I have to say, these guys are outstanding. I read the other reviews and had my doubts but decided to give them a try. Not only did they save me 3 thousand dollars over where I took my vehicle first, they were upfront and fourth coming with everything. It did take a little while but I have a Porsche and understand parts can be hard to get, its not a ford. My car works better than it ever has. Thank you David and your team for all the hard work.

Let me start off by saying I would not even give this facility a 1 star review. Horrible place!!Dropped our truck off two weeks ago, stressing the importance of getting it back as soon as possible as it is our work truck and used daily. They insured us it would be looked at as soon as possible. No one ever reaches out, you have to constantly call them for updates. No one is ever available to answer what is going on. Price quoted started at $2300-$7500 for rear end replacement. Manager never available and always told he would call us back (which never happened). Called the manager directly spoke with him for about 20 seconds and he stated he had another customer and would call back in 15 min (which again never happened). We had that encounter with him twice with the same response. Finally drove down in person to see what was going on. Truck was still parked in the same location. No work had been done at all after 2 weeks. Demanded keys and would have a tow truck there immediately to move it somewhere that would actually work on it and not give the run around. At that time the manager became very rude and made up a number to charge us with which was over $400. Which we paid just to get the truck away from them. Even after paying them over $400 for doing absolutely nothing and keeping our truck down for over 2 weeks, they did not want to give us the keys and did not want to move other vehicles out of the way for a tow truck we called to come get it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! HORRIBLE!!!

My son s transmission went out on his car, David assured us that they have worked on his model of transmission before and could get it up and running in a couple weeks. After 3 weeks of trying to get updates we finally were told they were waiting on parts and would be another week. We get the car back and there s a check engine light on and the transmission is not working right, shifting weird. Took it back, they had it for another few weeks and finally got it back to us shifting ok but engine light still on. Horrible communication and service.

I think they stole our truck. Had it for a month. Got it back and still broken. Took it to them to fix again after assurances they could fix it. Over 2 weeks and counting. They have disabled the gps tracker. Won t tell us where our truck is. Have lied constantly about what they have done. Have no idea if they fixed it or not. Owner said he will give it back when he feels like it. Police called him and he claims we didn t pay him but I have the receipt for close to $5000. Don t know where to turn to get this resolved. Do not ever go to this shop. Employees may be nice and even Marco the manager may be trying but the owner is something else. I have never had something like this happen or been treated this unprofessionally If there is an issue then say something don t lie about it.Service: Transmission

Called and dropped off my truck 11/9 for a transfer case repair. Was GUARANTEED 5 times that it would be completed and ready by 11/15, and $700-1/$1700. Called on the evening of 11/15 and was told that the person with the information on it was gone, but would call me back. Call 11/16, informed they still don't have the information but would call me back in 15 minutes. Fast forward to 11/17, still no information. I had to DRIVE TO THE SHOP, to even know if my truck had been worked on and was informed that they were "waiting for parts".Couldn't tell me what parts, couldn't tell me when the parts were scheduled to arrive. NOTHING. Forcing me to come up with alternative transportation to get to South Dakota the following week.11/24 receive a voicemail stating the truck was completed. Being out of state I was unable to pick up my truck until 11/28. Upon arrival the bill was almost $2400, and there was ZERO explanation as to why it was suddenly nearly $700 more, no parts list showing what had to be replaced. AND they couldn't find my keys for 10 minutes.AAMCO has completely lost my business and that of my family permanently. If you're waiting on parts, fine but tell your customer. If it's going to be over, fine, vehicle repairs have that tendency, BUT INFORM YOUR CUSTOMER. My only hope is they did it right so I don't have to deal with the inevitable nightmare the warranty will be.

Dropped my car off in October to get diagnostic for a leaking rear differential. Was told coupler could be cause of issue and that they will look into it. A week goes by without a call, so I inquire into the status of my car.I m told drive shaft was removed and sent to a shop for repair. Which is funny because no one told me that was the issue, otherwise I would ve told them to just source and replace the drive shaft.Another week goes by, I ask for another update. Drive shaft still at repair shop so I tell them to get a replacement. They said that they ve put in an order and will notify me once item arrives. Another week goes by.Am told that neither drive shaft from repair shop or replacement has come in and that they will make inquires and call me about status. Another week goes by (never received that call).It s Monday November 20th so I decide to call again to inquire about my car. Was told that manager had to be rushed to hospital and that another manager from another shop is covering for them. Will give me a call once more information becomes available (never got a call back).That was three days ago. I m flying out of town for thanksgiving and will be back on the 27th. Hopefully something comes up. All in all, don t waste your time on this place.

Amazing experience at this shop. Met with Marcos who advised me of needed repairs to my transmission and he gave me a fair price with an accurate estimate regarding price and time of completion. When my truck was ready Marcos met with me to explain what was done and advised when to return for routine service. My transmission has run great since and I will definitely keep up with the maintenance schedule as recommended. I highly recommend this location for the great customer service and experience.

We brought our 2004 Ford F-150 into the shop needing a transmission rebuilt. It was a big job. They were very meticulous and thorough. Made sure every detail was perfect. I'm not sure how I see all these great reviews and I'm having the worst experience of my life with this place!Please I need help! Can someone from corporate or a area manager or something please contact me as soon as possible! I'm not here too blast or sat names I just want My car back and repaired as I was told it would be over a month and half ago.Thank you3 weeks later and still I'm being told lies about my vehicle! I guess I'll have to get the Queen Creek police department involved. No cal back from anybody on this matter. I'm still being lied too

Normally don't write reviews, but thought leave one. The shop did take a fairly long time, however in the end they did end up giving a fair price due to the long wait that it took for the repair. Can't complain with the pricing for the work that was done, Marcose was good guy to work with was just unfortunate due to circumstances that it took so long. Would go here again though for transmission work since theyll do it right even if it takes longer.Service: Transmission

I brought my 2006 f150 4x4 in for a diagnosis and they got my truck in asap. This shop was very friendly. I was helped by Marcos, he kept me up with everything thats going on with my truck and got me a parts list in a very quick time. Had my car for 2 weeks and didn't fix the problem. Was told lies apon lies apon lies wasting my time. Til I finally asked for my keys back and had it towed by AAA to a dealership that will actually fix the problem. Not happy with AAMCO at all and will never go there for service again.

Very excellent customer service. I usually go to their neighbor shop but I needed a second opinion on a very expensive diagnostic of one single issue. I needed a check engine light resolved for emissions and was not aiming to spend thousands on thousands, these guys were extremely thorough and worked with me with fixes I needed to resolve the check engine light and other important small fixes needed for safety (that were not diagnosed by their neighbors that I paid $115 to get told 1 issue when there were quite a few). And to top off their service level, they even got the emissions test done for us! For literally just the cost of emissions, no labor cost added. They were great to work with- had to have my car towed to these guys and they were quick to inspect it and get back to us with the diagnosis. They even informed us it was still under warranty from the dealer. Before we have to get it moved to the dealer they were very accommodating allowing us to get a few items out of the car I had forgotten about. They may not have done the work on the car but we won t hesitate to recommend them for their customer service, and should a need arise return to them for more mechanical work!!

Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle some place else. I was quoted a 4 to 5 day return on my Yukon it took them 14 days. When I did get my vehicle back it had grease all over it and had a dented scratch up fluid pan on it. There was little to no communication with me on the scope of the repairs. Trust the Google reviews I wish I would have!!!

Took 17 Corolla in for diagnostic. They advised that the wrong transmission fluid had been used in a flush I had just received from another shop in town. I asked to speak with the mechanic, who answered my questions so that I could go back to the original shop and resolve. My experience could be summarized as professional, honest, and customer-centric. I would recommend this shop.Service: Transmission

We have been bringing cars to Mike and his team for years and have never been disappointed. We finally found a mechanic we can trust. Sometimes we needed repairs and other times we didn't. Mike gives honest feedback and doesn't push for unnecessary work. We feel confident in recommending AAMCO to all of our friends. So glad we found them...never going elsewhere.

Went to pick up my work truck at 4:45 pm (they don t close till 6) they were closed locked up and gone early for the day. This is after me making arrangements to pick up my vehicle after work. What really makes it bad is I dropped off my rental car 1st before going over, now I don t have a vehicle and will have to be 3 hours late to work if they even open on time in the morning.I understand there could have been a good reason for closing shop up early, but where is the customer service? Who was the one who couldn t think to notify someone who was already scheduled for pickup? I would have just kept my rental for another night. AggravatingService: Brakes

Great place and awesome customer service!!! My truck s A/C went out. Called and scheduled an appointment for Friday. Dropped it off first thing in the morning and they had it blowing ice cold by the afternoon. They even replaced a belt that fell apart for no charge. I am always nervous dropping of a high mileage vehicle at a service shop(330k miles). Mike listened to me and fully understood that my concern was only for the A/C. When I picked up the vehicle the price was slightly less than what was quoted to do the work. Quick, professional, and excellent customer service. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

This review is overdue. My 2000 Honda Accord was having transmission issues so I took it here for diagnosis and service. Mike was great to deal with under trying circumstances. The transmission needed a complete rebuild and he did his best to keep costs down. They completed the work on time and provided a warranty for both parts and labor. The transmission has been excellent since the rebuild. Mike and his team are amazing. They do excellent work and are upfront and honest. I highly recommend this AAMCO for any auto service (they do a lot more than transmissions) they offer.

My car started making a wonky noise near the front driver side. I didn't want to drive it for fear that it was a big problem. I took the car to Mike and he had one of the technicians drive it around. They put it up on the lift and removed the tire and rotor. Turns out it was a rock that got behind /inside the wheel and that was making the racket! I was relieved that it wasn't anything too bad. When I asked how much I owed and he said nothing at all. I was surprised and thankful. Any other place would have charged at least a half hours worth of work. I am very satisfied and happy with their service. I've had some work there on another vehicle in the past and I will now go back for all my car needs.

Mike and the staff at this AAMCO are great. They ve always been honest and up front with me and they ve never tried to up sell on unnecessary work. It s also one of the few shops in the area that allow payment plans. It is a 3rd party and similar to getting a credit card to use on the bill, but even just having that option is better than most nearby mechanical shops offer. Part cost is comparable and reasonable. Labor costs on any non-maintenance jobs are in my opinion a tad high, but it s only by a small margin and it s worth it to me since I know they re only ever doing work that s truly necessary. I m a repeat customer and always will be.

RIDICULOUS!!! Dropped my vehicle off on a Thursday, they had it all day on Friday to diagnose some of the issues I was having. I called around 2ish, the person did not know how to access the computer or input info in to see what the mechanic saw wrong with my vehicle. Called back between 4-4:30, no answer and went to an answering machine. Called back again again around 5:30 and still no answer. They closed at 6pm and I was without anything all weekend. I showed up on Monday and said "I'm here to pick up my vehicle that no one has called me on regarding any issues", all they said was ok, it's being charged right now, finished and then pulled it up and I got in my vehicle and drove away. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!! At least call me and tell me it hasn't been looked at, SOMETHING!!!!!
