I'm so glad I took my car to Armstrong's! They did a fantastic job on my car. The cost was very reasonable for all the work they did and I can tell how much pride they take in their work. They wanted to make sure that everything was in tip top shape and took better car of my car than I do! (Which is why the bumper needed to be fixed in the first place! ) I really appreciated their diligence and will definitely use them again.

Quinn and his team are honest, efficient, and great at communicating. The Ford dealership told us that we needed. New transmission in our Expedition, and they were charging top dollar. We took it to Quinn, and he was able to replace the transmission with a new transmission they purchased directly from Ford for $4,000 less than Ford wanted to charge us. We took the car on a long road trip a week later and everything worked perfectly.We have also taken our car in when we had problems with the cruise control the initial thought was that there was a damaged sensor, which would have cost a couple thousand dollars. However, further diagnosis showed that it was just some bad wiring that needed to be replaced, which was *significantly* cheaper. They had it repaired in one day, knowing that we were hoping to go on a road trip.I m super grateful to have found a good, honest, talented mechanic with a great team! I ll happily share his information with friends.

This place is outstanding! I took my Jeep in thinking I was going to have to replace the transmission due to a DYI project gone wrong and was prepared to pay heavily for it. The problem was an oil cooler. Less expensive and quicker to fix. The folks there could have taken advantage of me and told me I had two problems. I love their integrity and will definitely be going back. Thanks!

Updating my review of Armstrong Automotive: my gas mileage has increased from 26mpg to over 32mpg. Better gas mileage then new!Phenomenal mechanical work and customer service, the best shop I have had work done at!I was recently referred to "Armstrong Automotive" after the shop I have been using for 20+ years closed suddenly.I am happy to say that I have found a new shop for all of my automotive repair needs.I took my 2013 Elantra to a dealership for a repair estimate. It came back at almost 4k of work.I had reservations about what I had been told by the dealership and decided to have Quinn at Armstrong take a look at it.From the moment I walked in the door and met Quinn, I was comfortable that I had come to the right place.Quinn reviewed the unpriced list of repairs provided by the dealer, and as he did he said "I'll check what they have listed and let you know if there is anything that DOESN'T need to be done."OMG!!! He didn't say, I'll see if there is more to be done that the dealer missed. No, he implied he suspected that the quote was overinflated with unnecessary repairs.Quinn then said he would call in a few hours and tell me what he found. True to his word. I received his call, and what a surprise!First, he identified almost $600.00 of work and parts replacement on the quote that wasn't needed. Quinn then went on to identify some issues that had not been addressed by the dealer. One of the main issues I took the car in for was completely ignored, and none of the maintenance issues identified would have fixed that problem.All in all, Armstrong Automotive saved me over $1,000 in work that wasn't needed and I was able to redirect those funds to other needed repairs that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to complete.So, to say the least, I was thrilled with the price and service, but Quinn wasn't done with his surprises, as I was leaving he told me he had my headlight, turn signal, and taillights cleaned and polished. They look brand new! And never a charge for the additional work!If you need automotive repair work done, this is the place to go. You will receive fair, affordable, and honest prices, professional work, and premier customer service. Give Quinn at Armstrong Automotive a call, you will be glad you did!

Don t not go here. He will charge you $1000 and then break something else and say it s $450 more to fix. The owner is a liar. He belittled me the first time I brought in my car when I was skeptical. I told him I was pregnant and needed my car he said he wouldn t work on it. Worst shop and experience ever. Don t waste money or time here. Awful and sad experience. He doesn t know what he s doing but he is so cocky he does. Liar. Horrible human being. He is so cocky but so wrong.

I found the best place to have work done on on my vehicle. The clear coat on my car s hood was peeling. They repainted it and put on a new clear coat as well as small touchups on the rest of the exterior.My vehicle was ready two days early. Their work is professional and thorough. They run a good business, and I am very pleased.

A wonderful all around experience and above and beyond exceptional in every aspect! Quinn not only did phenomenal, more than fair priced, and fast work on my car, but was kind and compassionate from the moment I originally called. Shayla was delightful, friendly, and thorough both when I dropped my car off and when I picked it up. I will never entrust my car to anyone else and would highly recommend them to everyone!!! I had a wonderful experience working with Quinn at Armstrong Automotive! I would highly recommend his shop and am looking forward to continued business with them in the future. As a small business owner myself, I appreciated the transparency and timely service. He was honest on what repairs were necessary for my vehicle and did not try to upsell me on anything. I had taken my car to a different shop that quoted me much higher rates. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good doctor. It takes time, but when you do, it is so worth it. Thank you for the great service! I will be back. I highly recommend Armstrong Automotive to anyone in the Phoenix valley.

We have been going to Armstrong Automotive for many years now. They have always fixed our vehicles for a fair price and in a timely manner. Recently our car was "totaled" by the insurance company. Quinn was able to repair it for us so that it both ran great and looked perfect! They have taken care of our 5 plus cars for over 10 years with prompt, honest, thorough, value service. We take them in, or they can arrange to have them picked up. Our most recent example is we took our Jeep in for routine maintenance, and we mentioned the radio speaker was broken and asked if they could fix it. Turned out it was not just a speaker it was a special amplifier and speaker unit built into the center console and were able to get it replaced for us. If they can't do something, they know the best who can. I highly recommend.

Went to Armstrong to have my breaks looked at before driving across the country to PA. They were great! Fast, friendly, and came highly recommended to me by someone in my community. Highly recommend! Also, their place is neat and tidy inside and out. Five stars!!!

Had a couple engine codes that I was having a hard time diagnosing. Between their computer systems and awesome technician they were able to find the affected wires and get the problem fixed. All in under five hours of dropping it off.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

Great experience overall. My car was having trouble, and they very quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed the same day. On top of that, I noticed later that they had done some extra things, like rotated my tires, and taken care of some minor maintenance stuff without charging me for it. The price for the repair was more than reasonable, and it was obvious that they took their time and made sure everything was done right. I highly recommend these guys, and I will be going back any time I have future problems.

My power steering wasn t working so I brought it there they did a scan on it and the cost was 2100 they advise me not to fix it to get a different car. They did charge me 150 for the scan which is over the usual amount. I had a scan for free one time at a transmission place and I can get it done at AutoZone for free I think that was overpriced it should ve been more like $79. They said my battery was dead in the morning after I dropped it off I have never had any trouble with my battery and I still don t. It s pretty new so somebody must ve been in it with the lights on or something. Usually they re very good there but this wasn t a good experience for me I ve used them several times in the past and I was happy. I didn t call back to see more about what was wrong with my car which is still not fixed and he was very nice to give me information about it I still don t have any solutions for my car and can t afford another one. Still looking at what to do .I want to recommend this place because they do do a good job . I wish places like this one use used parts or something.to reduce price.

Hands down the best mechanic in the Valley. We ve been coming here for over 25 years and I have referred numerous friends and family members. This family owned business is so trustworthy and honest. They will even tell me when I don t need something replaced. I have had all services performed here including body work and they have done an outstanding job. Very professional, and very honest which is hard to find this quality in business anymore. My Lexus radiator needed to be replaced and they completed the work in a timely manner. The antifreeze had blown out all over the engine and below. When I drove out the engine and area looked like new. Prices very reasonable for quality work. I very highly recommend them for any car service.

Arnstrong Automotive is excellent!! Owned and operated by Quinn for over 30 yrs. They have integrity and will never treat you wrong. They were recommended by a friend that had used them for over 20 yrs. Quinn has now taken care of 3 of my vehicles. I have always been treated with respect and honesty. As long as Quinn is in business I will bring my vehicles to his shop. The premise is always clean and well maintained. The work is exactly what is needed with a fair price and thorough explanation of service. Quinn explains and demonstrates what has been done. Absolutely top notch. We were traveling through and had a strange issue with rear end of our pickup. I couldn't figure it out. My brother who lives in Phoenix recommended this shop. They diagnosed correctly an unusual problem. They sourced a hard to find set of parts. And they expedited things for us. The price was fine and honest. I mean it when I say absolutely top notch and trustworthy.

Well let me tell y'all about this place! I think I'll have to stay up here in the north because this is the only mechanic place I TRUST! First of all my alternator went out. I had a mobile mechanic come out to see me and did not fix my issue, said it was the battery, the car died again and took $100 from me. I'm a parent and needed my car back working stat! I was very frustrated after my experience with the mobile mechanic and found these guys right down the street for me. The website alone told me they care about their business which was a great sign. I called right at 7 AM and they told me to bring it in and that they would diagnose it for FREE. All along it was my alternator and they fixed it same day. Their shop is super clean. I don't think I've ever seen a shop more immaculate than this one. My car has been running perfect and I don't want anyone else working on my car. I needed a trustworthy mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection for me as I was looking to purchase a used car. Based on the rating and positive reviews, and the fact that they are family owned and operated, I chose to go to Armstrong Automotive and I'm glad I did. I actually ended up bringing two different cars in to be checked out. Both times Quinn and Kyle took care of me. They answered all my questions, did a thorough inspection, let me know their thoughts, and offered helpful advice. I appreciated Quinn, the shop owner, personally taking the time to talk with me which helped me feel more confident and better able to make an informed decision. I plan to bring my cars here the next time I need a mechanic. I'm glad I found this shop, feel they are trustworthy, and would recommend them to all my friends and family.

We have been here once for an estimate and 2nd for an actual repair (driver window motor replacement) They are ALWAYS very friendly and up front. As a woman they didn't rip me off, or make me feel less than & they did great work! Not even 24hrs and our van was ready! My brother recommended the place to us and we couldn't be happier! We will be back for sure!!

I've been here several times with my 2016 chevy sonic. Between Quinn and Chris they have taken care of my vehicle each time, explaining exactly what is going on, when I can get it and how much it will be. Friendly guys, hard to trust people these days but they've prove time again these guys are worth it
