It s a scam. First time they did repair for super discounted prices. They even gave me $400 off if I paid in all cash. First red flag. Second time They tried to tell me my engine was done for needed a whole rebuild not knowing previous mechanic diagnosed diff simple reason I just can t afford his labor. I was adamant on just asking them to replace what I was asking based on other diagnosis before dumping a bunch of money on an engine rebuild. They agreed but When I go to pick up they charged me $1600 when agreed price was $980. Guy refused to give me my car unless I paid what was said on recipes left by Chris and said I would have to come back to work it out with him and get refunded the difference. Took 4 days of persistent calls to the office to get my money back. Seperate time I brought in for oil change but had my boyfriend go with me as I didn t trust but was desperate and lived close. They tried to get us to get brakes and rotors, we asked to see and knew it was recently changed again no need. They lie to get u to spend more but charge u oddly cheap, they are scamming people outta money and pretending like they give u deals. Super shady dishonest work. I noticed they have changed the name but it s same shop same people. Hope they get shut down my 3 times in waiting room I ve witnessed many angry people come in for refunds. I ve unfortunately had to be one of those people.

I took my Toyota Avalon there to get my fuel evaporative canister replaced since i was getting codes saying that failed. They replaced it and the very next day my engine light popped on for the same issue. Brought it back later to have them look at it and do an oil change. They did the oil change, didn t replace my sticker showing when it was done and they said it was a hose that was bad that they replaced for free. Then about a week later my engine light popped on with the same codes. Brought it back they did a warranty replacement on the canister, got me a new fuel cap and a new solenoid and they kept it for about 3 days testing it and right when i drive into the emissions testing area the engine light popped back on. In my history of owning a car i have never had so many failed repairs with a mechanic. I m now going to bring my car else where and have them check and make sure they did the work and if not I ll give them one chance to refund all the money for those repairs or I ll sue them.

I have read other reviews and feel compelled to finally write one myself. Apologies for length, but if you want straight scoop on this shop, it's worth the read. I am neither friend or relative and, in fact, there was a time when I was going to write a 0-1 star scathing review.My son bought a rebuilt '76 Ford Elite from Chris (the owner) over a year ago. It was my son's first own car. Chris treated him wonderfully, even offering my son both teaching time and discount if he ever needed to bring the car in for repair. As the vehicle was over 35 years old (though less than 50g miles!), there were some things that went wrong with it soon after my son brought the car home. Chris was fantastic about telling my son to bring it in and he'd repair it, most of the time at little or no cost, if it was something he had missed fixing prior to sale. With regard to my son's car, we would have given Top Line & Chris 5+ stars. I even stopped taking our family vehicles into our previous long-time mechanic and started servicing them with Top Line, which is not close to where we live.After a few services and couple of months later, I was told I needed a major repair on one of our family vehicles. Because I felt Chris had treated my son incredibly and had done some cost-effective minor repairs for me, I told him to go ahead with the major repair. Shortly thereafter, a second, even more major (unrelated) repair was necessary. Multiple problems occurred as a result of the second repair, creating great frustration. I demanded Top Line continue to address the problem until it was resolved. At one point, Chris said he had done everything he could and that maybe we should just part company. It should be noted that he continued to treat my son with courtesy and respect.I did not let the issue with my car go, even though I was angry and it would have been easier to just take the loss, bite the bullet, and go have my previous mechanic fix the problem. Eventually, Top Line's previous lead mechanic (who I am very sorry is no longer there) figured out the issue and was able to resolve it (which turned out NOT to be a Top Line diagnostic issue at all, but rather a manufacturer's mislabeling). Chris reached out to me (which he did not have to do), apologized for all my inconvenience and made the situation right. He provided compensatory service and really proved to me he was a "stand-up guy" with plenty of integrity. He still treats my son with respect and availability. I probably should give him a 5 for the way he resolved the issue, but I had to take one star for being in that situation in the first place.

I've been taking my 2 vehicles to Chris and his guys since they opened! I read the reviews that are saying these guys are crooks and I'm here to tell you those reviews could not be further from the truth. Chris has always been up front with me from the start telling me about any issues that my vehicles have. I trust Top Line Auto and the staff 100%. I'm not a sucker and in the beginning I would get second and third opinions about my issues, and Top Line has always came out on top. They have always gotten me rock bottom best pricing out there on parts. I've never driven away unhappy or upset about the service I have received. From changing light bulbs to the new transmission they installed, they will continue to keep working on my vehicles. Thanks Guys!

Stay away from this place they will steal your money. Brought my car in for knocking noise in engin was charged $680.00 when I got the car back still had noise. So brought it back in had the car two weeks said kia was going to replace engin got car back no change. He said the frame had a Crack that's why the knocking noise. Kia would not alow a third party to install an engin they warranted. And a cracked frame would not relate to an engin noise. He said he would refund the money. When I got there said he would only refund 300.00. It's been three weeks can't catch him at the shop been there 15 times. Won't return calls.still havent got refund. Chris is the owner he is a lier don't believe a word he saysService: General repairs & maintenance

I would give a zero if I could. They said they could fix the transmission on my Buick and we got it under warranty with them so we took it back after it started slipping again. At first they seem to be trying to work to fix the problem but the transmission would start leaking and slipping again soon after so I would take it back because of the warranty. They started holding my car weeks at a time so I had no way around as they would offer a loaner just to tell me it's unavailable or broken. I ended up having to buy another car as they were holding my car too long and I couldn't rely on other to get me work and doctor appointments! They would say the were working on it but it also came back in the same condition as before or worse. And one of the last time I brought it to them my licence plate got switched and I had an extra one in my front seat. They deny involvement but there was no other place my car was unattended and unlocked for someone to both replace my plate and place another inside the car! They are not trustworthy here at all. It might not be the owner behind my problem with them but they need to buckle down on their workers if this is what's happening at their shop! I would go somewhere and don't believe them when they say they can fix a transmission.

Top Line Auto has done a couple major repairs for me. They always explain what I need, discuss cost and keep me informed on all aspects of the work being done. They have also done my general maintenance. I drive an older car and it runs great thanks to TL. I came in to have my brakes checked based on the mileage on the car and I fully expected that I would need a brake job. They let me know that my brakes looked great and that there was no reason to replace my brakes at this point. I really appreciate the fact that they were honest with me instead of selling me new brakes that I did not need. I will definitely come back here for any mechanical needs.

I've been taking my car here since they opened and am always satisfied with the results. I trust Top Line Auto and their staff and find it relieving that there are honest mechanics so close to home. The guys always offer options if they find things wrong with your car and do not pressure you to use their services alone. From time to time it does take longer than quoted to get your car back from services, maybe 15-30 minutes extra but this is not a bother to me at all. Thanks Guys!

After being quoted several thousand dollars for a rebuilt transmission on a 2012 Tahoe, I left the mechanic feeling uneasy and drove, yes drove, to Top Line Auto per a friends referral. Skeptical when I arrived, the Mechanics had my vehicle in within 10 minutes and evaluated and diagnosed the problem. The owner was honest and quoted the parts to repair was $600.00 and was a special order. After taking a minute and Googling the parts and costs online, the price quoted was extremely fair saving me potentially thousands! My business is very referral driven and I know the importance of great quality and customer service. I will gladly recommend and refer Top Line Auto to my family and friends.

This place is horrible. I took my car there for a battery or alternator Issue. And they tried to tell me something was wrong with my steering column. They must ve thought I didn t no anything about cars and tried to charge 650 to replace somethings that wasn t broke. As I was leaving there shop another Customer told me she paid 900 and they scammed her and didn t do any work she needed done. Once told Then i was taking my car some where else the from desk personnel got a attitude. I later got my car for fixxed120 in labor at another place. Please don t waste your time.

Chris was unbelievable and dead on about my out of town situation, very impressed. He diagnosed my problem in minutes with a future plan and payment options and patched me up for a long safer desert ride!! i can t tell you how nice it is to actually receive good service.Lastly, my shade tree mechanic is the reason i was here and i m firing him when i get home!! i found a top line crew now!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning

I brought my vehicle in to have it looked at while visiting some relatives. The employees are friendly and easy to work with. I was given several options as to what needed to be done on my vehicle. I am very happy with the people that helped me and the mechanic(s) who stayed after 5 pm (on a Friday) to complete the job. They knew that I had business to attend to over the weekend and they let me know that they would be able to complete the job, so that I could make it back home safely.

First of all this place will put parts on your car that dose not need to be replaced and charge you for the repairs.he never fixed my car and then claimed to replace my head gasket which he never did.the mechanics there suck . Not sure if they know what they're doing they also don't operate by the law never take your car there. Today is 9/27/2017 just a friendly reminder to not take your car to this place because they're crooks. Just a friendly reminder and a small update.

My husband and I have been doing business with them for years. These guys are awesome and have always worked with us and given us the best deal. Chris is awesome, wouldn't go anywhere else unless I had to. We recommend people to take their cars here all the time!

I have been using Top Line for about 2 years now. I have always received great service. I had a situation with my check engine light that kept coming back on even after the repair was done and Chris told me to just bring it back in and they made sure the problem was rectified and at no additional cost. I really don't know how anyone could say they are rip offs because based on my experience they have been nothing but honest and fair.

One of the best shops i have ever found, VERY trusting and great service. I challenge anyone to try this shop. The awesome thing is if you take your car there and they show you the GREAT work they do, when your happy with your experience wright a review print it and they will give you a FREE oil change. I will never trust anyone to work on my car. Thank You Top Line Auto. All the negative people on here only wright bad reviews on EVERYTHING they post on BE AWARE. Top Line ROCKS.

NEVER GO HERE!!!! They will get over on you! The first time I went there I got my steering column fixed. As I don't know much about cars, I thought $300 was not too bad. Then I took my other car there because it wouldn't start. After leaving it there over night, they call me in the morning and tell me that my ECM caught on fire and that I need to replace it. They told me it would be almost $1000. I told them to go ahead and get started, then consulted a friend of mine. He said they are ripping me off. I called back 15 minutes later and cancelled the repair to which Chris told me that he already ordered the part from the dealership and can't return it. LIE!!!! I told him I can't afford it and hung up. He called me back about an hour later and told me that he will drop the price to $500. GIVE AWAY!!!! I told him I will get back to him and consulted my friend again. My friend called Chris and told him to cancel the repair and that he can return the part. I will send a tow truck to pick it up. Chris then tells me that I don't need one because he replaced the EMC already and all he is charging me is labor. What I am thinking is "how do you replace a part that you just ordered in less than 2 hours?" Logically, that does not make any sense. I pick it up and they charge me $80. My thought is this, there were some lose wires and they fixed them but tried to charge me for a part that they never ordered plus labor. To top it off, Chris calls me and tells me to never bring my car there again. That's cool with me. My friend referred me to his friend, another mechanic, who will be looking at it tomorrow for free. I got lucky but you may not if you go here. They thrive on women who don't know anything about cars.

Talk to Chris, Ron, and Paul. The owner is an awesome person who will make sure you are taken care of and your vehicle fixed. Everyone here is great. It s just all about communication. Chris is an Awesome person and shop owner who will help you if you let him get to know the situation. Cars are finicky. Vehicles are really complicated... I continue to put my trust in everyone here.

CROOKS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!I am not surprised this place has bad reviews! THERE IS A REASON WHY THE OVERALL SCORE IS 9! I wish I would have read this site before taking my vehicle to Chris and have him rip me off for thousands of dollars!! I want to warn people not to deal with this place. In my opinion, they are crooks and liars. They claimed to have fixed items they did not fix. I was skeptical so I questioned him about the repairs and he got extremely defensive. I left the auto shop not feeling too well at all about the situation. Sure enough, my vehicle still had the same issues! Chris did not want to deal with me once he had my money, he would not return my phone calls! I gave up after a few weeks (I plan on reporting him to the Attorney General's office). I ended up taking it to another shop where they told me my brakes were put back together wrong and the parts were not "new" parts! My A/C was still blowing warm, they replaced the filter for $25 and I had cold air! I learned two big lessons - always check the reviews before you buy anything and lesson to your gut feeling!

Chris and the rest of the team at Top Line have always gone out of their way to help me out; I have now had two major repairs on my Honda Civic at Top Line, and their quotes are easily half of what other shops quote. I will never talk my vehicle anywhere else; this is an especially great shop for women who want to be assured that they won't be taken advantage of financially. Thanks guys!!!

Chris and his receptionist Ron are scam artist, you take your car in for one things and they make up that other things are wrong with it, over charge you and only fix the minimal things to get you out of there with same problem a couple days later, Chris always comes out with a speech that he s from the Midwest and that he guarantee s work or your money back and to look at all the vehicles I m front of his business from so much work he has. He never stands behind his money back guarantee. If you notice in front of his business i think a friend of his just stores cars there in front to make it look busy you will see one set of cars in front parked one day and then they never go into garage, then the next day it s a whole new set of cars. Please don t take your car here unless you want to be ripped off. The attorney general should be knocking on his door pretty soon.

I don't normally write reviews, but with all the time dealing with this business I feel I would be doing a disservice to the public not to share my experience. Through multiple interaction on a warranty issue I was left concluding that this was one of the worst auto repair experiences I have had from not only the poor mechanical work but also the lack of customer service. This business seems to fix minor things, but will eventually ask to do big and costly repairs. When getting a second opinion on anything that Top Line Auto has suggested, I find others value me more as a repeat customer rather try an looking at me as a pay day.

I needed to take my dads car in to be serviced. My dad had gotten very sick while visiting me last winter. By chance we went to Top Line, they were extremely helpful and honestly had the best prices.. All of the guys seem very kind and know what they are talking about. The owner is very personal and trustworthy. Now I take all of my vehicles in to be serviced at Top Line.

about a month ago, i had taken my vehicle in to get a new axel. top line was amazing with being able to get it repaired in a short time frame and provided excellent service. my car runs great and i have them to thank for it. if you want great service and a fair price for it, then take your vehicle to top line auto. they will make sure your car gets the care it needs.

I send everyone I know here. I was super skeptical, but they have proven time and again to do great work on my cars and that of my family and friends. On a car that I no longer have I had the alternator changed, the breaks, oil changes. My sister just had her manifold and fuel pump changed out. They do good work.

After reading all the review I figured I would try it for myself. I have a 2002 dodge Dakota when I bought it it was a junker, I mean everything that could be wrong was wrong with it. I brought it to Chris at topline told them I was on a small budget and had to have quite a bit of work done. In one day they managed to save me more than what I thought I would have had to spend which was a god sent. As a customer I can say I will always bring my truck to them and recommend to my friends cause they do what they can to help people out and do a great job.

I gave $750 cash to Chris the owner and he's burning me keeping my money not getting me a car even threatened bodily harm to me, because I told him he never does what he says. He also called me names after threatening to blackmail me if I went to the better business bureau. This after he tried to charge me 3500.00 for a Volvo that the transmission needs to be replaced in. SHADY BUSINESS!!!
