WARNINGThree trips for oil change reset engine lite $2500 and now a trip to dealer for inspection for piece of mind.My recommendation. BEWARE... ... ... blatant thievery emotional distress and luxury automobile molestation we have been robbed and car has been molested unnecessary part changes they molested my car all three trips. The owner of this shop is lacking integrityAnybody else think German auto & sales should be sued for fraud??? The photos are of the part they ripped from my 45,000 mile car because it had a aftermarket Vapor sensor. You really don't want to take your car to these folks beware.

These guys are it! They take the time to truly diagnose a problem and recommend the exact fix. They brought my C230 back to life when every other shop told me it was time to get rid of it.

German Auto Services & Sales was extremely helpful when looking at my vehicle when I was visiting Phoenix from out of town. They went above and beyond what I asked for and provided me with extra information about my car. No high pressure sales tactics. Would definitely recommend.

I recently purchased a German vehicle and I was in the market for a mechanic that specialized in German vehicles.Without thoroughly researching reviews (my mistake), I found German Auto Service. Who advertised a $65 oil change online, but "because Biden is in office oil prices are up" which means they forgot how to update their Google advertising (that can be updated in real time within 3 minutes). Unfortunately their lazy, (and intentional) negligence now results in a $98 surprise for the customer, but only after they've scheduled the appointment and have had their car serviced.Deceptive advertising is no way to start a lasting business relationship which is what I was looking to do with my new car. There is no reason they could not have informed me of the new price beforehand and really no excuse for them to not have updated or removed the ad from their Google advertising account. They just lost my business for the life of my new car over $33.A MONTH LATER AND THE "OUTDATED" AD THAT THEY WOULD NOT HONOR IS STILL UP. SAFE TO CALL THEM LAIRS AT THIS POINT.

Terrible experience. They charge me 1300 to replace upper radiator hose and a hose that goes to the cylinder head and coolant refill, after I took the car in my possession it started leaking again they said bring it back and we ll look at it, call me back saying now I need ah radiator which they should have found leaking if they had pressure test the coolant system the first go around. Now they want an extra 1600 to replace that, they finding these problems on the first try but don t tell you so they get you to come back to spend more money. I will not bring my car back here again.

At the time of writing this review I am 17- I don t want to go anywhere else due to how professional this place is. Most other mechanic shops I ve been to have tried to screw me over financially by quoting $330 for a very small $11 part.I drive over to German Auto service and they get it done for $140.50 (price of the part plus service)After that, I go to get my emissions test done but fail, so I call German auto and they ask me to take it by again to check out what the problem is.I love that they treated me like an adult even though I had no idea what I was doing.

Pretty much got took for a ride at this place, every visit was more then $1500-2600 for the simplest things went to them for about 2-3 years and when I started learning more about cars the more I realized how much these guys were scamming me, went in to have a MAF sensor replaced , he tried to charge me $2600 just to replace that and the serpentine belt, replaced both of them with a YouTube video in less then 20 minutes , Mr. Douglas I believe his name had the nerve to say well the parts and labor the maf sensor and serpentine belt cost me $150 together after tax and it was less then half an hour we are talking $2,450 for a half hour of work that means they charge 4k an hour for labor, man avoid this place at all costs I have so much more I could say but I ll leave it at that tanner was great customer service wise but man these ppl scammed me for at least 8k or more avoid this place please

Fantastic place to have my Mercedes Benz serviced. Tanner is extremely knowledgeable and gets things done quickly and efficiently. Entire staff is friendly and I've never had to take my car back because work was done improperly. If you've got a German made car, this is the place to go.

Warning!! If you don't take their easy deal. They would make sure you coming back for more!!! I feel like the owner is Joe Biden for some reason. If you came up with 1 problem they would give you 2 other problems after whatever they did. Not worth your time, money, and save your car!!!!

3 stars is for ok service, my vehicle was in and out of that place from November 2019 to August of 2023, the last issue resulted in the vehicle cranking and not starting. Relying on the help once again from German Auto, this time they were not helpful at all. Ended up trading the car after (1 more payment away from ownership) and went back to japanese cars. I'm not blaming German Auto but the lack of communication and lack of resources is what was provided to me. So I decided German Auto was not gonna see another dime of my money. They took enough!

So basically everyone here seemed genuine and awesome, but the way they price things does not line up. I was going to pay full price when I first walked in and the owner of the store said I should just pay a deposit. I first believed I was going to pay 4.5k for new injectors and tanner told me they would do oil sensor on them since I was already going to pay so much, which I thought was great, I was super thrilled to let them work on my car. They ended up having my 335i for about a week and when they called me to tell me it was ready, I come in and I end up paying a grand total of 5.2k. 700 more then I expected. I saw a charge for the sensor, an oil change, and an ecu repair? Cool people but they robbed me blind and I don t appreciate it. I paid what I owed and will not be getting service here again. Good people though.

Great Service. Honest, detailed and very customer focused. I have had my C63 AMG serviced there for almost (2) years. I only wish they would open a 2nd location in the West Valley!

I had an absolutely terrible experience here. I respectfully gave them a chance to make it right and after telling me they would contact me and make it right, they never got back to me or refunded me for anything. I paid over $1K for services I didn't request or need and my main issue was never resolved. To top it off their work on my vehicle included ZIP TIES....When I called the first time and explained this they seemed embarrassed and shocked and told me they would make it right. They never did. The original issue with my car was never fixed even though I paid over $1k, $700 of which was labor. $700 to zip tie something. Imagine that.I am understanding and always give someone a chance to make it right. They promised to do so and then never got back to me. Unfortunate way to run a business.Do not go here if you care about your vehicle and your wallet.

My experience with German Auto Service and Sales was awesome!!! From the very start of my conversations with Tanner, he made us feel like we were valued customers. They were put under stress when our original mechanic could not perform the needed repairs on my daughter's 2011 328i BMW. After they made several calls around the Phoenix area and with good references, they picked German Auto to take the car to. German Auto picked up my daughter's car (which was about 20 miles away from their location) and started looking at the repairs the same day. Every step of the process Tanner was in communication with me letting us know what was going on and what was required to do the repairs. Although the estimate to repair the car was higher than my original mechanic's estimate, Tanner explained in great detail why the extra cost. I was so impressed by his knowledge and this service, I added additional services to the vehicle's repair list. I was never pressured to do any other repairs to the vehicle but was informed that they will be needed at some point down the road. This situation could have ended badly but it was not the case. After we picked up the car and driving home, I told my daughter she has found a great place to use for repairs on her car!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND German Auto for your next car repair company!!! Thank you for turning this experience into a positive one for us!! You have gained a new customer for as long as my daughter owns her BMW and all future vehicles.

Amazing staff from management to technicians, everyone knew what they were doing. From lively and friendly receptionists to great service team headed by Richard and Tony that went above and beyond for customers. Jim is is probably the smartest techs I know. Every serviced make/model is covered by their knowledgeable techs. I can't remember a time when they didn't resolve an issue. I highly recommend anyone to go here. Fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. A+ in my book.

oil change and lightbulb.Usually never have a problem. its our second time in, my wife drops off her car for an oil change and a light bulb. 200.00 bill!!!VW jetta! said he had to remove the front clip to change the bulb. really? without even leaving and fingerprints in the dirt!said he topped off all the fluids? apparently missed the washer flluid and antifreeze. Then tells her, she needs a new catalytic converter. more &$@@ Brand new one replaced 4 months ago. then wasn't even about to bring the car up until we paid. in the future I said, just give us a call if there's gonna be a little bit more than normal, or an issue arises. We don't mind paying a little more to get it fixed. But if I wanted to be lied to, and cheated I would have stayed with my ex-wife.

Excellent customer service and amazing mechanics. I brought my 2004 VW Passat TDI to German for a new engine after a engine swap abortion was done at Pepboy's. After receiving my engine from the supplier they tested it and started installation in a timely manner. As expected the car ran perfectly after I picked it up and even better than it did before it took a dive on us. As for pricing; even with some discrepancies caused by a quote made by a former employee, the shop honored the original quote and kept the costs within my budget. My entire experience with this shop was excellent and I would choose them again for my next major project. As an Army Veteran I tend to be very picky and overly sensitive to dipshittery and attention to detail. And; in all honesty this is the first private import shop I have used where the customer service people weren't full of themselves and pretentious as all hell... and in Phoenix that's saying a lot considering I have been to VW shops literally from coast to coast. If you are in the market for a fair honest shop to get your car back on the road, look no further, this is the shop.

Good guys here. Tanner is very nice at the front and is honest. I d probably do a 4 star but What he did for me was appreciative to be a 5. I took my gt3 in and it was there all day and at the end of the day Porsche dropped off the wrong parts so not their faults at all. The car had to stay over the weekend and it kinda bit into my Friday work. Anyways, I get there today car was ready and he threw in a free brake system flush which was awesome so it all worked out!

I have 3 BMW's and I trust German Auto to always provide great service at a reasonable price. Nice to be able to get a ride to work after I drop the car off and a ride back to pick up. Cars are washed and ready to go when I pick up. Excellent service experiences and they literally saved me over $1000 by diagnosing a complicated X5 Diesel CEL issue. Highly recommend.

Last year German auto told me that my radiator flap was getting stuck open thats why my engine light was on. I had already took it to Audi dealership they said I had a aftermarket window and I need to get new window and calibration. That's why the light was on. Because it was a audi dealership and I have a Q7 I got new window and calibration. They were wrong light was still on after spending 800 so this year I took Q7 back to German auto they replaced radiator flap and the light is off just like they said. I will not take my car anywhere else. They are honest, and very experienced with foreign cars. These guys are the best I have taken my car for oil changes and there prices are reasonable. I will only trust German auto with my car it drives like brand new and no lights on.Thanks German auto

I brought my Audi in because there was an issue with the oil. The car kept running out of oil and they told me that there was an oil leak. They also said something was wrong with the tires. I paid over $3000 to get both of them fix. After getting my car back for a week the oil light came back on again. I took it back to the shop and they told me the sensor was bad. I paid $600 for that and the light for the tires was still on. I got the car back and after awhile the oil light came back on again. I took it back to them and they told me that I have a bad engine and that the engine was consuming a lot of oil. They also said to take my car elsewhere to get the tire fix. Like what the heck. After spending so much money they told me to get rid of the car. I was annoyed at this point. I lost so much money just for them to tell me to get rid of my car. I do not recommend anyone to go to this shop. They don't seem to know what they're doing.
