I ve been in the Valley for almost 5 years, and I finally found my go-to for auto service & repair. The facilities are spotless and well-organized (IYKYK). The people are experienced and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and estimates are solid. Their work and results are of the highest quality. But what I m most impressed with are their ethics. No need too bore you with the details, but Sandy & Sons acted on their own volition - without any prompting - to provide fair and honest service. I ll never take my car anywhere else. Rock stars.

I have been going to Sandy and Sons for 12 years and today they showed me why I will keep going back! I had a radiator replaced on Tuesday and by Wednesday the thermostat was coding. It was decided to replace it today and the cost was significantly less than I was originally quoted. One of their team members, Brian, said he spoke to the owner, Sandy, and they agreed to help with the cost. It s this kind of customer appreciation that goes a long way with the customer. I will continue to give my business to them and encourage others to do the same who may be looking for an honest mechanic shop. Gunner, Brian and Joey are top notch and now included in that is the owner Sandy, who I hope to meet one day. 5 stars!!

Exceptional shop - It s refreshing to have work done on your vehicle all knowing they could really upsell you But Sandy and Sons simply do what needs to be done - and I thought outfits like this were a thing of the past.

I've been going to Sandy & Sons for years since my last mechanic passed away. I learned a long time ago to develop a relationship with our mechanic. Sandy & Sons understands who our family is and how we drive our vehicles. And that is important. My truck needs to last another 100,000 miles and maybe I need to get the better quality part. My daughters beater is slated to make it another year and maybe the lowest priced part is the right way to go. They know this and help us make the best value decisions for each vehicle. My truck has 254,000 miles on it and drives like it did the day it drove off the showroom floor in part to good decisions regarding maintenance. Their technicians are well trained and that training is continuous. Their shop labor prices are in line with what a quality mechanic is worth in the market. This is a shop that you can develop a relationship with. I highly recommend Sandy & Sons.

We travel the country in our Travel Trailer & pull it with our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. While in Mesa we asked some of our different Facebook groups about recommendations in Mesa for a reliable & honest service station. We received several recommendations for Sandy & Son. We decided to give them a try, and we were SO VERY impressed. From making the appointment, to dropping it off and then picking it up, everyone was so friendly. Brian checked us in and was very attentive and also took notes about our concerns. A couple of hours later he called and explained everything they had done and that the vehicle was ready to pick up. Over all, I wish there was a Sandy & Sons in every city we stop in. Thank you Brian & Sandy and Sons!!! You guys ROCK!! Theresa

These guys are the best! They re straight up, honest, and aren t out to get your money. We ve had several things done here and every time they offer honesty and great service. I ll go to them every time for whatever we need because they know how to treat people right. For example: my hubbys car needed a ton of work done and they told him what needed done and that it would cost a lot but also said they wouldn t fix it if they were us and just drive it as is. It would have cost more to fix than it was worth. They re amazing!

I didn't realize how shady and expensive my last mechanic was until I started coming to Sandy and Sons. They are quick, friendly and charge a good price. I highly recommend them.(I don't recommend all their political stuff on the wall of the office, but I look the other way in the name of good service and good prices.)

Again, another incident that was beyond my shade tree mechanic ability. I was pretty sure it was the same problem with my wife s Jeep that we had 3 years ago but on a different cylinder. Neither of us can figure out how the on board computer mis-identified the cylinder number but they figured it out. It is possible that a second coil failed right after the first. We ll never know. It was fixed and they were gentlemen about a return visit. That Jeep has 171,000 miles on it and with their help it will continue on for a while.I get reasonable estimates, book estimates I think, at the going competitive shop rate. If they are good, and they are, they can make a little bit more. If it takes them a little longer I still get the estimated cost. Remember these guys keep up with the factory training and that has a cost. Nobody is paying them directly for the hours they spend in training. But we get the advantage of that training. And as always, they are considerate of the vehicle and it s future. At 195,000 I wanted to get another 100,000 miles out of my 4 wheel drive pickup. I had just rebuilt the transmission at Tri-City Transmission with their evaluation that this truck had a lot of life left in it. It was tight, no leaks and no major problems. At 300,000 I m looking for another 100,000 miles and these guys make that possible. My eldest beater cruiser, it is treated commensurate with its place in life. And they know that and have recommendations based on our expectations of that cars expected lifespan.Like my mechanic, your mechanic should know your name when you come in. They have your vehicles records and know not only you, but your vehicle. Or in my case, all of my family s vehicles. And that s the way it should be.

I'm livid with this place. I was referred by a friend. My car was making noise when turning and wanted it checked out. In addition I wanted Brakes, shocks struts and motor mount checked and oil changed. After I drop off my car, I get a call saying that the shocks are leaking a little and no big deal other than that my car was ready. I pick up my car and receipt. Dumb-ass me didn't read the receipt as I was in a rush. I was charged 60 bucks to tell me my brakes were fine. The motor mounts were never checked. My oil wasn't changed. They said my fender was rubbing my wheel making the original sound when turning, Who knows. The receipt said to replace the shocks that were leaking. I came to this place expecting to replace the shocks. Not only didn't they do it, they tell me to do it in the near future. When I picked up my car I thought 60 bucks was steep for shifting my fender, but at least my oil was changed. NOT. Waste of a day. This place comes across as incompetent.

Best auto shop I have ever used. Quality, experts and honest. This shop never goes through a list of items that need to be fixed to up sell you. I moved to Oregon but I would almost drive the 26 hours to take my cars there. I can't find a good shop here and that reminded me to write this review.

I would always recommend taking your car to Sandy and Son s. They take the time to explain exactly what s wrong with your vehicle and how they are going to fix it for you. Their prices are reasonable and they try to get you out as soon as possible. They have helped me for the last 15 years I am lucky to have them in the valley.

YIKES! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!My wife took our vehicle there to have it looked at and they told my wife that we need to pay 125 dollars for the inspection. WHAT A SCAM! I have never been charged more than 40 dollars and most of the time mechanics will do it for free. Take your car elsewere this place sucks. Thanks for trying to take advantage of my wife and our hard earned money.

Great service with great people. They always take the time to answer questions, never take advantage and do the little things that confirm my confidence in their knowledge and trust in their integrity. If you are looking for a company to service your vehicle or diagnose problems this is where you need to go.

Sandy & Sons became our "go-to" place many years ago when we lived up the street. We haven't lived in that neighborhood of Mesa for almost 20 years, but they are still our "go-to." Consistently friendly, honest, and fair pricing. Fast, too! What more can you ask for?

After getting quotes from three different locations I called this shop back to see if they could match the price of another shop just down the street from them. Upon asking Joey (the employee or possible owner I spoke with) if he was willing to match the price he got angry and yelled back, "I don't price match! If you found another shop cheaper take it to them! I don't match! I don't come down!" When I tried to apologize and explain to Joey that I wasn't meaning to offend with my question he just yelled, "Take it to them!" And hung up. I was honestly shocked since I asked a question that is routinely asked to auto repair shops and is a normal question to ask when spending $600 to $1000. Joey was extremely rude for no reason and because of it I would never take a vehicle to be worked on at this shop.
