Update: now our car isn t working at all .but there s nothing they can find wrong with it. This mechanic is either a crook or has no idea what they are doing! Thanks to them we are left without a car!We took our car here to get a new engine put in and have nothing but problems with the car every since. Every time we take it back to them the keep it for several weeks and do nothing to fix it. The most recent time we took it in with the check engine light on due to transmission problems (the engine is less then a year old this shouldn t be happening) they have had it for 5 weeks and they claim that they can t find anything wrong with the car .yet the transmission keeps slipping and the check engine light is still on! We couldn t be more disappointed in a Mechanic who claimed to be all about helping veterans!

Only want to warn people about this so called mechanic so people dont make the same mistake I did. Brought my truck here thinking this is a trustworthy shop, completely not the case. Wasted over $5000 attempting to get my truck roadworthy only to have it break down 100 miles away from home while working out of town a few days later. Had it towed to his shop after breaking down and already spending over $5000 thinking if this guy has integrity he'll take accountability for the issues I had expressed from the beginning. Not the case at all just manipulative storytelling trying to convince me to spend thousands more. Part of the money I wasted was for an alignment in which they gave the truck back to me with steering completely jacked constantly having to correct while driving. His answer to that was I needed new tie rods for them to give my truck a proper alignment and spend another $3000 for that and new timing belt. Decided to have my truck towed out of there at that point and find a trustworthy mechanic to fix the issues. Wouldn't recommend All American Auto to anyone after this experience or ever consider bringing a vehicle here. If the owner would have been straight up with me from the beginning and told me I could be spending close to $10,000 to get my truck up to sub par I would have instead taken that money and used it as a down payment for a new truck. Instead he used manipulative storytelling and hypothetical scenerio tactics to persuade me to empty my wallet.

My '94 YJ had been marking it's spot for a while. There was a very noticeable "Clang" when off road. Removing everything from inside, the "Clang" persisted. It was difficult to get into gear when in the high country or on a mission (Search and Rescue). Upon discussion, I had the 4.0 engine replaced, 229,000miles. I asked that Jerry's crew check everything that wasn't painted to preclude a breakdown while on a mission. Basically, preventive maintenance. 4 areas required welding. 1 engine mount broke. Rear driver side axle problem. Clutch burnt. Transmission mount broke. More items than room here to mention. Clanging? Gone. Clutch? Perfect. Shifting? Smooth. Confidence on a mission? I recently purchased a '05 6.0 Powerstroke. I was due for an oil/fuel filter change and contacted All American to get an appointment scheduled. I also had a check engine light which was for a glow plug. Ilene got me scheduled over the phone but said she would have Jerry give me a call to answer the questions I had. Jerry call me that day, answered my questions and talked me through what to use if I decided to do the oil and fuel filters myself (which I did).I showed up for my appointment and Jerry got me taken care of right away. He ran test on everything and gave me options on taking care of the glow plug and a range of cost depending on what happened when he took it apart. Well, it all went well and the cost ended up coming in at the bottom of the range he gave me (love that!).After I had paid, Jerry came out to the truck and showed me a couple things to be keeping my eyes on and gave me some preventative steps I could do to help keep the truck running strong (and out of the shop).Jerry and Ilene are amazing! They take pride in their work and business and made me feel like they wanted what was best for me.Great people and the best shop around! Look no further.

An unexpected oil change away from home when the low oil message came up. After three tries, I found this veteran owned company that had an immediate opening.They are off 69 on E Valley Rd.They took care of my car quickly, and I waited in the lobby, but I didn't wait long. Service was friendly and I felt like my business was appreciated. TY.

Had a great experience and very nice people. Wheel alignment took only a few hours and my car drives like a champ. Even took the time to explain why alignment was off and showed us the pre-repair alignment specs PLUS reasonable prices.

These people know what they are doing , 2 stars only because they are shady as all be , gave them my truck and they told me it was probably a sensor issue and they had to change out parts to make sure , after 1500$ and them changing 3 parts that were still good they finally told me I would have to go to another shop to get the sensor changed , they only stopped changing parts because I kept the last one which they didn t like , even offering to reinstall it tho I d still have to pay for the time. Shamed they call themselves American and not Chinese , spent to much money with them and now my radio doesn t work , only gets one classical station

Called just to ask about an oil change. Then i asked about what kind of filters they sell and how many microns are because its a diesel truck. The gentleman on the other end had no idea what he was selling. And when I asked out of confusion "you don't know what you offer for filters" he replied try another shop." I even called back to make sure I heard it right. I figured as a combat veteran myself, this was the place to go.... it wasn't. Don't put veteran owned then act like that gives the rest of us a bad reputation.

My vehicles were maintained for 16 years by a master mechanic before he retired. All American Auto Service was strongly recommended so I went to meet Jerry and Ilene. Much to my pleasure he now maintains all my vehicles and has done a superlative job every time. Jerry's shop has steadily grown in clientele over the years much to his credit. Jerry is great. I've visited only twice, but both times he was thorough and thought of my economics. Once was to inspect a car I was thinking of buying. That visit saved me about $4,000 of initial repairs if I purchased the car. Second time was a few days ago when my check engine light came on. He told me what he thought the problem was and gave me two options, change the transmission fluid or wait till it happened again. It seems the sensor was stuck. He could have charged me more than $250 for a transmission service but was confident in my waiting to see if it happened again.Jerry is a long term service member. He served our country with honor. I respect his sacrifice for our country.I will be going back to Jerry for service for both my cars. My son has gone to him for over a year. I'm so thankful that I found a mechanic I know I can trust.

I have used Jerry more than a few times. He is a Veteran and he pays attention to detail. His work is great. It is family run. His prices are great as well. I will not take my car to anyone else unless I am out of town. That is fact.

Jerry and staff are a small business with big customer service. They are busy and you may need to book weeks ahead. It is worth getting honest answers and always great work. They give me options, saving me $$. I am selective who I let work on my vehicle-it needs to last quite a few more years. Thank you!

Had some rear springs and shocks installed. I had a very good experience and I highly recommend other veterans. They went out of their way to accommodate me so that I was able to leave for my trip on time.

I give one star because I can t give zero stars. I took our shop truck in because we couldn t get it to start, we needed an EGR leak fixed and our ac charged. After lots of back and forth and uneducated excuses, changing the price multiple times and many other alarming things, we got our truck back after giving them $2600 and now my truck has a seized motor because they dropped a bolt in the cylinder. I had to buy a brand new $7500 motor to replace the motor that they destroyed that only had 90k on it. Happy to give the whole story if you reach out. Please don t take your truck here!!!!!!! They are NOT honest people.Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

So far not so good I paid nearly $2,700 to get something repaired that showed as a dash light on my instrument panel I've had the truck back 2 days and the lights on again I am working on keeping an open mind but I'm not incline to pay any more money they seem like a good shop but. On the other hand I just paid that much money in the lights on.

Buddy Woolfolk is absolutely wrong. Jerry and his wife have a mixed family (White & Black) and biracial grandchildren. I believe he is the disgruntled Veteran who was seeking services/handouts from the Prescott Valley VFW and was subsequently referred to All American Auto. All American Auto provides honest, professional service to people of any race, color or creed.

I called yesterday, Jerry the owner was rude and seemed like he didn't want to help me with any issues. He told me that I was telling him to much mechanical wise and sounded like he didn't like helping black people. I am a veteran myself but when it's business, race goes out the door. It was a recommendation and now I feel bad that the person gave me a bad mechanic reference.
