Basic rooms at a classic Route 66 motel with a quirky restaurant & an antiques-filled bar. This retro-style Route 66 motel is 0.4 miles from Seligman Commercial Historic District and 25 miles from Grand Canyon Caverns. The casual rooms have basic decor and include TVs with satellite channels, coffeemakers, minifridges and complimentary WiFi. There's a kitschy cafe, a convenience store, and a snack bar, plus an antiques-filled saloon, and an old Arizona jail that once corralled notorious outlaws. Faux Old West storefronts provide photo opportunities.

Loved staying in this iconic route 66 motel. The exterior leaves one wondering what you have booked into but once inside you are transported into another world, in our case the world of Harley Davidson, where the interior decorations are fabulous and the facilities on offer in the room top notch. Thank you to Susan for making up our room so beautifully.

The Historic Route 66 MotelRoute 66 Seligman, ArizonaThis road trip we wanted to try several Route 66 Motels and the Historic Route 66 Motel in Seligman, Arizona, was one of themThe Historic Route 66 Motel is a great place to stay and has a beautiful Neon sign, especially when you see it at night. The Motel has 16 non-smoking rooms. There are several room types ranging from Double Queen, Double Queen Route 66, Single Queen, Single Queen Route 66, and a Mini Suite. The Motel also offers several amenities such as free wifi, satellite TV, coffee bar, fridge, and phone. We have traveled to Seligman many times before, and what has caught my eye is the curb appeal and cleanliness of this property. The room that we stayed in was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed at the Motel twice this road trip. Once at the beginning and the other at the tail end of our trip. The rooms were beautifully decorated with Route 66 motif. The room also had nice lighting. The bathroom too was spacious, and the rain shower head was great. It was great to see that they had a fridge and coffee maker in the room. The coffee maker was similar to a Keurig, which was great because we usually travel with one in case there is no coffee maker in the room. The ice machine was not too far from our room. It was located near the office. At check-in, the staff were professional and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Their guest service is comparable to some of my past front desk agents from hotels I worked at.This motel is also close to two restaurants. One being the Roadkill Cafe / Ok Saloon and the other which is across the street is Westside Lilos Cafe. Also, should you need anything, there is a market, Route 66 General Store, within walking distance of the Motel.Overall, we had a fantastic stay both times, and I would like to thank Debbie, Bruce, Mike, their family, and the motels staff for making us feel comfortable. We will be promoting the Motel to the groups soon

An excellent motel. The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable with nice firm pillows and good mattresses. Good water pressure, nice showers. Wonderful decor, loved the Harley-Davidson motorcycle theme in our room. Plus, some of the rooms have plaques on the door saying which famous person slept there. We were in the Ben Johnson room. A great little piece of history.Food & drinks: Located right next to the Roadkill Cafe.

This motel is right across the street from our favorite restaurant in Seligman - Westside Lilo's, who make the world's best carrot cake. The motel is very clean, updated and convenient. When the TV in my room would not work, the young man at the front desk came to my room and got it working right away. They are busy so book your room early. Parking is great - just steps from your door.

Great little motel conveniently located on Route 66. Good value for money. The room was clean and well-appointed. The check-in process was smooth, and the man at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a town-wide power outage briefly during the evening, and the front desk manager distributed camping lanterns for the guests! Great solution and service!! We used the room as a jumping off point to begin the Havasu Falls trek. Would stay here again.

What a fun place to stay after a long driving day and visiting the Grand Canyon! We really enjoyed the Historic Route 66 Motel; the rooms were freshly decorated with true Route 66 style. It also reflects on guests from the past like Burl Ives, Monty Montana, etc. Their names are on the door. The rooms were clean and had space. They had great decorations for the Route 66 theme and the room includes the story of Route 66 on the wall. We had a two queen that had memory foam mattresses that were very comfortable and it had extra room for a desk, etc. The tv is mounted on the wall which left room for other things. We didn't watch tv, but we appreciated the fact that they had a list of channels from Direct TV to help out if you were looking for something to watch. The bathrooms had also been refreshed and new tile and hardware. The shower had a rainfall head and there were plenty of towels. The fridge and coffeemaker were in the bathroom area but it worked great; the area was large.WARNING: The train tracks run parallel to Route 66. The rails were behind the Post Office across the highway and parking lot. It didn't bother one of us and it did wake up one of us. The train is very frequent --- it went through 6 times in three hours from 8-11pm and then slowed down from there. If you are a light sleeper; bring earplugs. The room is worth the experience. We would definitely stay again. We drove Route 66 for the fun and it was great, but it isn't as fast as I-40. So we drove 66 on the way and I40 on the way home. We enjoyed the views of Route 66.Noteworthy details: This is a historic hotel that has been spiffed up. The town of Seligman has taken on the ideas of Radiator Springs and everything about this hotel is Route 66.

I really did like this place. I ll definitely go back. The dated room was decorated with Route 66 memorabilia. The bathroom was small. No light in the shower. The bed was very comfortable. My bedside lamp didn t work. The guy who checked me in was very friendly. I felt like they really love what they do. Overall, I love the Route 66 vibe.

Low cost. Definitely worth the money. Very clean room and property. Friendly staff. Cute decorations. Updated shower. Spacious room. You can tell the owners care about the motel. Lacked a chair, hair dryer, and electric outlet near the sink. A microwave was furnished after I asked. Air conditioning fan was not powerful enough to cool the whole area. If you don't need the things I mentioned, I recommend you try it.

Right smack at the Center of Route 66. I absolutely recommend to catch the sunset here. The stay here was convenient and the roadkill cafe serves delicious food! You get 10% off if you re a motel guest.I recommend spending 1-2 hours in this town. So you don t have to plan half a day here. Just arrive 5-6pm right before sunset and before the town stores closes. Some of the things we liked:- No bed bugs or cockroaches- Super Safe neighbourhood- Free Parking

Kamon, staff in the night shift almost left us with no place where to sleep despite having paid the room in advance. We phoned him around 8 pm to tell we were arriving at 10 pm; when we reached the motel he told us his IT systems were down and he couldn't take the deposit from our credit card, we needed $100 in cash. We had only $95 in cash but he didn't accept, he didn't neither accept 100 in cash. And there were no ATM operating in Seligman, which has a population less than 500 hundred people, at this time. So he told us that if we were not able to find another $5 in cash couldn't check us in, even if the IT problems were not ours. Incredible!! Finally we got $5 in a bar and we could sleep there.Erika, staff in the day shift was very kind and helpful. She made us change a little bit the opinion we had about this place.Apart from that, motel is an old one, they just charge you around $95 per night because of the historical place in route 66 but there are more better options to stay in Seligman.

This is an unsolicited and non-compensated review.Stayed here on the last night of a family vacation traveling across the southwest. Was greeted for a late check-in by friendly staff and was shown into Room #2 next to the office. The entire family loved the room and Route 66 decor. Everything was very clean, felt safe, and was quite relaxing. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area.Clean roomNo weird smellsCold ACFriendly staffSafe areaEasy access to the interstate

Wendy is super nice. The parking lot is a good size. The room is cute and just what the doctor ordered for solo travel, bigger rooms are available. Love it. Shower is clean and water pressure is good both shower and toilet lol. Locally owned! Support local! Lets take back our economy.

The most rude owner/employee ever met in the hospitality industry. She had an attitude from the moment we asked for prices and availability and when we requested to see the room her lack of patience reached an all new level. When she showed us a room, because as frequent travelers and hotel stays we know pictures online are deceiving. She stormed ahead of us and shoved the door open for a view. I complimented how nice it was, minus the unkempt beds and stained carpets (did not say this aloud) and as she began to shut the door I asked if my mom could view as well (she was a bit behind us due to having a disability that makes her walk slower). She rolled her eyes then threw the door open, as she did so she almost hit me with her shoulder, giving space for my mom to look inside. My mom said it was really cute and we said we'd take it.As we walked back to the register office I apologized for needing to see the room. The woman responded by yelling from ahead of us to look online. I informed her of the manipulation photos are capable of and from our experience of paying before seeing has taught us a hard lesson. She laughed as if to mock us. We then told her we wouldn't be staying due to her attitude. She said she didn't care because she fills up every night. This woman is crude and disrespectful, I assume because we were wearing masks and she didn't want her rooms to be held accountable by comparison to the supposed online photos. We went down the street to another motel that was cleaner and with kinder customer service, the Aztec Motel, who did not mind showing their rooms and even gave us a tour and background of their facility (which most of is up-cycled). The Aztec Motel owner was even baffled as to why someone would have an issue with showing a room, that's an expected service. Anyway, there is better than Motel 66, just drive a mile down the street and you'll find it.

Without any doubt, it is one of the best places to stay when you travel across Arizona. It's like time travel to the past. Clean and safe rooms with outstanding customer service, they know "extra mile" means. Special thank you for all who helps with my lost jacket Rooms: OutstandingNearby activities: Road 66

Well this is the palce I wanted it to be. Located in the heart of town. Next to a sylish Road Kill cafe serving great meals. The room and bathroom are very well finished. All is new inside, so even if the buildings are old you are experiencing the feeling of comfort and freshness. The Owners are very fair people too. They allowed a free cancellation o of my excess booking.

I can't give this place anything less than 5 stars. We didn't expect much for the price but we decided to try this out for one night due to the reviews. This place was my easily my family's favorite out of 4 different hotels in the past week. Although breakfast is not included, the rooms are clean, there are a lot of stores and shops nearby, and the restaurant next door is convenient. We would recommend this to anyone passing through. The beds were also comfortable.

Historic Route 66 Motel in Seligman 66 is a nice place to stay next to highway 40. I gave it a four because there was only hot water during my stay. Other visitors also complained about the same issue. I understand they are renovating the rooms, but still that is not acceptable. Also, can you please replace the door knobs? Had to change rooms because the one I got was broken. It doesn t feel fully safe.Besides that, rooms are clean and you get the sense of history from Route 66.
