Refined property offering suites & cottages, some with fireplaces, plus an eatery, a bar & a spa. On the banks of Oak Creek, this elegant resort is a half-mile from the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center in downtown. Refined accommodations are set across a lodge and 4 types of cottages (Spa, Vista, Creekside and Garden). All include 42-inch flat-screen TVs, fridges, iPod docks, free Wi-Fi, and patios or balconies. Many have desert views, whirlpools, outdoor showers and fireplaces. A 5-bedroom house is also available. The resort fee includes yoga classes and evening stargazing. There's a pool, a posh French-influenced creekside restaurant and a wine bar. Spa treatments and valet parking are available for a fee.

Gorgeous property! We stayed in a mountain villa which overlooks the resort. It had a living room, bedroom and large bathroom with separate shower and a soaking tub with locally made bath salts and soap. There is also an outdoor shower which is absolutely lovely! The weather was chilly in the evening and the hot shower under the stars and full moon was incredible! There are many available options from cabins to rooms in the lodge. There is also a pool and the space is nice. The spa needs some aesthetic work, however. As far as services go, I highly recommend Amy and Aspen for a couples (or separate) massage (my massage with Amy ranks as one of the best I ve ever had!)The car valets were great! Super helpful and always on point. As for location, the property is very close to uptown shopping and they offer free transportation within a few mile radius. Overall I d recommend this property.Rooms: Housekeeping was stellar!Walkability: Close to uptown Sedona

Spent a kid free weekend here in early March. Our room in The Lodge building was lovely. The spa was wonderful, and the staff was attentive. The food was delicious! We especially appreciated the car service available to dinner dropp offs and pick-ups.Our only complaint was the shower, which is the trendy, no-door variety that sprays water out all over the floor and leaves you chilled because there is no door or curtain to catch the steam. Luckily, I was able to take baths a couple of times because it was less messy and the tub had much hotter water than the shower. I blame hotel designers for this shower trend that we will all look back and laugh about in 10 years. We would definitely visit and stay again.Walkability: You can walk up the stairs through the villas to reach the main street Sedona area.

This is not a five star hotel!!! Please do not waste your money to stay here. My husband and I were so excited after going to Vegas for a few days to work to have a romantic getaway in Sedona. We stayed at the Wynn in Vegas which makes this hotel seem like the Best Western. We are paying over 1100 a night for a disgustingly gross room. The bathroom is so dirty that I don t even want to shower in there. Do not eat in the overpriced restaurant, it is bad as well. We are checking out early and driving to the four seasons in Scottsdale to try and salvage some of our trip. Unless they gut their bathrooms and spa, do not waste your money on this place. Literally a roadside holiday inn I believe would be better. We are really sad that we wasted our hard earned time and money here. Ugh ..

We just went for dinner, but this was comically bad. The food is SUPER EXPENSIVE and the portions are tiny. They also charged $17 for the valet even though we ate at the restaurant.I spend tons of money on meals and am happy to do so but we spent so much money on dinner and are still hungry. The food was delicious though.

One of the most beautiful properties I've ever visited. Had brunch with a large group and we had our own private little heated deck area, which was surprisingly well heated not like other places with inadequate heaters in outdoor areas. The brunch was amazing, buffet style with omelet Chefs. Surprisingly affordable for such amazing food and views. Service was outstanding. If you don't visit this spot you're missing one of the best dining experiences in the country.Food & drinks: High-quality, chef made, buffet style brunch. All of the food was amazing. They had a meat carving station with prime rib, ham and turkey, as well as two omelet Chefs who prepared any type of egg dish you wanted. All non-alcoholic drinks are included in the brunch price including cappuccinos.

Absolutely stunning and beautiful place. Located in the heart of Sedona. Love the creek and feeling of being in the nature surrounded by red rocks and mountains. Lovely romantic getaway or lunch with friends, any occasion is extra memorable if it's in L'Auberge de Sedona.Nice touch for having s'more's by the fireplace and loved fresh green apples at the lobby and hot apple cider.Thank you for making me feel home.

We had a wonderful second visit to L Auberge as part of a retreat. The room service was exceptional- the way the staff wrap up your cords! The highlight for us was Sherri in dining. She was so accommodating and helpful- funny and delightful. I would def be trying to recruit her away if I lived closer. She is exceptional in her attention to detail and customer focused orientation. I will come back- but only if Sherri is there. Joe was fantastic too!!!

Not the same level of service and food it was a few years ago. Feels like it's now owned by someone trying to maximize profit over service and quality.follow up to reply; I never complained about the price, My issue was the quality (appeared to be food service quality), maintenance and service level. It's simply not there.

L Auberge is a fantastic resort and spa in Sedona. It s conveniently located below Uptown, very walkable and scenic. The service is by far the best we ve ever received . Hotel had great amenities we weren t able to use since our stay was short,Breakfast and food are amazing. This is a must stay for those who visit Sedona - the town car service is also a wonderful addition.

Service very slow, but staff are very professional and friendly. Food was good but not great. Took 3 hours for dinner. Long waits for the valet. Ordered a bottle of wine and a cold plate appetizer through in room dining - took 1 hour 40 minutes and multiple calls. They still charged me full price. Rooms need some updating, shower floor had black grout. They missed turn down service one night. For a 5 star resort, I expect more. I would try a different place next time.

We had a two day stop over to rest after a long drive in the desert and this was perfect. The massage creek side. The brunch was outstanding. The service was amazing! The shuttle was quick, the porters were always on point, and they really did make you feel like royalty. We will be planning trips through Sedona more specifically to stay here again.Walkability: There is a sneeky path down the back side of the resort which takes you up to town right where you want to be if you don't want to shuttle or walk up the main drive.

First this to know- is that this place is not associated with L Auberge in Del Mar.L Auberge Sedona is so so below average by comparison-Rooms are TINY. (We had 2 rooms) All of it outdated. Furniture worn. Amenities are barbie sized. No proper closet. No mirror other than bathroom. Just OLD.-Our rooms were in an lodge that had half the lobby under construction. This was an eye sore and was not disclosed when we booked.-And they have no sense of service. Front desk was flat out rude. We asked for a roll away cot (someone was sick, and didn t want to share a bed) and they refused to send. We needed 1 hr late checkout because the spa appt (at the hotel) changed and they REFUSED!! I m in 4 and 5 star hotels once a month and I ve never experienced this. These people were arrogant and not solution oriented.-Front desk couldn t break large bills- had to go ask valet for change.-The lobby is TINY and dated. Bartender in the little baby sized bar- was completely overwhelmed if more than 2 people to serve.Everything here is so overpriced. Mind you I ll pay $1000 a night, but I expect top notch everything and this is a $200 a night place at best. The facial? Nearly $500- and despite saying come early and use the sauna etc - when my grown son arrived early he was told to WAIT UNTIL HIS FACIAL TIME ONLY. And no access to other areas.I have never been so disappointed in a stay in recent memory.

Beautiful spot in Sedona. Staff is amazing, food and drinks are great. Sunday buffet was spectacular! Cozy rooms with fireplace, outdoor shower. Great spots to lounge. They shuttle you all about town. It's fantastic! Would visit again for sure.Nearby activities: Sedona wine tours, hiking, grand canyon etc. So much to do. Should have stayed more than 3 nights.

L'Auberge or Les Misrables?During our recent stay at L'Auberge in Sedona, we encountered a mix of positives and areas for improvement that shaped our overall experience.Positives:1. Room Size and Layout: Our room was #96 - Vista Cottage Suite. The size and layout of our room were impressive and met our expectations.2. Grounds and Views: The hotel grounds are well-maintained, offering serene views and a peaceful atmosphere.3. Valet Service: The mandatory valet service was efficient, with staff members who were both accommodating and friendly.4. Added Amenities: We appreciated the thoughtful extras in the room, such as chocolates, wine, kombucha, bottled water, and espresso.Areas for Improvement:1. Room Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room was below par, which was disappointing. Specifically, the shower was dirty to point that we couldn't use it and there was dirt and grime throughout (light switches and other touchpoints).2. Room Interior and Value: The quality of the room's interior did not seem to justify the high nightly rate we paid. The hardware was old, chipped away, or in-need of refurbishment.3. Dining Experience: Our dinner experience was underwhelming. The quality of the Wagyu Striploin was substandard, appearing dry and chewy. Additionally, the lack of response or compensation from the front desk after our feedback was disheartening, especially considering the $400 price tag for the meal. Jade was delightful and thoughtful though.4. Brunch Service: While the brunch itself was enjoyable, the service was lacking. We found it challenging to get coffee and the bill, and the hostess s demeanor was unwelcoming. Conclusion:Overall, L'Auberge has the potential for a truly exceptional stay, but our experience was inconsistent. The attention to detail in some areas was overshadowed by lapses in others, particularly in cleanliness and dining. As a result, I am rating our stay 3 out of 5 stars. We hope this review is received as constructive feedback, and we would welcome any outreach from the hotel management to address these concerns.Update:L'Auberge staff reached out and made a small attempt to make things right. Not enough, but better than nothing. It is a shame that it took this to get even a "how was your stay" from someone there. Added a star to the rating, and I will update if they do not follow through with their promise.

We stayed at Laurberge from 9-12th March - we came two celebrate our wives 50th birthday and travelled from UK.Summary - this is not a 5 star hotel and is tired and overpriced!Points of relevance:Booking process was a disaster despite booking two weeks in advance and paying deposit they screwed up booking did not confirm booking and 3 days before travelling said we had no reservation and booked us in for 3 days post our original reservation - required multiple emails and numerous phone calls to sort out not acceptableRooms are tired we were woken up on first night with air conditioning going of periodically for next two nights we had to turn off as did not want to be woken. Hot water pump came on whenever we ran hot waterRoom service is at best sporadic not turn down service and our friends did not get room made up despite multiple calls to receptionRestaurant is overpriced and incredibly small portions - soup in bar which same as restaurant is 50% price!Wine cellar refrigeration was out of order when we were there - frightening thing was they had no idea and we had to point out that white wine was not cold - they then said wine cellar was not working - we then had warm white wine for rest of our tripStaff are young and try to be helpful but are very inexperienced they have little or no knowledge of wines or food - barmen said "I have no knowledge of wines as not been allowed to sample them" some of wines retail at over $1000!Reception - I got a $200 resort voucher but reception could not reconcile back to bill which I requested it was a shambles and I was told " I will not apologise until I have done my due diligence which will be tomorrow"!!!. I asked for a call back from manager and received nothing - my wife was told on earlier occasion we cannot dial out to international numbers!Overall this is over priced tired not a 5 start hotel - there must be better options!

A couple things to note that caught us off guard. Our mistake in that we should have done our homework. Resort fees were high at $100 per room per night. Property is NOT associated with Auberge line of properties. The property has high occupancy so if there is skunk issue then moving your room can be a challenge while keeping close proximity to other rooms booked. The room rate fees would lead one to expect more from the team and ameneties offered.

This place is awful!!! Only good things about this place are the valet and spa folks. Bartenders are slow as molasses and incompetent. You will wait 25 mins for them to make a drink and then get over charged. Even during down time when not many people are around. Front desk ppl have their head in the clouds. Grounds are not at all what the website shows. Cleaning staff came into our room unannounced a few times while we were in bed. Food is ok but dining service is awful. This is not a 5 star. You will be better off staying elsewhere. Rooms are ok but there is no heat in the bathrooms which can get cold.

The room was not ready at check-in time. It looked beautiful but had no heat. The front desk was slow and less than helpful.Valet stand team was absolutely fantastic. Not worth the rate.

This hotel is not a 5 star property and unfortunately was a disappointment. This was our first experience at a L'auberge property and I don't think we will be back. My husband and I went for a solo getaway, and the food was the biggest weak spot, but as others have commented, the service across the resort was hit or miss. I had to follow up numerous times to get a hold of the concierge desk to arrange some activities while we were there. The restaurant was so bad it made us both angry each time we went in (waiting 30 minutes for a glass of wine, seeing the waiter texting while we were waiting for our bill). We didn't even use our free breakfast because it was that bad. Someone needs to come and restart the restaurant from the ground up. We love relaxing at luxury resorts - at the pool, spa, restaurant, bar. The best service we got was at the pool - and we avoided the restaurant and bar altogether. We didn't want to complain - we wanted to relax. At this price, we shouldn't have to be concerned with staffing shortages or other problems.

The valets were great but nothing else was. Staff was friendly but the front desk was incompetent. We traveled with my father in law and the front desk continuously confused the rooms and kept trying to give their appointments for spa to us. The room was not ready on time and we waited 4 hours for it to be ready. Then it had no heat! The grounds were really sub par for a place like this. Would not recommend this place!Rooms: Nicely appointed. If only heat had been working!Food & drinks: Food was great. Sunday brunch had a wide variety including seafood.
