My check engine light came on. They were able to get me in next day at 9. Diagnosed issue within 15 minutes, tech took me back and explain faulty sensor, also fixed another sensor retaining clip. Owner Toby also suggested they check over suspension. Out the door in 1 1/2 hours for a very fair price!! Thank you, all staff was extremely knowledgable and made it a great experience!

Great group of guys to get your normal car stuff fixed and in and out in a timely fashion and for a decent price to boot !I tried one of the other competitors and let s just say I called them Brand O ! And if you need something customize a lift kit or something cool old school, talk to Toby and his crew and they ll get on it and give you a well educated quote estimate to get you started!I know because they helped me with some stuff that I needed done and also some stuff they pointed out that didn t need done that I was told from the other place!They done me well! Bravo

Had a really great experience with this company. As busy as they are I had my appointment messed up then it was rescheduled the next day, the price was very reasonable. I I was getting my frount differential fluid done and under some misunderstandings they still took very good care of my truck since its a old 87 chevy V30, there customer service is more then expected because they treat there people like family for a small town and this is coming from a 1st time customer. Well knowledgeable an highly recommended to anyone. Thank you Proformance Auto team for your help and everything you did for me!!!

Made an appointment for 3 day's from my request. Walked in a day later to ask for an appointment.... He asks " what's your car?" I say " I'm just here to make an appointment." He says" I need to know the car make and model." I say " nice to meet you, I don't know your name, but never mind. Goodbye."

Friendly service and prompt follow-through calls. Reasonable estimates for parts and labor (leaf springs replacement). Very pleased with their performance!

After being run through the ringer at other places to get my catalytic converter fixed, the guys at Performance Auto came to my rescue. They didn't add any hidden fees or speak to me in a condescending tone because I didn't know. They're honest and reliable, my Jeep was done the same day. Not to be left out but, they serve older clients with such respect. Didn't gouge them or take advantage. Overall, I highly recommend this business. My daughters key got stuck in the ignition of her 1994 blazer. The truck would not turn off. We called Toby at Performance Auto and he took care of us. The price was fair and the customer service was amazing. Toby and his employees made us feel welcome, informed and safe. They have the world famous 1970 Rat Rod Gremlin there, check it out. Also, if you are a woman and need vehicle assistance go to Performance, I will never go any where else.

After about 6 months of trying to get a quote I got my truck dropped off and engine replaced. Tried to pick it up 3 different times but truck kept leaking from different "replaced" parts or truck wouldn't start. After the 3rd time, I finally got picked up to find out it still has a huge gas leak after I was charged for "new parts". I was ensured all hoses would be replaced but evidently they were not. Would not recommend this business for big projects or if you're looking for a business that will check the details.

Really good shop! Super honest and helpful. I trust them with any job. Always suprised at the fair pricing and efficient work. I have seen some pretty amazing fabrication out of their shop as well. They can really do everything.

I took my truck into Performance Auto 4x4 in Show Low, AZ, last Monday, May 15th, 2023. First, I was told it would take a few days, thinking I would get it back Thursday, May 18th. When I called on Thursday, they told me it would be finished Friday morning. No call all day. Monday morning came. I called them and they told me my truck was finished, nobody called to inform me. Well, I got a ride to get my truck. I paid the $2000, which I was told last Monday, May 15th, that replacing all these parts would fix the noise when my 4x4 was engaged. NOPE, IT WAS NOT FIXED!!!! $2000 later, and the noise is still their. I now have no savings account as I live on disability. So I paid $2000, and my truck is still broken. Talk about how infuriated I am. This is the reason behind this complaint. TODAY IS Monday, May 22, 2023

Had minor work done couple days ago. Put my truck through the ropes today and had check engine light. Reached in my glove box to get my scan tool to discover it gone. Avoid these thieves or at the very least be sure not to leave any important equipment in your vehicle. 1st and most definitely the last time i got to this crook shop

Hands down best mechanics I have found on the mountian. They get your vehicles squared away at excellent prices an will tell if there are any other things that need to be repaired. I will continue to use them as they are honest an up front on everything they do!

Performance 4x4 is a top notch operation and I should know, I was a head mechanic and owned my own repair and performance shop for 35 years.My appointment was for 0800 and was taken in promptly at 0800.The guys were very nice and understood my hesitation to let anyone else work on my vehicles because to a gearhead that's something very personal.I brought in my exhaust system and they installed it quickly and cleanly while I waited.Their price was $50. under the original maximum estimate which was a plus being on a retirement income.I will be definitely be using them again without a second thought and I highly recommend them.Service: Exhaust

Absolutely horrible service - we had a 2pm appointment with them to fix our AC and were told it would take one hour. I dropped my suburban off and over the course of the next 4 hours had to call them several times to see what their progress was going since they hadn't bothered to contact me at all. Finally, at 6pm I went by to see what was taking them so long...sure enough they hadn't even started to fix the AC that they told me would be finished in an hour. They assured me as I was leaving that they would call me within a week to reschedule and fix the problem... it's been two weeks and I havent gotten a call yet. Whats worse is that we have had a similar situation happen already before with these guys.What a shame. Definitely wont be going back and will not be recommending.

I was traveling from out of town with my camper when my F150 broke down on the side of the rode. Ford said they could look at it in a week. Ford gave me a few numbers to call. All the numbers said 1 to 2 weeks. Performance Auto said they could look at it in 2 days. Not only did they look at it a day earlier, they were able to diagnose my issue (throttle body) and get me back on the rode the next day. Thank you so much!!!!! I can't say enough about them.

I wanted to get a performance exhaust on my 2013 F150. I wanted to go for a more aggressive tone but not have it be obnoxious. This shop did not disappoint! I love driving my truck more than ever now! I get a big ear to ear grin hearing my truck roar down the road. When compared to prices online for the same parts, my out the door price was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the service or the outcome. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I will for sure use them again for future performance installs on my truck.Service: Exhaust

Amazing experience here! Had work done on my exhaust system! Even better was the extremely fair pricing! Toby was easy to communicate with he set up my appointment! I was late and they still got it done it took less than and hour and I was on my way! I highly reccomend this shop for any auto work you need done!!!

My wife, child and myself were heading back to Colorado and broke down near Show Low. My parents live there and recommended this place and they did not disappoint! I walked in and they were slammed and way overbooked... However after hearing our situation, out of town, having a seven month old, Toby and his crew jumped into action! They were quick and efficient, they located the problem (which turned out to be something completely different than I thought and had told them) and it was much cheaper than the part I thought it was!! I really appreciate their honesty and caring for our bad situation! My family and I thank them for their compassion and good work, I highly recommend them! Thank you again for saving our weekend!

I have been taking in multiple vehicles for basic alignment service up to axle work. Always had quick and courteous service. They always do a great job and are very knowledgeable. The service that has been always provided to me was above and beyond normal expectations. They always answer all my questions and give me a great price. I would highly recommend this shop for any auto work from basic maintenance to highway end modifications and classic car restorations. Thank you Toby for all your great work.

Took my wife's Hyundai santefe for front end work. After $3,000 the car developed a vibration that they have yet to find and fix. Owner says wait for it to get worse and maybe then he can find the problemThey absolutely ruined the resale value of this car. .Service: Steering & suspension repair

I went there for the first time, talked to Toby for a custom dual exhaust on my 70 ford pickup, he suggested the pipe size and mufflers etc.. I picked it up later that day ,Bruce did all the work , they did a awesome job , I love the sound and looks I can't thank them enough. These people are professionals and they treat you and your vehicle right.Service: Exhaust

Now this is a great auto shop(can't say the same for some in Show Low)! I had a check engine light on and they checked it, said it was an O2 issue and said they would be willing to fix it or if I wanted I could wait, that it wasn't imperative to fix. They were courteous and caring. I appreciated that they didn't just tell me 'this has to be fixed right away' when it didn't have to be. Haven't had a repair here so can't comment on that.
