The guys at Certified Transmission are the best around. Mike and Paul, and the techs are friendly, honest and always go the extra mile to make sure I'm satisfied. Prices are fair and reasonable even when the diagnosis is a tricky one. For about 20 years now they've been taking care of my vehicles from transmission and differential rebuilds to oil changes and coolant leaks. They've always done me right.

They had my jeep for 8 months. And almost 5,000 dollars later. The check engine light was still on the day I got it back. I have had my jeep back for probably like 7 months and I got an oil change last week, they said I should get my jeep looked at by a mechanic. The mechanic that looked at my jeep said the transmission is going out and could go out any day. So certified auto transmission didn t fix my jeep and now I m out a vehicle after spending almost 5,000 to fix it. I would die before I would ever take a vehicle to this shop again. They re a transmission shop and they gave me my vehicle back with a bad transmission. They have damaged my life beyond repair. I m out a vehicle AND 5,000 dollars. The biggest mistake I ve made in my life is trusting them with my jeep.

I spent over $5000 dollars. I was happy with the service but they didn't even check the fluids on my truck. Very nice people. I would've thought that after spending that much money, they could have at least followed up. I haven't heard from them. I really hope that they care enough to check up. I'm disappointed that they charge more money for a 2 year warranty.

I have always been very satisfied with the entire team at Certified Transmission on all my truck repairs in fact this last time I was given a repair quote of $359.00 and I was only billed for $25.00.Very honest people.

Brought my 2001 F350 Super Duty 7.3 when the transmission finally quit after 215k miles. Justin and Paul kept me posted in the rebuild and found 2 other concerns that needed attention. Got it all done and delivered early as I needed it to hail my 5th wheel for a 300 mile trip. They used heavy duty components at no extra charge. Ran GREAT! Many thanks.

Thank you Certified Transmission Prescott location after chasing a dragon on my fuel pump issues. Great job to Paul and Rick,Mike ,Mason for your terrific mechanic skills. I know it was a nightmare tracking down the fuel sensor issue but you found a brand of fuel pump that worked Delphi. Thank you again. Dwayne

Paul at Certified Transmissions has been a trusted friend for maintenance and repair of my 1994 Ford Bronco as well as my wife's old mini van. They have taken care of me since about 2014 and have performed perfect honest work for me many times. They are trustworthy, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and do quality work. I would give them my highest recommendation to anyone needing either transmission work or any other mechanical work or maintenance on their vehicles. Had transfer case and differential issues. Been a headache for months. Went in to Certified and within 2 weeks they had all my problems fixed and relieved me of my headache. Paul was amazing and patient with all my questions. Certified has definitely made a customer out of me, will be going to them again for any future transmission issues guaranteed!!!!

I went to Prescott to buy a used commuter car for work over the weekend. I purchased a Honda Civic that had not had any transmission maintenance. I added some non-Honda transmission fluid since it was so low, and planned on getting it worked on back in Phoenix.I didn t know these cars required special fluid I went to drive back on Sunday night and the transmission was slipping. I had to be back at the hospital for patients on Monday, so I drove over to Certified Transmission without an appt in a total panic and explained the situation.Paul squeezed me in and flushed and fixed the transmission and had me in and out in a little over an hour, and I made it to the hospital in time. He was truly a lifesaver, they did quality work, and a reasonable price, and are very honest.My dad now uses them for everything and I plan on driving my cars up to Prescott for all needed maintenance. I had my truck towed in after what I believed to be a small accident involving the transmission cooler, which turned out to be a lot bigger of an issue than I first thought. First off, these guys are very professional and careful with the way the handle your vehicle. Secondly, Paul was very polite and helpful, not to mention very generous with working out the price for my repair. And lastly, they did great work replacing the core support, trans cooler, lines, and servicing the driveshaft. At first I did think I was being price gouged, but after the full inspection on what needed to be replaced, I realized how much Certified helped out in the end. I will certainly be back to this shop next time a problem occurs, and I recommend to anyone reading this who may be looking for their best option.

I contacted Paul at Certified Transmissions on a Friday morning and requested him to perform a pre-sale vehicle inspection as I was flying in from out of town. He was extremely nice from the moment he picked up the phone and was extremely helpful. The dealer brought the vehicle to him late in the day, 2 1/2 hours later than requested, but he still managed to perform the inspection before the end of business. So glad I did this as he found major electrical issues with the used vehicle I was about to purchase which ultimately made me walk away from the deal. Highly recommend Paul and his team!

Everyone I dealt with, Mike, Paul and Tara, were very helpful and customer oriented. The transmission in my El Camino had been previously rebuilt and there were some problems that needed to be sorted out. Mike took the time to make sure everything was addressed and repaired to provide a fully functional transmission. I was very happy with the results !Service: Transmission

My wife and I were on a Road trip when we started having troubles with our rig as we were approaching Prescott, then we spotted a sign on the side of the road, "Having Troubles see Certified Transmission." And that is what we did.We were first met by Paul, he made it possible for our rig to be examined without a reservation, He was a great help to us.Then Mike the owner assisted us with the details of how we will start to remedy our problems, first by shuttling us to a great hotel for the night.By mid day the following day he had our rig in fantastic condition, they even found a clunking in the suspension that was easily cured.Usually a road trip break down turns out to be a nightmare, But not when you have such a caring crew from Certified transmission on your side.WE HAD A GREAT DAY and met a nice bunch of guys that got us up a rolling in short order.We will gladly refer others and be a customer of theirs from now on!Thank You Paul and Mike.Brad and Jeannie KnowlesServices: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

After taking my vehicle to 3 different mechanics, including the local Ford dealer in Prescott, who caused more damage to my engine, the folks at Certified Transmissions were the only ones who were able to fix my vehicle. I am grateful for Paul, Tara and the mechanics who were involved in my vehicle repair. Paul went above and beyond the call in customer service. He worked closely with the warranty company to get repairs covered and with the salesman who sold us the vehicle, who also went above and beyond the call, to get these repairs covered as much as possible with a small cost for me. (warranties don't cover rubber hoses). I highly recommend Certified Transmissions and will spread the word. They are #1 in my book!Service: Transmission

Recently needed a rebuild of a 1963 Ford Cruise 0 Matic trans...including hard to find hard parts, as in planetary gear set, clutch plate holders, etc. These folks did a really great job with the classic car and it now runs like new. I was especially happy with the way they handled my car while they had it. It was not left outside overnight and i received it back in fine condition..Very knowledgeable on the older stuff...Highly recommend this shop...

Mike & Paul at Certified Transmissions..Model Customer Service at it's BEST!There character and integrity is reflected in there business.Today while I was waiting for My Dodge Ram trans service, they provided me a business card that let me get a free egg muffin, and coffee @ Rustic Pie!Even Ni shon& Kim made the time great with THEIR Quality Food and Deserts.Came all the way from Dewey and well WORTH IT.I recommend the best and yet affordable!

I have been a Very Satisfied Customer of Certified Transmissions for over 13 years . They are Trust worthy , always explain what needs to be repaired , no hidden cost .. They always use the best lubricants and manufacture parts. I own a Lexus ,and I am very particular who works on my Car . They stand behind their work. I Highly recommend Certified Transmissions, especially to my girlfriends! They are respectful and Honest !

Took my car in for a repair that Galpin wanted to charge me more than twice as much for. Paul was very helpful and my car was done on time. When another part went bad the next day, they took my car back in when their lot was full. There was a small mix up, so it didn't get fixed until the next day, but they got me back on the road for much cheaper than the crooks at Galpin.

They have serviced my car for several years, I have never found a shop before that I trust as much as these guys. They are very courteous and friendly, even pick up my car or give me rides when needed! Recently they even assisted me in selling my car for more than book value since it was so well maintained. Very trustworthy shop for all the women in Prescott area!

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! Unfortunately I had posted a positive review on the Certified Transmissions website only as a courtesy to them before my experience had actually completed because I didn't think for a moment I would have had such a problem when dealing with them.My experience was that even though their expensive repair did not fix the problem with my car as they claimed it would (and they tried twice), they still felt justified in keeping the money I had paid in good faith. I requested a refund rather than continue down an uncertain and even more expensive path with them. Do take care if you choose to deal with this shop.In reading what Certified Transmissions wrote regarding my attempts to retrieve my funds through credit card chargeback and the BBB, let me clarify the situation in both instances.It is generally known that the BBB has a conflict of interest because they are funded by the businesses themselves. There are numerous consumer complains on the web saying they have not been treated fairly as a result. In my case, the documentation relative to the decision of their auto committee was muddied. They said that my complaint was justified but subjective and that Certified Transmissions should have communicated more clearly, but then they basically ignored my complaint, and they justified their position by saying Certified Transmissions had done repairs. Whether or not the repairs fixed the problem was irrelevant.Insofar as the credit card chargeback was concerned, I was told that unless a second opinion letter implicates another shop in wrongdoing, the case doesn't seem to hold much legal water. As anyone knows, that would leave the shop providing such a second opinion open to liability issues.So, do make your own decision when dealing with this shop. They can try to justify their position all they want, but as a consumer, had I read a review like this beforehand and knew whether or not they actually successfully fixed the problem I would be out the money anyway, I would have looked elsewhere immediately rather than take a chance with them.

As always, the semi-annual mechanical inspection and repair of my car was done in a thorough and timely manner; all personnel were friendly, professional, and responsive; and I was ready to go on my way before I could finish the 2nd chapter of my book! Thank you Paul and all you folks who so competently and quickly performed all the much-needed tasks to thoroughly complete the job in a timely manner!!

These guys are great. I've been having a recurrent gear oil smell coming from the area of my transmission. I've been trying to fix it for 6 months and tried everything. They had my car for 3 days, brainstorming what it could be, and barely charged me anything! Thanks Certified Transmission! Monte and Paul rock!
