I found Luis when he was in the Arcadia location and will forever follow wherever his shop is. He and his crew are super knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to not only understanding what my car issues were but providing the best suitable options. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, quick and affordable mechanic! Super happy to have found Luis and his crew.

BEST mechanic in Phoenix. Luis Automotive Repair WAS located at: 2950 E Thomas Rd., Phoenix A Z 85016 and MOVED to 4219 W Whitton Ave., Phoenix AZ 85019. Luis has been my mechanic since 2011. 12 years of loyalty. They have been servicing my vehicles for over a decade. Trustworthy and reliable. I can t say enough about the integrity of this mechanic shop! No matter where you reside in Phoenix, its worth coming here to service your vehicle. They can repair any type of vehicle. I drive a Mercedes and ONLY bring my vehicle to Luis Automotive. Come check them out! You wont be disappointed. I wish I could give them 10 stars

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. The dude uses no basic troubleshooting to figure out your issue. Told me my car still has the same issue bc he failed to pop the hood. Only used the diagnostic tool and charged me an arm and a leg only so that my issue continues and after re reviewing turns out it s something as simple as a a new battery. IF YOU DO USE HIM CONFIRM HES ACTUALLY GONNA OPEN THE HOOD.

DO NOT USE THIS GUY, he's a crook!!!!!!!!!! Had a engine light issue. Diagnosed was needed a new/used transmission. Went ahead and replaced transmission for around 3K. Engine light was gone and I drove off literally a mile when the light came on again. Went back to tell Luis and he claimed it was now my gas cap or dashboard computer system. Took car to dealership and said transmission was the issue. Will be placing a complaint with the BBB.

Took my car in bc it kept turning off when idle. 460 dollars later and the issue continues. TURNS OUT THIS GUY DOESNT EVEN POP THE HOOD TO SEE WHATS WRONG. HE ONLY USES HIS DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER AND NO BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING LIKE PHYSICALLY LOOKING AT ALL THE COMPONENTS.

My partner and I have come here several times for our car repairs. Every time we have had a great experience. Each time they have been able to get us in quickly (usually the next day, but sometimes even the day we call them) and are efficient, professional, and very well priced. Luis is extremely kind and straightforward with his customers as well. I will gladly continue giving them my business and I 100% recommend this place for anyone looking to get car repairs.

Thank you so much for the absolute best customer service I have received in a long time. We were up from Tucson for our daughters surgery and stepped out to get over night supplies while surgery was under way. While out our passenger window got stuck in the down position. They fit us in immediately and got us back to the hospital before she was out of surgery. Thank you again Luis' auto repair. That's our van in the pic.

BEWARE DONT TAKE UR CAR HERE Took my car for a oil change & AC workonly for them to give me the run around for 2 days. They also broke my compressor. They do not know what they are doing and will break your car at your expense ! Luckily I had my car towed to my dealership for them to fix it.

Amazing amazing customer service!! My AC unit went out at the worst time possible. I called asked if I needed appt, Luis said come on in after 9am next day. Showed up he checked it out mentioned it'll be a 3hours process. I asked if I could sit and wait he said yes. They took my vehicle he said AC are a priority. So grateful

The past five years they have service and repair all my my vehicles. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. I often recommend them to friends, who can't thank me enough. Luis the owner does a great job diagnosing and getting whatever problem you have with your vehicle fixed and at a very affordable price.

These guys are amazing! The advice and kindness I get when I bring my car here is so refreshing! I feel like they not only listen to my concerns, but HEAR me. I am not from the area and I ended up getting stranded at the Goodwill right across the street from there and I have Louise help me or up and running right away he was super helpful and I am unbelievably grateful for him helping me because I would have not known what to do I don't have I didn't have a way to get home and I can't see how truly blessed I was that he was there to help

I'm sure these guys are nice, but heres the deal.my car broke down Tuesday night on the US 60 on my way home from work. I was terrified. I'm only 22 and just moved out here from Texas on my own and have no family here. I originally called Guys Body Shop which is next door to them and told them my transmission failed and I needed to tow it to their place. they said that was fine. I requested that they call me once my car got there. about an hour later, when I knew my car had been towed and shouldve been at the shop, I hadn't heard anything. I called and there was no answer. I decided to wait till the morning.I tried calling Guys Body Shop again 10 times the next morning and no answer. FINALLY at like 930 in the morning they answered, only to tell me they dont do any mechanic work, they just do body work (I shouldve known better lol, that was my own fault) but luckily, Luis Auto is right next door so the man on the phone said he was more than happy to bring it over to Luis' shop. I thought, great, what a lucky break!!so i called Luis' shop to let them know what went on and they said they would take a look at it that day. when they asked what was wrong with it, I said the transmission and they said "oh, that's it? okay, I'll get to it today." I asked them to please call me before they did anything and the guy on the phone said okay, but then went to hang up, without taking my number or my name down!! I had to interrupt him to give him my information. once that was done, I didnt hear from him for the rest of the day. I called near the end of the day, around 5, just to check on things and a nicer man answered (I believe it was Luis himself). I asked him what was wrong with my car, he told me it was definitely the transmission. I asked him what specific part failed so I could get an estimate later on, and he told me that the guy who was working on it during the day went home for the night, so he didnt know exactly what was wrong. what? weird, but he told me to call first thing in the morning so he could give me an estimate of the repairs and to tell me what parts failed.I decided to wait until an hour after they opened to give them time, figuring they would be getting into the office and would need time getting situated. I called around 9am and was met with ATTITUDE from one of the employees. I asked if there were any updates and he said to me (word for word) "I know you've been calling but yeah I havent gotten around to it. we just got here, you need to give me more time." ...okay. so I apologized and explained again that it's my first car and I just am worried. all he said was "yeah" and hung up. it made me feel dumb for even calling.I know things get busy, but all I ask is for updates and if I call asking how it's going, I shouldn't be met with attitude and I shouldn't feel like an idiot for being concerned about my car.the day went on and I STILL HADNT HEARD FROM THEM. all I was waiting for was an estimate of what was wrong! they had already run a diagnostic on my car, so they shouldve known and told me what part failed at least, right?I had my wife call them because she is a little more assertive than I, and they told her that the entire transmission was shot and that i would need to pay at least $1500 for a USED transmission (their words). when she asked what parts failed, they didnt give her specifics and just said that the entire thing was shot.I didnt trust it, so I took my car somewhere else and turned out it WASNT my entire transmission, it was the computer system and that is covered at the dealership with my warranty!in my opinion, their service was shady and they just wanted money. they didnt care about my concerns and every single time I called I was met with attitude.dont waste your time.

Fixed my alternator for a super reasonable price and did it in a timely manner and let me know when it was done! Super friendly and does a great job!

I thought these place was good after they change my belt but in June they took parts of my car they mess up my car did not run more than 35 miles per hour the police took it from me after I got 6 tickets everytime I took my car it was more and more more money more part it need it but it got over heated trow all the hot antifreeze everywhere then it had so many problems I regret taking my car here please do yourself a favor look for a better place
