My sister and I and my niece and her two sons spent the night at Best Western in Thatcher on on April 18th 2024. We had never stayed there before but I found it to be excellent service the rooms were very clean the beds were fresh and clean sheets the pillows were not those little cheap pillows that you usually get they were the type you would have in your home. I would recommend this place to stay for anybody without any hesitation at all five stars all the way. We really enjoyed or stay with them.

Everything about my stay was fantastic, from the clean room which was a King Suite with jacuzzi garden tub, to the hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage! The coffee was also excellent! The weather was cold and rainy and dreary but my hotel room was warm and cozy and the tub was great for soaking in with mineral bath salts and bubbles that I bought at the local grocery store. Hotel staff were all excellent from the front desk to housekeeping and grounds cleaner! Everyone was friendly and professional. I even heard the staff ask a group of bikers who were staying there to get out of the rain if they wanted some towels to dry their bikes before they set out riding! I highly recommend this Best Western to anyone looking for a place to stay in Safford, especially the room I stayed in, which they called the Honeymoon suite! It was spacious and comfortable and quiet and cozy! I could not have asked for a better stay!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed my stay. No complications. Just like I like it.Conveniently located, Walmart, Safeway, Walgreens, etc are just down the road. Plenty of dining ideas close by.

The advertisement for this business is horrible. It doesn t make sense why the rooms are priced where they re at currently because the room I was in was beyond disgusting. The bed had stains in it from previous person, the carpet was absolutely dirty (black and red stains in 107) my towels initially looked clean but then upon picking them up the bottom sides of all my towels were covered in pubic hair. There was pubic hair on the shower walls, roaches in the microwave that someone purposely cooked in there. The location of the hotel isn t the best either and it looks AND FEELS sketchy. letting guest (construction workers) smoke and drink in the parking lot freely, not a lot of available parking space, the parking lot full of pot holes and there s a homeless camp site across from the hotel.Stay FAR AWAY.Noteworthy details: The rooms are not kept clean. Ask to look at the room before you purchase it!!! And throughly look through the sheets, towels, microwave, refrigerator and again LOOK THROUGH THE SHEETS

We booked a suite through Travelocity for Xmas Eve and Xmas day 2023 as we were visiting family in safford for the holiday.. we had hoped a suite would be more comfortable for the holiday morning and this was the only suite available in town.. The images showed a living area with a bar area and a separate bedroom... When we arrived we had something totally different.. The kitchen consisted of a fridge, coffee pot and microwave all situated in the corner of the bathroom(!?) and there was no living area or bar area.. There were 2 queen beds in the main room and a separate small bedroom with another queen. As a result It wasn't really a comfortable place to spend Xmas morning, and we couldn't really have anyone over as we had hoped... Not what I paid for.The room was marginal... floors were pretty stained, there was trash under the bed skirt, and the furniture was a little scuffed up(but not unrepairable).. but the beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, it smelled decent, and there was plenty of channels on tv. It's a motel... Not a hotel... So all rooms have exterior entrances. The grounds are okay. There was a really gross looking bbq grill in the landscaped area outside our room, absolutely caked with mud... It had charcoal and utensils with it... But it wasn't sanitary.. My dog sniffed at it and peed on it... Twice... I don't think he was the first to do so.The staff seemed nice and accommodating.. I got a nice "Merry Christmas!' from the groundskeeper when I walked the dog on Xmas morning and another when we went for breakfast.. The breakfast was minimal, but it was a real breakfast... a few cereals, a few pieces of fruit, a pancake machine, juice and coffee, eggs and bacon .. and what was there was quite good. the breakfast room was small and only had a few tables... But it was super super clean. The floor was cleaner than our room! The motel is surrounded by kinda grungy looking restaurants and a marijuana dispensary... and on that stretch of road the vehicles seemed to have 2 things in common .. no muffler and loud music... Definitely the kinda place where you double check that car doors are locked and room is dead bolted... We definitely didn't leave any valuables unattended in the room.We had paid for Xmas night and originally planned to leave early the next morning... When we got done with family on Christmas day and came back to the motel, we looked at the room and decided we just didn't want to sleep there another night so we packed up and drove a few hours back home.. I lost a night's hotel fee . This just isn't the kinda place you spend time with a family and it was Xmas so I didn't want to waste energy arguing for a refund with the motel. We just politely checked out and left. There must be better places in Safford.

We have used this BW several times and have never had an issue. This time though they gave us a room next to a group that was partying all night and had a very loud car with bopping music. I did not get any sleep and I'm not happy.

The hotel was outstanding in every way. Rooms in good condition and immaculately clean. Team members delivered excellent service. Housekeeping was top notch. I needed extra attention to help with a credit card billing concern and the hotel manager took care of my request right away with a smile. My anticipations were surpassed. Will most certainly return for other visits. Highly recommended.

I have never stayed at a motel that had carpeting as nasty as this. It smelled like urine. The manager offered us another room but when we went to see it, the smell was just as bad. She gave me a bottle of spray with the labeling of "odor ban" taped on. We sprayed the carpet and opened the window while having the ac on hi vent to try to bring in fresh air. Because we were busy with an arranged appointment, we did not have time to find other accommodations. I ended up purchasing microban and lightly sprayed the carpet where we would be walking. I didn't remove my shoes until I got on the bed. After 4 hours of having the vent blowing with the window open, it smelled slightly better but it was still very bad.Rooms: The manager said the owner will be remodeling soon and that they will be removing the carpet. While that will be a major improvement, I feel the Health Department should be involved with its current condition.

Great location and excellent customer service since we arrived until we left. Good breakfast. Clean room with comfy beds. It was a non-smoking room but smelled little a cigarette but nothing big. We left early and in a hurry for an appointment, when my daughter forgot her purse with some money in the room but we received a call from Valerie (host or manager) late in the morning saying that they found it in the room. We really appreciate her honesty and customer service (5 stars!!).

Very clean rooms. Can hear road noise coming from windows and door from main busy street but didn't bother me. Neighbors are quite. Only complaint is room home did not work in order to get a hold of office.BREAKFAST IS AMAZING AND EMPLOYEES ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND POLITE.Rooms: Clean and organized rooms.Nearby activities: Near parks and movies.Walkability: Good location to walk around restaurants or activities.Food & drinks: Breakfast has number of choices. Cafeteria is well cleaned or organized and always well stocked my the employees.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast - would've given it 5 stars except the carpet was covered in little black bugs and we didn't notice them until we took our shoes off and stepped on them. We spent the evening with our shoes on and carefully taking them off when we got into bed. Bits of bugs still got in the sheets, though. You can imagine our disgust but we were out of money or we would've gone to a different hotel. We were told we could not be moved to a different room and they could not give us a refund because we'd booked with a third party, so we'd have to contact them for a refund. I contacted the third party website and they said only the hotel could process a refund.Anyway, the hot breakfast was good as long as I didn't think about the pieces of beetle carcasses on my feet, shoes, luggage, and bedsheets.

The girls in the front office came to my rescue today as my car wouldn t start so one woman s son in law came to help jump my car! They went out of there way above and beyond! We stay here once a month and rooms are always clean and staff very nice and accommodating! Breakfast is great and the lady in there is so friendly! Sorry I forgot names but thank you Valerie for making us feel comfortable!

Friendly staff no problems there The carpet in my room was absolutely nasty. I don t think it had been cleaned in the last 10 years. The room itself likely hasn t been updated in a long time. I m not sure what the little bugs were that were in my room but when I found them I decided to move hotels immediately.

Worst hotel experience ever. Front desk gave me a key card/hotel number that was occupied already. They guests were extremely upset with me and I was shocked and felt bad. Moving on, I have to work remotely and they advertised that they had WiFi. Their internet does NOT work and their password was bad. No big deal, but then I asked for a late checkout via text communications with front desk the day prior. However housekeeping would NOT stop banging on my door at 10:00am when late checkout is at 12:30(or so I was told) After telling housekeeping this, she wouldn t believe me and still kept banging on my door being rude and ruined my beauty sleep. I had to call front desk and they finally told her something. False advertisement, terrible communication between staff, and rude housekeepers. I am beyond annoyed and won t be staying at this hotel. Gave them plenty money to just ruin my stay. It s not ok.
