Love this place. Firestone in show low tried to tell me that my head gasket was about to blow up and that it would need a new engine. Came here immediately after and they told me nothing was wrong but a valve that needed to be changed out and got my oil changed.Dave and the guys are all really nice and help you understand everything that is going on!Definitely coming here instead from now on!Thanks guys!

Dave, Sarah, and the rest of the team are great! They're stand up guys who truly want to help the customer. Sarah is their new front desk gal and she's fantastic! I'll definitely be taking my jeep there for all my automotive needs!

I recently moved back to Show Low and left behind a very reliable mechanic and crew at my former place of residence and I was concerned about finding another shop here in Show Low that would provide as good as service as I have had in the past.It was suggested by a couple of friends to try Pit Road Automotive as my primary source for vehicle maintenance and care. I'm so glad that I did!First, I took an older Dodge Ram truck that I'm selling to a single mom into their shop to have the mechanics go over it to ensure that it was in top shape for this mom and her daughter. They went from front to back and underneath checking everything out and what few issues they found, they fixed immediately and at a very reasonable cost.I then took my own personal vehicle in to have work done and the service was once again excellent!I appreciate Dave and the crew at Pit Road Automotive for their professionalism and their genuine care of their customers. I will continue to be a customer in the future.

On recommendation from a friend who has used Pit Road Auto for years, I took my truck in for a tune up, oil change and radiator flush. They did not disappoint. They were professional and courteous and honored my time. Their price was reasonable and I will be a returning customer.

Thank you Dave and team for diagnosing and fixing my Shepherd Shuttle! WE thought for sure, it was a costly transmission issue. Nope! You were able to thin-slice the problem and recognize the sound as a broken catalytic converter (yes, the car had been purchased in CA, ugh!) And, you gave us a military discount on top of only charging one hour's worth of LABOR. C'mon. Is this heaven?Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

We had to have our car towed due to some engine problems. I picked Pit Road to diagnose the issues based on the reviews I read, and as expected they were quick, clear communicators, and helped us make a gameplan to get our car fixed that even included coordinating with another shop. They went above and beyond, made our lives easier, and we can't be more thankful!

04/01/24: Updating this review as I can not review twice! I can t say enough good things about Dave and the staff. I had more major issues with my truck and they above and beyond to help me out. After I replaced my truck they took a look at my new truck to make sure I did not get sold another lemon. They are honest and fair which is all you can ask of your mechanic!6 months ago: I would definitely recommend Pit. Dave is easy to work with and they get the job done.

Would post a zero if i could. Had a motor replaced here and it still has issues a year later. Was quoted a number then they came back with another one and so on. TOOK FOREVER! Pretty swindly of a shop. Find ANY alternative!! DO NOT GO HERE!

Nice staff however if you need to use the restroom you have to go else where. No bathroom for customers. Changed oil on rental car.

Honestly, this is the only shop I would go to. Professional and very detailed. It s very homelike -walk in and see a smile they will talk to you and work with you. Explain in detail if needed. I would highly recommend this place!! I have serviced my second vehicle here, and I am pleased with the service. Anybody looking for reliable auto care, and professionalism to the T , I recommend pit Road automotive in showlow Az!!!

Awesome shop! Recently had a Catalytic Converter replaced. They did an excellent job. Car is now running perfectly. Dave was so kind and EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful. I had been quoted about triple of my final price here out the door by another shop. Definitely honest people here. I m very happy with the entire service and HIGHLY recommend this shop to anybody. Thank again, Dave and all of the mechanics.

AMAZING SHOP - these guys did great work. I lost a ball joint about 200 miles from home over the holiday weekend. Not only did they answer the phone on the holiday but they were able to get me in for service the next day. They reviewed the work from the shop i had install the parts that broke and they found that nothing was installed correctly. They helped me more than i could have asked for.I plan on making the 400 mile round trip to have this shop work on my truck again in the future. I CAN NOT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH OF THIS SHOP.

We brought my daughters car, Bertie, in for a/c repair. They were upfront with the cost. He called to let me know the car was ready and informed me there was a few other things that needed to be fixed and they did it while they had the car. So of course my immediate thought was great, how much now. He said no additional charge!! It was something they were able to fix and wouldn't want their wife or daughter driving with the issues so they fixed it. That was the first car, now they've fixed my other daughters car and have been extremely reasonable!! This seems like a place that treats every customer the same and not take advantage because I am a girl who has no clue. Above and Beyond!If you are looking for an excellent automotive shop, you have come to the right place! I had called every shop in town looking for someplace to take a vehicle and get it inspected before I purchased it. Most of the time, I got short answers from people who were just too busy. At Pit Road, Albert, an excellent mechanic, and the owner, took the time to listen, and was willing to squeeze me in when I decided on a vehicle.His staff are also wonderful. Caleb, who often answers the phone, is just as friendly and willing to listen. He even had one of the technicians stay over to inspect my truck to be sure it would be a good buy for me. Caleb did some of the great work on my truck too. Trevor and Phil, who also worked on my truck, are truly good mechanics and technicians! Because of them, I was able to buy that night. Which was huge for me, since I live such a long way out.Pit Road did the few repairs it needed, a new serpentine belt, a tie rod replaced, plus a full tune up and oil change, and even some work on one of the brakes. I am so happy with this shop. I now own a beautiful little truck, in excellent condition.Thank you, Pit Road!Above and Beyond Indeed!

I am so happy that Dave replied to a post on Facebook when I was looking for a mechanic. Finding a good Mechanic in the Snowflake area has been a complete nightmare! Dave has literally been amazing with everything going on with my JKU! He has gotten me in on short notice or within a few days and I am not waiting weeks or days for answers. They are completely straight forward, and don't beat around the bush. Dave has made sure that every issue my vehicle has had got solved, even when it has been over looked by other mechanics. I really appreciate this shop and am definitely a new loyal customer. Anytime one of my vehicles in the future have an issue I will be calling Pit Road.Seriously thank ya'll so much for all the help and for going above and beyond to make sure everything is fixed right.

Pit Road Automotive was recommended to me from actually another place that couldn t get me in the same day. They were so helpful! They got me in the same day to see what was going on with my truck and diagnosed it within the hour I said I would be there. They didn t give me a diagnoses of that I would have to get everything done now! They gave me a diagnosis of if it happens again we are here for you and how much it would cost. They gave me hope and an estimate. And didn t charge me for their time into looking into it for me. Such wonderful people there! What service! Thank you! You are my go to Automotive repair place from now on! You stand behind your work! And they give first responders, Veterans and Teachers discounts! Since I am a Veteran that really means a lot to me. Thank you!

We were driving a load from Springerville headed back to Glendale, AZ.Our truck started making noise and in panic mode, I went on to search Google for help.Pit Road Automotive was around the corner. My truck broke down and I had to have it towed. A short time after I arrived they were able to tell me what was wrong. Fuel pump went out. They had me back on the road in no time. Very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will recommend to everyone. I called to get my van detailed. Not only did they do an outstanding job, (I'm kinda picky) they were able to get off road paint that was 2 years old. Yay! My van smells so clean too.In addition, they did an outstanding safety check since I was planning an extended trip. The detail was $340 and the oil change, serpentine belt, tire rotation, and another thingy was around $350.It took about 3 days. Picked me up and took me home.

Finding someone willing to work on MINI Coopers is hard to come by so far from the valley. Frank was amazing to work with and is very helpful. He is professional and kept us updated every step of the way with our car. He holds his team to really good standards and delivers an amazing service. Pit Road Automotive made us feel like a priority and they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Frank was awesome, they got my truck done within 1.5hr, I got my steering rack bushings replaced on my 2017 Nissan titan. He was more than fair with the pricing. finally an honest mechanic up here that genuinely helps people in a very timely manner. I would recommend his work to anyone!

Passed through here during my ride to the Petrified Forest for some service. I really appreciated Frank and his mechanics' work. Very professional, honest and up front with the entire process. Money well spent and they returned my car in probably the cleanest state it will ever be in. Wish I could find service like this back home. Highly recommended.
