Last week had tires put on my Ram. Had appointment set, no other cars in tire bay, still took 2 and a half hours to mount and balance. Drive for a week, horrible vibrations, came back in, no other cars in tire bay, promised me 30 minutes to complete. Did not even start on tires for 45 minutes. Asked manager about it, and she doesn't seem to care. I would go to a different location, I know I will.

After making an appointment 2 weeks in advance, getting there 20min before the time schedule, not having any other customers before myself, it took them 3 hours to replace 4 tires. The next day, I realized the 2 tires were installed the wrong way (tires show the rotation on ther side wall, failure to follow this, friction, speed and pressure can result on the tires to come apart while in movement) . Went there again. They wouldn't accept on their records they installed wrong and mark it as "fixing a flat tire" ...plausible deniability on their system, ...and we all know that "computers NEVER lie" except for the people who enter the information and who is going to believe the customer? Right? It took them 2 hours.

I recently brought my wife s car here for a simple oil change and they were quick and friendly. However, when I got the car back and drove it to my wife s work, I noticed a foul smell and smoke coming from the engine bay. After checking it out, I found a large amount of spilled oil all over the engine and therefor smoke coming from it being burnt off I assume. Returning in my own car, they said the tech that did the oil change noticed he overfilled the oil reservoir which made me question why he didn t clean it up if he knew he did that? Not sure. I brought my wife s car all the way back to the auto center where they cleaned up the engine bay. Taking about 3x as long as a normal oil change would have if they had cleaned up the spilled oil in the first place. 3 days later and there is still oil burning off the engine. Really insincere apology and no effort made by management to make it right. Low prices for an oil change but you get what you pay for here.

So I see they deleted my last review I went in for a oil change two weeks ago a hour after my engine blew entirely I had mieneke look at it and they said that Walmart did not replace my filter cap on top of a bunch of other little parts they did not put back got a call from rose (on her personal cell phone during business hours) the auto manager at Walmart after she laughed at me and told me my car had a oil leak basically demanding me to bring my car back so she can see what s going on I don t trust her or her team I think if I take my car back they will make a hole somewhere to prove a oil leak that mieneke is telling me and has documentation that there isn t and wasn t ever a oil leak I don t have tow money to keep bringing my car to her I am having a attorney contact them as I have no car and no compensation from Walmart at all and I made note that my last review was taken down and let the lawyer know that as well do not let them work on your car

Worst service!! They always try to guess the problem with your car. Changed my batteries but still had a problem, so they told me to change it to a different battery size( cost additional 100$) but seems out that the issue is not with the battery. I requested to replace back the cheaper battery but they said no even though they are the ones who made the wrong guess.

Don't ever answer their phone and when you do get through appointments aren't available immediately rather have to be scheduled days out at a time for a service that used to be so simple....

Terrible experience here.I wouldn t recommend coming here if it was the last and only place available.They clearly don t care about honoring the service agreements they sell. Only about selling. The safety of their customers is the obviously last on their list of priorities.If you value your safety, time and money, go quite literally anywhere else.Period.Rude. Untruthful and uncaring.

I ordered two tires online with the tire installation at this location as advised by someone on the phone the day prior. The manager told me I would have to cancel my order for a refund the following day (wait 3-4 days to process) because the online order team hasn t brought the tires from the back to the front and would have to pay for the tires again. Meanwhile they had two of the exact same tires on the shelf. Waited over 4 hours for them to install two tires. Probably the worst customer service i ve ever experienced, not once did anyone apologize for any of the inconvenience. The manager Rose said that it wasn t an inconvenience on their part at all and there was nothing they could do about it.

Great place. Prince is fantastic. We get our oil changes and tire services here and are never disappointed. The longest we've ever had to wait was 30 minutes but it's Walmart so we just went in and got our shopping done while our car gets serviced. So,convenient. Prices here are so reasonable.

Took like two hours to get to my car for a tire patch on a slow air leak, and then told me I needed to replace the whole tire because they couldn't patch it due to the angle of the nail to which I said "okay, leave it how it is, I'll get a second opinion".I took it down the road to a tire shop, told them I needed a patch, and they repaired it within about 15 minutes for 20$. I'm guessing the mechanics make commissions.

I always get my tires and batteries from Walmart on all my vehicles, and an oil change here and there.Not only can you get your shopping done while you wait but the prices and warranties are better overall.The road hazzard is only 10 bucks a tire and I have used that several times and with the great prices on tires compared to corporate tire shops it really is a great deal.I get the highest tier batteries that come with a 5 year warranty, 3 year free replacement and 2 years prorated.Also worth noting, I have never had to use the battery warranty because they last! Even in the Phoenix HEAT!The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the variable of technicians you will encounter. Some make your experience easy and effortless while others can cause seeming endless frustration on their lack of knowledge. But in no way will that deter me from going back for my next set of tires, LOF, or battery replacement.

I had a dead battery and couldn't start my car in the Walmart parking lot. It was 6pm and the auto appointments were full and the lobby was packed. Regardless, Ed and the other mechanics were able to fit in my appointment for a new battery so I wouldn't be stranded. I'm so grateful. The staff were kind, informative and helpful. I've been to this location for auto care before several times and I've never been disappointed in their service. I highly recommend this location.

I wanted new tires, balance, alignment and an oil change. They never picked up the phone. I called 3x and let it ring for 10 minutes. Obviously they don't want our business.

The Auto section at this Walmart is a complete joke and a waste of time. These people are NOT mechanics. My friend took her car in for an oil change and they not only spilled oil everywhere, but they attempted to clean it up by spraying their mess with water. Then even left a towel in her engine which caught fire. The manager Prince is as rude and unprofessional as they come and shouldn't be in customer service if he thinks it's OK to argue with customers and call them liars. He truthfully made the entire experience so much worse than it needed to be. Do NOT take your car here if you value your life.

I desperately needed a new battery to be replaced. A different location didn t have my battery, and called this location. They advised they had my battery and were able to replace since they don t close till 7pm. I arrived at 5pm and the manager Prince refused, saying they are at capacity. I explained to him they called ahead and was told I could come right over. Prince had poor customer service, was rude, and refused. Very DISAPPOINTED this location has such poor management!!!

All I did was buy a battery. I already had it pulled from the vehicle. They tested it and confirmed it was bad. They looked up the right battery, and it was a quick transaction.

Wasted about 2 hours total trying to make an appointment by phone and they wasted an afternoon with a walk-in.I couldn't find anywhere to schedule an appointment online and so called to avoid long wait time. I called before close and after waiting for 10 minutes for some one to pick up they say that their system is down and can't schedule me. I tried calling the next day and their either never picked up or would pick up and put me right back on hold. One person answered and asked me to hold. After holding for more than 10 minutes I gave up.Ended up just going down on day three to get the tires I ordered online installed. I gave them my keys at 2:30 and didn't get my car back till 6!!! I had planned on it taking some time, but dang. I went to the gym in the same complex to pass some time and then ended up sitting at Walmart for 90 minutes waiting. Convenient that my car was ready just in time for them to close. Never again!!!

I'm happy to finally give someone 5 stars. This department deserves it! I got in around 10:30AM for an oil change and they had it done within 30 minutes. Seeing the other reviews, I thought that I should not even attempt this Walmart, but I wanted to see what all the bad reviews were about. I suggest going early on Friday morning like I did. Hopefully you will avoid any unfriendly customer service like I did. Thank you LaLa and the gentleman there at the counter with you. You both did a great job! Keep that going!

Went for tire rotation, took 2 hours because person working on car was also responsible for checking everyone else in. What do I expect for $20?

Do NOT come here for an oil change. They did not screw in a bolt in my car after they changed my oil and now my car s oil shield is dragging across the ground. Heinous service. Do NOT come to this Walmart auto center.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

These people had us sitting for almost 2 hours just to tell my mom they couldn t do the oil change because they were out of a certain oil her car uses. Why they didn t check to see if the oil was in first before having us wait that long for nothing?!!! Then the service is slow every time she comes here. She will not be coming here anymore! Thank you Walmart Auto Center in Mesa Riverview for wasting her time!!Service: Oil change

My car was finished with the oil change and the guy just sat on it, a 20 minutes oil change took an hour and 20 minutes. I was the second one on line when it first opened.

So I go into this Walmart to get a new tire they check all my other tires say they re fine and tell me I m good to hit the road, not even 5 minutes later and I have a flat tire, didn t run over a nail, nothing, this absolutely ridiculous, and to top it off they were rude when I first went in. I m not one to give negative reviews but this situation called for it.

I got there around 5:15 p.m. Quick service and good prices. The employee informed me I arrived at a good time because they stop taking cars at 6:00 p.m. (so they have time to finish the jobs and clean up).

Plan ahead for oil changes. Sunday morning at opening time there was a 2-3hr wait. The good part is that the tech said Tuesdays are their slowest days. So no oil change today. Looks like I'm coming back on Tuesday. Now I need to find some coffee!

If you're gonna have Walmart change your oil do yourself a favor and drive the extra miles to another location because this place will take forever and a day to get the job done (I actually prefer the the one on chaparral and the 101, they're very quick). I've had my oil changed here in more than one occasion and each time it took quite a long time. One time me and some other people who were having their car worked on was wondering why it was taking so long and come to find out some clown had all the mechanics take their break at the same time so no one's car was being worked on. In all honesty I really need to learn how to change my own oil to avoid situations like this in the future.

I would not recommend gong to this place. I had a nail in my tire and they quoted just under a three hour wait and if I didn't stay and wait I would lose my place in line. They were kind to add air to my tire but I could not stay because I had prescheduled obligations. I asked if I could call and check on my place in line and they said okay. However, they either didn't answer or put me on hold and never clicked back over for about 30 minutes. I came back in at about 2 hours and 15 minutes and they said I had to wait another 2 hours because I lost my place in line. Don't waste your time...just try discount tire.
