I called Roy to get an appointment, for a synthetic oil, oil filter, lube and a tire rotation. I got there on time and they were ready for me. I was out in about 45 minutes. Everything was done perfectly. Roy and the crew are great people. I ll be going back for my service there and if I ever need brakes, for sure they re go to get my business!

Shop manager, Roy Lujan, provided excellent service to me when I had an emergency battery replacement. He is very knowledgeable and personable, and his prices are very reasonable. I have had other work done there in the past, and I highly recommend his shop.Manager Roy again went out of his way and provided me with a quick curbside diagnostic regarding some unusual fan noise. This saved me an unnecessary trip down to Scottsdale for warrantee service.

I went to Brake Masters in Prescott Az, the Manager Roy was awesome and his customer service was the BEST! I needed rear pads on my truck. They got me in and out, and went above and beyond my expectations. The price was very fair as well. Thank you

I called this company and told him what was going on with this and where I was at. Roy one of the mechanic guys came down and put one of my Breaks on the driver side. He told me to drive it down to his shop which is only block down to put the passenger side on. He charged me $200 to do it. If you need anything done this is the company you want to go to in my opinion they deserve more than five stars.

Start off with I'm not one that normally leaves reviews with places. Most places I visit are mediocre at best. Today however, I was met with somebody that went above and beyond for myself and my family. I came in today only being able to afford brakes for my truck. No rotors, no wheel bearings, and no extra money for incidentals that may have come up during the inspection. I was in a very bad way. Come to find out after the initial inspection that there was a lot more going on with my truck than just brakes and rotors. There was no way I was going to be able to afford all of the extra work. Roy was more than willing to work with me on my situation and my budget. He did a huge solid for myself and my family. He went above and beyond in a world that barely gets up to par. I cannot thank you enough for the win that you gave myself and my family today. Words can never express that. Because of what I was shown today, I trust break masters 100%. They will have my business more than likely for the rest of my life because of this. I can think of no better shop than brake masters in Prescott, Arizona and I will be recommending you to anybody that needs any kind of service work done. Thank you again. I've never written a review for anywhere before but I had to for the gentlemen over at Brake Masters. Roy, the manager, is fantastic. Everyone who works there is so helpful, kind, and non-judgmental regarding my lack of car knowledge. They are by far the best guys in town to take your car/truck to. Roy made absolute sure that my truck was ready for my road trip, something I'm extremely grateful for. So far my truck is operating as if I'd bought it off the Jim Click Dodge Dealership lot in Tucson Auto Mall back on March, 2016. Thank you Roy and gentlemen for making all the repairs and giving my White Dove a good once over making sure the truck was fully road trust worthy and all I will have to worry about for 12,0000 miles or months is oil changes or longer as your warranty states. Roy and his professional crew repaired the brakes on my Suburu Forester to precision standards. We are fortunate in Prescott to have a high quality and honest repair center. Brought in two cars to have brakes checked and one for a/c check. After inspecting the first car they said nothing was wrong and there wouldn't be any charges. Car 2 needed front brakes and a/c recharge. Very satisfied with the work and would highly recommend them.

I have been here twice for brakes (two separate vehicles) and am very happy with the customer service and how quickly they got me in both times. The manager, Roy is extremely kind and honest! He also has some wisdom! :-)They were able to diagnose and fix it on the spot, I needed new brakes and rotors for the front. (He was the second opinion, the place I knew I wanted to take it to but tried to go to the preferred place for my warranty) He called my warranty place, SilverRock, and it was paid for as they worked on it. All said and done within 24 hours of calling him to make the appointment! Amazing customer service!Absolutely worth your time and money! Fair and honest! Timely and efficient! So, my daughter needed brakes done on her 05 Camry.She just moved to Arizona 4 months agoShe told her boyfriends father and he set up with your shop.The work was done quickly, correctly, and fair priced. Also, I was able to pay for it on my card, here in Virginia. Her bf dad went and picked up the car, handled the transaction, and had nothing g but positive reviews , and thanks.What caught my attention, was reading reviews, responses, and the honesty and integrity. I am also a retired vet, understand business and how things work. The one dope who was so negative, is nothing new. Unfortunately, there are those people who are so negative on everything. There's no pleasing people like that. If they have time to post such a negative review, it just shows how they are all the time.But , what I like first, was the response. You are correct. There is no doubt they were rude and obnoxious to everyone there. I'm glad you stood up and told them, don't ever come back. Well done !I dealt with you from 2000 miles away, and couldn't be happier. I have no problem in in leaving a word of thanks. If I had an issue, I would deal with it personally, with dignity, and let that be the end. Unfortunately, some people are so hell bent on the world, that they fail to realize that their negativity is what creates it. Cannot say enough good things about Brake Masters and the team here! Roy, the manager, is phenomenal with his customer service, as well as the rest of the team! Always prompt, always honest (and my car has unfortunately needed a lot of work), and always affordable!

The crew at Brake Masters is amazing! I had a brake issue on one of my rental rigs and they were able to get my vehicle back up and running very quickly! James was very communicative and moved things around to squeeze me in and get the truck out on the road again. They helped turn what could have been a disaster, into just a small inconvenience. I needed help finishing some routine maintenance on my vehicle, when I approached Brake Masters they had an opening for me to bring my vehicle in. Roy, I think he's the man in charge, was friendly and I felt honest about what he recommended and what work needed to be done. I was out of there in an hour not even. Unbeknownst to me I created more issues with the work I did and was able to get my vehicle back to them same day, luckily. Again, I felt I had a great interaction with Roy and another guy, Curtis, and they went to work on my vehicle. They kept me informed and even stayed late to try and finish the work on my vehicle same day, which I greatly appreciate, but it didn't happen. First thing in the morning I got my car back, everything was perfect.I know part of my experience was based on luck, being able to get my vehicle in twice in the same day. The charges were in the ball park of what I was expecting, willing to pay, and could afford. But I would say the best part was Roy. I greatly appreciate the work he and his team did for me and how much effort, I feel , they put into my vehicle.10/10 would come here again.

I've taken five different vehicles to Brake Masters in the past few years. They've done everything from simple oil changes and brake jobs to replacing thermostats, radiators, power steering pumps, and power window regulators - and they recently fixed an exhaust leak due to broken bolts on the manifold, which had to be a pain.Every time their services were rendered with a positive attitude, honesty, punctuality, fair prices, professionalism and quality of work. I highly recommend Roy and his team for your automotive needs.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

This auto shop is top notch! Professional, efficient, competent and clean. You are greeted with a smile, given honest, frank answers, and the price is fair. We have two cars. One is a 2007 Camry. Other shops have done work that has been deficient compared to Brake Masters for the same services. I trust them with my vehicles. Check them out if you are looking for reliable work at a decent price. Happy traveling!

Brought my '95 Dodge Class B RV in for an oil change, lube, and overall inspection last week and really had a great experience. I interacted primarily with Roy (Shop Manager), and his customer service is above-and-beyond. He patiently listened to all my questions and concerns, offered thoughtful analysis and advice, and made me feel I was in good hands. I also had a chance to talk with both James and Tony (the other two gentlemen who had a look at my vehicle), and both struck me as knowledgeable guys who'll put the customer first. If you need an honest, customer service-oriented shop in Prescott, head over to Brake Masters. Thanks, guys!

Great place for oil change and honest techs. Tony did an excellent job on both of my vehicles. I left my car with him and told him to just change the air filter if it looked bad. He could have easily charged me, but said it looked very good and I didn't need it. I'd have never known the difference, and it's that kind of honesty that will keep me coming back. Sure, customers should expect that kind of service, but we all know it's not as common as it should be. Plus, the prices are great.

I was charged $112/hr and$175ea. for drums. $95.ea at Napa! High retail! Was told the prices were how they stay in business. I say good luck with that. Too many good shops in Prescott to EVER go back again for ANYTHING!

I would leave ZERO stars if I could. Be very, very careful before getting your oil changed here. Unfortunately, they did not torque my drain plug and also left off the gasket which resulted in the drain plug falling out and my engine seizing on the highway. My car was brand new with only 9,000 miles on it. They did not take ANY responsibility for ANY of this and actually blamed me for going over the mileage some. However, we were told explicitly by several mechanics (including the dealership) that this would have never happened if the oil change had been done correctly. I would have appreciated some empathy and understanding at the VERY least. Rather, I was met with hostility and aggression from day one. Eric (owner) threatened to file a restraining order on me for calling and asking for a receipt (second time I ever called - the first one he sent was aggressively circled and highlighted)... absolute trash. Roy (manager) and Eric are both disgusting, unprofessional, and classless individuals. Not sure how they can sleep at night knowing how horrible they operate their business.Edit: as you can see from Eric s response below. He is the most hostile, disrespectful, and unprofessional business owner I have ever come in contact with in my life. Yells and screams at women... you have YET to take any ownership for the ways in which you treat your customers. You are blatantly rude and disrespectful.That is what you call a respectful, honest, and hardworking business? SO MANY lies and errors in your response. Oh and before you call me a "scumbag" or typical millennial ...maybe you should try to work on your grammar and spelling as well.Service: Oil change

They did a full brake inspection in about 30 minutes and replaced my front 2 brakes and rotors in less than 1 hour despite being short staffed. Roy was super nice, and very upfront/honest about what my car needed. I didnt feel like i was being scammed into paying for repairs i didnt need.100% would go back and recommend to anyone in the area!

I ve used this shop many time. Oil change,maintenance, breaks and so far I had great experience. Today I was going to drop my vehicle off for maintenance and the gentlemen that checked me in James was so rude and pretty much annoyed I was there that I took my keys back and left. Probably he was having a bad day but I work in the customer service field as well and in bad days I put my smiley face on and treat customers the way they should be treated.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I ve seen some poor reviews saying that the service was bad or that james was rude but I can assure you, this place is great and everyone has their off days. Anyone who has taken the time and to talk with James would know that he isn t trying to come off as rude. As for Roy, he knows what he s doing and is a very kind and personable person. I genuinely appreciate the people who run this shop and their service is good and honest

Customer service is horrible. I called and made an appointment and advised them I had a discount coupon. Upon arrival they advise they do not honor corporate brake master coupons. They have brake master written all over the outside of their building using brake master corporate images for advertisement yet say they will not honor their coupons outrageous. Such poor service.

Important to note this business changed hands a couple of years ago. I've had several oil changes done here as well as some brake work and other minor repairs. They have always been quick, helpful, and seemingly honest. I had a noise problem they couldn't fix but tracked down where they thought it was, and sent me to an exhaust specialist, who was able to access and replace the offending part for $25. I'm still going here for work with my 3 cars; so far so good.

Attention any and all Prescott residents do not take your vehicles here. They have a bad rapsheet. Look at there reviews especially in buckeye. These guys are a joke. Do not take your cars here. Look at their reviews. Class act lawsuits going on gary harper is involved also check the BBB also terry from corporate brings his personal business to work like a relative dying and then use that asxan excuse

I bought all four new rotors and pads from here roughly a year ago. Their manager Roy even helped give me a ride home and picked me up while I waited, which certainly seemed above and beyond.I had a portable jack stand blow out and the car dropped on the rotor. They took a look at the damage and said there was thankfully no need to repair. They even bent back a caliper cover that was scraped up from the compact spare all free of charge.Service: Brakes
