Upsell and cross-sell. Went here with a very specific issue to get a second opinion outside the dealership and see if it might be cheaper. Asked if they could check it out and never asked for them to inspect anything except the front ball joint which is easy to access and should take 10min max. They quoted me at about $390 which is almost $100 more than the dealership so I already knew it was a no go. They also inspected various other parts of my car without asking and tried to upsell as normal which is annoying and ended up charging me $60 for a normal inspection. I definitely should ve asked for a quote up front before even giving them keys but that s my mistake. If you have an ok dealership just go there because it ll be cheaper and more reliable.

These guys are great. I'm my own experience they have been very fair and honest. They will quote you for the job and have been very close to that every time. They've also been professional with outstanding customer service.I've had a head gaskets on a subaru done by them and my ac recharged on another vehicle. I was pleased with both service results.

Toyo will do a thorough evaluation of your vehicle and give you detailed quote and recommendations on what MUST be done, and what can wait a while. They understand that their customers don't always have a ton of cash available and balance that with ensuring you're driving a safe vehicle. My 1998 Toyota 4Runner Limited with almost 250k miles has never run so well.

Called several shops in north Phoenix area to get prices on timing belt replacement and other maintenance items. I also checked Google, Yelp, other reviews. Decided to try ToyoMotors for timing belt and was happy with their services. They have a 3yr 36k warranty which is very impressive. I I have more maintenance items to be done and hope to return soon. I chose them since they specialize and prices are comparable to other highly rated shops I checked out.

Not bad for an auto repair shop, they are professional and helpful. I had some issues awhile back and needed them to take a look and figure it out, and they did just that and gave me a fair price to fix and replace what I needed. It was very easy to go through the process and get back on the road in no time! Check them out if you haven t! 4/5 stars!

These guys are great and way better than going to a dealer. I've been taking my Toyota vehicles there for years because they are reliable, fair and the absolute best. They never fail to ID an issue and one can rest assured any repairs are completed expertly and on time. Customer service is beyond good and I often call them for advice on other out of town vehicles which they never hesitate toassist even though it's not there in the shop. They have my business for life.

We went to Toyo Motors today for the first time with my wife's Honda CR-V. Everyone we met was pleasant and courteous. The work we requested was completed very quickly. Been taking my Prius here since I bought it 6 years ago. They give great advice. Always tell you what needs to be done and cost giving you the option to have the service. Never try to up sell. A good honest mechanic way better than having service done at the dealer. Seriously if you have a hybrid this is the place to go. I'm 35 minutes away and still get my service here.

It's great to know there's a shop like Toyo motors locally. Had my truck in for a diagnosis that they weren't able to figure out, but nonetheless they had a mechanic go on a test drive with me to confirm my issue with the vehicle. They were the 9th or 10th shop trying to diag the issue, so I wasn't super surprised when they said everything checked out on the vehicle. The issue was pretty much unexplainable at all the shops I had taken it, but by far these guys were the most thorough. They ended up waiving the diagnosis fee! I'll definitely be back for my future Toyota or Lexus needs. Thanks guys!

Great service! I brought my 2009 Prius here after the EV battery failed, they did a rebuild of it and got it running with a really quick turn around. The rebuild saved me nearly 1500$! (Rather than opting for a new one installed) They are friendly, helpful and fast. I will definitely bring my car back here in the future. Thanks guys!

The staff is friendly and professional. They suggest repairs needed in advance so one can prepare to pay for the repairs. They keep my car in great shape at a reasonable price. Great, friendly folks in shop. Almost $600 for an oxygen sensor replacement. Note in the report saying the check engine light may come on later anyway. Contacted them multiple times to inquire about these points. I got no reply which is strange given how communicative they were prior to the service.Edit: GM was out of office during my period of contact, and promptly followed up on his return. He explained the factors behind the CEL and that the price was a mistype. Appreciate the active response.

These guys are great. I am particular about mechanics and I was very impressed with the quality of the work they did on my truck. Their customer service is amazing. Price estimate was given with tax and although I didn't write it down I know what I was charged was very close to the estimate. They even did another small repair (tightened up some loose exhaust fittings) at no charge. When I got my truck back the engine ran noticeably smoother and I could tell that all other repairs had been completed. It's far from my house but the quality of work and customer service more than make up for the extra drive time. Also, they have a nice, comfortable lobby with lots of power outlets.

TRUSTWORTHY MECHANICI had been in search for a reliable and honest car mechanic for years. About 7 years ago I needed a repair to my car and picked ToyoMotors from the phone book. I brought my car in and based on what I know about cars expected to be hit with a repair bill of several hundred dollars. I even told Brian, what I thought it is and what I expected to have to pay. I thought the car would be in the shop for at least a day. Jesus called me about an hour and a half later and told me that my car is fixed and ready for pick up. I was surprised to say the least. As it turned out, the problem was a loose nut and the ToyoMotors mechanic fixed it in a few minutes. I was charged their regular diagnostic fee, but not hundreds of dollars. I knew from then that I could trust everybody at ToyoMotors, they easily could have done the expensive repair and I would not have known any different. They were honest enough to do only the needed "repair". ToyoMotors has been doing the maintenance on all my cars ever since.

Very happy with Toyo motors. I had them replace the Hybrid battery in my 07 Camry hybrid a while back and have had no issues. Recently I took the same car in for alignment and a/c service. Both times the car was ready when promised and I thought the price was reasonable. I have two other Toyotas that I will bring to them when I have repairs or maintenance that I am not equipped for or not inclined to do. I don't think I will see the inside of a dealership again.Services: Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Battery

I've dealt with Jesus, Nick, and all the guys for years and never had a less than stellar experience. If you are serious about getting your 'yota serviced proper, this place hands-down beats the dealer and all the little shops around the valley. Can't go wrong with these guys.

A couple months ago I had a rack and pinion repair and I was going to go to the dealership. A family member convinced me to call around first, specifically ToyoMotors. And they were able to do the same repair, certified, warranty, all that for half as much as the dealership. They were clear with what repairs they were going to make and kept to the promised time. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped a vehicle off and it takes an extra day for repairs. I even needed an air filtered replaced and I hadn't budgeted any more money for this, so I said I couldn't do it. They added it for free! I really felt they cared about the quality of my car and respected me as a customer. Definitely bringing them my business in the future.

I love Toyomotors. They are absolutely wonderful. I take my 2005 Toyota Prius to have work done. They are very honest, patient and great on communication. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Toyomotors for everything.

I brought my 2001 Tacoma to ToyoMotors for a check engine light that I needed to fix to get my truck to pass emissions. I had gone to another place before and they didn't even try to figure out why the light was on. They just cleared the check engine light and told me to go try to get it to pass. At ToyoMotors I received professional assistance. Their waiting room has the most comfortable seating and free WiFi. They were able to find out why the light was on. It was a disconnected vacuum hose and 3 of my ports were clogged. They reconnected the hose and unclogged the ports. Best place in town.

It is truly refreshing to find a service oriented business that actually gives terrific customer service. The technicians are knowledgeable, courteous and always willing to answer your questions and if possible show you what they have found to be the problem. Their expertise is easily seen as they explain the work required to make your car right again. They stand behind their work and offer great service and expertise at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the 20 mile drive to have ToyoMotors take care of my cars.

For the last 20+ years, ToyoMotors has maintained my several Lexus automobiles for all services and repairs not covered under dealer warranties. Still in use today, they have kept my 1996 LS400 safe and reliable. Appointments convenient to me have always been easy to obtain. Their staff is well managed, competent and always courteous. While all Lexus automobile service and parts appear unnecessarily expensive to me, even using genuine Lexus parts and without sacrificing workmanship quality, ToyoMotors charges are significantly less than those of Lexus dealers. ToyoMotors is a repair facility I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Went in to get my vehicle checked out before a long road trip. I was informed I needed some parts to be replaced (with VERY little ability to explain the repairs). The estimate was pretty high; however, I truly do not know a thing about vehicle maintenance. I also just got rid of a Mercedes so expensive auto work isn t new to me.. After waiting several days, I reached out to another mechanic to learn that they estimated my cost at almost DOUBLE what the normal cost is, and they never contacted my warranty company (maybe because they KNOW how overpriced the repair was ). Can t knock the hustle, but I m not with my son now because of they re unprofessionalism.

Excellent customer service. Great work on my vehicle. Getting your car repaired is not always fun. But this place takes some of the sting out of it. Nice prices as well. Highly Recommended!
