Tony gave me a fair price on replacing the head gaskets on my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. When they opened it up they found a bent rod and a few bad lifters and only charged $300 over the original quote. Now my engine doesn't overheat and the ticking sound is gone. I was told it would take two days two rebuild transmission. It took TWENTY DAYS! It is clear they did not take a test drive, because when I took a test drive, there was a new problem, the engine was sputtering (To be clear, this is a problem that had never occurred before).I was furious that they took three weeks AND caused a new problem, so they VERY reluctantly agreed to charge me $1300 instead of $1500. I took the car and intended to take it to a different mechanic.However, I was so distracted by the NEW problem during the test drive, that I did not take the car on the freeway. When I did go on the freeway, I realized that the transmission was still not working great. It is better than when I took it to them, but it is still hard to get up to freeway speed.At this point, I'm just hoping that the car and its TWO problems will last long enough for me to get a new used car. Not that I can afford it, especially since I just wasted $1300.Service: Transmission

Went in the other day and had my thermostat and radiator switched out. I went in thinking it was just my thermostat that was making my car overheat turns out it was my radiator and he found the problem quick. Finished 2 hours later. I would definitely return if I have any more problems

Got ripped off, had my car worked on it broke down on the highway due to cheap parts used. Had to have it towed at 1 am in New Mexico on the highway and had it looked at by another mechanic and dealership, who both agreed it was a botched job that damaged my water hose and other cheap materials used caused oil to leak. Will be taking action because that s ridiculous and could have caused serious damage to my car.

I have taken my vehicles JJS mechanics several times one for a Torque converter and second for Transmission repair and did a wounded job on both. Also the starter went out on one of my vehicles and he took the time to drive a the way to buckeye and replace it. And the price was very reasonable on all that they have done. I highly recommend JJS mechanics to anybody.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Don't take your car here . Not only did they "during an install" of my transmission try and tell me it was ready when clearly it wasn't shifting properly! They finally took it back and then had the audacity to charge me for something they clearly missed ( I paid them) and also charged me for storage fee?After I paid them in full. The problem is that they don't answer their phone and reply when in a timely manner. Save yourself the trouble and find a good shop that will get your repairs done correctly and as quoted. I don't like writing bad reviews but this one has been on my conscious to help the next unsuspecting customer.

I brought my 2012 charger for a engine rebuild and they did an awesome job , and was honest about everything needed and fair on the price I recommend, and let them work don t rush the process it s worth it took them less then a week !Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Tony is an amazing mechanic. I have stayed and watched them fix 2 of my vehicles. One was a transmission and clutch replacement and the other I thought was a blown head gasket actually was diagnosed as an oil cooler failure. He saved me a small fortune! He and his employees are super friendly, honest, thorough as well as the most affordable I have seen. I know where I ll be recommending my mother for any car issues! Thanks guys!

I highly recommend JJS Mechanic. They do quality work, but more than that they go above and beyond to make sure the experience is as affordable, fast, and convenient for me as possible. Tony is very friendly and responsive, and he hasn't once been condescending or talked down to me about the problems with my car (which is often a worry as a woman walking into a mechanic.) If you're looking for a straightforward and honest mechanic, look no further.

Tony is a VERY knowledgeable mechanic. I was lucky to find his shop when my head gasket blew out on my 2012 Ford Fiesta.He took his time and did it right. He even bought some new tools so he could do the right job on my car.The car has been driving like new!I waited to review Tony's shop to make sure it was really running perfect and it is!Thank-you Tony and crew. Needed a clutch in chevy cobalt. Called around and no one could get it done timely- and LUCKY for me I found Tony. I called him and he was not only very reasonable- but fair and honest as well. I completely trust Tony--and his staff. I found them to be professional, honest, and very fair. I now will take all of my car repair issues to their shop without hesitation or concern. Ironically my 2 other cars broke so I need to get them into his shop. Thanks Tony.

I met Tony and his shop about three years ago and have sent all my friend to him ever since. He services all our cars and maintains them. No job is too big, wether engine or transmission. He does it all! Great prices, great service!

Tony has taken care of my car for the last 3 years and has always provided great service. His pricing is very fair and he s very upfront about what work needs to be done and when. He has gone above and beyond for me in a variety of situations and helps me to feel safe as a single woman and taken care of. When I was handed a laubdry liatvof repair items de the dealership, I took the information to Tony, and he saved me 75% of the original estimate due to repairs that weren t needed. I adore him and am so grateful to have him in my world!

***CONSUMERS READ THIS FIRST***UPDATE: OVER $1000 REPAIR AND STILL HAVING THE SAME ORIGINAL PROBLEMOne star is a compliment to this shop, as a negative would be more accurate. I was hesitant to leave my car there due to the "Tetris Style" parking with customer's cars, but I trusted my son who chose this mechanic. That would soon become the least of my worries compared to what happens next.On the day my car was to be ready I called to make sure everything was on schedule because it's a 40 minute drive for me. Once we arrived to pick up my vehicle we were told it is not ready but will be finished in 2 hours. After the 2 hours past we were told it would be ready the following Monday.When picking up my car it was still making the same noise that caused me to bring it in. We were told it would be an additional $100 to fix. (better diagnostics would have been appreciated)Now here is where the problem began, when i got my car back i sat in my driver seat and the driver seat control panel was hanging by wires. Not to be rude, but it obvious how that happened, as the weight limit was exceeded to say the least. when The hood had black sludge. In fact, my car was so disgusting it was almost unrecognizable. It appeared as though a large dog or some kind of animal found interest in my front grill, as the were A LOT of scratches obviously from an animal. The most shocking was the huge, deep scratch, at least 7 inches, I found on my driver side front panel.I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone and I would advise car owners to beware. This mechanic specializes in luxury cars, but is no where close to meeting the standards. I spent over $1000 and appears I will be spending even more to fix their sloppy work. VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least.***update***My son made several attempts for Tony, the owner, to resolve this. Not only did Tony NOT accept responsibility, we didn't even get an apology.

I drove all the way from Gilbert to get my 2006 Nissan Altima repaired with JJ's. My friend referred me and I must say, I am glad I did. I needed the motor mounts changed on my engine. I was given a fair and honest price. You cannot beat the prices! I am a suburbanite that rarely if ever drives to Phoenix so believe me when I say: it was worth the drive!Service: Engine repair

They worked fast, solid work, it might just take you a while to get a response sometimes. But they do have a lot of customers here so it's understandable. They give you a month warranty as well which is nice.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Been going here for 3/4 years NEVER had any problems with them Tony is the best! Upfront honest & respectful! I have sent family & friends to him they also experienced no problems, the job ALWAYS gets done & at an reasonable price.

I brought my car here to get a head gaskets replacement here a while ago & they honestly just made it worst than it was. Yes the head gaskets were fixed along with other parts they said they replaced. My timing chain cover was tooken off to do a timing chain guild replacement, Something I never asked to get replaced but got charged for anyways. Timing chain cover was stuffed with silicone along with oil pan they probably even used impacts on because my bolts were stripped & even cracking my oil pan then it was stuffed with more silicone causing it to go inside my oil pan & all in my oil after it was tightened up & it was driveable but a disaster smoking from engine bay which never happened until I got it back from them other than that I had my radiator not in place due to them rushing to put it in also the fan shrout was all hanging & that s the reason my head gaskets blew again because these mechanics they got in there don t know what they are doing or just rushing to get paid. Also when I took it back for them to take a look at the messed up job they did they still parked my car outside not even touching it so I just went & picked it up. Don t recommend going here at all. ORIENTAL BLUE BMW 323i 2000 was the car brought here.

I have a 2004 chevy Express my transmission went out on itAfter looking and getting qouts every where to fix itI was referred to tony so I tried him out he gave me the best qout and told me he can get it done in 2days and he kept to his work.The van transmission got rebuilt and it's still running great todayThanks tony I highly recommend this shop to everyone
