Installed and same day left the shop and in 3 days put 900 miles on the converter and did great. These guys are amazing..

I liked that I was able to talk directly to the, technician who was doing inspection an repair on my 9" race converter, he was honest on what he could or could not do,a never tried to up sell me on a different converter. I have a second converter I will be having inspected by them, like the personal interaction. Great place!

I have purchased a few converters already. Mostly for sand drag customers and they are flawless. Perfect stall rating and no having to send in for a restall. I will continue to purchase more when my customers demand higher than stock converters that work as designed.

Have dealt with Roadrunner converters a few times for different projects and I have never had any issues with there converters. I will always recommend them to other car guys as a go to place.

Buyer beware! Absolutely watch your back with Ronnie!I was given a very detailed price quote via phone (different person, not Ronnie) for a rebuild on my 8L90 TC, w/added steel plate at $460 out the door. Ronnie claimed that price to me was $1,350 firm. When he saw I was going to say no to $1,350, he then offered a basic rebuild for $250. When asked about the price disparity, Ronnie claimed my TC is a "totally different beast,' with no other reasons or details, and did not offer something in-between. Also, the person whom I initially spoke with via phone, instructed me to submit my rebuild at 6am for same day rebild service. I arrived at 6am. Ronnie claimed the best case scenario for my rebuild would be next day afternoon, not same day... after being told a 6am submittal would be same day service. By this point, I am neck deep into my repair project and cannot scrap my plans for some shady viper who wants to make extra money off of a walk-in customer. I selected the $250 basic. Then, at pick-up, with Ronnie gone for the day, no one on duty new the status of the TC, or what was done to it... Apparently, only Ronnie knows the status. There are no notes, or a pass-down sheet... nothing. One guy claimed he would have to cut it open for me to see what was done. What a ridiculous thing to tell a customer!I raised the question of the price quote disparity. However, no one else in this shop would give me a straight answer to the question of the disparity in price quotes. Nor give an answer to the in-between offers question. I asked three people, while waiting for my pick-up and they each claimed I should ask someone else, or ask Ronnie when he is back the next day.What a joke... except the joke is on me!

I've been using roadrunner converters for over 30 years. They do an excellent job and their prices are very reasonable

I was in a real bind.. Trying to get my converter rebuilt in 1 day due to having to return the shop space I was borrowing the next day. Having been in Customer Service I know all customers want their stuff finished yesterday! So I am really hesitant to ask for "special fast service" just because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of it.These guys made an exception for me understanding my predicament and actually turned my converter around in less than a day giving my job priority!Thumbs way up for going above and beyond excellent customer service!Thanks guys and keep up the good work.Pleasure doing business with you!

I had a issue with converter, but was instructed to return it for repair. The converter was repaired and sent back to me in quickly. They have been more than pleasant to deal with from buying converter thru repair stage. The converter being 8" race style is better constructed than any others I have seen and used.

Amazing customer service. Definitely a place I would recommend to get your torque converter fix or up grade. As for Randy one of the coolest guy that can explain what will be done to your converter.

2 years of abuse on the dragstrip, hundreds of passes, rewarded with one the the most consistent bracket cars at our track. Ronnie builds the BEST. Still shocked at the performance for the price!84 mustang, c4, roadrunner equipped!

Give Ronnie a call if you need a converter for your vehicle. Have ran multiple torque converters for gm vehiclesover the years havent had any problems.

Ther Customer service sucks bunch of rip offs. First he quotes me 700 for a stall then raises the price and gives no reason to 800 why would anyone pay that much for a low end stall???
