I'm very happy with the services from Parrott. I have used them for over 5 years on all my vehicles' repair. Their diagnosis have been right on and I am satisfied with their quality of work. I trust Ray, the shop owner.

A kind & honest shop with a heart, that is sure not something you find just anywhere. I came to have an estimate done and both Ray and Jonathan took their time to educate and explain their findings to a girl like me! That meant so much, because as women we are seen as a sucker for a mechanic...but not here. I highly recommend supporting this local shop... I also loved the inspiring office art.

This is the best example of a successful small business. Ray, the owner, runs an honest shop and brings a broad range of knowledge and experience. I've used Parrott for more than two years after my brother recommended the shop. Ray has kept my nine year old Ford in good shape, including recently doing a major repair. His pricing is very fair and he truly cares about doing right by his customers. I can't make enough positive comments about this shop.

They worked on my lifted ford 150 fix the A/C unit, luckily I didn t have to buy a new A/C air system. They change the oil on my Chevy Malibu fast, honest, good hard working people. Very smart about cars

I Brought my vehicle in for service and this Truck was parked unattended in the middle of one way street, so I patiently waited for several minutes and then got out to ask mechanic in shop if he knew who parked in the middle of the road and said I did and I own this shop it was a strip mall of other shops. He Ray the OWNER refused to move and cussed at me. Worst service ever please see BBB on this rundown business.

My personal experience is that auto maintenance is an industry where females are often mislead. Ray has worked on my father's Ford F-150 Lariat a couple times, and he has provided excellent customer service. He takes the time to explain the diagnostics in detail. His rates are very reasonable. My family will only trust him to service our vehicles.

First, Ray Parrott is such a nice guy i just can't help writing a nice review for him. I met him a couple years ago and he always answers his businesses phone line and is always willing to help me with my car questions and troubles. Several times I have brought my car in and he has serviced it without charging me.Second, he appears to me a very good mechanic. I don't know much about cars, but he has saved me literally thousands of dollars (compared to the quote Discount Tires gave me) on my car by finding used parts and fixing it up quick. Ray always talks to me about the practical reasonable fixes my car needs. Not anything under the sun that can be fixed that I have heard from other mechanics.Definitely go to Parrott Discount Auto

Was recommended here by a retired mobile mechanic. Was not disappointed. Fair & honest prices. Ray got my car up and running perfectly and its been running smooth ever since. I had been having problems with my car for a year, but now needed them fixed to pass emissions. He understood all of my concerns clearly and what i had been dealing with other mechanics/dealerships.Trustworthy, best mechanic in town.If i could rate 11/10 i would.

Had a great experience with Ray at Parrott Discount Auto Repair. I went in expecting to have to pay an arm and a let for brake pads and a host of other issues associated with my used car. He gave my vehicle a thorough inspection and presented me a list of what is wrong with the car, and told me how urgent each one was. Turned out I only had a address a couple issues, and the rest were not actually a big deal at all. As a guy who knows nothing about cars, it was refreshing to feel like a mechanic was being honest with me, and treating me with respect. I would recommend Ray to anyone.

Ray and Del are 2 of the most honest, hardworking guys in the biz. Over the last 20 years, I've somehow collected 10 cars, and sometging always needs work, so I've seen my fair share of techs here in the valley. If you want someone you could trust like your own family, working on their own cars, then you take it to Ray and Del at Parrot Auto. I was recommended to go this mechanic by a friend after Big O tires quoted me $1700 for basically a damaged strut. So I took my car to Ray to see if he could do any better. He fixed up my car for a little over $500. I really couldn't be any happier! (Except if my car never was damaged in the first place)Ray Parrott seems like a good and honest guy. Out of gratitude I decided to write a review which is something I don't normally do.

After consulting 2 other shops specialized in Toyota, i decided to try parrotts. Ray is a nice and friendly guy who paid attention to details that were overlooked by others, which resulted in much cheaper fix, than what recommended other owners after glancing at truck and throwing $$$ numbers around.Also Ray ended up cheaper than his initial quote by about $50, which was already hundreds less than elsewhere. He also took care of my tires, which he doesnt typically do.Overall very pleased with this shop. I'm scheduled to go back next week to rejuvenate my 4runner (for which Ray has a real passion!)

Parrott discount auto repair was there when I needed them I had A repair that I need it done right away, and Ray and his team were right there for me. Fair price and excellent service. I could not be happier. Ray quickly diagnosed my "check engine" light issue, the necessary repairs were done in a few hours, and when the final cost came in under the estimate, Ray honored the lower of the two prices. This is not my first pleasant experience here. Good and honest service is the rule at Parrott Auto.

Parrott's has been servicing and repairing my cars for about 10 years. This last time I needed a new AC installed in my tribute. The work was done right, charges were fair and honest and as per the estimate, and was done on time. I called Ray based on Chris' review. I was looking for a mechanic to quickly look over particular cars that I'm considering for my daughter. Ray gave me a good price, made an appointment for the next day, and gave us some personal advice about the car, besides just what he had found wrong with it.I trust Ray, and will continue to use him as I look for a suitable car to put my baby in.

Ray has worked on our vehicle twice, he is a great mechanic. Diagnosing and properly fixing the real problems. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Can't recommend him enough.

Your ReviewThanks Ray, I appreciate your advise and the work that you did on my car. I needed to have my starter replaced and I admit that I had some concerns, If my car would be fixed in a reasonable amount of time, would I be able to afford the service and would the repair be done on this visit. I must say that each time that Parrott's Auto has worked on my car it has been a dependable and pleasant experience.

Ray was so helpful and provided a quick solution to the issues I was having with my Jeep! He got me in the shop the next morning and completed everything on my list by the late afternoon. He had everything I needed for the Jeep, which made it so nice that I didn t have to wait to pick up. My AC is blowing way harder than before, which was my main issue I needed him to fix due to this heat! Just in time for the August heat. I also felt that his prices were fair and that I wasn t being pushed into buying things I didn t need. THANK YOU!!! Will definitely use him again.

Ray is the man!!!! He provided high quality service at a great price. He is an honest repairman that knows his stuff. He makes you feel like an old friend not a customer. He got my car done the same day I dropped it off. Finally I found a repair man who isn't out to screw you over. I will defiantly be a returning customer.

Ray listened to my concern and got my vehicle in for service as soon as possible. Upon arrival, my issue was resolved and Ray did a great job explaining what was happening and how the issue was resolved. He did not charge me for any unnecessary car part or service and could not be happier. Will definitely be bringing all future auto concerns to this location. 10/10 service!

Ray runs this place as a family business. He isn't like other mechanics who try to talk you into making unnecessary repairs. A couple years ago when I was in a tight spot I brought my junk car in expecting to pay almost a thousand dollars for repairs that another mechanic told me I needed to pass emissions. I couldn't afford it and prayed that Ray would be able to do it for under a few hundred dollars.Not only did Ray help me realize that I didn't need ANY of the thousand dollars worth of repairs, but he also found the ONLY real problem that the other mechanic missed. The only thing keeping my car from passing emissions was a .25 cent rubber cap. It was an answer to prayer. I thanked Ray and I felt bad because I paid him almost nothing so I promised that when I could get the money together that I would come back and do some other much needed repairs like fixing the ac. Ray gave me a quick quote on how much it would cost to fix the AC and I left.Now it's a couple years later and I got the money together. I went in and reminded Ray how he helped me out before and how I promised to come back. He apologized for not remembering me which of course he can't with the hundreds of car repairs he does. I've never told him his previous diagnosis on my car and I never gave him my old phone number so he couldn't find me in the system. When he looked at my AC, he found the exact same problem he found 2 years ago and quoted me almost the exact same price.He was truthful with his diagnosis with me and he is fair with his prices. You might be able to find a friend or someone who can do it for a better price, but you also might be taking the chance of paying for unnecessary repairs or getting the work done by somebody with much less experience.Also I noticed Ray did a couple extra things for me and didn't charged me for them.

Oh my gosh! These guys went far above I ever expected. I rarely write reviews because most services today are mediocre at best but this is certainly not the case here. I was stunned and how efficient they operated, How relational they were with me and the workmanship that they did. I have a 2004 Honda Civic in which the transmission blew. Transmissions are always difficult to replace and have confidence in. Ray did the work. I jumped in the car and drove 1800 miles with zero problems. I could not of been happier. His honesty, His work, his prices and his efficiency were amazing. I would never take my car anywhere else!

Had the alternator replaced in my car. It turned out to be defective. Brought my car back and Ray went himself to get a new one. Had it replaced within the hour. You can't go wrong at Parrott Discount Auto. My mechanic. Good people. Good prices. The only place I go for repairs.

My car failed me, but Ray and staff made a difficult repair and replacement in only three business days, well ahead of anything I expected. The price was high as you'd expect, and definitely fair and professional. I have been going to these guys for a few years now.They really make you feel you are getting a good deal and dealing with good honest people. Ray seems to have a heart of gold. His son appears to be an extremely talented person.As long as I live in Arizona, I will never go to another mechanic.Go to these guys if you want what we all hope for in a mechanic but never seem to get.I feel like I'm writing an advertisement but this shop legitimately deserves praise.

My vehicle is always done when promised. Ray has no problem actually showing me what is wrong with my car (on my actual vehicle) and explaining exactly what needs to be repaired. I've researched and the prices are comparable to other repair shops. I trust the people there and the work they do.
