They've patched a flat tire for me for free twice now and they work quickly. Only complaint is that the serviceman at the front desk was a little abrasive and seemed annoyed. Still would recommend this place if you need any work done on your tires, especially if you just need a patch!

We were in the area for a hunt and picked up a razor blade out on a forest road. Paul and the guys were very helpful and offer free tire patches. Unfortunately our tire was beyond repair. They were able to get an exact replacement in the next morning and had it installed and my tires rotated by mid day. Price for tire and install was very competitive and they did the rotation for free.

Great service. I can trust Sun Valley to do a good job fixing my car at a reasonable price.I will definitely be coming back the next time I have car trouble.

It started with The battery light coming on my dashboard and ended with a total failure of my vehicle with both a dead battery and a dead alternator. I cannot say enough great things about Sun Valley Tire and Auto Service in Prescott Valley. I called two different places that said there was no way to get an alternator for my car until the next day. That includes the Toyota dealership itself. This guy got on the phone called a bunch of places and was able to locate my alternator and then said bring it over and he will get it put in so I don t have to stay up here. They got me in, charged me an incredibly fair price and were some of the kindest people in an auto repair place I have ever delt with. They were slammed. Completely packed. And still took the time to appreciate my issue and help me out! Cannot thank of them enough!! Rick Witham You and your crew are getting pizza on me!!

As the owner of a shop in the Glendale area, these guys are top notch. Paul, Rick and the crew treated us extremely well. We broke down on the 89, they were the only place answering the phone, glad they did. Treated us like family, thanks from the Clear Diamond Diesel crew!

Told me one quote over the phone when i got there they wanted 40 more dollars. I spoke to the manager Mike and he would not charge labor he suggested the warrenty so i added that. So my understanding is that if anything happens to the tire its covered

Great place to take your car for repairs or upkeep. Paul is terrific, thorough, and honest. He will explain and guide you through the repairs. I was new to the area and got lucky to find them for the upkeep on our cars. I will deffinately keep going there for future repairs.S.H.

These folks did an AWESOME job for me when I was in an emergency situation. I was up from Tucson when my radiator blew. They were able to get a new one in (and on a holiday weekend, no less) and stayed AFTER closing time to check out other issues of concern -- things my previous mechanics in Tucson NEVER told me -- perhaps because they never bothered to look. You folks in Prescott Valley are so BLESSED to have them. They do OUTSTANDING work at a fair price and with a GREAT warranty. If only they were in Tucson!!!!

Sun Valley has been amazing to us today. I was driving to pick up my son from school when my car completely died. I was stuck in the heat with my 3 kids in the car and a dead car and I called Sun Valley and asked if the tow truck could drop my car off there and they said they were swamped and completely booked out. The owner came on the phone and asked my situation and I explained how my car died and I had my 3 month old baby, 4 year old and 6 year old stuck on the road and he immediately empathized and said we could have it dropped off and he would fit us in and figure something out. My battery was completely dead and they had to fully charge it before they could diagnose the issue and they took care of us right away and when their mechanics were too busy to make the repair, the owner himself went out to the garage and started the repair himself before they closed for the day. Paul went above and beyond for us and even catered to my kids, giving them crayons and paper to draw with while we waited. I m beyond impressed and grateful for their amazing service provided.

Prior to a long distance rv trip, knowing new tires were needed, we went to Sun Valley and were greeted by Rick at the front desk. He was very knowledgeable to what we needed and made the entire process very pleasant. I will definitely be going back for all my auto needs and would highly recommend them.

We broke down just after the Sunset Point exit at 11am on a Thursday. Called AAA, SV was a recommended shop and was towed to their location. Rick, Charlie and Paul all amazing. Made sure we had a place to stay while part was ordered and received. A special thanks to Jesus helping with my Hensley hitch. My drive train issue was quickly diagnosed repaired within 1 hour after part received. Their knowledge is incredible and we'll make a special trip yearly to have them continue service.

I just had a level kit & front end work done on my F150 from a dealership in Utah. The truck started making noise on the front end. I took it into Sun valley in PV where they were able to diagnose the problem & have it back to me within a few hours. Thank you Rick & the suspension mechanic !!!

While visiting in Prescott Valley, I realized that there was a slow leak in one of my relative's tires. She had bought a set of tires a few years ago at Sun Valley Tire and Auto Service. I went in there and I had great service from the man at the desk, the manager. He let me know that due to a nail that was near the rim, that tire had to be replaced. He told me he could order the same tire as the other three tires and have it by the next day. I came in the next morning after they called me and they did a good job of installing the new tire. Stop waiting room is a nice place to wait when their servicing your car. Thanks for the great service.

Had a brief but satisfying experience at this place. After having been turned away by several other places without an appointment I was able to get my car on the lift here and have a pre-purchase inspection done quickly and free of charge. They even let me peek under the car myself and take pictures.

It would be an understatement to say I ve received Outstanding service and support from the SunValley tire and auto shop. Paul and his incredibly professional team have been more than helpful throughout this whole process. Communication has been wonderful between the two of us, so it eases all worries. Paul truly made me feel like family and cared about my situation genuinely. Lately life has been feeling like one huge beat down but now in my corner of the ring I have coach Paul telling me to throw a couple of jabs back. Thank you ,thank you, thank you!

Sun Valley Tire & Auto Service is amazing!!! Their customer service is superb!!! They put the customer before the cash. They are honest, communicative, and do the best to get your vehicle in quality working condition. They won t upsell you like a dealership. Paula is super friendly , Paul is informative, courteous, and helpful, and Rick goes beyond in welcoming and customer service. Like any business in this day and age they are understaffed, but the staff they have is exemplary in their work. It might take you a little longer to get your car, but it will be worth it! I did get my car in a reasonable amount of time, just putting this in there for those who except a day result. That s not sensible and should not be expected or demanded. Can t wait to use them again for a tune-up, no large repairs soon! :)

Rick and Paul are awesome. Company does great work. They don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. They do all the work on my commercial vehicle. They will even counsel you NOT to do expensive work if it is not necessary. Most honest shop I have ever worked with. Highly recommend.

I was driving on hwy 69 and when passing the intersection of Lake Valley began hearing very loud banging noise coming from the front of the car, very scary. I dropped off the car after being advised they would try to get to it today. Only a couple of hours or so they called and had discovered the bottom of the bumper had come loose and was dragging on the street and there would be no charge after they fixed the problem. I am so grateful I was nearby when I needed help. They were super helpful and nice.

What an awesome place to go! I needed a transmission fluid flush and was pricing around, the dealerships are always so expensive. I had called Sun Valley Tire & from the very first phone call, I was incredibly happy with the customer service. I decided to bring my car in & again I was greeted with friendly faces & my car was ready when they said it would be. I am extremely happy with the service of my car. The team at Sun Valley are all so friendly and professional. I will definitely be bringing my car back for any future services!

These guys are amazing! Didn't treat me like a "female" (talk down to/ talked to like I'm unintelligent) which happens more often than not! Explained everything, worked me up a quote, and got me in and out in no time! HIGHLY recommend!Thank you Paul for the great experience!!

Don and Paul are top notch. (Honest and resourceful and are willing to help the customer out even if that means losing business) I mainly use them to change oil and with Veteran discount, it s great. Bought tires before and replaced brakes, that s about all I ll do here. I like to hang around and watch and to be present if an issue is brought up. Had 2 new service writers today, checked in with one of them at 10, he read off what the computer said I was in for, after scheduling a week before, it was for an oil change and alignment check. I acknowledged that was correct and confirmed I would be waiting in the lobby. My car wasn t moved for 1 hour, ok, not the biggest deal. 1 hour went by after they started on my car and I asked how the alignment check went, I was told they had to have the oil filter brought in from their parts location and that s why it was taking so long (I thought telling them my car make and model would have helped them be a bit more prepared for simple things like having the right oil filter ready when I scheduled the appointment). Not what I d asked but I figured he was saying that put the alignment check back. 30 minutes went by and as I was checking out I asked again how the alignment check went and the same new guy who checked me in told me that I hadn t requested one and that it would take some more time if I wanted it done. I know my alignment is off and would have gladly had them align it, but telling me I hadn t requested it after it was in their system that I had, I figured I d take my vehicle elsewhere. I really want to like this place, I love the shop talk atmosphere with the old timers who come in. After this experience and a previous time finding tools left in my engine bay, I figure it s time to move on and see if I can find a more professional car service shop.

My husband and I took our truck in to sun valley auto a little over a month ago for an oil change (which took 1.5 hours even with an appointment). Two days after the oil change, we noticed a severe leak in the oil when there was no leak before. We noticed all the oil was dripping from the filter. We were on our way up to Utah, and could not bring it back to sun auto. When we got to Utah we brought our truck into jiffy lube to find out sun valley auto had cross threaded the filter and destroyed the thread plate, which we now have to replace. We had heard good things about sun valley auto and are highly disappointed this is the experience we have had. It is super frustrating and we are very unimpressed that an experienced mechanic shop would make this mistake.

We got a quickly leaking puncture in our tire while between Phoenix and Prescott Valley. Went to a gas station to change the tire and they recommended Sun Valley Tire. We drove 25 minutes and was greeted at the front desk by Rick, who was lively and promptly came outside with us to check if the tire was repairable. It was, and they had it fixed for no cost in less than 20 minutes. Everybody we interacted with was a pleasure to talk to and very welcoming. Our short time spent in their lobby found us in the company of other customers who also were in a good mood to chat. Our experience could not have been more seamless, helping us hit the road in a shorter amount of time than it took to drive there.

This is one of the best shops, not just in Prescott, but honestly in the state. I've been to quite a few, being as I've had over 9 vehicles in the last like 7 years. Both times that I've come to Sun Valley, I've had nothing but the best customer service, work, and pricing. Always feel like I'm getting the better end of the deal, which is nice for a mechanic shop! Highly recommend 100%

Update: I'm still coming to these guys and always will! From small stuff to big stuff they take care of you in an honest and respectful manner. I absolutely adore them!These guys are the most caring and professional mechanics in the area. They have won my patronage time and time again. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else.

Great shop!I broke down in a work van a couple miles from this shop in Prescott Valley on the way to a important job site.On the phone they said they would fit me in and were super understanding to me being on a deadline(the 1st couple shops I called did not seem to care about my predicament or deadlines). After limping my van to Sun Valley repair I was nervous cause I could see they were very busy.But they had my van up in the air within minutes of my arrival! Soon after they had diagnosed my issue, had send their own driver to pick up quality OEM replacement parts from dealership, power washed undercarriage to remove trans fluid that had sprayed everywhere, fixed my issues and had me back on the road in just a few hours! At a extremely fair price.I do a lot of work in Prescott and will now go out of my way to use Sun Valley when I have any maintenance and repair needs.Great shop!Great Mechinics!Great people!

They used to be very honest - the best place in town. Always a pleasure to come there, I knew that I was getting the best price and wasn't getting cheated. Otto was supervising all of the mechanics himself. All of the mechanics were super knowledgeable, very honest.In the last year or two, things have changed for the worse.. the mechanics are always trying to replace parts that don't need replacing and telling me that the tires were rotated when, in fact, they were not.To test this, I marked all of the tires with numbers on the inside of the wheel.. and after TWO of the last tire rotations, NOT ONCE were the tires rotated. Also, I decided to do a coolant and transmission fluid flush elsewhere and bring the car in for an oil change to Sun Valley next time.. and STILL they recommended that the coolant and A/T fluid were dirty and needed replacing. Makes you wonder if they actually change the oil or just let it go dirty, as it will cause more expensive repairs for them down the road.I'm done with this place.. not sure what happened, but now most of the mechanics are just a bunch of crooks. If you want an honest place to do your maintenance, do yourself a favor and find someone else.
