The employees I came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. I had to have a transmission rebuild, and it was done in a week. I've had it back for a few days, and it is running very well. Their prices were better than the other places I had checked out, and they do the transmission work themselves. Some places I checked would have sent the transmission out to be fixed and just reinstalled it. Great business!!!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Had a huge job I thought was needed, Art did some serious detective work and found a more simple and cheaper fix. Never have I had a place do 2 days of research to call me saying it will be cheaper. Saved me thousands and got the job done quickly. Best shop around

My transmission blew and these guys gave me an estimate of two weeks and ended up picking it up in half the time! Great people over here helped me out big time so if you're looking for a place to get your transmission done come here. Tony's is 5 star transmission! Keep up good work!

Had the front seal on the transmission on my wife's jeep replaced here. Everyone that I talked to and dealt with throughout the process was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! It has been about a week since the work was completed and so far so good! I would absolutely recommend Tony's for anyone in need of transmission service!

I had awesome service with Art and his team!! Art breaks down everything step by step to let me know what is going on and not leaving me clueless. They responde quick if I have any questions or doubts having me comfortable that they will give me great service! I wouldn t go anywhere else Art and his team are the go to in town!!

you people did me right, i ve been to a lot of shops but this is the best, they are super thorough and way exceeded my expectations. the trans was rebuilt for my miata build and they offered to put oem mazda performance parts in it and i was like hell yeah, it shifts really nicely good work

My Mazda 3 was having issues with the TCM causing it to go into limp mode and the AT light was on. Art got a new TCM from the Mazda dealer for cheaper than retail. This fixed the issue and after I paid for the work done Art offered to help with any other issues for FREE. Art went ahead and fixed my gear shifter not going into gear, my brake light not popping up, and the horn not working with one pretty easy fix. Art went ahead and replaced the fuse box which fixed all of these problems. I would recommend this shop if your having transmission issues or any other issues.

Some of the best service I have ever received, I am an amputee and can't just drive any vehicle, had major transmission issues. Not only was the price reasonable, they were speedy, and had my vehicle done next day. True professionals. 10/10 would recommend.

I do not normally make reviews, but my experience was so good I feel people need to know.I brought my Dodge Ram in with an O/D issue that I caused. I like to work on my own vehicles and have never tried to fix an automatic transmission before. I was stumped after awhile and fed up so I called this shop.They identified the issue quickly and even took the time to teach me what I could have done differently so in the future I can do the job myself. Due to this I asked them to reseal my transfer case as I felt they deserved the business and it was belching fluid.One of the seals ended up leaking a month or so later (not their fault it is a super common issue on my model of Dodge) They still warrantied the work and got it fixed up super quick. My truck is now not leaking anywhere and I appreciate the time they took to teach me. Thank you very much for your level of respect and sharing your knowledge!

These guys were awesome! Got my truck back within 2 days, and it s better than ever. Great communication and I feel fair priced. I had other quotes beforehand, and I am very happy with going with them.

Great customer service took my car up to Tony s because I heard a whining noise thought it could be the transmission service tech drove it around and told me it was the wheel bearing which it was replace it and it went away could have easily told me it was the transmission great job for the honesty definitely recommend

Had my car for two days and didn t do a proper diagnostic. The employees were very nice in person.Edit: Changing to a one star. Not only were they wrong about their secondary diagnosis, but lied to me about what they saw. Absolutely do not come here for any reason unless you like mechanics charging you for work that doesn t need done.Services: Transmission, Exhaust

I have had 2 transmissions from Tony's. The first was a Dodge Van years ago. It never gave us any issues. The last trans was a Honda Odyssey. Due to supply chain issues it took a bit to get the correct case to get it back on the road. They kept communicating with me to let me know what was happening. I'm back on the road, and so far, so good. They do take a little longer to get cars out due to the fact they are super busy. They aren't the cheapest around, but if you want it done right by good people, take it to Tony's.

Hands down one of the best transmission shops I have been to. Art is an amazing caring and very helpful person, the staff there is very knowledgeable and experienced. I can t recommend this place enough. They could have told me my transmission needed to be replaced and I would have paid it. Thank God they were more than honest with me. They put some additives in and told me to watch it for 200 miles. Hopefully it works. I really appreciate this business trying to save me many thousands of dollars. I m a retiree and it would have been a big hit to my budget. Fingers crossed! On Sept. 19, of this year, I started searching on Google for the best workshop near my area and well I found 3 and my feeling of being a single woman in a workshop gave me more confidence in going to Tony's Five Star, I WAS NOT WRONG, since in Whatever I called, I felt confident and when I arrived at the place, I said to myself, they seem to work well, and upon seeing the customer service and attention I was immediately convinced to leave my vehicle in the hands of this workshop, since The manager named Pedro inspired more confidence in me when he saw that I am a woman and I rarely explain to him what he has or will do to your car, without knowing with my eyes closed I left my car, and immediately the next day I already had my car Knowing my economic need, he gave me payment options, I felt very confident and truly as a WOMAN who knows nothing about mechanics, much less CAR TRANSMISSIONS, I 100% RECOMMEND TONY'S FIVE STAR AT 95 AVE, NTE. Honest and Accurate! I came here to diagnose an issue with my transmission. It just started leaking a bit of fluid on the driveway. Addressing this issue first before the bad water pump was crucial so I could decide if I was going to sell the car or repair it.The gentlemen in the front office took the time to listen to me describe the issues and how the vehicle was behaving on the road. He then ran a (OBD2) code diagnostic using a snap on tool. Turns out the vehicle just needed 2 new input/output sensors for $25 bucks. He even recommended a shop on 43rd and camelback that had them in stock Finally he encouraged me to put them on myself saving me hundreds of dollars and change out the solenoid pack gasket which is likely where the leak is from.Great company, great mechanics, great service - You just don't get that these days - Thank you!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

If you are looking for an integrity based transmission shop that does great work AND has amazing staff then you've found them!! I had the transmission rebuilt for my 14 Chevy Impala. It was lengthy job and some complications arose. I made most of the status update calls but when I called PD was very thorough and made sure I understood his explanations. When the job completion date changed PD got a rental car for me to get to work. I had just started my job so I needed to get there. When my car was finished I discovered I had no ac. Tony, PD and team took amazing care of me! Hands down, best shop ever!!! I will never go to any other transmission shop should the need be presented. I feel like these guys are my family They went above and beyond for me.

Tony (owner) did an excellent job building and now, (not sure if he is retired or semi- retired) continuation of this business. The employees are exceptionally qualified. I told one employee their website "sucked". I was told they get 9-10 vehicles per day just on referrals. Wow I couldn't imagine how much more business they would have, I understood. PD is perfect at explaining what is going on, what could be going on with your vehicle Excellent knowledge communication I did have to call after time they said they would call but the call was answered immediately, with explanation as to what is happening with my vehicle I also dealt with Art who was also knowledgeable about the business and my vehicle Both PD and Art are fantastic as I'm sure the rest of the crew is Thanks guys I appreciate you, 2014 GenesisService: Transmission

Best costumer service I ve ever had; they explained all my issues very clearly and respectfully, being a woman I am always intimidated going into a automotive shop, but they were the most respectful and kind staff I could ve asked for. I can't day enough about the service, respect and commitment PD and his crew at Tony's has for the Customer Service provided to me and my family. My families Chevy transmission went out, we were in Phoenix to say our last goodbyes to my Uncle whom passed Christmas Eve, Christmas day, the Chevy was acting up, took it to an Engine shop to find out it was a transmission issue, we had to leave the Chevy with PD and his crew as I live in San Antonio and my mom, who's truck it is lives in Indiana, he took great care of the truck, great care with us, kept in contact with us and even called when it was ready so I can plan a flight out. Great work, great mechanics, above and beyond great service!! Thanks for taking care of my mom and dad!!! Please keep Tony's shop in mind if you need any transmission work, they are excellent!!!

Diagnostic test (not at Tony's) showed we needed to replace the transmission switching solenoid. Since it's an internal part, none of our non-professional mechanic friends have the expertise to do it for us. Tony's came very highly recommended. After performing their own testing/evaluating, Tony's agreed that only the solenoid needed replacing. We are quite certain that a name brand/national servicer or the dealer would have told us that the whole transmission needed to be rebuilt, and then would have probably gouged us but good. Tony's honesty and quick service convinced us that the several high recommendations we received were well earned. Thank you, Tony's, we will be sure to spread the word that you are the place to go!

If you're looking for a transmission shop you can trust then look no further. I took my truck into Tony's to get a transfer case leak fixed on my 2011 F-150. After shopping around Tony's price was significantly less than what christian brothers auto($1200), the rodeo ford dealership($1800), and AAMCO($2300) had all quoted me. Not only did Tony's fix the leaking seal, but also replaced all other applicable seals for a little under $800. They also had a fast turn around time and I got my vehicle back far sooner than I had originally anticipated. The most impressive part of my experience was when the technician working the front desk literally ran to get my car when I was there for a pick. The people at Tony's are honest hard working people that you can trust.

Tony, my corvette has been in your shop for three weeks. The manager said they ordered a new speedometer sensor but after three weeks the car is still not fixed. I can get the part in just one week. Please check what is going on at the shop with my car.BillThey came through with the part needed and got the car fixed with no extra charge. The needed part was just not made anymore. A substitute was found after some research. They were very apologetic and courteous.Bill
