There is a guy with long hair that has been working there since I can remember. He has a passion for vehicles, especially old ones. He is so smart and helpful with car problems that are off the wall. He doesn t sugarcoat anything and gives his honest raw advice when asked. Whenever anyone in my family has car issues my dad says go ask the vet with long hair and tell me what he says We all respect his knowledge and customer service skills

Larry at auto zone is 10/10 in customer service!!!! I came to the store due to a dead car battery and he helped me every step of the way! He price matches with other competitors to get you the best deal! Larry you are awesome! I will only be coming to this location in the future!

I just stopped at the 3868 E Thunderbird AutoZone and had the privilege to work with Shaun. He s AWESOME! I broke my back last year, and I had a very hard time opening my hood to check my oil. On top of that, I didn t remember what kind of oil I needed. Shaun not only checked the oil, he looked up the right year, make, and model of my car on the computer to get exactly the right oil, then walked me back to the shelf it was on, so I could make my purchase. Can t recommend this place highly enough! Shaun should get more than 5 stars

So friendly and outstanding service! Absolutely love this place, they never let me down!Was helped by Gianni on 4.9.2024. Super helpful and helped me understand the battery I purchased and how I can hook up my trickle charger. Thank you so much Gianni!

Sales parts manager Jeff Lincoln helped me when I had an emergency. He is kind,and patient. He really knows how to help customers,and is the embodiment of good customer service. The entire staff is amazing,and welcoming. This is the best Auto Zone I have been to

Usually OK service. Today tho help me decide to go to another auto part's store. I ordered a gas tank and both time's the tank was extremely damaged. The second time the part was not delivered when the store said it was . They guaranteed it would be in the next day. When it didn't come in They acted nonchalant and told me that it's really not their probablem. They also would not apply my Military discount for the part . Also I was questioned about the return the second tank never left the store. I gave customer service my contact info and was given a time they would call . No call. What a joke if you have a generic response to an unhappy customer at least follow thru

This place is great. The mgr. Keith and the rest of the staff are always willing to listen to me try to explain something I know nothing about and they take whatever fragments of information I give them and they always come back with very useful resolves and solutions I can't give it up enough for Larry and Keith and the rest of the staff they're great

Best auto parts store near me hands down. Rob was VERY helpful today. It s employees like him that keep customers coming back to your brand over amazon. All of my warranty information had been lost when customer service merged my information from an old number. I showed him the parts off my car and matched serial numbers and he made it right and honored the lifetime warranty. I ve shopped at Autozone for over 20 years. Your lifetime warranty products are an investment in my vehicle and keep me coming back and spending money. After my experience in a south Phoenix store I was about done with your brand. My confidence is restored.

Should be zero start this time . Always nice customer service not complain about that but yesterday went to change my battery . Matthew was the guy to change my battery after that my car was running weird making a weird rattle noice but I continued on my way home around 3 miles away for AutoZone. My car was near zero RPM and stopped.Well I found out that battery wasn t connected right and that damage my car just because Matthew didn t make sure everything was installed correct . I know weather had been so hot and battery issues happen thru summer.Went back today Thursday Aug 2.23.Guy check again and told me was an Alternator issue ( good thing didn t buy the alternator part) because wasn t the problem) took it to mechanic told me is something to do with AC and that cost around $700 dlls to fix.Is someone in AutoZone will be taking responsibility about damaged my car ?This guys didn t do his job right and now I am the one paying the price .How can you trusted those guys at AutoZone to fix something?Just disappointed because my car was running very good beside the battery issue.

Mr. Larry! You are the man!I called during heavy rain for windshield wipers for my vehicle, Larry made sure that they had what I needed before made the drive to the location, when I got there I was greeted with such a wonderful welcome.He had everything ready for me and installed my wipers for me.The genuine care for customer service is rare to find these days and I am so thankful for such amazing service.I will be returning and recommending this location to Larry for years to come!Thank you Auto Zone!

I am overwhelmed at how helpful and service oriented these guys are at this locationI stupidly threw away my lifetime brakes, had to drive all the way back from Tempe. Not only did Ted make sure not to empty the trash cans before I could get there when I called him, he actually went through the trouble of fishing them out, Even Though I told him please don't worry about that when I called.

I go to a few AutoZones in the valley and I can perform intermediate repairs for my vehicle from general knowledge and YouTube. I have always gotten great service here where the employees take the time to walk me through the little things. Today Chris was kind enough to go out of his way to replace my hood supports for me. Great guy and great customer service!

Very good staff working at this location. I just needed to get diagnostic test done and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a nice young lady who was very happy to help me and it was just a nice experience. I appreciate good customer service and it was also nice to see ladies working there which I've never seen at any AutoZone to be honest.

Thanks to Larry and the guys at Autozone on 40th Street and Thunderbird. Greg helped us with purchasing our battery and filter for our 2018 Ford Edge. We were visiting Phoenix and experienced a problem with the battery. Larry handled the trouble shooting and finally installation. What a good group of technicians!! What great teamwork!!

I had a battery that I was sure that needed to be replaced. They checked it out for me and the test came back that it was toast. Ted was the man, hopped into action and had a kart of tools ready to rock. I brought my tools to but Ted insisted that he swap it out. Ted was very professional nice and made quick work of the battery swap. Thank you Ted

I was just in this store with my niece to buy a new car battery. Service was outstanding! I'm sorry if I spelled his name wrong, but I think it was Akshay, he replaced the battery and was very thorough and clean. We will come back to this store!

Appreciate the help from Dan S. His customer service was fantastic! I wouldn t have been able to replace my ignition coil with out his support. He guided me to where I needed to be. Appreciate you Dan you are the man!!!!

Battery was shot, they checked it to make sure and had a new battery in my car in less then 20 minutes and it wasn't busy but wasn't dead either. Edit: Had another car with a dead battery on 12-12-22 this time Matt had me in and out nice and fast can't ask for much more.

Very helpful. Had my battery, alternator and starter tested for free. Great place to go instead of paying auto shop big money. Then got what I need right there and saved buck's.

Call this AutoZone yesterday to look for a car cover for a 71 Mercury cougar the gentleman that helped me was so kind and checked to make sure they had the car cover. I sent my dad over there and someone helped him right away and even the person we spoke to on the phone came over and talked to him. He got the cover and was back home and had it on all within 30 minutes. Thank you for making it so easy for him.

Larry was absolutely helpful. He spent time with us and made us feel like the most important customer. We were well taken care of and he gained our trust. This is not the closest AutoZone to us, but we will travel the extra miles and request Larry.

I had an AMAZING experience here, went in worried about the service I was going to get. And their employee Larry was a great help! He helped me out with my car battery problem and made me feel at ease, explaining all that needed to be explained as well as answering any questions I had. Will definitely be doing my future car buying needs at this location!
