I have a job where I deliver and my personal truck is also my work truck. I put a lot of miles on that thing, so oil changes are a regular occurrence. Going to the dealer was going to be too time-consuming and inconvenient, and likely too expensive. So we looked around and figured what the heck let s give this place a shot. Been about 2-3 years and they ve been great. And while we never thought of an oil change place as a place to get maintenance done outside of oil changes, we were so happy with their service so far that we decided to see what they could do with some mechanical issues that came up, and the service was again excellent. We have no complaints and whenever it comes up with a friend or family member, we let them know about our experience. We didn t expect a chain like this to feel like the local I ve got a car guy that I always go to kind of place but that is what our experience has been. Heck, they even say Hey Jay, welcome back. That s wild! Much better than average service from a bunch of honest guys trying to do their best. 10/10 would recommend.

I can't believe how bad this place has become. I've taken many different vehicles here over the years and this last experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth. My mom took her car in for a number of problems. They tell us they will have to keep the car a couple days while waiting for parts. After getting an estimate for over 2000 she was excited that she had a coupon that should of saved her 10 percent. The only thing it said was valid at this location. When we arrived to pick the car up they tell us the coupon won't apply to this and they also give us a list of things still needing to be fixed on her car. I'm so confused why these things were not brought up before we showed up to pick it up. Her car left the shop with a severe oil leak and a severe power steering leak. They guy at the counter really had no answer just kind of had a shocked looked that I asked the questions. What a joke this experience was..

I was in the Phoenix area for a medical appointment and noticed a weird noise coming from the engine compartment once we arrived.I called a mechanic that was close to the hotel where we were staying, but they couldn't get us in until the next day. I found Grease Monkey in a Google search and called. They said if I brought the vehicle in, they could take a look. I had the vehicle in their shop within 15 minutes.The mechanic diagnosed the sound as a loose fan shroud and also noticed that my serpentine belt was weathered and cracking and suggested that I replace it. At 150,000 miles, my vehicle was due for a belt replacement anyway.They resecured the fan shroud for free and replaced the belt for under $100 (parts and labor). I was in and out in under 45 minutes and could not have been happier with the service.The 10-hr drive home was a little more peaceful knowing that I had a new serpentine belt under the hood.

I ve been going here for years. Very trust worthy shop and people. Just be it my brakes and oil change done. Definitely worth the drive.

I initially went to jiffy lube because thats where I've always gone, but with 2 cars in bays they said they couldn't take any more at 1 in the afternoon. I decided to try grease monkey right up the street and I am so happy that I did. They were so quick, efficient, friendly and and not pushy. Gave me the options and let me choose instead of telling me what I need. They did a great job with my truck. Later jiffy lube, I'm coming to grease monkey from here on out. .

Left the oil filter loose so I lost over 2qts of oil and leaked all over the driveway. and lost the washer on my drain nut. I would not recomend this mediocre shop.

Brought my recently purchased car in for an oil/filter change. These fellows were honest and told me it had been serviced recently and wouldn t need service. They even topped off the oil. I will definitely be back!

The quality of there work has gone down. I brought my car in for a simple oil change. I've had to add oil to in between changes over the past year and they've kept telling me theres no leak. I bring it in last Saturday 9/16 and they tell me after several oil changes throughout the year, that there is in fact a leak and the cant find it. Grease monkey has been the only ones working on my car so how could they not find it the whole time, then say there is one and not even bother to look for it? They wanted to flush my radiator since it hadn't been done so I agreed to that. Then the guy working on my car breaks the radiator cap and charged me 25 dollars more for breaking the part. They replaced my cabin and engine air filters and left my glove compartment a complete wreck, the factory shelf in there has just fallen apart. They over inflated my tires and set off my TPMS light that still hasn't gone off, since I put it back at the proper air pressure. Then wanted to charge me to rotate them. If they looked close enough they would've seen the rear tires are wider then the front and you cannot rotate them on my vehicle. My real concern is the low quality of work done and , trying to sell me on services like a power steering fluid flush and a fuel system cleaning when you know my car has a oil leak you can't find. It's disheartening when I've asked the service guys there multiple times about that specific issue. Definitely don't feel comfortable coming back to this shop.

Called for oil change availability - they said first come first serve. Drove over right away and asked for an oil change and wiper blade replacement. I'm moving 1,000 miles away with a Used vehicle I purchased two months ago and wanted some peace of mind. Instead of jumping on an opportunity to cash in on me, a representative approached me with my oil stick and said, "this oil is in great shape. We also checked your CarFax - this vehicle was serviced 1,000 miles ago - your oil will be just fine for your trip. We went ahead and inspected your vehicle as well as replaced your wiper blades and everything looks great." What a refreshing encounter with what is often a cash-grab from pitstop shops. If I wasn't moving away, this shop would have immediately become my go-to. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you to your staff!Services: Wiper blade installation, Oil change

They damaged engine oil pan during oil change and offered me replacement for $600+ in 3-4 days. Replaced it in another shop for $460 immediately. Don t recommend this place.

Great to finally find an "Honest" shop!! I had been going to another shop for oil changes and brake service for a couple of years. Was told I needed brakes ASAP costing upward of $600 including rotators per axle. Decided to get a second opinion and I'm very thankful I did! Took my 4runner into Grease Monkey off Thunderbird. When they called to tell me I still had quite a bit of time to go on my brakes and I could give it more time then come back! Therefore, I went ahead and had them take care of my oil change after such honesty!!I'm so happy to have found an honest and friendly shop!! Grease Monkey has always been able to come through on their service. They are nice and professional. From the smallest to biggest problems their customer service is on point! We had a check engine light and a quick diagnostic check at Autozone and they told us this particular problem was going to be costly to fix. We took it into Grease Monkey and they helped us quickly, efficiently, very cost effectively. Even when they are down a guy, they have kept their customer service up to par.

Awesome experience! The service was fast, the work was done right the first time and the pricing was fair. On top of that, I felt totally at ease and that I was dealing with an honest mechanic, which is hard to find. I would definitely recommend them for any type of automotive service needs. Thanks guys!

Too many head scratching things occurred during my three hour visit to list here. (for an oil change and tire rotation-typically an hour or less)It was almost comical that a young adult, half my age who hasn't been alive as long as I've been driving looks me in the eye and tells me something that is suspect at best.Bottom line is that my distrust for the organization in its current form outweighs any benefit I may have previously realized from frequenting their establishment.Service: Oil change

I have always been impressed by the service grease monkey provides. I know when I go there I am given honest prices and good, trustworthy service. I get in and out when I get my oil changed. just recently my car needed a new battery and some other minor work and it was done earlier than expected and the men I talked to were kind and professional and willing to go the extra mile when I was a little uneasy about not being able to pick up my car until after hours. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. Everyone who works there is great!Services: Air conditioning, Battery

I called about getting an oil change because I was taking a quick trip to southern California and wanted to be sure everything was in order. Thad booked me for the next day.I arrived, was greeted at my car and the work was completed quickly. They also checked the tire pressure, other fluids, and filters just to be sure everything was okay.The service was completed at a reasonable price and I highly recommend them for your auto needs. I needed to get the oil in my vehicle changed and I was having trouble getting the work done. I first visited 2 locations of one their competitors because I was more familiar with their brand name. The first location stated they did not have the oil filter in stock for my vehicle (even though my vehicle is a pretty common American brand), and the second location said it would be over an hour wait, and didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to get things moving. Not wanting to wait that long, we went to Grease Monkey right down the road. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was told it should be no more than half an hour. I left my car with them and went off to get something to eat. When I returned 20 minutes later, my car was done! I was really impressed by how fast, friendly, and professional the entire staff was. And even though their competitor is closer to my house, I will drive the extra distance to get my vehicle's work done at Grease Monkey. Thank you for the great experience!Service: Oil change

Had a good experience here. Fast service! Super nice guys. Didn t just treat me like a number. Made conversation. I definitely think they would be the type to be honest if something was wrong and would trust them! Highly recommend!

I walked in and they took my car, gave it a full synthetic oil change for a reasonable price and I sat in their lobby and made some coffee. I was in and out of the place in 15 minutes and they were extremely nice and efficient. This was my first time getting my oil changed at an auto shop (I usually do it myself), and it was a great experience.Service: Oil change

Really friendly and HONEST service. They guys came out and showed me my air filter and gave me an honest assessment of it rather than just trying to sell me a new one. Also didn't ask me a bunch of questions just trying to up-sale me, just took care of my oil change. They have timers running while the change your oil to keep a standard and it they go past the time it should take, you get so much off per minute. I heard him saying that to someone at the counter. I appreciate the timeliness too! I will be back with my other vehicles.

As a woman I m always so nervous about getting work done on my car. I shopped around for a decent price and chose Grease Monkey. Despite being a few minutes late, (I called), the staff was very professional and friendly. Most importantly, my brakes were fixed pretty fast, there was no hidden costs or up charges. I m very satisfied to say the least! They earned a repeat customer! Kudos to management for hiring and maintaining such a professional and honest crew!

Rock solid service that went above and beyond with my truck. My truck needed brakes and an oil change. The offer Mobil options for oil which is great! Also, I may know one of the folks there but I never post a review until I've experienced the service and can give a deserving five stars.
