1/17/24 local dealership inspected my 2011 jeeps differential noting metal shaving in the lube. Also said OEM parts are no longer available, we can not repair. Desperate I contacted Mike, he said bring it in I'll fix it. I did and he did. Mike, thank you for being my only hope you are a true 5 star.

Recently a close friend volunteered to take on the huge project of replacing the transmission, starter, clutch, and left half shaft axle in my 2000 VW beetle all in my garage. But last week he got impossibly stuck when he could not get the old transmission to drop down, even though it was completely disconnected from the engine; also, he did not have (and could not find) a necessary tool that would reach into the new clutch kit he had purchased. I called my regular mechanic, Dustin Tonneson at Mountainview Autowerks, who could not do the work - but referred me to Mike s Transmission Pros. (Prescott Valley Transmission was also suggested; however, when I contacted them their front office person said she would talk to the mechanics and call me back, but she never did )We were desperate since the car is my only vehicle, so I was very relieved when Mike said they could start on it that same day if we got it there! After securing the transmission, and getting the wheels back on so that it could be loaded onto a tow truck, the beetle was hauled to Mike s Transmission Pros. To my delight, we not only found Mike and his mechanic Tony to be very personable, but were surprised that the process of replacing the transmission and other items was completed even earlier than expected. I cannot recommend this business highly enough, because they were (literally!) the answer to our prayers.Service: Transmission

Went to Mike in May this year in my c class Chevy rv with damaged transmission. Mike quoted $4200 including 24 month warranty to rebuild the transmission, after I had been quoted $6400 elsewhere.His mechanics were great and rebuilt the transmission over about 36 hours. I stayed in the hotel across the road for one night and Mike allowed me to park outside the shop for a couple of nights over the weekend. The transmission is now running smoothly. Mike is fantastic! My truck broke down on Rte 17 while traveling from Sedona to San Diego while towing a trailer. I also had my wife and 3 children in the truck. I called Mike from the side of the road and asked if he could help me out. Long story short, Mike did a complete diagnostic check on my truck as soon as we arrived at no charge. He determined there wasn't a problem with my truck's transmission and took the time to personally call another mechanic and asked if they could get me in that day (Rye Automotive....awesome guys). They did and we were able to make it to San Diego that evening. I cannot thank Mike enough....we were fortunate to meet him. He's one of the good guys!!Service: Transmission

Mike has been so helpful! We brought our Ford Freestyle to him thinking it was the transmission. Turns out it was the catalytic converter and a couple other issues. Mike and his crew got it fixed quickly and efficiently. Mike operates his business with honesty and integrity - qualities that are rare these days. My wife left a review, but I wanted to as well. The transmission on our F350 Super Duty was shot. Mike and his crew rebuilt it and beefed it up with a better torque converter. It now shifts great...made the trip back to Nevada smoothly.We broke down on a trip, and it was challenging for us to get back to Arizona to pick the truck up. Mike kept it safe, and was even available to pick me up at the airport if needed. That is exceptional service. You can trust this shop to do the job right, and at a fair price. Thanks again, Mike and crew!

Super nice and knowledgeable. I had to go do a pest control that was need the same time I made an appointment with Mike. He said to do the job and come back. As soon as I returned the tech took my keys and did the reflash right there and now. All the other shops said I had to leave my truck there. Definitely highly suggest these guys. Hands down the best in the quad cities. Fast service like I do my pest control business.

Any time you're talking about a transmission, you're talking cost; so, it's critical that you get what you pay for and that you know your odds. Mike was transparent and fair with us from tge beginning and communicated at critical decision points. He provide alternatives and ultimately his opinion. We made our decision based on his assessment and our cost-pain threshold. The payoff was a car that works better than when we bought it. Thanks Mike! If we need transmission work again (fingers crossed we won't) we'll come back.

Mike s shop was the 4th mechanic I had been to to figure out what was wrong with my transmission. He was able to immediately tell me what was wrong and gave me 2 quotes based on what they found when they got in to take the transmission apart. He called me and told me everything that was wrong and the quotes did not change. Later he determined an additional part was needed unrelated to the transmission and didn t charge me for it. The car runs like new. Great warranty, excellent customer service. Quick, knowledgeable, and an expert in his field. I will always be coming back in the future if I need to. One of the three shops we found (out of over 20 calls) that was able to do internal transmission repairs as well as rebuild/replace, in-house. Also, every time I called, the owner, Mike himself answered the phone. We ended up needing our transmission rebuilt but we were glad to have the option if it was a simple part replacement, internally. The entire experience was so smooth. Ahead of schedule, below the competitors low-end estimation, and we were able to "shop local" (which is always a plus!). Overall...highly recommend Mike's Transmission Pros!

Mike was amazing to work with, and eliminated the anxiety surrounding trying to get our vehicle repaired from out of state. He even kept our truck safe, after the repairs were completed, while we worked at getting it home. Mike is amazing, after contacting several other places to have our cars transmission rebuilt, we decided Mike would be best after we were referred to him from PV Hot Rod. He did a great job, and although it took about a week to get parts, Mike kept us updated on the progress and any price changes etc. Our car is running great and when we picked it up, he even had it washed for us! I have a 07 GT500 that the clutch went out in. I took it to Mike's because they were recommended by a co-worker. With all the parts problems out there now. Be patient with Mike. It is not his fault, lol. They Made the Shelby how I wanted it and they did a great job. Absolutely no problems. Had car towed to Mike's after experiencing transmission failure. Inspection indicated a rebuild was necessary. Took a while, then everything does today due to supply issues, but back on the road now and running and shifting like new. Before the tach read 2500 rpms at 70 mph, now tachs 2200 rpms at 70 mph, which provided an increase in gas mileage. Communications was great throughout the whole process. Would recommend Mike's to anyone in need of transmission service.Service: Transmission

An honest Transmission repair shop with Integrity!Mike was great to work with... He's very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.My 2001 Dodge went in for a transmission rebuild. Mike and his Master Tech discovered the transmissions lifespan was cut short from a previous rebuild @ an unknown repair shop. It was cut short because the other repair shop installed the wrong valve body, which caused premature wear and damage to the transmissions internal parts.Not only did Mike catch that error and correct it, he also sourced missing support brackets and misc. bolts and hardware that were missing.The shop reached out to me with their progress and updates frequently - they really went above and beyond.I would highly recommend Mike and his Techs - their a modest shop with, "Under Sell and Over Deliver" integrity!!Service: Transmission

I had bad experience with sitting on hwy 69 for 4-1/2 hours at night waiting for AAA. Never came. I was Very upset andMike was real nice and helped me out with transmission, then motor mount was found bad. Then warning/computer lights would not go out. Alternator was bad, then radiator had a hole. Unexpectedly I have a lot of new parts.Mike went beyond his job in transmissions and following thru to help me! Having trouble shifting so I brought my car in. Mike gave me several different quotes. Once Mike found out I was in a tight spot and needed the car the repair cost jumper higher than anything he quoted me. I asked if I could buy a transmission with a warranty and have them install it and Mike said "no I already ordered the parts."
