I took my vehicle to this AAMCO because of proximity, I paid $2,300 over two visits to have my motor mounts replaced and apparently they simply did not do that job. As soon as I put my vehicle into reverse the vehicle started shaking, which I was told by another garage was because the rear motor mount is (currently, after payment for the "service" the second time even though I'm told they should have done this the first time, which they did not, I wonder why... Obviously to get me coming back because they're a den of thieves) cracked and loose, the very service for which I solicited these unscrupulous frauds. Do not for any reason bring your vehicle to this place. The front desk lady was nice enough, but obviously their mechanics are either scammers or just plain bad at their job, which has no defense based on the evidence, period. And I'm sure no refund will be given even though the job I paid for was wholly incomplete or botched. Pay more for better service, leave these rats to their refuse.

First I would like to thank Andela, she was one of the most delightful women I have dealt with in customer service in a long time. She was extremely helpful with dealing with my warranty company and ensured they did not cut any corners to put a bandaid on it .Thank you for going the extra mile for me, it will not be soon forgot and I will highly recommend this particular AAmco for any transmission needs I am ever asked about.You are true asset to the company.Service: Transmission

Had an appointment at 10 am. Arrived to my appt. They said there's multiple cars ahead of me (already a red flag).Didn't get a call back until 4:30 pm and that was after I had to call them at 3:00 pm for an update. It took them that long to identify it was an A/C compressor issue (in other words, they weren't fixing anything yet) that they would charge $2000 for it to get fixed.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Every time I come to specific ammco the front desk lady is so rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service!!! Wish I would've gotten her name.Edit:It's not that you couldn't help me with the air in my tires. Its the extremely rude customer service I receive every time I have stepped foot in that building for anything with Aamco the front desk needs some more training on customer service as I work in the medical field and I would never treat anyone coming in my door the way she treated me and this is not the first occasion . don't worry I received great customer service next door with AutoZone and just went ahead and purchased my own are dispenser for my tires. I will be sure to post all over social media and tell my family and friends never to stop by here for anything with Aamco due to her hospitality and customer service

I spoke with the receptionist, Andala on 3.21.23 to schedule my appointment for a replacement alternator. I provided exact information on my vehicle (year, make, model, engine size) in which she informed me that, with parts & labor, I could expect to pay $678. I had my vehicle towed from the dealership to the Laveen location due to the savings. I asked Andala if I could use the 10% off any service coupon; she informed me that I could, so long as the discount did not exceed $100. Once my vehicle arrived, Andala then called me to say the actual price would be $952. I expressed my frustration in that that price was higher than the dealership which I d had it towed from, and most importantly, different than what she told me the day prior when I booked the appointment. She then stated it would be $678 (as originally stated). Upon picking up my vehicle, I asked if the price included the 10% coupon we spoke about. She stated it did. Once the invoice was printed, I asked her to explain where the 10% off coupon was applied. She could not explain it, saying it was already included and she already ate the price by giving it to me for $678, despite this being the price she originally informed me of. Andala is very rude, lacks customer service skills, and dishonest. I would like the 10% off any service coupon on your website for the Laveen location honored.Service: Electrical

First time giving a review. Front desk manager female (name starts with an A) was really knowledgeable and friendly. I came in with no appointment early at 8AM for a tune up on a truck. Got it back at 2PM. Pricing was really affordable compared to a dealership services. You can also finance the services they provide. I would recommend to anyone. Best experience and services I received in the auto industry!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

Had some problems with my car overheating. Turned out I needed a new radiator.. shout out to the mechanics that fixed the overheating problem.. I really made this review for the lady at the front desk. Customer service experience is through the roof superb! Made my experience nice and pleasant . A bit pricey but worth it!

My AC was not cooling for about a minute or two; It was random. Other than this the AC functioned perfectly. I understand AC systems are complex and require to be precise in order to function properly. I have customers and my family in my car so this was high priority. It's embarrassing and uncomfortable to go through this. I decided to leave it to the professionals to diagnose.First and foremost they are incredibly nice and if nice was the basis of the review, they'd get 5 stars. Unfortunately, that's as close to 5 stars as they'll get.I was told this was a free AC check and I'd be contacted before any "work" was performed. A few hours later I received a call and was told my car is "fixed" after replacing Schrader valve, evac and refill; no call was received before this "work" was performed and i did not OK this. Cause of random lack of cooling was allegedly low refrigerant. I assumed they checked the whole AC system to ensure all components functioned, which is where I made the mistake in trusting the "professionals." I was so happy they had confirmed that was the only thing wrong in the AC system, that I paid up the $240 and even thanked them for fixing only what was needed and not driving the cost up with other components. A review for 5 stars was definitely in my mind at the time. Unfortunately the same day the AC stopped cooling for a minute or two at random times.If a professional cannot troubleshoot an AC system with their tools and equipment, I don't know what to say. It's a lot of money for being in the same predicament. I will be rebuilding my entire AC system for $500 with OEM parts and a few hours of work. If you want something done right.... you know how it goes. Compare a complete rebuild to the $240 they charged for not fixing or even identifying the problem. I have a different expectation than the service they provided. I refuse to work with a company that considers this acceptable. They obviously fixed the first thing they encountered and did not listen to the problem. They fixed what they "thought" needed to be fixed.1. I was not called about the service they performed, before they performed it.2. The service they performed did not fix the problem. They likely don't know what the problem is as the AC functions exactly as it did.My guess is they would need me to take my vehicle back for further diagnosis, the diagnosis they failed to perform up front. This next bill will be the "big" one, and since I'm already $240 in, they think I'll be bringing my vehicle back.Service: A/C installation & repair

I can't say enough good things about this shop. They do great work, always get done on time and stick 100% to their quoted price. More then once I've had a repair done here where another part was needed but not originally quoted, and each time they covered the cost without me even asking. These guys will always be the first place I go to get any service and repairs done, and I would easily recommend them to anyone else as well.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioning

I took my car to Aamco only because it was close by as many facilities nowadays don't offer shuttle service. Their hourly labor rate is higher than car dealerships. I had an idea as to what the problem was and I explained that to the office manager prior to bringing the car in. I had to explain it to her again upon presenting the car.Two hours after placing the car in their care, the office manager, whose name I'll omit from this review called and asked to authorize payment. She asked for my date of birth. When I asked why that was needed, she explained.I could go on and on, about the terrible communication I had with the Aamco staff, namely the office manager, BUT, it would take quite a while. This facility works on its terms, communicates poorly with their customers and does not follow through with its promises. Fortunately, my auto warranty company offers discounts on deductibles if Aamco is used AND the repair was done. The office manager is extremely rude and dismissive. For example, I asked when the car's part would be in. I was told it would be on September 12th. I asked, the office manager, and a male who answered the phone, for someone to call me, so I could schedule return of a rental car. Then it was Tuesday, the 13th. No one called me. I had to seek Aamco out on my own by calling again. I was finally told by the office manager that it would be Wednesday, the 14th. My car was fixed on September 15th. When it was time to pick up my car, the office manager called me telling me that my car was ready. While I was talking to her, she hung up the phone. I arrived and found my car in the parking lot and NOT in a parking space. It was in the apex of the lot's curve. My car could have been hit. I WILL write this - I like the new part that has been placed in my car. It seems to work very well.One thing for sure, I will not be returning to the Aamco facility in Laveen.Service: Electrical

I had a wonderful experience here as a first time customer! I have a very old but well taken care of antique vehicle that needed a minor oil leak repair. I was a mechanic a very long time ago, thus I am hesitant to let anyone besides myself work on it, but life got in the way and I needed someone I could trust to do specific work on my vehicle fast. The manager there, James, was very courteous, respectful, and friendly! His crew did an amazing job on the repair itself; it was very precise and a clean job! The shop itself is clean and you can tell they take pride in their work. Best of all, the repair cost far less than I could imagine! James also pointed out some other repairs I should consider and gave me recommendations; at no point did I feel pressured or upsold and he worked with me to determine what plans I had for my antique vehicle. I will take my cars here from now on for sure.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

So I been to this location 3 times the first 2 times they have been great I cannot remember the gentleman s name that helped me but man was he nice went in there because of a check engine light. Long story short I wasn t aware that they where getting ready to close and he still helped me out. The 3rd time not so pleasant I called and checked to see what time they closed as I got of work my check engine light came back on. over the phone they said they close at 6 on the page it also said 6 well i show up at exactly at 4:30 and the lady up front says they re getting ready to close so they can t help me. Seems like many people have issues with this lady s and scheduling. Pretty disappointed as my car is my daily driver and would like to get it fixed asap.

I was told that parts were ordered and wouldn't arrive until late afternoon, in which would have to be installed the following morning. I received a call later that afternoon saying that my car was done. They received the parts and completed the job for me, early. On top of that, someone waited for me to go and pick up the vehicle since it was already closing time . Great customer service!Service: Exhaust

My son went against my advice and still took his car to AAMCO for a simple transmission flush that never got done. Instead he payed $375+ for some inspection and cover removal per there qualified experienced technician. Doesn't make sense to go to a shop for a specific job and up paying for something else, maybe because he was a naive19 year old. Thanks for showing him to be aware of businesses like yours.

Angela really went above and beyond to accommodate me. Even though she didn t have to go the extra step, she worked with me to get my transmission fixed quickly. Without her going the extra mile to help me I d certainly be in a world of hurt right now. So I thank her for her help, she will never know how thankful and appreciative I am for her help. I also like to thank James for explaining all my questions and making sure I understood before letting me leave the facility. I am a little late on this review, but the employees at AAMCO have fantastic customer service. I had just moved to town and made a long trip when from one day to the next I ended up having some major issues with my transmission that needed attention ASAP. The folks at AAMCO were able to take my car in right away, address what was wrong, and fix it over the weekend. Now my Escape runs like new and you'd never now anything was ever wrong. I also have peace of mind knowing that with such an important service they also have you come in periodically to make sure that everything is still running smooth. Again, I can't rave enough about their fantastic customer service and attention to detail and should I have any other car troubles, I'll definitely be heading their way.Service: Transmission

I checked them out for my 50k miles service on my Dodger. Absolutely great service, good neighbors, very knowledgeable, and they used the correct and genuine parts and fluids. They even fixed other problems at no cost, that I have been putting on hold. I trust them and I highly recommend them.
