Last week, I noticed the house batteries in our motorhome weren't holding a charge and since they were 5 years old we decided to go ahead and replace them. I obtained a quote from 3 of the local RV dealerships and they were all about the same; $1,200 for 4 new 6v batteries. This price included labor to install them.I was just about ready to go with the lowest of the quotes but happened to drive by the Batteries Plus store on my way to run some errands. I've never been to a Batteries Plus and assumed (like a lot of people) that they are a distributor and didn't sell direct to the public. I figured they only sold to car and RV dealerships who bought them in large quantities. It might sound stupid, but a lot of people assume the same thing.But since I was driving right past them I figured it was worth a shot so I stopped by.I ended up with a quote (from Ryan) for $655. For the same batteries the dealerships were going to (mark up) and install for me for almost twice that!I told them I wasn't able to drive the motorhome to their location and they didn't hesitate to come to me for the install! The level of customer service I got from these guys is very rare these days. Clearly, the few negative reviews here are employees/owners of local competitors.Anyone who has ever met with any of the guys in this shop would agree. It's basically just the owner, David, and 2 other guys who've been there for years. Batteries Plus has been at this same location for 16 years.I will recommend them to all of my family and friends.

Definitely deserves 5 star . My Lexus stopped working, I called dealer in phoenix and made appointment today. On the way to phoenix I saw butteries plus , thought maybe deserve a shot. Jon listened to me and checked my battery status and said it is not in good condition. I told I bought one from Costco yesterday and he then installed it . It is much cheaper than the quote I got from the dealership. Thank you Jon for making my day. I strongly recommend this store.

Every time I show up all the staff there is friendly and knowledgeable. They always help me get the batteries out of my truck without hesitation. Any time I have questions they are always willing to answer them. Thank you for all the help not only with batteries but with car remotes, bulbs, and great prices. Keep up the great work.

I actually posted this yesterday but seems like they weren't happy with my honest review and removed it. So, putting it back for all the "old" people to be aware of.Repost: I Purchased a premium Duracell battery ($269.00) in Oct and yesterday the battery was dead. Took it into the store and a tall man immediately became very rude telling me all the things I did to ruin the battery. When I protested his assessment, he then said " all the people your age" are a problem! And because the battery only had 6 volts said I was out of luck, just read the sign on the wall. So buyer beware of this location....*****UPDATE 3/11/24*****The manager actually called me (I learned he was who I had my confrontation with) and under a calmer discussion than what we had at the store, I learned that Duracell Batteries have NO WARRANTY. While I still don't agree with his approach, I will give him credit for reaching out. It is obvious that he and I have totally different approaches to a situation and I wouldn't go back to the location.

I called Batteries Plus at McClintock & Southern in Tempe, Arizona and spoke to a very nice employee by the name of Craig I believe. I needed a battery for a flip phone After searching he indicated they did not have one in stock and would need to get one at the Avondale store near his residence. As it turned out I decided to get a new phone as mine was getting old. Just to say I appreciated his thoughtfulness as he said if I changed my mind, that was ok.

Was able to walk in and show the battery I needed replaced and was replaced then and there. Less than 3 minutes and I had the replacement I needed. Have always had good experiences here.

Not impressed with this location!!!I needed a battery for my garage door opener. I checked the hours and it said the store is open until 7 pm so I proceeded to drive to the store. I arrived at 6:45, pulled up in front of the store and noticed the lights were already dimmed. There was an employee in the store and once he saw me drive up and get out of my vehicle he went to the back of the store. I tried to knock but to no avail. I went back to my vehicle and tried to call but no one answered.If you re not going to be open until 7 pm then change your hours!!!!!

My deep cycle/solar batteries for my motor home decided to give up at the most inconvenient time. Fortunately, Batteries Plus had what I needed at an affordable price with a good warranity. The customer service was excellent and I was in and out without hassle. I will be using this store for all future needs.

I bought 2 6 volt rv batteries less then 4 months ago, it was a great experience and have recommended them many times.Now that being said. I had the worst customer service experience in my life with any retailer today at your Prescott Valley. Arizona location. My wife and I stopped by to express my concerns about the two batteries I brought. This guy that wouldn't tell me his name told me I was an idiot and I must have screwed up the batteries, I sell many of these batteries and never have I had this issue. Very very argumentative and disrespectful to me and my wife. I'm not an idot or stupid, when I told him I have been working on cars,trucks and rv's for many years and he said I dought that I've been doing this longer than you are old. What a way to address a retired 68 year old.So now I guess I'm stuck with two batteries that don't hold a charge. It may only be one but nonetheless my jack wont go up and down

These guys are very professional and know their product very well, every time I go in there they are more than helpful and we always leave happy. The owner goes above and beyond to help us out, he believes in helping local businesses. If you are looking for a batterie or light bulb, give them a chance, you will not be disappointed.

Had new iPhone battery installed six weeks ago at Prescott valley az store. A week ago had to install new update. After several unsuccessful attempts it would not update.Over two days and 3 hours of phone support apple said the problem was my battery. They said batteries plus is not an authorized battery replacement place.If I wanted my phone to accept updates I would have to drive 2 hours to Apple Store and they would replace. I did.When there I requested my batteries plus battery returned to me so I could seek refund they said policy is no batteries returned. So I could not get batteriesplus battery back to meSo next day called manager Dave at batteries plus and told the story above.I told himI had receipt from his store and receipt from apple to back my story.Now it gets bizarre. He starts laughing at my request. Calls his dad over and coworker over so they can all laugh together. He did not believe my story of apple refusing to give back their defective battery.I asked three times for him to call Apple Store and verify my claim. He said it was the most stupid thing he s ever heard.He was really digging in like I ve never heard before. He tells me he want to continue hearing my complaint as it is very entertaining to him. Maybe Dave was having bad day but it seems I made it brighter with my valid complaint

This afternoon (08/23/23) I stopped by Batteries Plus to seek help with a broken remote control for my living room blinds. They took my remote to take a look at it... Some solder, some expertise, a second set of steady hands, a little bit of heat and smoke. It was fixed.Thank you very much guys. Sorry I didn't get your names.

Looking online, Batteries Plus had what I was looking for. I was able to order the battery online from a local store so all I had to do was go pick it up. Being as it pre paid, it was ready when I walked through the door. Nice! Everything was exactly like it was indicated as far as notifications, etc. The store personnel was prompt and courteous.

Not only did they have the best price, they installed our batteries for us and when we had a problem after Ryan drove out and double checked our cables. He found some corrosion that was missed that created a contact issue. Thank you

They know everything about batteries and always have what we need. And they do more than just batteries. If it's tech related - repairs, supplies, etc. - this is a pretty good place to start. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. The store is well organized, clean, and neat.

Not only did they have the best price on car batteries in the area, the service was impeccable. David was extremely generous and helpful. I am a huge fan of customer service and it is a big selling point for me, so combine that with excellent prices you can t go wrong. I will definitely be returning here and would recommend them to anyone in need of a battery or lighting. I think they also fix broken screens for tablets, etc.

Fast, easy, and very cost effective. Staff is very friendly and always willing to install batteries if needed.When I order online they give discount and when I arrive the staff is ready to assist without delay.This is my number one stop for batteries!!

Return trip to pick up a new battery that had been out of stock. It came in as promised. I had made the original purchase on line to pick up in store. The store called almost immediately to let me know they only had one in stock. They promised it would be in the following Friday. It was. They also promised I would receive the 10% online discount as with the original purchase. No issue with that either. Great service, great place to do business! Highly recommend.

Great service! I needed the glass replaced on my iPhone. Contacted Apple to set up an appointment at one of the three stores in the greater Phoenix area, they couldn't get me in for over a week....after 25 minutes on hold! I heard Batteries Plus did the repairs. I called and 2 hours later I was in and out at a better price! Shop local!!

I was in need of a car battery and decided to purchase from a retailer who carried more than a limited inventory. I was pleasantly surprised on the selection and the treatment we received from the employees. In a manner of minutes I had a car battery installed. This will be my first stop in the future.

These guys are awesome very helpful programmed two of my truck door remotes. Saved me about 400.00 compared to a dealer. If you need any batterys or remote keys. please give them your business. We need good honest businesses to deal with.

I took my phone to Batteries Plus for a battery replacement. The clerk had advised me on an earlier visit that he had experience doing this type of phone. I brought the phone in and the clerk said that he had a video that showed him how to do it; I explained that I also watched some videos and that if he was unsure about the job that it would be no problem for me to take it elsewhere or do it myself. He said no problem, he was experienced and knew how how to do it. Id' never done it before so I left it to the "experienced" Upon returning to pick up the phone I was informed that he had broken the screen. I could see the pry marks where he tried to force the screen off instead of working around the sides to gently remove it. He became confrontational and abusive as I appeared a bit unhappy that he broke my phone. I was now facing over a week without my phone missing important calls, business , family etc. I lost a lot. When I inquired about the 30 dollar charge the clerk said "I did the work" I made contact with David Sullivan the owner. He wouldn't even let me speak, burying my every sentence with confrontational language and belligerence. No regard whatsoever for the massive inconvenience. Refusing to hear my experience he cut me off stating that "It's a work day and you have to call me after 7 if you want to discuss it. Imagine the "work" I was forced to miss. His concern was more centered around what the repair costs to himself was than treating the customer fairly.
