These guys are awesome! They installed a transmission cooler on my Corvette. They also swapped in a rear differential with some shorter gears. My car was in and out of the shop quick and their prices were good. I will probably use them again for future projects. Highly recommended!

I take pride and take care of my '03 Corvette. I don't trust just anybody, yet I've found someone whom I trust in the people at Top Gear. The automotive work is quality, proficient and is finished on or before time and within the estimate.Sean, Shane and all the staff there have demonstrated their care and professionalism, which are appreciated. But, I have also found Top Gear to be willing to go the "second mile" and even beyond, to make sure that I am satisfied with the work.So, quality workmanship, coupled with "second mile" service and care result in the highest rating I can give. Top Gear has earned it, and I highly recommend their services. If you want quality work by someone whom you can trust, look no further. 5 Stars!

Always top notch service. Recommend Sean to everyone. This guy has a passion for what he does and it shows in his workmanship and honesty. For any of your performance needs Top gear is the place to go.Wouldn't let me post a second review so editing this one. Gto was in for an ls7 clutch due to throw out bearing going bad on my trip to Cali. Sean once again was awesome. Got it done quick even with working his full time job. Absolutely the best and only person I let work on my car when I either don't want to or can't do something.

Hey folks. This will be a bit of a longer review, so buckle up!To start with, I am in Afghanistan right now and have been here for the past several months. About 2 months ago, my wife emailed me, concerned about a weird squeak going on in my engine. I have a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado LT Crew Cab Short Bed with the 5.3L Flex Fuel LC9 AFM engine (125k miles).I am a self proclaimed motor-head, and always do my own vehicle repairs/ maintenance. Also, I am incredibly OCD about my vehicle maintenance. So, being in Afghanistan, and being several months from being home, I felt helpless. What made it worse is that my wife had already driven the truck 1000 miles away from home to stay with family while I was deployed.So, to recap, I'm on the other side of the world, months from being home, and my wife's daily driver is having some kind of engine issues that will have to be addressed before she makes the 1000 mile trek back home.On my down time, I scoured the internet for answers. After several weeks, I decided that the engine must be having issues with the AFM valvetrain. The Gen III GM engines with AFM are notorious for having these issues. Therefore, I decided that I needed to be rid of the AFM system, which included a cam/lifter swap. Now, the next set of research was to find a reputable, inexpensive mechanic in AZ (where my wife was) who was familiar with this kind of work and could do it in short-order so my wife wasn't without a vehicle for too long.After some reading, Top Gear Motorsports in Mesa AZ kept coming up as a common place to have this work done. Several SilveradoSierra forum members put TGMS at the top of the list for work on LS motors, and all the reviews I read were stellar!First chance I got, I called Sean and explained my situation. He was able to make a parts list, and an estimated cost for the labor in no time. He was also able to tailor everything to fit the budget my wife and I discussed. Throughout the entire process Sean and his wife were great. Being a motor head and having a ton of questions, Sean was very patient with my OCD, and helped me understand how everything was going to work from start to finish. He was also very flexible with some changes that were made before the work had started. Also, being that my wife was in need of transportation, he was able to get all the work done and have the truck dyno tuned within a reasonably short period of time.Bottom line: If you own a vehicle with an LS motor and you're looking for repairs, performance upgrades, or diagnosis, this place is for you!!!!!On a side note, a week prior to working with Sean, a different unnamed shop charged my wife $400 for a spark plug swap, diagnosing the engine squeak as bad spark plugs. Big surprise, the squeak didn't go away after the plug swap and I felt like I had been robbed. Anyone who's had work done on their car by someone sketchy knows this gut-wrenching feeling after handing their hard-earned money over and not having the results they were hoping for. This was ABSOLUTELY the opposite of how I felt after working with Sean and TGMS. I am due to be home from deployment in a few weeks, and I am psyched to have a reliable vehicle that I don't have to spend my leave time fixing up once I get home. I'm also extremely confident that the repairs will outlast my ownership of the truck.Thank you Sean and Top Gear Motorsports!!! This has got to be the best repair experience I've ever had!

Sean and his team did a cam swap and headers for my LS1. Turned out fantastic and got it done in a reasonable amount time. I will be a returning customer and definitely recommend this shop.

I have been talking with the sales team for a little over a week to do some engine work on my car and they couldn't be more helpful!! I definetly plan to have them do the work! They had the best quote and have been extremely polite and helpful with finding the correct parts at the best prices.

I do not recommend....I havnt even recieve my order or tracking number after 2weeks ...tried calling them just goez to voice mail.....but they took my $$ fast ... I would shop somewhere else
