You will not find a more honest, comprehensive and proficient automotive service. Chris and Eric take your safety and best interests at heart. Both are priorities. They will not incur any exorbitant costs or do anything that wasn't discussed in advance. They also keep to a strict schedule, again, considering your time frame and getting the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Wilhelm Automotive on Thomas.

I ve had my second service with Wilhelm in Arcadia they are very kind honestly and trustworthy. They provided a overall diagnostic for my vehicle and I have been working through with them the most important things to fix first. They are easy to schedule an appointment with. They are pretty quick with getting the work done. So far I ve had no issues with what they have done. I highly recommend them for any Vehicle service you need.

Overall experience and service was great Eric helped out a great deal with explanation of what needed to get done. Follow up was great as well. The reason for the 4 stars was part of my service involved replacing radiator and the fluid was not topped off and was very low.

Very helpful when fully breaking down the report on my car and the prices to repair or replace things. I walked in and they were able to get my car back to me in ~24 hours. Amazing service and incredibly kind!

Let s just say I won t recommend. I had nothing but encounters w\snakes; namely Charles, who initially took my money, and no longer works there and then there s Chris. My car wouldn t start Sunday (4+ months later) It was told me that the starter that they put in in October 2023 & charged me $1200 was not the issue, but instead, I needed to spend $3000 to fix the issue. Well, I got a second opinion and they told me everything looks great except for the starter and that they would put the starter in my hand and show me what s really wrong w\it. I spent an another $350 in towing services moving my car back and forth & finally another $400 to have the starter done right

I needed a last minute oil change before a road trip. Jeff took my call, fit me into their schedule and I was in and out within 1.5 hours. They did a thorough inspection of my car and provided me with a post service vehicle report. Great mechanics you can trust at a fair price.

I worked with Eric Swart, the new service manager, for continued maintenance from Wilhelm's (I've been a customer for about 3 years now) on my '02 RAM 2500 Diesel. I have 119,000 miles on and wanted to give it a 'Spa Day' to revitalize everything. Eric was able to apply some discounts offered by Wilhelm's to make the bill more palatable. The same day I picked up truck, I took to emissions and reduced Opacity from 15.8 previous years to 8.9. I should be good for a few years.

Took my car in on a Sat to check out A/C. Made appointment for Tuesday to install new A/C , I was told by Eric that he had too many walk ins to and could not guarantee that he could get my car out same day. That was the reason we had an appointment in the first place, he said his shop is like a hospital emergency room , first come , first serve? Walk ins with no appointments take precedent over appointments? Appointments should be first , not walk ins. Would not recommend this shop, mainly because of Eric's attitude and approach to business.

I got an oil change that was supposed to come with a tire rotation. After the service I asked if the tires had been rotated, I was told yes, but after inspect the tires were not rotated. The lack of honesty here is why I am writing the review. If they are going the lie about a service as easy as that who know what else the are lying about. I will not be returning.

Eric and Chris were very helpful. I requested an appt on Sunday, they called me Monday 7:40am, had my car in shop by 8:30am and repaired by 1:30 same day. My car needed a new drive belt and tensioner belt. It was expensive and Chris gave me a break on the diagnostic fee which was very helpful to me and appreciated! Very polite and efficient, they provided my Lyft/Uber ride home and back to shop when my car was ready. Excellent service, I highly recommend Wilhelm Automotive Arcadia and would definitely return here again!

The employees were great and didn't scam me into getting parts I didn't need. They were very honest and transparent about the condition of the car and the maintenance that would be worthwhile based on it's lifespan.

Had my brakes and tires checked and they gave me the services I needed. Vehicle is running smooth. They got our car in and out, definitely fast and friendly service. Also kept me updated with their progress.

Took my truck in to have the oil changed and while they were doing it I asked him to look at the power steering box because it blew up while I was driving. They were honest and upfront about the stuff that needed to be done and they understood that I didn't have all the money to repair everything. I truly felt like they were honest and sincere about the repairs and I will be going back to get the power steering pump replacedUpdate on 01/16/2024Absolutely love this shop. Jeff, service manager, is amazing. Went in this time for 4 new tires, oil change, and a tune up. Price was amazing and I am very impressed with the service, quality of work, and timeless of the mechanics. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP

So grateful for Wilhelm. Took my car in after getting a overstated quote from the dealership on some work. They did some work at 2/3 of the price. Helped me feel confident in going on a road trip and I know I can trust them to come back to. I Love Wilhelm! The staff is very friendly and they do a great job with repairs and health checks. When you leave there you know your car is in good shape. I also Just wanted to tell you that Chris is definitely an asset to your company he is very nice and also very knowledgeable and he makes everyone feel very special. My day started out with a flat driver's front tire but Chris and the Wilhelm team really helped me out. I was immobile until my tire was fixed and it look as though it could have been an all day affair but the team was able to get my vehicle in shortly after I arrived. My flat was nonrepairable so a replacement was needed, they had them in stock. In short order they changed the tire, put the spare back under the truck and had me back on the road in less than an hour.Thank you Wilhelm team, you will see me again you didn't know this but I have several corporate vehicles not to far from you shop I will be bringing those vehicles to you going forward.ThanksService: Tires

If you re someone like me that is just looking for a good auto shop where the mechanics will treat you like a human and level with you, this the place for you. They are incredibly genuine and straightforward about the work. They also finished my service the same day and I was unable to pick up my car so they pulled it inside overnight. I've taken my car here for several oil changes now and it is always quick and efficient. Office staff is friendly and prices are fair compared to other shops in the area. Techs do a great job and work quickly. Recently I had somewhat of an emergency and they took my car in first thing in the morning and had it fixed up for me before the end of the day.

Diagnostic test $300?? Definitely trying to take advantage of woman alone at mechanic. Drove my car up the rode to autozone and they did it for free. Plus wilhelm gave me an oil change after I told them I just had gotten one. All very friendly staff, website & text link sent after inspection was amazing having pictures and details before even having to call or come in. Cherry and the whole team are delightful!! Not only were they able to drop me off and pick me up from work, but they were fantastic about keeping me updated on their progress! Their estimate was exactly what I was charged and the work they did on my brakes was superb. I saved hundreds on my brakes vs the Lexus dealership.Plus, a couple days after, they helped install a new battery (install was free, battery was purchased elsewhere) in my car for free!!This is my new auto shop of choice for my ISF! :]

I always trust them, they do not lie or try to upcharge for anything you don t need also they are understanding and nice if you decline anything that they suggested. Quality work as well, I have been multiple times and never had a problem I will always come here! Love this local family owned shop. Always fair pricing, never feel like I am being sold. They give great recommendations on what should be fixed vs what can wait to save your wallet.Best part is they have a rewards program. Great surprise when you can walk into a free oil change or that expensive repair gets just a little easier.Always friendly and knowledgeable.
