler and his father Russ that looked over our vehicle that we had towed to them! My wife, 7 month old and I broke down on our way back to Colorado... They were crazy busy but jumped onto our vehicle after hearing our situation! They spent a couple hours draining and filling our transmission (which I told them had gone out) they realized it wasn't our transmission which would have been super expensive! They recommend Performance Auto and 4x4 center, they then called and got our vehicle there for us (and did not charge us a penny for all their time) and tried to not accept a tip from me for their hard (honest) work! They even sent word to the other shop of the severity of our situation and that we had a small child which the other shop took care of us quickly because of that! This place is family owned and honest I highly recommend them!! Sorry if I got your names wrong you know who I am talking about we had the white Nissan Armada! My Child, Wife and I thank you for saving our weekend!

We were visiting from out of town and experienced transmission troubles. We found this shop and even though they were obviously busy they offered to help. They took our vehicle in and were able to fix it within just a few hours. AWESOME! I highly recommend them. If they had not helped us, we would have been stuck for the weekend. Great customer service.

These guys go above and beyond. My 16 journey had to get a new transmission and they came and picked it up and had it done a week before I even planned on getting it back. Just before Christmas. This is my go-to mechanic for everything, they have shown me time ant time again that they are honest and do a terrific job of taking care of my vehicles. They are so good they are always very busy but it is worth the wait to have these experts look at your car. I only am familiar with this location so am not speaking about the company as a whole, just this one shop.

I had SW Transmission in Payson put a new transmission in my Lexus RX300. It started acting up at less than 18,000 in 15 months miles but since I took it to a transmission shop at about 18,500 miles (sine I live in Montana) they won't honor the 18 month/18,000 mile warranty. I recommend that you go somewhere else where they stand behind their work. Most reputable shops will offer a 24 month/ 24,000 mile warranty.
