I had a minor emergency on my road trip. I have been in many places around the world including car mechanics. I have genuinely found Jim's place top tier for the following reasons. 1. Very clean facility, 2. Everyone was genuinely nice and professional, 3. Fair pricing, 4. I enjoyed how everyone in this business had a purpose. Thank you kindly for resolving my issue and when again I will be in your area, I will look for something for you guys to repair because America needs more places like yours. Thanks again for your help.

They do good work. They do charge a little on the pricey side. Charged me nearly 3 times for parts over the price I could have gotten them and then didn't put the parts they quoted me. Found out when I dropped of the car to get service after I waited ten days from proposal to service day nothing was said. In all I do trust the work performed. It's hard to find a shop that can work on my Porsche. I usually take it to Stuttgart Porsche in Tempe but thought I would give these guys a try. Welcome to Prescott. $$$$$

I have dealt with this shop twice. The first time, they did not drive the car and fixed something that did not solve the obvious problem. The second, I called to confirm the price when I made the appointment and included all relevant details including I was providing the parts. When they started to do the work I received a call that the price was 25% more because I provided the parts. Neither time did they offer to rectify the situations in any way. They seem very cocky and have no concern for customer service. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this shop.

These guys did a great job on my alignment - in the future, I won't go anywhere else for an alignment in the area. I found everyone courteous, prompt, honest, and professional. They were eager to address any questions or concerns I had via email or phone. Jarrod specifically had great communication skills, and I'm happy with the price and quality/value of work I received. This was for a jeep 4" lift

Took one of our work trucks in there. Fast and convenient. No complaints on the price and we really liked the owner and his staff. Was a good experience overall.

Great place! I took my jeep in to get my brakes looked at. They gave me 2 options and they were both affordable. They ordered the parts for me and I came back a week later for my appointment! They did great work, the guys at the desk were very nice and helpful.

This company is GREAT! They took care of my truck issues and prices are very reasonable. Darrell is a really nice guy and so are everyone there. I've found my new mechanic! Took my sxs in for alignment after I installed new tie rods and radius rods. Machine drives better than it did new. Very happy with Darrell and his awesome team. Dropped it off in the morning and had it back on my trailer in a few hours.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

This crew is amazing. These guys have performed nothing short of flawless service every single time. If I could take this shop with me when I move, I would. Hands down the best and easiest shop I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I actually enjoy going to this shop, unlike other shops I've been to in the past. There is no dreading the lies you're about to hear and outrageous bills that don't even make sense. It's near impossible to find an honest automotive shop anymore. Jim's Alignment is top quality in my book.

I used Jim's based on a recommendation from my son and am so glad I finally did. They are locally owned and there's a good reason they have been in business for many years. They are courteous, professional, dependable and do an excellent job. The gentleman, I believe his name is Jarrett, who scheduled my appointment and checked me in was very nice and helpful. These guys are the best. Clean shop, very professional. I had the front-end of my GMC truck lubed. Cost me $10.00. They won't rip you off. I will not go anywhere else.

The entire crew are amazing and super trust worthy. I took my 2008 Crv in because the ac quit between Yuma and Phoenix. They were swamped but still got it on the rack, diagnosed, and fixed that day.

Being new to the area, it is sometimes a guessing game finding a good shop to have you car worked on or serviced. Luckily someone recommended Jim's Alignment and Brake Service. I own a classic car that needed some front end work and brakes. I also needed some carburetor work and the replacing of the cam shaft. Daryl, the owner, agreed to do all the work. I am extremely pleased with the work that Daryl and his crew did. They handled my classic as though it was their own, and spent many hours getting all the kinks worked out, to the point where it runs and drives like it did when new. I was also pleased with the bill, which for all the work they did was very reasonable. I now take all my cars to Jim's Alignment and Brake for service and any other problems that may arise.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

I'm sure they do a great job with your stock run of the mill automobiles but I would highly suggest you take your custom vehicles (e.g. a lifted truck) somewhere else with more experience. Overpaid and had to take it to another shop to fix their work...Edit: You need to look-up the definition of specialty...I had to actually talk to the mechanic multiple times to help him throughout the spring swap. What should of taken a few measly hours took almost the entire day and the lack of knowledge relayed to me was baffling to say the least.

These guys are the best. They've helped with tires, alignment, diagnostics and engine repair. Very reasonable prices and never any trouble after repairs. Poor customer service, told me they couldn't fix my car Prescott Tire Pros did it the next day. I'd suggest going to them instead!The owner wants context: here's context I've been taking the same exact car to them for multiple alignments. They say a new machine wouldn't align it. That exact same machine was used at Prescott Tire Pros. The car is a lowered Civic. NOT a race car. I offered to remove what they said was in the way and they would not accommodate they just told me no, even after telling them they just aligned it a few months back (owner States it's a new machine, they checked last time and it worked). I trailer my car because I do use it for dedicated track use... So I wasted 2.5 hours out of my day for them to not even attempt to see if it would work and Prescott Tire Pros did it with the same equipment. YOU HEARD IT FROM THE OWNERS MOUTH THEY DON'T ALIGN LOWERED CARS. maybe they should state that on the phone when you make the appointment. I absolutely was upset and felt then and still feel I have every right to be, my review stands! On top of that you can clearly see he's condescending in his reply, I'm not upset because I didn't get what I want (I'm not 3 also Prescott Tire Pros took care of me) I'm upset because I didn't get what you told me you could do and had done in the past. Nobody reads long reviews anyways so context isn't all that important.

Outstanding service! I will only use their shop in the future. Replaced steering gear and an alignment in less than a day. Family has been using this shop for years and we've always been treated right. Highly reputable and honest work at a fair price.2021 update: now living in Oregon, I'm not able to use this shop anymore so I followed up with them about some of my service records. In business, they say that customer service comes AFTER the sale is made, and Jim's Alignment truly lives up to that standard. Special shout out to Brandon for your help.They advised me on what I should and should not have replaced on my truck well knowing that they won't be able to collect another dollar.They just do the right thing. 5 stars again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm 78 years old and learned more about my car than I've known since I purchased it new. They completed the work quickly and what I would consider a very reasonable cost. If I had the option, my rating would be ****** !!
