Blackwell Automotive was on time, kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and did a great job with our car. Their waiting area is comfortable and has snacks if you re hungry!thirsty. I would highly recommend them!

I brought in my car because of a "fluttering" noise behind the right front tire. It comes and goes, and apparently this was the day it 'went' - no sound or problem could be detected. Hence, no cost at all of the hour or so spent looking for it. These guys are honest, fast working, and keep in touch with the owner through the process. I am happy to have found them.

Blackwell is the only place that I will ever take my car ever again! I got told that I needed $1100 worth of work on my car after getting a simple oil change elsewhere. Called Blackwell, they told me to bring my car THERE, and they would check it out. Come to find out, my car was FINE! Thank you for being HONEST people! I respect that! Never again will I stray. Love you guys! Thanks again for helping me!

My daughter was visiting and when she went to leave, her car wouldn t start. It was Sunday and AAA came out and diagnosed a bad starter. I called Aaron at Blackwell Automotive on Monday and he was managed to fit into the schedule that morning. AAA hauled the car over and Blackwell Auto had the car repaired by late afternoon. Excellent service as always. It s also nice to have Jeff say hello on my visit as well as the owner, Tom. I have been bringing vehicles to Blackwell Automotive for 15 years and their customer service, staff and technicians are outstanding.

I just had my second repair completed by Blackwell Automotive, the first being a separate/involved repair on a different truck a couple of years ago; I was a satisfied customer, so I went back to Blackwell for this. This repair involved "staked" universal joints on a truck driveshaft, too involved for me to do myself even though I do 98% of my own repairs and maintenance. This required Blackwell to outsource the rebuilding of the driveshaft, and I am completely satisfied; the three new universal joints also have grease nipples and typical circlips, so are better than the factory units.

Blackwell Automotive is the only place that I will take my car to be serviced from now on. As a female, I always worried about taking my car in to get serviced because I didn t want to get ripped off. This is the first place that I have felt comfortable taking my car. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Aaron was particularly helpful to me. He explains everything to me and makes me feel comfortable asking questions. I tell everyone to take their vehicles here.

My wife and I have used these guys for years. As always, this job was done well and within expectations on cost and time. (Note to the public- use rat repellent in your engine compartment if you are not parking in a garage! And remove nearby orange trees.)

Very helpful! We traveled out of town, had some emergencies come up, and they were flexible in managing our extended trip, AC has been working ever since and the oil change service was effective.

I failed my emission, dropped the car on Monday morning, got a phone call with full diagnostic and root cause on Monday around 12pm, they ordered the part, got it installed and tested on Tuesday, took the car to the emission test for me on Wednesday morning, got the car back on Wednesday by noon.Seriously, it took them about 48 hours for them to diagnose the problem, get the part, fix it and retake the emission test : AMAZING ! And it wasn't a cheap/quick/small repair, it was the whole fuel tank.As a reference, Ford never managed to get that done for me despite multiple follow-ups for MONTHS (at two different official Ford dealership in Scottsdale who shall not be named...), but these guys at Blackwell Automotive know how business is done and how to treat their customers right.The price was a bit expensive (same as what the Ford dealership quoted me) but I don't care because it was done fast and perfectly and I actually trust their work.I'll start going to Blackwell Automotive for anything related to my Mustang from now on, you guys just earned my business. This is my first experience with Blackwall automotive.I required some aftermarket items installed on my vehicle. After consulting with a garage that I had used for several years and being assured that they would do this for me, when I brought the car in they had changed their tune completely and refused to accommodate me, needless to say I was not happy about that.When I contacted Blackwell, they told me they would probably be able to do it but to bring the vehicle over so that they can take a look at what I needed to be done. I did just that, the manager Aaron took a look at the parts I needed installed, including all the directions that came with them, and determined it would not be an issue for them to install.I brought the car in several days later, the items were installed at what I thought was a very reasonable price.Moving forward I will bring my vehicles to Blackwell.

Brought vehicle for brakes. After checking the brakes I was told the vehicle did not need breaks at this time. I was provided the percentage of wear on each brake. Very thorough. Thank You Blackwell Automotive..

Very relieved to find a shop willing to work on first gen Holley EFI on my 57 Corvette.The service manager Jeff Wine was very helpful in sked the work, and service tech Steve in classic car repair found the elusive electrical problem I had , and now is running the best it ever has. An absolute pleasure working with this business and crew. The hit a homerun for me!!!I've been burned all over town with many trucks and mechanics over the last few years.These guys did me solid. I received an alarm to Service my charging system on my 2010 GMC Acadia, SUV. Blackwell technicians determined thatmy alternator went out and Blackwell Automotive replaced the part which was very difficult to access as it is located underneath and on the side of the engine. It is not in an accessible position. It took more than three hours of labor to replace the part with a new alternator, this is a very difficult job.They also noticed that my A/C was not as cold as it should be and they checked and recharged my A/C system while my car was in the shop without being asked to do so!They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for Vehicle Inspection Failure Repair. I got a reasonable estimate within 24 hours. I let them fix the problem and get my vehicle re-inspected. Although it took a little longer then estimated, the delay was not too long. I was extremely happy with their service and recommend them for Vehicle inspection failure repairs.

If you're looking for a TRUSTWORTHY Repair Shop, look no further. Tom and his crew are not only extremely competent and honest, but have great communication skills and accessibility. They thoroughly explain the problem, what they're going to do, and why it should be done.
