Service here is no good!!!!they don t answer the phones when they do lol ( please hold )lol..dropped for my car on a Thursday.was told it would be ready tomorrow ( Friday ) I didn t get my car back until Thursday of the next week!!!lmfao car broke down!!!!!a bolt fell off..left me stranded call these to tell them what happened ..I was told bring it .they fixed it in 24 hours.when I picked up my car dead battery. They went through 5 jump boxes trying to start my car.not one was charged I had a driver line there for a slip yoke.gave them the size I needed..lol. They gave me one the belonged to someone else..

Excellent customer service. I needed my 2003 wrangler rubicons front driveshaft rebuilt. Veteran friendly business. Got a one day turnaround. One pic is what I dropped off on the right. Two pics before that is what I got back. Excellent. Luke was awesome to deal with. Very thankful.

These guys are great. Just had a rebuilt steering rack installed on my Volvo at a very reasonable price. They give lifetime warranty on the part. Runs great. They even drove me home when I dropped off the car.

Great customer service! Very professional and friendly. I couldn t ask for more. The team at this location is fantastic to work with. Originally I had brought in my truck for a rack and pinion replacement, everything was great the first time around. A few months later it developed a leak no biggie took it in they replaced it with another one when I picked it up the steering was extremely hypersensitive as the tech described it, you could easily turn the wheel with your pinkie and it didn t feel safe on the highway at higher speeds. I brought it back in tech went on a ride with me and agreed it wasn t right. They replaced it with another one and aligned the truck. I just picked it up so I ll update this review in a couple of months to see if it leaks or not. However as far as customer service goes it was great!Thanks for all the work and fixing the issue.

Want to say thanks and great job to this crew in particular to Luke and Alex as they helped me out to complete my Bronco. It took a couple of tries to get it right due to the modifications I've done on my truck. Customer service was never an issue, Luke made it right. Bronco runs awesome! Thanks again!

Had a leaky steering rack, and the only options out there seemed to be junk and worse junk. Then I found this place, practically next door, for the same price or cheaper, but who do the rebuilds themselves right here. The rack arrived almost immediately, looked great, and works great. The only flaw was I didn't get my core refund initially; after 3 weeks I called them (the contact form on their site didn't get a response), and they were friendly and got it fixed quickly, which is all you can ask for when mistakes happen. Will be top of my list if I need a steering rack for a future car.

I have only good things to say about my experience with PHX Rack& Axle. The quality of both service personnel n techs repair was something one could only hope for in today's competitive auto repair business. But with so many shops opening & closing how do you know which are reputable n will give you the service n repair that you are paying for, and which are the shops making big money off of the general publics vague knowledge of cars. I travel to phx from mn every winter n return in the spring. My f-150 has made 5 round trips,n this will make 6. Truck has 254k on the odometer n still looks n runs great. This year on the way down I had some drive train issues in nm but still made it to phx. I had the truck diagnosed by a shop I've used back in the 80's when I was living here. After they're diagnosis they told me that they were sorry but I needed a little more work done than what they were capable of doing. But they're service mgr highly recommended PRA as they have used them in the past. Well they were spot on with the recommendation which I thanked them for. I consider myself extremely lucky to have come across 2 straight up repair shops as a visitor no less n got great advice from one n great service n repairs from the other...AT a price half of what anyone else would of charged. I can now make the 2000mile ride back to mn this spring Worry Free thanks to the guys at Phx Rack & Axle..

So I dropped this off yesterday and I had my power steering rack rebuilt for my drift Camaro that I'm building it only cost me $185 to get the rack completely rebuilt and it took less than 24 hours and I had it back in my hands they work on drive shafts differentials power steering racks and also steering they paint it up after it's done make it look all clean I would definitely recommend going to this place I'm going to have them redo my rear end here shortly professional quick reliable that's the things you count on great people here

Parts weren't ready when our shop went to get them which was frustrating, but management promptly took the steps to make it right with us and that is what matters to me at the end of the day!

Sometimes finding what you need is hell for a vehicle that s not common anymore and is 22+ but they had my rack n pinion for my 00 Honda Prelude. Took my old one back for the core. Easier than going to Walmart to pickup and return. Fast and friendly service. Had an issue a couple months after getting the new one on, and they took care of it. Had my daily/project back on the road. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Over the phone and in person. Same level of service. They communicate well with one another so if you talk to person A about one thing and go in and talk to person B. Person B doesn t have to wait for person A. I ve shouted them out on forums for people with my cars where parts aren t made anymore by Honda and have met so many people who use them for all their vehicles from foreign to domestic and sometimes BIG vehicles I never knew existed. Based on all the previous reviews they obviously didn t need mine but I had to share in case it helped someone else. Thanks all for having my car done right.

IF YOU CAN TRUST ANY REVIEW ON THIS PAGE TRUST THIS ONE!!! I own a mechanic shop and this company has failed multiple times. There was a recent case where I installed 3 different racks within a week. The company has fallen off! I d NEVER order anything from this company again!! It s a shame because this company use to be reliable. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRODUCTS YOU SELL AND BACK THEM UP!!

Steve at the desk was great. Confirmed what I needed, got parts ordered & I was in and out faster than promised. Changed my Jeep JLU gears to accommodate my larger tires and towing a trailer. The break in instructions were easy to follow. Definitely coming back with my 2024 build when it arrives. They are a little more expensive than the others but you get what you pay for!

I'm genuinely concerned the people that work here don't actually know how to work on cars. My car was sent here from another shop to get its rack and pinion replaced. First they ordered the wrong rack and pinion and fitted it to my car before ordering the right one.That rack and pinion then went out within a year. So I had to bring it back and thankfully it was still under warranty. When I got the car back one of my sway bar end links was completely gone and the other one was missing the main bolt. I sent it back to them and after they reviewed their videos they confirm that it was their fault. They said they would have it done the next day, but a week later it still wasn't done. When I finally got it back one of the sway bar end links had too many bushings and the other one didn't have enough.Don't send your car here.

They couldn't help me. I walked in off the street. They per say couldn't help but pointed me to another company that could help me. Gave me there name,address and phone number. Now that's what I call customer service. I'll definitely come back if I need any more rack and pinion work done.

I have a hard to find gearbox that i needed rebuilt and hoped it still worked.My problem was finding someone who still knew how to rebuild it without shipping it out of state.They said they had a gearbox builder who had seen it all.I received it back the next day and it worked great

Did a great job on my power steering (rack and pinion etc) problem. Drives really well now. The only problem it took a week to finally finish the job. Overall great comuication by Alex in resolving issues and getting me on my way. Thanks.

Worst experience ever. NO people skills, NO customer service worth mentioning. The part that was sold to us was faulty. They agreed to fix the part but we had to have it towed to their shop. 2 days later we had to go pick it up. Our mechanic who put the part in said they screwed it up worse than when it was delivered to them. If I could give them a minus rating, I would. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Quality is lacking. Taking responsibility for their products is lacking. Delivery is lacking as well as communication. This company unfortunately has taken a dive when it comes to customers and quality products.

I am for sure Bringing my business here again for sure. Jason and Tim were very helpful they replaced my rear subframe including differential bushings and upper control arms. They were very professional and very honest with me If it was it for them I don't think I would even have my car since the frame was busted and didn't know that til they checked it for me. They did great I recommend them for sure for any rear end work they're great!

These are great guys. I see why they have 4.5 stars with almost 300 reviews. They're not any different than what's going on in the rest of the world currently. They're under staffed and hiring and training young inexperienced guys just like every other industry out there. They're not perfect, but they honor their work without question if something goes wrong. They are very professional and just pleasant to deal with. Because of their integrity of honoring their work? These are my guys in the future for anything related to suspension, driveline, steering, etc. I definitely recommend this company. Super honest and absolutely breath of fresh air in this bad service and bad attitude Era we live in. Well done, guys. Thanks again. You're rock stars.

They lied to me about the condition of my parts and made unnecessary repairs. Insisted that u-joints needed replaced with only 6000 miles on them and then they tried to charge $100 over agreed price.

I had a vibration in my lifted trucks driveline. I talked to other driveline shops and was unimpressed with their attitude and unwillingness to repair problem.I went to Phoenix Rack and Axle and showed Luke ( service Tech) my truck and Luke was on it with a tape measure and a price and delivery time. $475 out the door. Custom made a new driveline in two days. Fixed problem. I am very happy with their service. Very professional and excellent pricing.

I just witnessed one of your employees driving down the road smoking and subsequently throwing cigarettes into the middle of the road - absolutely no regard for the cleanliness and safety of our city. i have never heard of your company before this but if your service is as disgraceful as your employees conduct, I will never give you or recommend anyone I know to your business. Do better. If you want the license plate of this employee I can provide it to you.

This company is amazing. Called and was able to get our vehicle in same day. They did amazing work, fast and super friendly. Great prices and great staff. When a manufacturer defect happened, they worked fast to get a new pinion and gears put back in to fix issue. Great shop to work with!!

Very professional and patient with a deaf man. They are very helpful to solve my driveshaft issues. I am very pleased with their workmanship and service. The front desk is excellent! I will use them again in the future in a heartbeat. Very high quality work and experience! Go to them and have it done there.
