I did a delivery this morning and it was a horrible experience first I call bc it s just a company s name and I was told to hand the order to a person but there was not a person listed to inform I have their order there was nowhere to park to I was just in the middle of the small lot they had I went to the lobby and had to call out hello bc it was empty than a white man who looked 40s heavy set with short hair walked out and I handed him the order as I was completing it asked me for a signature and I called back out again asking if I could get one bc it was asking I was never rude, not once raised my voice and the guy from the start was hostile and super rude he refused to sign saying he doesn t want to touch my phone I message the company informing the guy is refusing to sign and took some pics to send them to show I was there they even attempted to call him to confirm the delivery and he didn t pick up the phone I informed him they were calling and he continued refusing to sign for the delivery after I had handed him the package I am a young girl under 5 0 and and not threatening all I was trying to do was deliver there order and his disgusting extremely mean behavior just ruined my day. I left that place with fear in my chest and anxiety. Also they are located on a one way street so it was stressful just trying to pull in the lot. I didn t even go to get any sort of fixing just to deliver their order. Ugh I m so disappointed and disgusted.

Mickey treats you like family and you can tell tries to be fair, reasonable and do right by the customer. They always offer you a ride home if you live close.I have gone to them several times for oil changes and tires. Recently a piece of my car came off. I brought it it and they reattached it no charge. Really appreciated not being nickeled and dimed. :)Thanks for the help! Will recommend to family & friends

I tell you what.... There are honest people IRL. It's not just on the silver screen or in a book!! Unfortunately, I do not remember the fella I spoke with, but him sharing his knowledge was something he didn't have to do. I needed my catalytic converter replaced. . I was being quoted crazy prices. I know it is a pricey job but MAN!!! I was told about some shops on Broadway..... But was apprehensive. Sometime cheaper ISNT better. So while getting my oil changed I started looking for muffler shops near my job. The first one I called, The Auto Shop. A guy picks up I tell em I need my catalytic converter replaced. He asked for my vin and said look I can take your money... But your car isn't 8 yrs old. It doesn't have 80,0000 miles. Call Hyundai and ask about the federal emissions warranty. See if your car is covered. If it's not, give me a call back and I'll help you out.IT WAS COVERED!!!!!!! I PAID NOTHING!!!!! To the strange blessing on the other side of that phone. Thank you. Thank you..

I am giving this shop 5 stars! I have a 94 Toyota Camry an old car that no one really enjoys working on! I had my power steering pump go out and went to another shop that basically cared more about money than fixing up my car. Being a single mother I needed my car. I spoke to the auto shop on Friday and brought my car in Monday (today) at 7:00am. By 1:16pm my car was ready for pick up. Mickey was so amazing and he made me feel like he cared more about my car than making a profit! I was afraid of this terrible cost and it was so affordable I am amazed. I will be back in 7 days for an inspection but I am truly happy and blessed to have found these guys.. I will refer them to everyone I know! Roxxy(my car) and I thank you endlessly..plus their shuttle service is great. Dropped me off and picked me up and I had a great time talking to the driver! Thanks guys!

Mickey always seems to find a way to get me an appointment even when I KNOW they are jam packed. I may have to wait a little longer than usual, but they definitely, consistently go above my expectations and understand how vital my car is to my work. This place is awesome. I have been there maybe half a dozen times for various things and I will continue to use them in the future. Also - oil change for me was $39.99 which I thought was a pretty dang good price for synthetic blend. It's a great little neighborhood car shop and I'm glad we have it here.

Very satisfied with the work that Mickey and everyone else at the shop did. They were able to figure out why my car had trouble starting up, get the part, and fix the issue within a day. Throughout the process Mickey was very open about what they were finding with the car, how long it would take to fix, and what I could expect to pay. When the issue started looking more complicated, Mickey said he would still honor the original quote he gave me. He was actually able to bring the price down by over 25% by the time the fix was done, and that means a lot to someone on a college budget. I also appreciate that Israel was also able to drive me to and from my apartment for free when my car was in the shop.Overall, Mickey and his team provided great, honest, and friendly service; I will definitely be going back to them and would recommend them to anyone, whether they are looking to get a simple oil change or have something more serious fixed on their car.

My first time using the auto Shop. I was pleased with time that Mickey spent explaining the services on the phone and then also the simplicity of making the appointment online (and discount for doing so) Very accommodating service. My truck was repaired in a timely fashion, at a decent price. I would recommend the Auto Shop

I recently took my Subaru to The Auto Shop for service. They were AWESOME! They listened to my concerns, gave me a ride to work and called me shortly after with an estimate for the repairs. They finished the work the same day and picked me up from work so I could get my car back. The explanation was thorough and my bill ended up being less than the estimate! I will be using The Auto Shop exclusively from now on. Mickey and Kurt were both friendly knowledgeable and honest. I recommend them to anyone looking for auto repair in downtown Phoenix!

I have been using The Auto Shop since I moved to Phoenix almost 5 years ago. They have now taken care of three different cars for me. Everything from simple oil changes to more complicated diagnostics, they have been fair and helpful every time I have taken a car to them. I highly recommend this shop, multiple places were unable to properly diagnose my car and The Auto Shop had all the answers for me within a few days. They work diligently and fast, they are fair and understanding. I feel very safe putting my car in their hands, and now even look forward to going to the mechanic shop!

This place is the best. First time here and Mickey is an amazing person. Of course everyone takes a risk trusting reviews online but let me tell you they are going to be the best there is. My car broke down and Mickey has quite literally gone above and beyond for me. They do all that they can to help. As long as Mickey works there I will always bring my business back to them and recommend them to people. I've dealt with trash auto shops in the past and I can't say it enough that you will not be disappointed here.

I took my 2003 Honda Accord to this shop last year and found that they were extremely friendly, clear and helpful with some larger repairs that I had to get. Not only did they describe all actions they recommended me taking in detail, they also gave me a clear timeline of what I needed to do then and what I'd need to do in the future.The Auto Shop also provided me with a complimentary drive to and from work (which was 20 miles away!) during the repairs and they've kept in touch with monthly newsletters giving discounts and sometimes free oil changes.This is a great local place with friendly people--I recommend it to all the people I know in the area.

We have used The Auto Shop over a decade now on our vehicles. They are the best!! I have confidence that they are up front and honest with us, and they have never disappointed us in their workmanship. An added perk is they offer transportation to and from the shop when needed.

Can only give 3 stars. Charged about 60 bucks for a independent suspension inspection.Disagreed with methodology and findings. Visual of front spring perches shows dry rot of rubber indicating aged and worn however the inspection report was flying colors. Had to ask to have notation about struts and shocks appearing to be original.Any vehicle that is 100k miles and 10 years old and has original shocks and struts should be automatic replacement.Two local Dodge dealerships indicated at that amount of mileage they are pretty much shot as well as numerous online Dodge internet forums.Asked if either rear shock was removed for any type of further inspection and all that was indicated to me was only a visual check for fluid leakage. This is not the only way to inspect for wear or malfunction but that's what I paid for.I should've just took it to just brakes or numerous other shops for a totally free inspection that would have been the same as what I paid for.Live and learn.

I recently brought in my 2005 Chrysler 300. I was having computer issues with it, the check engine light was going off with about ten different codes, and something was drawing power from my battery over night. They took my car in to The Auto Shop, and after a few days and over $800 they said they had fixed it. I paid them and was very glad to have my car working, but about a month later, I went to start my car and my car wouldn't start(the battery had drained). So, I brought it back to the shop, and they said it was my aftermarket radio deck that caused the problem. I took it to a stereo shop and paid them to test it, they tested everything and showed me that even with the radio completely unhooked, the battery was still having a 1.5 amp draw. So I called The Auto Shop and explained all of this and asked if they would take a look at my car, they were very willing to take back my car, but when I asked if they would warranty their work they said "no", Instead, they wanted another $90 to diagnose the problem, and then "we would go from there" for the actual repair of my car. I am a college student with a very small budget, and I gave this shop just about all I had saved up for them to fix my car, and now I'm left $800 poorer and still have a broken car. I would NOT recommend coming here. Their prices are way too high, and they will not even honor their own repairs. After this, I went to Gearhead Auto Center in Phoenix, they asked for $100 and ran a diagnostic on my car for about three days, they could not find the problem and informed me that this is a problem that only the dealership would have access to fix. They refunded my $100 and even delivered my car to me on a day their shop was closed because I needed the car for that Saturday. I would highly recommend Gearhead Auto Center, they have great prices and appear to be very honest guys.

With The Auto Shop, I know I have a mechanic I can trust. I brought my van to another mechanic, and they said the transmission needed to be completely rebuilt. Then I brought it to the Auto Shop. Mickey and Dan did several tests and took it on many test drives to duplicate the problem. They found that the problem was relatively minor and certainly did not call for a transmission rebuild. They had the opportunity to do some major work on my vehicle and make a good bit of money, but they informed me that it was not necessary.At the same time, if a major problem does arise, I know I can trust them to fix it. My husband has been a loyal customer of the Auto Shop for years. His trucks have had some very big problems, and he has always been pleased with the quality of auto parts and work performed at The Auto Shop.

Super convenient, they came and picked up my car from the parking garage at my work and brought it back when they were done. The price was fair and they were very good about explaining what was going on. I wish I would have found them sooner. They are now my ONLY shop! Thank you Mickey and Kurt! I highly recommend them to anyone that is downtown and needs car repair!

Don't hesitate for a minute to bring your car into this place. They are family owned and operated and so very professional and trustworthy. The employees have been with the establishment for many years and know there cars and the cars engines. I'm a person that is her sole provider and this place will do wonders to help you safe money. I vote this the best Auto Repair shop in all of Arizona. Thank you Kurt!!!

Where to begin... it s all great.Mickey dealt with me kindly while also providing me with the terrible news my car was basically dead. Despite my state of mind, he was always patient and took the time to help me to the greatest extent possible. He walked me through several options of what to do with much vehicle, and at no point rushed me into making a decision. I m looking forward to normal business with him and his shop. Thanks Mickey!

No longer trust this shop. Struggled what 2 write for 3 months. Hate 2 leave bad review, but it s warranted and others need 2B informed. Used Shop 4 approx 15 yrs. First 13 good. Last 2 bad. Brought vehicle back 3x due 2 oil gauge. They sd they cd not duplicate. Had my daughter video control panel & prove. Finally fixed. However, was w/o car 4 almost a week. Took Mom's car in. After repair it made grinding noise when turning right upon leaving Shop s driveway (they shd have heard). Drove it, heard noise, called Shop, took back. They sd it was strut (repaired by dealer less a year ago) and sd take back 2 dealer. She did. Problem NOT strut. Was in brake assembly. Dealer fixed. Auto Shop misdiagnosed, cost themselves a repair & Mom an extra trip 2 another facility. Nov 2017 took my car in & told shop mgr about noise from front end when turning wheel. Was hoping it was front bumper (which was messed up) rubbing on wheel. He sd they would go thru vehicle bumper 2 bumper & tell me all needed repairs so I cd decide what 2 repair. He knew this was important as vehicle was 12 y/o. Couldn t afford new then. Hoped 2 keep Trailblazer til 2020. Being disabled on fixed income needed 2 get some bills pd down B4 taking on car payment. He gave list of needed repairs. Lower than expected so decided 2 do extra $1500 in repairs which were not immediately necessary because he said this should B all that was needed 4 some time. Back less than 3 months later because they never addressed front end noise (not caused by bumper & getting worse.) Wrote letter re my dissatisfaction which led 2 discussion with owner (very nice man). Another $1200 in needed repairs (almost $4500 in 4 months). I wd not have done the extra $1500 in work if they had caught this issue when I first told them about it. 3 months later car was stalling & hard 2 start. Took 2 another shop. They sd bad unit in fuel pump & need 2 take back 2 Auto Shop 4 warranty. Fuel pump replaced under warranty. Couple weeks later I go 2 fill up my tank & gas is pouring all over. Towed 2 other facility. Result: Auto Shop failed 2 attach clamp securing gas tank hose 2 neck at gas cap (photo attached). I & my service dog cd have been killed from an explosion (fumes + 115 deg heat). Any road spark cd have caused my car 2 catch fire. Owner accepted responsibility - sd technician admitted he doesn t remember reattaching clamp. Owner wanted 2 make things right, talk 2 the manager & get back with me. Was forced 2 trade in vehicle because I was so afraid 2 drive it - had anxiety attacks every time I tried 2 drive & was canceling important medical appts. This was significant hardship - I was not prepared 2 have a car payment now, but had 2 make appts - had 2 trade down w/o the time needed 2 save 4 down payment. Still miss my Trailblazer. Their way of making things right was 2 send me a check 4 new shoes (ruined by gas) & a tank of gas. I have not cashed the check. Was quite a shock 2 see that my life & the life of my service dog had such little value. I think the LEAST they could have done was reimburse 4 the initial repair that started this mess - approx $700. My life, the life of my service dog, and the hardship this caused me are worth a lot more than that. This review was not written because of their "payment." If it was, it would have been written long ago. HUGE & potentially DEADLY problem. I feel very fortunate 2B alive & physically unharmed. I had decided 2 end my affiliation with this business B4 this incident, but had to return for warranty work. Customers & Auto Mechanics need 2B aware they are working on what cd be the difference between a breakdown and/or serious injury/death 2 drivers/passengers. You NEED 2B able 2 trust your mechanic with your life, because that is what you are doing. Normally, this would have been a zero-star review because of the seriousness. In light of the first 13 years where I was satisfied, I am giving 2.

Auto Shop is always quick and friendly whenever I bring my car in for service. They have a calendar of savings and often have promotions on their site, which is handy when car repairs can be so costly. I've always felt like auto shops can be a little sleazy, but I really feel like I'm in good hands when I take my car here. Also really helps that I can walk here from my office!!

If we have another auto shop as good as this in the Valley, we are fortunate indeed. The Auto Shop has been servicing my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe since I moved here in 2010. It had 60k miles on it then. Today 135k miles and not a single breakdown or problem with the vehicle. Drives like a new car. They have saved me $tens of thousands by keeping my old car performing like new and suppressing the urge to buy the latest. They thoroughly check each vehicle during an oil change, call you with any problems/issues they find, give you a quote for the repair cost and then you decide whether to fix now or later. They have caught many issues that would have caught me stranded. Highly recommend.

This shop has saved me money. I had a pt cruiser that I was trying to fix. They plain out told me it would be cheaper to buy another car! So i did. Very happy and yeah my new car cost me less than the repair estimate. Will be back with my "new" car soon. Thanks Auto Shop!

Fantastic full-service shop. I used to work around the corner, and the convenience to downtown was appreciated. Attended their grand re-opening (2006 maybe?) and had breakfast with the crew. Nice, friendly, and a good value as they worked on my Kia Sorento and (at the time) Jetta Turbo.
