First time going to Jimmy G's. Excellent, professional customer service. Best I've experienced. They kept me up to date on everything via texts and phone calls. Communication between mechanic and office was superb. Repairs were quick, lightning fast compared to the dealership. Business seems honest; they could have easily told me extra repairs were needed considering the accident I got into, but they didn't. They confirmed the one thing I knew needed replacing and said everything else looked solid. The dealership was fooled and wanted to do $2k worth of repairs. Jimmy G said there was no need. I don't know how they compare on price to other places. I didn't shop around because I felt my repair was time sensitive. They certainly saved me a lot of money compared to the dealership though! The only negative I experienced was that the mechanic got a bit of grease/dirt stuff on the inside of my door and on the console. I was able to quickly clean it up with a wet wipe, but a little more attention to the cleanliness of their hands when they get in the car would be appreciated. Overall, very positive experience. I will definitely be trying them out again next time I need a repair.

Jimmy G's is your best place in town to take your vehicle, and that's coming from an Arizona Native who has tried others but none compare!!I have followed Jimmy from his days over at Gruelichs where he was the General manager. Jimmy and his entire team are honest, trustworthy and caring. Honest, informative, and very communicative! We planned the vehicle care going forward and they were honest about what items were urgent, medium and other tasks that can wait. They also suggested options that were effective/quality, but also cost less than what a typical repair shop would recommend!

I can t thank Jimmy and his team enough. I m getting ready for a road trip and wanted some things to be looked at before we left. What I thought was an issue with my brakes turned out to be nothing at all. The full transparency and honesty is exactly what I look for in a mechanic. They gave me a detailed explanation and recommended some repairs that will be needed in the future, but not immediately. These are things I would assume a dealership would have noticed or advised me on, but they didn t.I highly recommend his shop and you will not be disappointed! Business done right! The Jimmy s team quickly diagnosed and fixed my car. They took the time to explain what was wrong and only fixed what was needed. Great service and experience. Easily the best I ve ever had. Jimmy G's Automotive is top-notch! I recently took my car there for some repairs, and I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received. Hands down best place to go. Met Jimmy and George and felt at home. They are friendly and will explain why they are recommending the services they recommend. I will keep going back and be sending others as well. They did an oil change on my Honda Passport and was done in 10 minutes.

Jimmy (shop owner) is one of a kind! He is honest, very knowledgeable, and communicative. He didn t try to reach deep in my pockets. I had my entire front end redone (new shocks, struts, control arms) on my 4Runner. The work was outstanding and I m very pleased with the results.This is NOT the typical auto repair shop by trying to sell you on repairs you don t need. I m so grateful. Jimmy and his crew were spot on!!! They diagnosed the problem/issue my car was having. Even though there were a few glitches along the way because of parts and such, my car was repaired with the fullest care and safety in mind. Thanks again Jimmy and crew. You re the best!!

I m glad I took my car to Jimmy G s Automotive. I received a couple of very high quotes to replace my shocks. When I brought it over to Jimmy G s, they confirmed my shocks needed to be replaced, worked with my schedule to line up a date for the repair, and used high-quality parts for the repair. They kept me updated throughout the process, and the final price was fair and transparent. There are no surprises, just excellent service! Highly recommend these guys for honest repairs and outstanding value.

As a woman, it's always nerve-racking walking into a automotive repair shop, not knowing anything about cars. Jimmy and his team made me feel comfortable. His effectiveness to communicate and patience explaining the repairs made me feel confident I chose the right shop. He wasn't pushy and honest about the work that needed to be taken care of immediately and things that could be done later down the road. For that I am thankful. Exceptional service & a great team! Great experience here! Jimmy the owner was friendly and professional and got me an appointment on just a few days notice. He got me an Uber home from the shop and back to the shop when my car was ready. Stayed in contact the whole time he was working on it to keep me in the loop and he didn t try and upsell me on anything. Will definitely be bringing my car back in the future.

Jimmy G s is a Definite 5 star+. Jimmy, himself, is a very polite young man. I had a routine oil change, which was reasonable. It actually came in less than the quote. Now that s a first!! The owner was honest with me, about any or no maintenance for the future and that is much appreciated, & very important!!I will definitely continue my business with Jimmy G s and recommend his business to all I know!Thanks Jimmy

Great customer service. Jimmy seems an honest man. I will do all of my car work here! Jeff KrouseI now bring all 3 of my cars here. Jimmy and his techs are quality people that know cars and how to repair them. As a customer, you get constant updates on the progress of your repair. This keeps you from wondering about when your car will be finished and what the cost is. Great place!

Been coming here for a while. Always good service and still continuing under the new ownership. Today came in for some work, I asked for a favor to have them help install a replacement emblem that fell off a while ago, they didn t hesitate to do it at no cost since I had the part and it was easy, I just couldn t figure it out myself, which was very nice. They don t try and upsell unnecessary services like other places I ve been to in the last. While sitting in the lobby and waiting for my vehicle, overheard the conversations the owner and manager had with other clients and stand up guys. Helping with warranty claims and another client got recommended he not pay to fix something that was minor and not bothering him. I enjoy supporting businesses like this because, I know it s quality work they stand behind and that it supports local unlike the bigger chains. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an honest shop to service their vehicle.

I had THE BEST experience at Jimmy G s Automotive! I normally feel so uncomfortable going in to automotive shops to get quotes or get my car worked on, but I felt so comfortable working with Jimmy. He s trustworthy and honest and such a nice person to work with. They did an exceptional job on my car and I feel like the price was really fair. I highly recommend Jimmy G s! I will be back!!

I absolutely can not say enough AMAZING things about the service I received at Jimmy Gs Automotive. I have had cars fixed at several mechanic shops thru the Valley, throughout the years. This place is hands down the most HONEST & REASONABLY priced in the Valley! The owner went ABOVE & BEYOND to get my truck fixed and back to me super quick ! I will be a customer for life! Updated March 2024: had another great experience here. George was great at explaining the repairs and what would be needed at my next service complete with a price quote.Original Review December 2023: Jimmy and his team are all extremely nice. Jimmy s honesty in what is and isn t needed for repair and service is not something I m used to experiencing in the automotive industry. Highly recommend seeing Jimmy for your automotive service needs!

Best service I've ever had in the automotive industry, my mom had drove over 200 miles to visit her grandson, made it down with no issues, go to do some running around at 3:30 pm on Saturday car starts acting up. Called Jimmy Gs automotive, got her in diagnosed the issue and stayed late to repair it. Truly lifesaving she would have been stranded otherwise. I will forever recommend them to anyone I know.

If I could give Jimmy G s more stars I would.My car suffered from an overheating issue for over 8 months. I took it to Sun Devil Auto 6 TIMES! I paid over $2,600 after several repairs and Sun Devil Auto embarrassingly failed as mechanics .Jimmy G s crew, did everything in their power to identify issues, fix them and get the car running safely. They fixed the issue at an affordable rate and I cannot say enough about their concept of superior customer service.They far surpassed my previous experiences working with mechanics and they are now my go-to team for my vehicles. Jimmy was upfront and straight forward working on the repairs and oil change for both my Lexus and Sequoia. I had a small emissions leak in each car and Jimmy had it fixed quickly and for a fair price. .I also had a chance to talk with his mechanic about the issues and felt very good about the service. I highly recommend Jimmy G s Automotive.
