Skip this shop if you value your money, time and sanity. This guy is the absolute worst! He is a liar, cheat and just an overall horrible human being. I checked the Google reviews several months ago before this happened and was satisfied by what I saw, but then after this all happened I checked yelp and there are many reviews where this guy did the same thing to multiple people where he did shoddy work or didn t do the work at all and then just won t answer the phone when the people try to get a hold of him.My car was not running, so I went to his shop and he agreed to tow it. Street Auto had the car for about 2 weeks. He called me and told me the various things wrong with the car and I authorized him to fix what he thought was wrong. The he calls and says the car is fixed. I asked a family member to pick the car up and drive it home. It barely ran and was by no means fixed. I texted him the next day and told him it was barely running and not fixed or even drivable, he said he was sorry to hear that and to bring the car back in. I called him on Monday and he was a rude jerk and basically took no accountability for lying to me and saying the car was fixed. He told me I could pay to have it towed back in and he would look at it. Now why would I want to give this cheat more of my $? After reading reviews, it seems that this is the standard way he conducts business. If it s not an easy fix, he lies, has the customer pick up the car and then refuses to take their calls. I ended up having to have it towed to another shop and pay more $ to get it fixed. Not only did he not fix the car, but the car was scratched, dirty and over a � of tank of gas was gone from the car when it was returned to us. Steer clear!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Dan is THE MAN!! There really should be more then a 5 star rating. This automotive shop is by far the best place I ve ever taken my vehicles! I ve been a client for about 6 years now I ve had multiple cars for him to work on. We have a big family so dependable and reliable and friendly is what he and his business are all about!! ALWAYS honest ALWAYS fair priced will always give it to you straight; diagnosis is always on point! I ve spent hours sitting in the shop sometimes while waiting for my vehicle to be worked on and finished and every time it s so comfy and made to feel right at home I will never take my autos ANYWHERE else!!! Thanks a million again Dan for keeping me and my family safe on the road!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND TOO MY WORST ENEMY!!! Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Brought the car in to be diagnosed for an issue I had been having for them to tell me it is a fuel pump. Car had been running rough and would die regularly. They take 2 weeks to replace the fuel pump. Too then tell me that it is an ECU. I wait another two weeks for them to do that while they put in other miscellaneous parts aswell that they claimed were all bad. They called me and said the car was ready but was not running the best still but was good enough to drive. I have a family member pick the car and make the short drive home while I was working. Just to come home and have the car barely start. It was still having the exact same issues it was having before and was in the exact same shape with 2000$ put into it. They then expect me to pay for the tow fee back to the shop and pay them to fix another part that they claim is the issue now. No thanks! I ll keep my money and take it too a better educated mechanic and honest shop. Don t bring you car here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Overall excellent. Had new ceramic disc brakes installed on all 4 tires. Easy to make an appointment, great communications with Dan, who is also very professional and friendly. Dan also did a complete inspection, found 3 loose lug nuts, fixed that, and made recommendations for future required maintenance at no charge. The billing was fair, and I highly recommend Street AutomotiveService: Brakes

Guy had my car for days and charged $1500. Never fixed the problem. Took it to another shop(Revive Auto). They had it one day. Fixed it. Cost $718The problem was the intermediate "tank" fuel-pump low pressure. This guy said he checked it, and nothing was wrong with it.He also installed the catalytic converter he put in in such a way that he had to cut a support beam on the frame off my car. That stops my cars body from flexing, and it has to be fixed now which is just spectacular.Strongly discourage anyone from ever using this mechanic.

Dan put catalytic converters on my truck. He came in on his day off and worked til he had it fixed so I could get tags. Not many would do that. He will be my mechanic as long as I drive.

There is no one else that I go to in taking care of my car. I appreciate him for trying keep my old car running as long as possible. Now I have a newer car that I would only go to him . My family went to them to get work done on their vehicles because I m busy with other vehicles I work on. I who am a master tech at Toyota for 5 years has just recently just worked in my sisters highlander and looked over the vehicle they had just worked on (family said it still wasn t running right). They mentioned it needed a transmission flush when it did not I had just done one not long ago (8,000 miles ago) and they don t need another flush for the range of 90,000 miles to about 120,000. They stated it needed spark plugs but now the car has a CEL for multiple misfires. My sister owns a mustang who recently got serviced the car needed a few things but wasn t done correctly either one being an oil pan reseal due to a leak and there is oil everywhere still, I can t even tell if they even changed it and they didn t even clean off After doing it IF they even did the oil pan gasket. My mother s friend who works with her car doesn t run (he husband recently passed away and funds are short for her). They looked at the car and wasn t able to diagnose the issue and fix it. She lives in the neighborhood behind the shop and they charged her to doing nothing to the vehicle and she had to PUSH The car back home!!!! This place will recommend things you do not need and will not ensure the issues are resolved. They say oh bring it back we will fix it and make it right there is a reason they don t come back. I already had a favorite auto repair shop, but moving to the east valley from the west I had to give it up. When my truck had problems my old shop told me what it would take and the cost to repair and I just couldn't justify the drive all the way across town to have it fixed. My wife suggested her favorite shop Street Automotive. I called and they quoted me the about the same price as my trusted shop to do the repairs. The repairs were done quickly and my truck is now back in shape. My family has been going to Street Automotive for nearly 10 years at this point and have always had excellent service. Dan and his crew are top notch with how they will work on your vehicle and have always been fair with pricing. I've run into a few vehicle problems where Dan has gone above and beyond to take care of the issue and make sure it was done right. Even if you have a small thing with your vehicle just take it in to check them out and I have no doubt that you will be happy with the outcome.

We have been going to Dan at Street Automotive for years. The service has always been excellent and the prices are fair! His shop is open Monday through Thursday. We first started going to Dan after receiving a referral from a local deputy. We had issues with our air conditioning and when we took it to Dan he did a free inspection and thankfully it turned out to be a really inexpensive repair. We take all our cars to him for service and repair including our new Acura and our old 1998 Jeep. Honesty can sometimes be hard to come by in the automotive repair industry and Dan has earned our trust. I highly recommend taking you car to Dan.

Had warranty work for a broken a/c compressor. Dan, the owner, told us to have it towed in and he called us the same day. He explained what was needed, what the warranty company was willing to pay and worked with us on the balance. He was upfront and professional. I was in need of a second opinion on a water pump issue. A previous Auto Repair establishment said my water pump was leaking, cost $3200.00My wife's Co-worker recommended Street Automotive and said ask for Dan. I called Dan and set up an appointment. Dan performed a full vehicle inspection and determined the water pump was fine other than it did get a little warm but nothing to worry about. Dan did an oil change on my vehicle and recommended some repairs but nothing of importance at the time. As the years have past Dan has performed the recommended repairs at a low cost and will schedule me in a timely manner. Dan explains what the repairs entail before he performs the repairs and explains what he did once the repairs are completed. I bring all my vehicle issues and oil changes to Street Automotive because Dan is Fair, Honest, Prompt and goes the extra mile to ensure your vehicle is in excellent working condition!

I ve been going to this shop for about 4 years! I ll never forget the first day I met Dan and he was so brutally honest with me about my Toyota s transmission whereas other mechanics I feel had ripped me off by coming up with reasons on why the car was running the way it was. I paid over $800 just to find out it was the transmission going out the whole time! I brought him my second car a Honda Accord.. both cars I got off Craigslist that also turned out to be a lemon. Dan then got me into a low mileage Honda Civic which I have had the past few years and has been the best car I ve ever had! Any issues that I had with the car in the beginning Dan had gone above and beyond for me! His wife was always a pleasure to talk with while waiting in the shop while she was working there. I m so blessed to have found Street Automotive and to say that I have an official mechanic I go to when I talk to my peers about vehicles. Dan s the man!

Dan and his team at Street Automotive are consummate professionals. They have been maintaining my personal vehicles and company vehicles for many years. My first experience with Dan saved me hundreds of dollars on an air conditioning repair in my work van, and since then I have had his shop handle all my automotive needs; Brake jobs, oil changes, a new engine installed, air conditioning, general service to pass emissions, and more i can't even recall... Dan is my go-to guy. If you are looking for affordable, on point service, Go see the team at Street Automotive.

My son introduced me to Dan at Street Automotive and I have never been more satisfied! Before becoming a believer in Street Automotive, I researched and found others who share my same beliefs and pricing is at and, often times, lower than the market. Dan has always advised me on the best solution for all repairs on my 16 year old van. As soon as I call, Dan makes sure time is available and repairs are completed as promised and on time with nothing less than thr highest quality workmanship! They found out what was wrong with our car when other mechanics couldn't when it came to our car having starting issues. They also checked the oil and looked at the transmission fluid to let us know that who ever did the oil change didn't flush it and that a different mechanic that we paid to do a transmission flush didn't provide new fluid since there was no leak and he filled up that fluid as well. He was able to squeeze us in when we were going through a family emergency. I will be coming back for sure! Thank you for such excellent and affordable service!Service: Battery

Integrity is the first word that come in my mind about street Automotive ! I moved to Mesa last year and about the same time i had a transmission problem. I called them and Daniel took care of my problem in no time. I really thought that it would cost me a transmission but the problem was a sensor. So Daniel change it and since then every time i need any service for my car i go see Street Automotive. Dan is the MAN! He took in my 95 Ford Ranger and in less then 2 weeks I got it back and it has never ran as good as it does now. They are awesome, He brought me in and show me what was wrong with it and what they were going to do to fix. I had 2 blown head gaskets, warped head and a few other small things. They took in my truck and fixed what needed to be done and even more. Threw in a belt, new fluids... the whole package! Not to mention the price was awesome, being a full time college student I was worried this was going to really break my bank but YOU CAN NOT BEAT THEIR PRICES. (trust me, I looked)I will defiantly be returning here for any car problem I have in the future.100/10. Thank you guys!~Kyle Long

Dan as always been fair with me over the last 5 years. multiple vehicles in and they're always good at explaining and breaking down the repairs that need to be done in order of importance and necessity for the vehicle to drive well. Never feel like I'm being price gouged! I recommend to people that I know the time!

I recently took my car in for a yellow warning light. Dan told me the transmission sounded odd. I assumed that was why the light was on, although I hadn't noticed anything different in the transmission after the light came on. I paid $335.00 to have fluid changed and new filter. I went to get in car and noticed the yellow light still on and told him. He supposedly went back to ask mechanic to turn light off came back and said mechanic couldn't turn off light. I started home concerned about light, it came to me why, because the problem was not addressed. Why he would not mention this to me ? My light is still on and I'm out $335. He also was wanting to sell me a 2006 Mazda MPV for $3000.00 that he had previously sold to another woman. The van was brought back because of transmission problems (see Reviews). needless to say he lost a good customer.

We have had nothing but great experiences at Street Automotive! We had our car towed late last night to them and they started on it first thing in the morning. They had it done by the end of the day which was awesome too. Great work done at an honest fair price!!

Love this shop! Honest and good work. The owner Dan is the best, we have been coming here since 2007 and they never disappoint. If I need any work done to my car, I make a longer drive to bring it here.

We a pleasure to come see Dan! Even when it's not, it is. I always feel as though he is being honest and doing everything he can to keep me safe on the road without trying to sell me things I don't need. Family owned and reasonably priced. Went to Dan for years before moving to TX and then felt lost without having a trustworthy mechanic around. I've actually called Dan from TX to talk to him about a car issue because he knew my car well and was willing to advise over the phone. Plan on taking my husband's car into Street Automotive to have them looks things over while we're in AZ on vacation.

These guys are great. My Jeep had an issue the dealer couldn t fix due to a nationwide backorder. Dan got the issue fixed, in a better way, for less money. Highly recommended if you have a Jeep JK with the 3.6 and the infamous calendar head knocking issue, he can fix it! Plus I feel more power in the low end which is great for off-road.

Street Automotive always gets the job done and always take care of you even when you call the last minute. Sue and Dan are very personable and very caring when it comes to taking care of your car needs. Great place to bring your car if you want the job done right.
