I found this boat mechanic while doing a Google search. I liked the fact that they were mobile and they had great reviews. I called and spoke with Kevin and the price quoted for an annual service was reasonable, especially considering they come to you (I live in Mohave Valley, AZ). I am happy to say the experience was pleasant and Kevin was a true professional. I had bought a used boat, 2004 Chaparral Sunesta, and it turns out the previous owner had not kept up the maintenance as good as he claimed he did. What a lifesaver! We had a big group of college grads out on our boat for the weekend, had a great day Saturday, then pulling into the slip, it was windy and we couldn't get it into reverse. Finally got the boat tied off and we asked around for a mechanic who works on weekends. Kevin at The Boat Doctor was recommended, met us at the boat the next morning and had us back on the water by noon! Kevin literally saved our daughter's graduation celebration! She had friends who came from all over to celebrate and we didn't want to let them down. Thankfully, The Boat Doctor works weekends and was able to find the issue and fix our boat quickly! This company helped us when our golf cart s wires fried in the excessive heat in Parker recently. Kevin was great! He responded promptly to my text request for service. I wish I could give Kevin 1000 stars. He was absolutely amazing when my family and I came out to the river for our yearly vacation and our boat wasn t running properly. It was misfiring all over the place. This man went above and beyond to help us fix the problem and was out to our place multiple times and for multiple days. He never gave up trying different things to help us rule out what the issue was. And he was able to get us back on the water before no time! My gas golf cart electrical wires were fried. I had initially contacted a mobile golf cart repair person who told me to buy a new golf cart. An electrician friend looked at it after that and said it could be fixed. The Boat Doctor came out and fixed it in a little over 2 hours. He talked with me as he was fixing it and explained what was going on. The cart is running perfectly now. I guess I didn't need a new golf cart after all. Thank you, Kevin.

Kevin is the man !! Was having some fuel issues on my sons ski boat. Tried everything including fuel pump, filer, etc. Did a Google search and found a few boat repair shops in Parker. Left Keven a message and within minutes he called back and said he could squeeze me in since I was located on his way home. Stopped by within hours and quickly diagnosed the problem (cracked fuel line going to tank) and came back the next day and did the repairs. Price was very reasonable. What a great find !!! Kevin is truly the type of business we are lacking. He is hungry for the business which is hard to find any more. My boat broke down on the river late in the afternoon on a Saturday. We were lucky to be able to get assistance from shore and tie up at a dock. Spanky's (a local RV/Marine store) referred me to Kevin.Kevin tried to help me diagnose the problem over the phone first, but when those quick-fixes didn't do the job, I called him back and he came to me within just a few minutes since he was already in the area.At this time it was already getting dark, but Kevin dove right in and was able to identify a short or fault in the wiring. That is a much bigger job to track down and repair and doing it on the water was not going to happen, but Kevin was able to at least help me rig it so the boat would start and I could get it back to my trailer.I 100% recommend Kevin. I really appreciated him helping me so quickly and on a Saturday night.THANKS KEVIN!Service: Engine repair

What a great experience fast professional and friendly. Kevin came out and removed three rocks from our jet impeller. When we put the boat back out we had a check engine light and the battery didn t seem to be powering properly. Kevin came back corrected everything and even added coolant and did not even charge us. We highly recommend Kevin and his service.

Kevin saved my butt on 7/7/21 and I got home safe. I blew a hub and bearing out on my boat trailer in Parker. Home was about 225 miles away. I called and he had a couple other jobs in Havasu but told me he'd get to me. He showed up in the early afternoon and had me repaired in under 2 hours, including a trip to the auto parts store. We were so lucky to find Kevin at the right time. We were at the start of our vacation and our throttle was giving us an issue at the launch pad. We ran into his wife and she told us about Kevin, he came right over to check out and evaluate the problem. He found the part very next morning and had us on the water same day. I brought my boat down from Minnesota only to find that it would not start. Kevin came out within 24 hours of my call and diagnosed the problem. After that problem was solved, another issue arose. He returned, again within 24 hours, and again solved the problem. Kevin is knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. The Boat Doctor is Amazing! Our Boat broke down in the middle of the heat and also on board was a toddler from the time we called the boat doctors they were out within 30 to 45 minutes to make sure we safe.Within no time he was able to diagnose our boat fix the problem very reasonable on the service price very professional and made sure to take it on the lake test drive before we put our family back on the boat.We were back in the water within a reasonable time considering was a long busy holiday weekend they got the job done!!We had called the local mechanic shops that were mobile and no one will be able to see us. Waite time was 2 weeks or more !I highly recommend the boat doctor and ask for Kevin he is so amazing he even gave us a call back the next day to make sure everything run well.Thank you Boat Doc you have a amazing boat Mechanic!!! My husband and I had the best experience with Kevin from The Boat DoctorWe had driven 8.5 hours on Wednesday April 28th to our campsite at Pirates Den in Parker Arizona . While setting up the trailer we noticed a substantial amount of power steering fluid under our truck . Being so far from home , we of course panicked and wonder how we would ever find someone to help us fix it before our journey back home .. that s when my husband found Kevin at the camp site . He was already lending a hand with another camper but he came right over when he was done to evaluate the problem . The next day he was back and able to fix our truck in no time at all. We thought it would cost us an arm and a leg for his service but NO . He was so fair with his pricing we were so thankful for that !! Not once did we worry that he wouldn t call us back or not show up . He knows his stuff that s for sure !! Not once did he give us the run around . I highly recommend The Boat Doctor to everyone In The Parker area !! Boats .. cars .. trucks he knows what he s doing !! We got into Parker on a Saturday afternoon and found our boat that had been in the shop still wasn t running. He came out on a Saturday evening and worked tirelessly trying to get our boat up and running. He ordered parts for us and was very fair in pricing. Would definitely recommend Kevin to anyone in a bind on vacation!

Kevin showed up when he said he would and quoted me a service price. He did the service work as he saud he would. He kept my boat and driveway clean. The best part was I didnt have to tow to a mechanic and wait around for my boat to be worked into the other boats already there. I'd definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to others in town and those who are visiting and need their boat fixed in a hurry.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Kevin came to my rescue on my gulfstream independence RV slide when another service company left my RV torn apart, wires cut and the job unfinished. Everything is working again and I would recommend the boat doctor to anyone. Thanks Kevin for fixing my RV!

Kevin Was Awesome! I called Kevin and he came out the same day and repaired the linkage on my Mercury outboard, and gauges. He knows Mercury outboards. My neighbor stopped by and he even repaired my neighbor's big block Chevy valve spring

Top notch service! I have used the boat doctor for my RV, my boat, and my trailer for my boat. He has always been on time and does a great job with whatever needs to be done. We are on vacation in Lake Havasu. Our boat stopped working while on the lake and we still have another 4 days here. I called at least 20 places who couldn t see me. I called the Boat Dr and explained what we were experiencing with our boat. He said it sounded minor and could squeeze us in. He was honest and said I can t guarantee I ll find it right away but I ll try. Literally not even 30 mins and he figured out what the problem was. It was an easy fix. He took the time to squeeze us in so that our vacation with our boat wasn t ruined and I am so thankful. He also educated us throughout the process of figuring out what was wrong as we are new boat owners. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you so much!!Service: Boat trailer service
