After taking my car to a shop that had it for over a month and nothing was done, I searched the internet and Google provided this gem of a shop. Charlie (owner) gave me an estimate and when to bring in my car. The car needed an engine due to my gentle driving technique, Wesley took my car and all the parts I had gathered during the time it was down and waiting. He has been very meticulous taking it apart and putting it back together. I am very satisfied so far with the progress made on my car. I definitely recommend them for Fiat cars since that's what I have and saw they have other import vehicles in their shop. Will update once my car is done and back on the road!

They didn t provide a quote in writing for a transmission check engine light on a 08 Chevy Trailblazer which opened the door for the following situation.They charged me $1300 for a water pump leak (the water pump was a year old- the receipt states they replaced it), a leaky thermostat housing, and 2 hoses. My notes stated there would a timing cover leak fixed as well but again, nothing was in writing. The transmission rebuild charge was $2200 on my actual receipt but was quoted $2325 if I didn t have all the other services done. On top of all of that, I was asked to pay an additional $27 which I refused to do as the prices quoted were supposed to be out the door but I had to haggle with the mechanic on this too. They kept the vehicle from 6/21-7/3. When I called to ask about the timing cover leak I was told this was not part of the quote and I stated I would not have paid $1300 for the water pump, thermostat, and hose replacement. I was offered to bring the vehicle back and as they could remove the items but I would have to pay for the labor and the original parts were already long gone - so was this really an option?Why 1 star? Vehicles and money come and go but to find honest and businesses with integrity are hard to find. After reading positive reviews, this interaction was disappointing to say the least.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Charlie and crew do a great job on my 16 yr old Toyota and 14 yr old Lexus. He's transparent, honest and backs his work 100%. He's got 18yrs experience working at Toyota, plus the time he's owned Eagle Auto!! Very reliable mechanic.

Wish I could tell you about how well they do repairs. Never got that far. Brought my car in for a diagnosis and they found the problem. I was told no parts available but they would call when they were. I called them after a week to check and the same guy who told me that face to face didn t remember the car or issue. After explaining to him he tells me he ll call me back same day. Another week goes by so I take it to the dealership instead. Part is available but they can t fix right away so I call Eagle again to give them a chance. I let them know parts are available and again am told I ll be called right back (same guy that works the desk). Of course, I wasn t. If you don t want to do the repair or want my business just tell me. Wasted 3 weeks with an issue that could leave me stranded if it gets worse.

My car is older than I am and is constantly needing repairs. Most of the time I could work on it with a mechanic friend but this time I needed my fuel pump replaced and knew it was time to take it to a shop.I saw on the Nextdoor website that some said Charlie was The best and most honest mechanic in the state , so I knew I had to give him a call! I called several other places to get a rough estimate on the cost and he was by far the cheapest!My quotes had been $600, $700 and Charlie was the cheapest with a $570.07 offer!Not only that, when I asked if he knew of a good tow guy he gave me Richard s number. Now last time I had my car towed to or from my house it cost $143. I was expecting the same or a little more because it was about a mile or two further.. he only asked for $75! He was very polite and I was very impressed.It did take a few days to repair my car but when I got there an employee was already test driving it because, and I quote, We want to make sure you re able to get home safely. Although he definitely didn t have to check I was beyond impressed. When I went to pay he revealed that he found the part for cheaper and even knocked off an extra $30 from the original quote!The only difficult part of driving it after were the tears in my eyes driving home. I absolutely recommend Eagle Auto and seriously hope people consider this repair shop next time they need a fix!Service: Auto maintenance

1st rate shop, latest equipment, knowledgeable staff. You'll be delighted to find the owner of this establishment in the shop turning wrenches. That should give some idea of the quality, offered to his customer. I was referred by Michael's Collision Technicians, who use Eagle exclusively for their frame and suspension works.Thanks Mike, and thanks Charley.

My family has been taking our many vehicles to Charlie at Eagle Auto for many years. Believe me, I've dealt with many mechanics in several states over the years and have never found a more honest, experienced mechanic than Charlie! The thing that has always impressed me about Charlie is his ability to diagnose whatever problem my vehicle is experiencing. Then, his honesty about doing the repairs needed, is great. The peace of mind I have turning over the vehicle to him speaks volumes to the excellent and honest service I've gotten here for many years! I would not hesitate to recommend Eagle Auto Repair.

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC, I took my 1965 ford falcon there today to have a brake master cylinder put on because that is what I thought it was. I made an appointment yesterday for 8:00 today,Charlie the owner took my car in and explained it might be until later in the afternoon before my car would be ready due to being very busy, I am a business man as well and totally understand, besides he was highlyRecommended.So to my surprise Charlie calls meAt 2:30 to tell me my car was ready and that it only needed a brake adjustmentAnd not a master cylinder plus they checked out the complete brake system to report that everything wasIn good shape and to top it off the cost was only a fraction of the cost of a master cylinder.This is absolutely the most knowledgeable and honest shop I have ever been to beside the fact that my brakes are better now than they have ever been and I have had this car since 1980.Thank you, Charlie and crew !

Charlie and crew rescued my car from an incompetent garage that had installed shocks horrendously!!! Rear shocks had not stopped squeaking for two months with no resolve at fist garage. Eagle was able to dive in and drastically improve the noise and I am returning to have f ront shocks re-evaluated. They also replaced a bad alternator that the other garage had installed. These guys do great work and actually care about the customers!! I will return and would recommend!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have been trying to figure out what was wrong with my Toyota Avalon for a while. I decided to take it to the highly recommended Eagle Auto. I dropped the vehicle off. By the time I got home i received a call that it was done. Talk about speedy service and efficiency. They explained that a critter was the culprit! Not only did he fix the issue promptly but he made suggestions to keep the critter away AND one of the shop workers fixed my window. If youre sifting through places trying to figure out which repair place is honest and good look no further. This one is great. Will be going there next time I need work.

They live up to their motto: HONEST and experienced automotive repair! I had gone to a dealership and they scammed me so I wanted a second opinion and Charlie helped me out tremendously! Now months later my best friend had car issues and Charlie came to the rescue on a Friday evening! Very reliable and hard working!

i have brought a car over to Eagle to be fixed and have been told i don't need that repair. Another car the owner Charlie suggested i get rid of because it will need too much work. One word describes those two events and that word is honest! At Eagle i have received competent auto repair at a reasonable price. Great to see persons in this line of work represent all these qualities.

Charlie and his team are a group of honest guys who are dedicated to putting the customer first and providing the best auto care in the valley.They won t sell you stuff you don t need and they won t BS you on any repairs that are needed.I took my daughter s car here for an idle issue and oil change. Charlie didn t replace the IAC parts - he cleaned them (after telling me they were completely fouled up and not operating correctly). He noted there was a motor mount broken, but agreed that could wait.Straightforward, honest, reliable and fair prices (less than the dealer). What else do you want in a mechanic??Highly recommended!!!!

Charlie provided me with a quote to fix an impressive coolant leak on my 2008 Focus. The work was performed promptly and I was out the door for the quoted price. Great communication. Show up early or call ahead, however, as this place seems to be quite popular and there may be a small wait. Initially Charlie informed me that he was booked until after the weekend, and I am glad that I waited instead of going elsewhere.

I always thought they were a great shop and I always vouched for them to anybody who needed any car work done.That being said, I had a negative experience this last time. I called ahead to see if they can do an oil change and they had told me that it would have to be a little later as they were pretty busy; which is totally understandable and why I called ahead because I don't want to burden them.So I just asked if they had an opening the following morning between 8:30-9am and they said that was perfect and they will see me tomorrow morning.Now for context, I do not live close to them at all but I stayed loyal to them and never thought about going anywhere else because I was willing to wait for their service even if it had to be another day.So, I go in this morning(which they marked me for) and the owner tells me that he is missing two of his workers and if I can just go back tomorrow. Now, I do understand that things happen that are not planned but I just kind of felt like it didn't matter to him as he was quick to turn me away. It just sucks because I have always vouched for them and told everyone to go to this shop and nowhere else and I also drove way out of the way to get to this shop.So, I went out to my car and sat for a bit and then went to check my oil because I was just gonna wait until the next morning and drive all the way out there again(and take more work off) but then I see the owner leaving and going to his car. He spots me checking my oil and just apologizes and continues to leave.I just don't like that I called ahead to make sure they had the time because I do understand that mechanic shops get really busy; but I literally set up an appointment to get my oil done and he just sends me away immediately.So, I just ended up going else where because I couldn't take off more work and I didn't want to drive all that way again just for me to pay full price when it wasn't really fair to me.I don't think I will be going back there. It really sucks because I thought they were a good shop but this just left a pretty bad impression on me.

Just took my car there to get my high-beams repaired and have an inspection done. Charles, the owner, called me and said there was nothing wrong with the high-beams, it was just a switch in my car that I hit whichprevents them from coming on. Other mechanics could have said they fixed it and charged me for parts and labor. But Charles didn't charge me anything because he was honest! Small shop...big heart! I highly recommend this shop...thanks, Charles!

I came here based solely on the reviews. Charlie is great! I had an alternator installed next day and the price was unbeatable. They also lubed a couple of things and organized my trunk for better efficiency. Who does that?

not many people like having to spend money on a depreciating asset such as a vehicle... but from time to time, repairs are mandatory. my experience with charlie has been as about as pleasant as it could get. extremely accommodating to my schedule and so very willing to work towards my needs as a customer. up front and informative from the initial stages through out the entire project. the project went way over what i had budgeted but in this instance, i most definitely feel like a got an incredible deal. how many times has anyone thought to themselves that having to spend money at the mechanic's shop is just a rip off? i have before and in this case the value outweighed everything else. i must say that the level of professionalism from charlie and his staff is top notch. and the fact that he is the first person in a half dozen that was able to solve the problem, will make me gladly drive from anthem to have him take care of all of my future repairs that are out of my realm.

A rare find:When you find quality and reliability proven over years--keep it! Charles King's Eagle Auto has become a gem in our lives. Trust is often illusive---with Charles King, it's there. He's completed large major work and small minor jobs on both of our cars for at least a decade. And always at very reasonable costs. Sometimes he finds the less obvious but simple fix that others would overlook or not bother with. He is a rare find. Our old '92 Accord is still in excellent condition; our newer Civic Hybrid is the reliable work horse so necessary in our lives that, thanks to his care, we know is in the best condition. I had an awesome experience with these guys! They are a small, friendly dealership that is very busy so you know they're good! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and knowledable.I just moved here to AZ and didn't have a vehicle with AC so Shane helped me get into a 2014 Dodge avenger under my budget! There was some cosmetic wear and tear on the vehicle, but their great service department helped me get all of that fixed before I brought the cat home!I worked with Rafiel (sorry if I spelled it wrong) in the finance department and he was very quick, answered all of my questions, and he was very helpful!I even got the opportunity to speak with the owner when I came to pick up my car and he was so kind, making sure my car was detailed to my liking before I brought it home and he made sure I was helped right away when I arrived!Like I said, this dealership is small and very busy! Everyone who works there is constantly busting as and helping everyone as quickly and efficiently as they can. Even though I was probably a bit annoying calling all the time to see when I could pick up my car they were always so friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I really appreciate these guys!I bought my car one evening, they spent the next day fixing it up, detailing it, and changing everything I wanted changed, and I picked it up the next day. Highly recommend these guys!

This is the most honest shop in Phoenix! I will never go anywhere else. They have full replaced a motor for us and have done some other work and did an amazing job every time. Highly recommend, these guys are awesome and trustworthy!

I asked them to change the timing belt, not realizing that it was recently changed. They did the work necessary to get access to the internal engine belt and noted it had been recently changed. They put everything back together and didn't charge me a thing. Their honesty is just one reason why I will continue to recommend their service.
