Well-maintained, popular casino with a nice grill, (great burgers!) and a nice dining room, the Cedar Ridge Restaurant (great steak sandwiches!). I have had private parties catered here, and the service was excellent. A waitress named Molly handled the large groups with efficient ease! The rooms were comfy and clean, recreational gambling on site was fun, with a variety of options to play. The facility is on the outskirts of the town of Payson, where the thrift and antique shoppers can find a variety of fun options, and for outdoorsy folks, the hiking, biking, fishing opportunities are abundant! Don't miss Green Valley Park at the end of Main Street for checking out a nice lake with abundant bird-life and a playground for the kids to burn off some energy. The Zane Gray Museum is an interesting place to visit while at the park, and there as well.

I just came for the casino. I have stayed here once a few years back and the rooms were nice then. I say they still do. Everything else looks the same. The casino was a lil busy at the time I was there. 7pm-9pm on Thursday night. Still not so bad. Just not a real big place compared to others. Nice over look while you are outside if there is daylight when you come.Nearby activities: The town of Payson is not very big so I wouldn't imagine that your choice of other activities are more than likely going to be limited.

Winner winner steak dinner!!! Stopped in to have dinner and picked up some extra spending money playing the casino. Had a tasty steak dinner with a baked potato and seasoned veggies, DELICIOUS!!! It put me in a good mood that I didn't mind losing at the roulette wheel when Lady Luck switched course, and I hit a nice little win on one of the video machines. Great little spot to visit when in Payson, AZ.

Over all I do really like this casino. They have great food, free soda and coffee. The security, waitresses, cashiers, and bartenders are amazing. Doesn't smell like smoke, you can smoke inside. It is a very clean casino. In the early morning hours they have to change out the cash boxes on the machines, however as a customer when you've waited over an hour to finally get a bonus, the bonuses are few and far between. To be rudely ordered off your machine not permitted to witness your bonus. Is unacceptable, especially because they cannot change the cash box until your bonus stops. I had to stand 30 feet away, I missed the entire bonus while they watched it. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me do to the time of day I was there. There won't be a 4th time. If this happens one more time I won't return. Perhaps if the employees that do this job could have some additional training in their people skills.Without customers there is no need for their job, don't run off the regulars with rudeness. Let them enjoy their bonuses they pay for it after all. There are alot more casinos for us to choose from with employees that treat their patrons with respect.

Came up for the weekend, the room was nice, clean and well maintained. The food at the grill was excellent where we ate the first night and dinner in the Cedar Ridge restaurant was delicious. We had a great time and hope to come back.Nearby activities: The casino has an entrance for hotel guests which lets you right on to the floor that was cool. Payson is a small town so everything is close by.

I spent less than an hour at this place, I plan to return to get a better Idea of what this place is all about and I will leave a better review. From what I saw, it looks nice, pretty standard as far as casinos go.

This is the best place to stay when visiting Rim Country....it's situated right as you enter Payson off the 87, close to everything, so convenient. If you're into gambling they have all the usual games and tables but the thing that stands out to me is their customer service - from the front desk lead to security to bar staff, I have yet to meet someone who wasn't friendly and attentive. I've stayed at a lot of properties in my life and since the pandemic overall HOSPITALITY went out the window at the large hotel chains...and in most Vegas casinos it left years ago...Not here. I found that refreshing. Definitely recommend even if you aren't into gaming, it's by far the best hotel in town for the best price. The only thing I wish was different was later hours, they close at 10p on weekdays, I think it's later on weekends & I'm a bit of a night owl . I have stayed winter and summer and always look forward to coming back. Thank you for the hospitality!!Rooms: Very Clean, Spacious, Mini Fridge, couch. Great rates for players club.Nearby activities: Hiking, mountains, creeks, lakes and anything adventurous in Payson you can Imagine.Safety: Very safe! Competent and professional security, tonto apache police station is nearby. And Payson is a quiet town, not your usual casino vibe.Food & drinks: High quality food at reasonable prices, not something you find everyday. I just wish they were open later or had a late night food option.

I learned that you must carefully read the slot screens!...lol. I sat down to a 1 cent slot and put in my $20 and selected the 40 credit play option. I pushed play and in two plays my 20 bucks was gone! I asked the attendant about that and he showed me how to change the option to play the 1 cent or 5 cent....something only a "well seasoned gambler" would know not a novice like me. The newer games automatically give you denomination option screen, but the older slots are "tricky"....after that "lesson learned" I ended up recouping what I lost. Albeit, I still had fun playing. I didn't like the open smoking tho. I was comfortably playing on a slot and a lady sat down next to me and lit up her cigarette....she ruined my "good chi" so I cashed out and moved. The house keepers did wipe the slots down and I chose to mask up while inside. As with all casinos, it is a "hit or miss"...I hit while going down to PHX and missed on way home... /

Overall good stay. Was disappointed with security making me dispose my kids water in the pool area. It s a hydroflask. Not glass.I asked him, what if my kids get thirsty. He told me to get them out and take them back to my room.He clearly doesn t know how kids (4 and 5 year old) operate.Don t take your job to serious guy.

Very rude people working at this place, refused my flipped VALID ID and couldn t give me a reason why, wouldn t take my vertical id or my player card. After that experience I don t really wanna waste my money here either, also no need to try the restaurant. Poor service skills, you ll wait 15 minutes before even being greeted. I d stay away

Accused me and my family of dropping a folded up 5 dollar bill with a "white powdery substance" on the floor, threatened to take us to jail but wouldn't let us see the footage of us dropping anything. This casino is based on a Reservation of 140 people, all the tribal chairman have White and Hispanic names. Seems like a made up tribe to build a casino and illegally make money. If you doubt me DYOR, look it up, sketchy as he'll. Also not 1 Nattive American works there. Odd. Scam casino and if you go, get ready to deal with an inexperienced and young/dumb security staff.

We went for the prime rib special they have on Wednesdays. The Cedar Ridge Restaurant was very nice and had a nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very professional and really great!Unfortunately, the food was just okay. The prime rib was a really nice, decent size, but lacked in flavor. The Au jus sauce tasted like bullion cubes and if you like having horseradish sauce, you may want to ask for more horseradish on the side. The veggies were good, but the noodles lacked in flavor and the mashed potatoes were like box potatoes. The salad bar was everything you could want for a salad, but only 2 soups to choose from on the soup bar, which we wanted neither one.We will be going to try the Chinese buffet, just to get a better sense of the food they have here to offer!

Staff is friendly and helpful the only draw back is that during the week they close at usually 11:55 pm but they are open 24 hrs on the weekend.Noteworthy details: All you can eat crab legs on Tuesdays or Wednesdays sorry I can't remember exactly which day?

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nice and the prices are extremely reasonable for such great accommodations. The indoor pool is also very nice. The employees where the best part every one throughout the hotel, casino, and restaurant were all so nice. Make sure to become a member with the players club (I think that's what it's called, ask front desk for verification) to get great discounts on rooms.
