I am very thankful for the whole team at Action Automotive. Their service is professionally done with in a timely manner depending on the vehicle and what needs to be fixed. May God bless their company and team workers* My car starts just fine with no problems after the battery has been replaced and now I don t have to worry about jump starting my car everyday. Thank you! Our dog Brownie says thank you!

I took my neighbor to pick up her car yesterday. She highly recommended Action Automotiveto me. She had nothing but good things to say about them.I met Jeff and Justin and they were very nice and personable.And they seemed very organized.I scheduled a appointment for an oil change and already received a text to remind me.Thank you so much..

Eric, Justin, Jeff, and everyone else who I had encounter with were amazing. Very knowledgeable staff and went the extra mile in assisting me with a couple issues. They also did a thorough inspection and found some things that did not actually need to be replaced, therefore saving me money in the process.Will definitely only use Action Automotive for all my future car repair needs. Thank you again for all your assistance.

Action Automotive's business model has changed dramatically in the past year. I no longer send friends to their business, in fact, I strongly discourage it. Little to no management oversight on diesel work done by an inexperienced mechanic, resulting in cylinder head studs installed in the wrong position, failure to inspect injectors during head rebuild resulting in catastrophic engine failure, which Action declined to take responsibility for. Did a long block rebuild, charged 24 hours of work when book calls for 18, and have been fixing errors since. Alternator destroyed during reassembly which the mechanic knew and which the owner admits he must have know. Coolant hoses left loose. Wiring harness out of position and not secured to the block. Small parts broken during rebuild without replacing or notifying owner. All turbo tract connections left loose. Long block rebuild now has 1,000 miles on it and it leaks oil badly, leaks coolant, and will require an oil pan and rear seal cover redo at my expense. Employees hostile at being called out on their poor workmanship, and now owner and office manager both hostile because I dared to call out the errors and place blame on their inadequate work. Save yourself grief and look elsewhere for your auto repair needs. Action is not what it used to be.

Justin was very nice, friendly and professional. Unfortunately the job was a day and half over estimate. And so was the price by more than 100 dollars. I did appreciate them showing me the part that was bad at the end to assure me the work needed to be done. I would have given 5 stars if I felt that they had been fair about being late on the job and over their estimates.

Look no further- best kept secret in automotive repair. You just think they are just a alleyway shop~They are a Alleyway shop that is HONEST!Justin and Jeff were very kind, helpful caring and did I say HONEST!Yes Honest!!!!!!I stopped by and asked some questions about my 2010 tahoe with 330,000 miles. (Another mechanic told me I needed a new engine.) Guess what No New engine needed. Not only did they get the truck up and running. They gave me a very honest estimate to repair other issues.Highly recommended on service, honesty to get your vehicle up and running.One more thing ~~did I mentioned HONEST!!!!!

I have several vehicles here in Prescott. From usual maintenance (oil changes and tire rotations etc), I have become painfully aware of shops that do the bare minimum, charge high prices, upcharge where ever they can...most reading this know exactly what I'm speaking of.The lack of basic knowledge in the automotive repair shops is abundantly clear. I've spun my share of wrenches as a heavy equipment mechanic, so maybe I'm jaded in my view of these shops. All that being said...I own a restomod Chevy. Lots of problems with fueling, oil leaks and little stuff the builder just failed to perform correctly. As an old guy now, I am unable to do this things myself. Having taken the car to a supposed expert in the field....let's just say....that's another story entirely.Let's jump ahead....after cruising the internet, I stumbled on Action Automtive Repair. Read all their ratings and made an appointment. Dropped the car off, met the crew and left it in their hands. You can judge a business by the front office...clean and organized. Shop was busy, no junk, no accumulated Trash from other projects....all of you know what I mean.A day or so later ( Eric -owner, Justin - front office and Steven - Mechanic gave us a full assessment of what our car needed - fueling issues and oil leaks....Other shops couldn't fix!!!90 year old car with moder mill and running gear with 10k miles on the clock and admittedly beyond my ability to fix.Today: new Sniper2 fuel injection system, oil leaks resolved and runs like a 383 stroker should. So, lengthy as my review is...you need to know where the real automotive repair shop is...Action Automotive Repair is % my go to.Thanks guys!@

Justin and Action automotive are the best in town. I won t be taking my dodge diesel anywhere else. The replaced the transmission, did new breaks and installed some stepsides. Price was good and timeline met perfect. After driving home from Phoenix 2 weeks ago, the check engine light came on while getting groceries. I stopped at O'Reilly and the code said it was a turbocharge issue. I made an appt with Action Auto after reading reviews. They told me the intercooler had a hole in it, which caused the failure of turbocharger 3K was the quote. I couldn't afford that.I am blessed that I have mechanic friends in the valleywho offered to put in parts for free. They came up to get my car. They cleared the code, got a smoke machine to see where the holes were, and hooked up the code translator thing to see exactly what car was saying.They found a piece of cardboard. No holes. Turbocharger is running perfectly. Even my ac is working better (yes, I run AC year round). Needless to say, I won't be returning to Action and wish I had the $177 diagnostic charge back.Their response below is 100% lies. I was not provided documents or photos. I have a receipt,that's it.If documents, etc. were texted on 2/20, then they were never received as my phone has high security to not receive texts from #s I do not know. They are welcome to email the documents to the email address on file or post them on this edit.FTR my car is still fine and has made 3 trips to Phx and back with no issues or repairs.

Eric and Justin run a great shop. We've used them several times, and they do amazing work, are incredibly honest, and communicate very well. I highly recommend them for anything in the way of vehicle maintenance and repairs

On Thursday Oct. 12th coming home from an errand I saw that my car was very hot, I carefully drove the 6 miles home and allowed the car to cool off, opened the cap and saw that the radiator was empty. I filled the radiator up, arranged for Action to look into it and in a short time they told me the that the radiator had blown up. They took me home, stopped to pick up my dog from the groomer on the way. Around 10:00 am Friday morning Justin called to tell me my car was ready for pick up, how much better can that be? Awesome! I have used Action Auto for many years and think they are the best!

You guys went above and beyond with being timely about repairing the issue and then making a special trip to let me pick the Jeep up on a Sunday because our son is getting married and it was the only day we could drive up from the valley! I have been a customer since 2017 and have 3 other family members as customers here too. I am always given the best service, from squeezing me in for minor things to full service. Since I live 45 minutes away, when I'm in town it's good to have something checked out that I am concerned about, then if needed I schedule the work to be done if they can't address it that day. This company is the best. Had them replace my drive shaft in my Kia car. Something was rattling underneath my car. They repaired it. And gave me a big discount. You'll never know how much they mean to me. 100% please go see these guys, they are awsome. Know what there doing Thank you Eric and Justin for a fantastic job.

Action Automotive is the best mechanic shop in Prescott! They are so kind, so honest and they genuinely care about their customers. You feel like you are part of their family. I can't speak highly enough of Action Automotive Repair. I was traveling through the area on vacation, my car was having multiple issues. Kayla was extraordinarily helpful working me in the schedule, and keeping me updated at every turn. Justin was a true hero. He and his mechanics work thorough in diagnosing the issues, and carefully explained the mechanical issues and sent very helpful photos to help me understand what is going on. He figured out ways to save me money on the repairs, and explain which things were urgent and which things could wait. These kind folks even offered to drop me off and pick me up, so that I wouldn't have to pay for taxi service.
