These guys are fantastic. I was driving down Dobson rd for work when my car started to emit a burning smell and suddenly seized up and left me a rolling duck. I pulled into the nearest plaza and suspected a alternator failure. It was absolute luck that I rolled into this plaza where Sunbelt Auto was. I asked them for assistance and they were extremely helpful. I left my vehicle to be inspected by them and they confirmed it was indeed an alternator failure. They informed me of 3 different options for replacement at different price points. I made my decision where they then told me the cost for labor which was incredibly fair. I initially broke down around 9:30am and they had my vehicle repaired and back on the road by 12:30pm. I am extremely grateful for the speedy friendly service and good honest work. They do great work here and are transparent with their costs and even offer labor warranty. I am coming here for now on with any future auto care needs. Thanks guys!

I have been using this shop for years and they are honest, professional and fair. They just fixed my car and tuned it up and it feels like new! Definitely recommend them to friends and family and everyone!! They take great care of your car.

Super quick, affordable, trustworthy and amazing service. I couldn t renew my registration because of a failed emissions test. Every shop I called couldn t see me for several days. Chaddie got me in same day! I dropped my car off around 2 or 3pm and it was ready for pick up by noon the next day. Even when I was in the shop it was in and out, I can tell he values my time as a customer and I totally appreciate that. I never felt he was trying to upsell me or talk me into anything. I was expecting to pay way more than what he charged me, so that s an added bonus. It s great to have a mechanic that you trust. I m really bad at taking care of my car so I m sure I ll be back soon thanks Sun belt auto!PS - I successfully passed my emissions test

Great price in the area for a a/c recharge for r-134a freon. The guy also went out his way to make sure everything was working how it should for free after too!

This mechanic used to be our go to guy until he started hiring shady helpers. My son is out 500 plus the cost of his own part which was modified by the "helper" in charge at the time with 0 recourse! The owner and his shady helper took advantage of a hard working 18 year old, drilling holes in a part THEY recommended for him to buy, just to be told the part was wrong and he needed a new one!!! Like it's NO big deal to modify parts so they can't be returned just to go and purchase a new one for over 150 dollars!!!! In addition to charging him 500 which was the quote of the TOTAL repair including freon. The repair was never done nor was any freon added!! How the owner can justify charging 500 for NO repair I'm not sure how morally he's OK with that, but times must be bad to rip off customers who used to come here for all repairs. Shameful to take from a young adult just starting out in life. Hire better qualified trained staff.

I drove home with oil smells inside the car. I opened the hood and saw that they forgot the motor cap off and oil spilled over the engine, hood, alternator, belt, exhaust, wires, firewall, etc. The motor could ve got damaged or even worst the car could ve caught on fire. Plus they over charged me $10 for 0.6 quart ($85). The guy is nice but overpriced and lack of professional service. Would never return to this shop.

I have been extremely happy with Sunbelt, the service is awesome, I have never been surprised by a bill and the honesty and friendliness of the mechanic here at sunbelt means I would recommended them even if you are not local.My family and I have been depending on my used car so much more recently and times have been rough, without a good mechanic who is able to go above and beyond I dont know how I would have gotten through it.From the first visit he has fostered the sort of relationship that you would only expect from a mechanic in your family, helping keep pricing within my budget and doing that little bit extra of showing me what's going on from what is worn down and what actually needs fixing. Genuinely the best mechanic I've had.

Went for an oil change over the weekend and it was such a good experience. They were very fast and super friendly. They didn't try to sell me anything extra either. This is my go to place from now on for my car needs and I will be recommending it to people. Thank you for the great service!

I used these guys for years and they used to be great. I got my rotors and brakes replaced by them. 3 months later i went in for a oil change and the guy with the milky eye told me that my brake pads and rotors were bad. I was very suspicious so I checked them myself I removed my tire and all and checked them myself. They were still were basically brand new. I do not trust these guys anymore. Recently my GF came in for a oil change and told her that her brake pads and rotors were bad. She went ahead and paid them and got her rotors and brake pads replaced. They charged her over $450 on a small car that could have been done for under $200. These guys have gotten scummy they used to decent, actually cared and used to tell you the part prices and cost of labor.Just be careful if they tell you that you need your brakes replaced. They are very predatory and will bring you out and tell you to look and feel them. Stopped by on a sunday when my ac compressor was failing me. I was scheduled to leave on a road trip the next morning and they came through for me without hesitation. I was in and out in 45mins with the coldest AC ive had in years. I Highly recommend these guys

Came for a battery change for my 2016 dodge journey which is a real pain to change since you have to take the tire off just to get to the battery. They checked it and changed it for a very reasonable price. I recommend them. Friendly and professional staff.

May I please point out that Every Local Guide reviewing this mechanic has given a positive review. I don't know about the other guides, but for me I'm cursed with saying things the exact way I see them, whether my opinion is favorable or not.Just took my 2014 Ram here. I'd let needing the brakes & rotors needing to be done go far too long as I currently work nights & have no options for when I'm awake. I had extreme metal grinding when braking. However, they got the job completed the same day I called & kept my truck on the road, all within the hours I needed to sleep.I drive 50 miles to work every evening. My drive to work yesterday evening was extremely comfortable. With Rams 2012 & newer it becomes a bit obvious when things are done right or not... This work was quality.I'm EXTREMELY picky where I take my truck as it's my lively hood. I would recommend this place. They were $398 dollars below my cheapest estimate I had prior. I've been looking for about 2 weeks before coming here. And again, quality is what I got

What a great shop! They are extremely FAST, FRIENDLY, Professional and AFFORDABLE! I would check with them first. Other shops wasted our time and gave us quotes that were unreasonable along with diagnosis that were faulty. Forget about the National chain stores. Support local business while doing yourself a favor. Go see them for any of your auto repair needs. They are very honest and professional. As I waited for them to fix my vehicle, I met a procession of loyal customers from the immediate area that had came back because of their satisfaction with recent services. I found that the reputation of this shop had preceded itself. Just what I was looking for and in need of at the time. Don't forget to tip!!!

The work was done incredibly fast, they were very transparent, and made things very easy to understand. Absolutely wonderful! As a woman, I was worried about going somewhere and being taken advantage of. I came in with my check engine light blinking after a friend had already replaced the part based on the code given at auto zone. Apparently, just the diagnostic code needed to be reset. Shadi did just that for no charge. I was overdue for an oil change so he performed that in 10 minutes or so! I will be back and recommend this shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

This place is genuinely one of the most honest shops you will find in all of Phoenix by far. The staff is friendly and wonderful. They charge honestly and fair prices and physically show you what s broken before fixing anything. The shop is legit. Ownership and service is top tier. I know how to work on cars myself, but sometimes I get lazy. This was one of those times, and I think going forward, I ll bring it here instead of doing it on my own. Work was very timely and professional. I ll forever come here for my automotive needs now.

This shop is the only place I will let work on my vehicle. I try to do most repairs/services myself to save a buck, but Chadi is so affordable, fast, and reliable that I come here when something proves too big for me or the heat discourages me too much. He's knowledgeable and does a very thorough job both in repair and in explaining issues or failures etc. He went above and beyond to take care of me, and even though his business was flooded with people coming in for oil changes, repairs, etc. he still managed to complete all of my work in about an hour, that's an ac charge, both front and rear rotors and brakes replaced. But please be understanding if you have a bigger job or he has a lot of customers coming in- he will take the best possible care for you. Also please understand labor charges- some people get mad if a job is charged for so and so many hours, but it takes him less. These labor hours are industry standard, and he should not be punished monetarily for completing work faster than the average labor time allotted. His work is thorough, not slip shod, so no worries on him cutting corners. He does a repair- he does it Right. He is Very fair on his prices. I have made a thorough comparison. Other shops would not only over charge you, but potentially provide less quality/knowledgeable work. The people coming in for his help was a constant flow and most were repeat customers like me. This, to me, speaks volumes. We come back for a reason. We trust him, and we trust his work.Thank you so much for all that you do. I'm so glad you're in the business. I was expecting to pay hundreds of dollars to have my air fixed but that was not the case at all!!! And he had my truck fixed w/in 15 min!! I m so happy I called them. Autozone wouldn t install a 12v battery in any Hybrid vehicle. On a Sunday I bought my battery from Autozone and drove to this location for them to install it (needed a computer hooked up to it to install battery) Thank goodness my car started this morning because last night AAA said it unlikely it d start up again, and apparently they have certain models of Hybrids they don t even jump. This shop helped me last minute. I spent $280 total for the Autozone battery (3yr warranty) and the fee this place charged for install. They let me know for the future when I can plan ahead for replacement they usually charge ~$200 for a battery plus install and it includes a lifetime warranty? So next time I replace my battery I ll check back with these guys. Last minute walk in and it was done in 10 minutes. Very nice guy, thankyou guys!Service: Battery

I had my entire car checked over for a cross country move and they were fantastic! Great customer service even let us see what was wrong with the oil filter. The service was quick too and checked every inch of my car. Thank you!!! (Super sad we can t take him with us to Oregon. These guys are awesome! My car died on a Sunday afternoon as I was waiting to get on the 60 at Dobson, did a quick Google search and was pleased to find this place open, only 2min from my location with positive reviews and I now I see why! Diagnosed a popped off hose and had me safetly back on the road within the hour NO CHARGE! Very nice, professional and clean. Glad to find honest service, definitely coming back for routine maintenance Thanks again guys!!

Fast and friendly!! Walked in to get my brakes pads/rotors replaced and an oil change. They called to get the parts over right away and got the work done quickly. Will definitely be returning!
